He is easy to spot based on only one or two easy to detect posting features. But Blitzboom has the edge on me since I block the newbies boards and all new accounts have to start there. I don't want to reveal specifically what features, since they would be easy to stop doing and that would make our job harder, but they are very reliable indicators.
3002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The best new Bitcoin PROJECT from China! (Tablets and BITCOINS) on: May 10, 2012, 02:02:56 AM
well that sounds pretty cool.

but i was never aware that there is a separate "relay node software"?  isn't that just built in to the current client?
Right now they are one and the same, but there isn't any reason for them not to be separate. It just hasn't been coded. Might as well have full functionality though, IMHO.

I see you have a subtitle saying "Internet Detective"...

I need one also: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=80480.0

Those are some serious skillz there ^^. The fun starts on page 2 lol
I figured it out before you. Read earlier posts.

This is epic on a scale that I have never imagined. Best of luck.

Nice to see you guys offering more speed to existing customers. Any chance you guys would open up your development to the community? This might yield additional speed increases and increase the value of the product you are selling.
Their speed changes are just adjusting the clock, not the actual sha256 'code'.

Anyone got the tools to generate the source code from the EasyMiner executable and post a link here?
It's .NET v2.0.50727 (and VB in there)
I notice in the binary it detects throttling and was mainly wondering if that was done via simply noticing it's slow to process the nonce range or if there is some way to directly detect the clock/throttle.
No doubt there would be more commands to the BFL than the current VERY SHORT list of: ZGX, ZDX, ZLX and ZFX

I gathered that, but it is worth asking if they'd open source their bitstream so the community could potentially spur their project along. I imagine if they are using Spartan6 cores for the Mini Rig they'll be using or at least starting with the open source Spartan6 bitstreams..
Since when do the mini-rigs use Spartan 6 chips? That was idiotic speculation from earlier. The mini-rig modules still only have 2 chips, and a total hashrate of greater than 2x Spartan 6.

.....that is all.

I once went to Vegas in a million dollar plane, but came home in a $100,000 bus.

You should build this thing! http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=19183865
I made the parts list, and if I can sell some of my other shit I am going to have http://geekbox.com/ build it for me. Grin

I am proud to have been mentioned as a potential customer of such a well designed system, but I must regretfully say that I have actually had nothing whatsoever to do with it.
3012  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can someone tell me what this is? on: May 09, 2012, 11:50:17 PM
I don't even mine. Just saying that I replied to him to poke him and try to get a reaction, but figured it would be better not to do it, so I deleted the post. Are you sure it wasn't my post you saw? My reply was made 1 min after ThiagoCMC post and deleted less than 30 seconds after. If it was my reply you saw than you were lucky lol

I did not see your reply I think.

I believe I saw P4man's reply. I also think Turbor is a sock puppet of P4man along with a lot of the other EU people pretending to buy FPGA all day and selling GPUs ( probably another hypocrite approach to lower GPU prices so he can get them cheaper just like the pool hopping hate because they are cutting into his side business ).

Sooner or later all the people on the forums will be unmasked as doing something dodgy as hell ...
When you have lost, you resort to calling everyone and everything socks and scammers. Lame.

Lost what ? I am 90% sure that Turbor = P4man. You have to admit there are tons of sockies here on the forums. There was a user called "SockPuppet" even.

Lame ? You were probably in this scheme. I saw loads of "rj..." HEHE
So now it's a scheme? And before, you thought it was a botnet? I dunno what your agenda is, but you seem to fear something. Are the voices in your head trying to get you?

Didn't they also just mention ZMX to blink the front LED?

Hm, I guess pool mining is still disabled in this version.

you mean p2pool probably !
No, I mean the inbuilt connection to eclipse. This version can only be used to upload firmware, not mine on eclipse. Presumably that is slated for future release.
3016  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Announcement] Bitscalper under new management. on: May 09, 2012, 11:25:00 PM
Ok guys, It's official, I walk away. I was a fucking moron for even getting involved with this at all what so ever, a lot of told you so moments have been had and I don't expect them to stop, they are deserved.
I won't be repaying the ~1000btc owed by bitscalper as I genuinely feel what I received was miss sold and not as advertised or agreed.

For what it's worth, would you guys like me to publish the source code on github and also publish the transaction log from bitcoind? (Though it will contain email address's of some ~700 users)

I am very sorry and I am ashamed of myself.
Holy shit, 700+ users from a few weeks of operation? People are fucking gullible.

I'm a little surprised that no one has created a simple, small program by now that just reads the wallet.dat file and spits back out a simple text file of the private keys, in the desired format (hex or whatever format starts with '5'.)

Multibit and Armory aren't close enough?
He said simple and small, and I know for a fact that Armory isn't going to run on a box with 512mb of RAM. Not sure about multibit though.

I opened a bank account without using my SSN, so an SSN is not a requirement. Wink

How?

(A corporation with an EIN is doesn't count as 'SSN is not a requirement' )

I would like to know the answer to that also.  Which US bank lets you open an account without SSN?  It would be good info to know, maybe they will help us issue CC without SSN also? Smiley  If you last opened a bank account or obtained a credit card some time ago you may be unpleasantly surprised to find that KYC & AML requirement have gotten a lot tighter in the last few years.
Notice how he used the word "my" when he said SSN? Just sayin...
