2881  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: January 09, 2023, 04:59:25 PM
Nova signature i avatar kampanja za Sr. Member+ članove:

Kampanja: [OPEN] [banned mixer] | Bitcoin Mixer | Signature Campaign ~ Up to $100/week
WTF  Roll Eyes

It's not typo. Campaign manager said that his escrow wallet was "drained" after few hours after transferring money to escrow. He said he got scammed.
We believe he just stole our escrow funds. We'll hire new campaign manager and create new topic a bit later, for now you can remove your signatures.
I'm not entirely sure how this happened but I'm pretty sure I've been hacked.

I am holding the funds for Coinomize and Yo!Mix Signature campaign, around $5,000 which is a lot of money here in the Philippines.

I am using this version of Electrum 4.3.2 which I've downloaded from the official website.

I know this looks bad and would probably look as if I ran with the funds, but honest to God, I did not.

I am devastated and ruined and quite frankly pretty angry at how stupid I am for not using my hardware wallet (Ledger) and just relying purely on Electrum. Either this old version is corrupted or they got into my system.

To those who hacked my wallet and owned this address: bc1qd5chfxnqa7gvrvl6cmqcvcvu3rjsl9gwa2juz8 you should know that you ruined my life.

I depend on this little hustle of bounty management to support the needs of my family.
2882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SWAPPY.GG - LIGHTNING FAST CRYPTO⇄CRYPTO EXCHANGE | NO KYC |THE LOWEST FEE 0.5% on: January 09, 2023, 01:34:08 PM
We are inviting you to try our service, if you have any questions - feel free to ask!
I see that you are claiming strict NO-KYC policy, and you won't ever ask for verification from customers.
This sounds good, but can you tell me if you are using some third party centralized exchanges or you have some independent source of funds?

In About page you say that your exchange exists from 2017, but domain is registered in 2022.

2883  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT] Looking for feedback. Crypto Visa Card on: January 09, 2023, 01:19:14 PM
I really got my money's worth out of it and will definitely use it some more.
Can you show us some proof that you actually paid for this card or you received it for free for this promotional review?
Anyone who receives something for free testing should always state this in public, or whole review is basically worthless or not objective.
Since OP said some legendary members gave them suggestions and advices, I have to assume you are one of this members...
2884  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Chipmixer phishing site chipmixer.xyz is showing no-1 position on google search on: January 09, 2023, 01:11:28 PM
ChipMixer clearnet is down for a long time now, I can't remember exactly since when it's down but if I'm correct it should be at least a few months and since Tornado Cash developer got arrested(not sure if both are correlated lol). Scammers are using that opportunity to rank up the fake ones and rip innocent users.
It's not down at all, ChipMixer is still using .com domain but it is not being used for mixing but it is redirecting to .onion Tor domain.
I think several forum members was suggesting this solution even before it happened to reduce and avoid risks of clearnet domain getting hijacked again.
We also noticed phishing domains like .xyz and others are on top of search engines but that is unrelated with official .com domain.
2885  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk forum vs OpenAI - ChatGPT on: January 09, 2023, 12:44:24 PM
The OpenAI is bad at History, LOL.
Just keep in mind that the information given by the AI is not always 100% true.
Got him lying here :
He is using publicly available sources and texts, so in theory he could use any nonsense written by someone, if OpenAI developers allow him to use that sources.
We should also consider that every story and information can have multiple points of view, history can be very different in nations that participated in war with each other.
I also heard students are starting to use ChatGPT in mass scale to cheat on their exams and people are seriously getting concerned with stuff like this happening.

2886  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another lesson for those that are using custodial exchanges and wallets on: January 09, 2023, 12:01:13 PM
Wyre users are able to withdraw, but they can only withdraw 90% of their money. Assuming you have $1000 on the exchange, you can not be able to withdraw $100 and Wyre users will be panicking about their money by now. Can you see that the more money they have on Wyre, the more money they can not be able to withdraw. On noncustodial wallet, you can send all your coins on the wallet at anytime.
Holding 10% of seized funds doesn't look like much but imagine if you deposited larger amount of money.
I never used Wyre but I see they are being used as fiat-to-crypto gateway, and they had connection with Metamask shitcoin wallet.
For what I see Wyre is registered in United States so I wouldn't be surprised if we see people starting to sue them soon.
2887  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Kako besplatno dobiti (ili zaraditi) Bitcoin ? on: January 09, 2023, 11:41:59 AM

https://heyapollo.com/

Zaraditi Bitcoin igrajući igre sa Zebedee:
https://zebedee.io/

Monetizacija sa GetMash stranici sa Bitcoin + Lightning Network:

2888  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: January 09, 2023, 11:18:24 AM
Uglavnom one time review je najtočniji opis.

2889  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Godisnji pregled aktivnosti domaceg podforuma on: January 09, 2023, 11:06:00 AM
2890  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone....Well I didn't want to post it but here it is. on: January 07, 2023, 10:43:12 PM
Don't mean to offend you as you did to me, but to make you think on which side of the fence are you. Or maybe you do work for a hardware wallet company (in secret...) ?
The path to progress... yeah sure, you are going to ''improve'' and save earth by calling something a $100 scam without any proof.
I work for hardware wallet company called dkbit98stone and I can sell you my latest hardware wallet that is best in the whole universe, but I will give you 10 models to chose and you can change your mind 20 times  Roll Eyes
I just don't like when people call something a scam because they want ultra fast premium royal service, and when they are changing their minds like wind blows.
It's easy for me to call ledger hardware wallet a scam, but I never did that.

Even now, I am online chatting with Amazon support about an order they messed up twice. It has taken so long to deal with this issue that I could have gone out and gotten a part time job and earned more then I paid for it and bought a new one locally......
Last time I had problem was when I ordered laptop battery.
Seller didn't sent me correct tracking code, I waited more than Keystone buyer, they never replied to any of my questions, I never received battery, but I received full refund in the end.
2891  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Are there any smartphones out there that are hard wallets too? on: January 07, 2023, 10:32:33 PM
Sort of like a ledger or cold card but a phone as well?
There are some hardware wallets that look like phones but they are actually hardware wallets, in first place this is Passport hardware wallet by Foundation.
Passport started as ColdCard fork but with open source software and hardware, with added improvements and much better look.
Keystone wallet also looks like smaller smartphone, and it only functions as hardware wallet.

You can use old smartphones for coins but I would not consider it to be safe as hardware wallet for several reasons, but you can use them in combination with other hardware wallets.

One guy even used old Nokia phone to turn it into Bitcoin wallet:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5420438.0

WiPhone can also be used for some Bitcoin wallet project:

2892  Other / Meta / Re: Can not quote to a post on: January 07, 2023, 10:15:01 PM
Anyone else is having such unwanted error?
I tried to quote the same post and it works for me like for any other post, but like other people said you probably have Altcoins board on ignore.
Something similar happens to me only when I have many opened tabs for longer amount of time and then I get error that I can't quote or reply anything until I refresh the page.
2893  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone....Well I didn't want to post it but here it is. on: January 06, 2023, 02:47:42 PM
Not to mention Keystone are actually expecting me (by their own words, written by email to me) to contact the logistics company and Amazon to solve the issue - is this fair? Who's job is it to solve this?
Dude, you changed your mind like a child, and they are based in China, so don't expect royal service as if you purchased a Lamborghini.
I gave you a simple solution for your problem but you continue to behave like a child, so I am not taking you very seriously.
You can blame Keystone or do whatever you want, but I know much worse stories with shipping problems for other hardware wallets based in Europe.
I waited for several deliveries, refunds and returns many times in my life, and for longer periods of time than you, but I never said said someone is a scammer because of that.
2894  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2022 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: January 06, 2023, 01:22:10 PM
Prohibition of use By using the service you also agree that you are NOT an individual who is a resident of any country of European Union (the "EU")
This is crazy... and I failed to see this few days ago when I did my initial testing of their website.
They are excluding half of the planet from using their website, including EU (like you said) and United States, but they are also not allowing usage of any coins connected with gambling, cannabis and bunch of other things.
They can basically seize your coins for any of the reasons mentioned in their terms, unless they just wrote that for cosmetics/legal purposes.
Other thing I noticed with YoMix is that I am sometimes getting 504 Gateway Timeout errors and website gets randomly unavailable.

2895  Economy / Goods / Re: ~ Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN ~ on: January 06, 2023, 01:05:09 PM
Big news of the day for the Cybertruck… It’s being reported that there are no plans to equip the Cybertruck with airbags for passenger safety. Apparently as it stands, passengers are supposed to be protected by the unique design and materials used in the Cybertruck along with seatbelts. I’m sure they’ve done the testing to ensure it’s safe and will pass regulations, but this is something for potential owners to consider who may be accustomed to airbags.
Tongue Roll Eyes
Are you kidding me?!
You actually think it's ok to trust Elon Musk words about safety instead of common sense?
He is obviously cutting corners with no-airbags and doing this to reduce production cost for their new junktruck.

Let's see one short video how Tesla is ''safu'' for the people, while TSL stock keeps going down:

2896  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone....Well I didn't want to post it but here it is. on: January 06, 2023, 12:53:29 PM
Keystone are a scam company. I had ordered Keystone Essential during their blackfriday promo period and then decided that I better get the Pro and contacted them in order to return the package (keeping in mind the package was still in transit).
Well it's not the first time Amazon ''lost'' the package  Tongue
Keystone is certainly not a scam company, and to be honest you maybe started all this mess with choosing to change your mind, returning package and ordering Pro version.
You can say they didn't act very professionally, and they probably could respond in a better way, but they won't get rich from $100 you paid for this device.
My suggestion is to try talking directly with Keystone CEO Lixin Liu and find solution for your problem.
2897  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Xor or multisig on: January 06, 2023, 12:42:43 PM
Which one do you like better?
Multisig is always a better and safer option than SeedXor or alternatives like Secret Shamir Sharing that uses splitting of seed words.
You can also ask yourself why only Coldcard hardware wallet is supporting Xor and no other hardware wallet.
With Multisig setup you don't have single point of failure and I think this is not the case with Xor and other alternatives.
2898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Demand Bitcoin as Ransom in Romania on: January 05, 2023, 09:20:57 PM
It's stupid and unethical to demand Bitcoin ransom from hospitals, but this just shows how insecure and exposed our medical records are.
I would not trust governments in keeping anything specially in recent years, but I think they are again going to blame ''evil bitcoin'' for this hack.
How stupid they sound now when they want to go all digital with CBDC and everything else, just imagine how much will hacking cases increase then.

2900  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Stax (Ledger's latest hardware wallet) on: January 05, 2023, 08:44:24 PM
Ledger released this new wallet called Stax and I have to say it does look cool physically, but what I was researching is inside components.
Most of the components and secure elements are the same that are used in ledger nano S plus, but they also included battery in Stax and that is the thing that makes me think this device will have similar problems like model nano X.

For people who don't know there is still a lot of problems with quality and control of batteries put in nano X, and I still see a lot of complains on their reddit page.
There are other problems people report with screen for model S, or bricking device when updating new firmware, but that is different story.

Here is one guy saying recently that 3 of his 6 ledger devices are defective!
https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/comments/103w9fb/3_of_my_6_ledger_devices_are_defective/

Different guy saying [Nano X] Not working when on battery. Ledger support not answering:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/comments/103g7ez/nano_x_not_working_when_on_battery_ledger_support/

Few days ago, Ledger Nano X : Error Battery Cannot charge:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/comments/zvrmsx/ledger_nano_x_error_battery_cannot_charge/

Stax is using rechargeable lithium-ion 200 mah battery, and model X is using lithium-ion 100mAh battery, so I think it's just difference in number of cells.
We still don't know if they are using same partners from China for batteries in model Stax, but if they are, I would stay far away this new ledger device.
