BRAND NEW BOUNTY FOR THE MASSIVE 1,000,000,000 ROLLS!
-snip-

Hope there will be no downtime till the 1 billionth roll hit, and I think you need an extra notes just in case if there is a downtime like few days ago. Just to prevent a complain from the participant..  Smiley

Yeah I think they need that so people wont be angry anymore if there is downtime. Even if there is downtime, they deduct the downtime so there is no manipulation like some people accuse, they can only do a manipulation if they dont deduct the downtime and the downtime is because some hack so it is normal

Actually, in my opinion, it is unnecessary. If you think of every possible scenario, as I said, it will end up looking like the Terms and Conditions ot Privacy policy of a major company. If that is the case, all sites holding contest around here might need to hire someone just to write things up.

Usually when contests are held, at least around here, there are too many conditions that are left unsaid where it neither possible nor faesible to account for everything. It is always left for a reasonable and fair interpretation if complications do arise. For instance, all contests can remove or disqualify a participant or entry if he/she is found to be abusing the contest, even if such is not explicitly stated in the OP.

Just my opinion. Smiley

Edit2: With what I know, if you deposit funds to that address, you will lose that since the private key is public now and anyone can have it.
Yes, but I haven't said "deposit some BTC here".

Yes, but what I am saying is they should delete the address - both keys, once they are done with it. There is a possibility that in future, they may accidentally use that address somewhere. Well, someone might also choose to keep it, just in case, someone accidentally deposits a couple of Bitcoins to that address? Grin

Im funny to see someone so desperate to win that 0.1 bitcoin. It has been said that the downtime will be deduct to ensure fairness. It has been said like since the first downtime and not something that is make up to cover the downtime also that the prediction is very way off if there is no downtime, very funny someone is angry because of this thing

It's funny to see dice site desperate not to pay up.
I'm just not a person that stays silent when i believe i was wronged, which i believe i was.

Read the op here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996260.msg11994350#msg11994350 and first reply, now add the fact that i was right on the date and you will understand my point,
unless you're a their shill as well.

LOL, your argument is something like : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1152981.msg12145466#msg12145466 only far less credible.

Im funny to see someone so desperate to win that 0.1 bitcoin. It has been said that the downtime will be deduct to ensure fairness. I am not sure how they can argue that downtime being deducted would be fair. There was no term in their contest that downtime would be deducted so it should be fair to expect that it would not be.

The fact that they control the speed of rolls mean that by slowing down or speeding up rolls just a little bit mean that it would be easy to manipulate who the winner is.

Downtime deducted would be fair. As I already said, it is quite unfair to deny the person who predicted the correct date. Da Dice has control over when the site can be up, so the concept of fairness would require that Da Dice should deduct the downtime. It is pretty obvious.
Also explains why he waited for the winner to be announced before making the point. If he wanted it to be handled properly he should have done so when it was announced. His points lose all credibility by now. Tongue

You really can't expect someone to think it all out, consider all possible scenarios, however unlikely that may be, for conducting a simple contest. Am sure, it would be too bulky that none of you would bother to read it.
Do you want the OP of a contest thread to be something like the Privacy Policy of Google Huh

I am pretty sure that if Da Dice haven't done so, you would be arguing against.
I feel I shouldn't have argued against you two. Tired of stating obvious things. Wouldn't bother to do it again. Smiley

There was an error pushing your transaction to network!

Did you sign your transaction? Is this double spend? Have you already sent this transaction?

Dang!

Even if the transaction goes through miraculously, the funds will go to everyone who has the private key. Pretty weird way to giveaway. Tongue

Edit: LOL, funny replies. OP never said the address the private key has funds, it would only if the transaction goes through.

Edit2: With what I know, if you deposit funds to that address, you will lose that since the private key is public now and anyone can have it. Other than that, what is meant by hacking the wallet Huh

Because that the dice is broken now, the site has almost no people that play. betterbets is casino but the dice game is the best one I think, do you have any plan about new game that will make people want to play it and not focus on dice only?

We have more games planned, the newest one is mostly done just needs testing and some of the math behind it to make it compatible with Moneypot. If any games will be more popular than dice across a broad spectrum of players is very hard to say, mostly because dice is simple and allows for many strategies it appeals to most everyone. I think our new game will be well liked, but we really cannot predict yet if a game will beat dice's popularity; this won't stop us from trying to make one that will though Smiley

Bitcoin is a world of infinite possibilities. Cheesy

You never know what will be the next No. 1 thing. Smiley
2297  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Gen Social Gambling Dice Experience | Progressive Jackpot on: August 25, 2015, 05:00:25 PM

Your statement is not valid in my opinion. When sites fail like dadice did, they usually expand their original offer, but most certainly do not try to avoid payments.
I predicted to op correctly that was one month ago, and dadice failure to hold site online should not hurt me as an contestant.

Just like 20th is the correct in one hand, the 24th is maybe even more correct in another.

Can you imagine Stunna pulling something like this off with primedice? Not a chance.

Had the downtime hadn't happened, 20th would be the winning date. The downtime was not supposed to happen. It is as simple as that.

If Da Dice had declared 24th a winner, that would be really unfair, in my opinion. And your point means Da Dice could wait a few months before going up, and deny everyone the entries? Come on, mate, it is not logical.
If you had genuine concerns you are to suggest it when OP made the announcement. I don't think anyone else would consider this unfair, in my opinion. It is the best possible decision someone can make.

This is one of the posts made on 20th August 2015, which makes anyone dead certain that 20th is really the winning date.

wow, site is online and autobet work, only 2 mln bet for 750 million.

I see 113 user online, but in chat or to site?
On site, but seems to have decreased down to 90 users now.
BTW 1.90 mill only to go now.

I had been around at the time, and I can confirm that it was around 748,000,000 at the time, and it would have hit 750m within the day in a matter of around 2 hours.

Stunna would do the same. Every responsible admin will try to make the contest fair for all.

Come on, mate, I know how you feel. But the decision he took is fair. Smiley

I am sorry i didnt judged anyone ... if i am right i just explained what people are seeing and what its effect can be ..

that might have been a bit more direct than intended. I wasn't addressing you direct, I just think people should read about how trust came together before judging based on a number, no matter if its positive or negative.
i get what you mean to say there ,but what you said was pointing my post straightly so i just gave an explanation...
i know there are many bad and unworthy guys out there who are having large amount of+ trust.

Yeah, trust is not a reliable way of measuring trust or just about anything meaningful from my experience. Even default trusted accounts and obviously a lot of green trusted accounts are being sold around, so there is no way one could conclude anything meaningful here.
