Sixers still without Joel as they face the Magic next. Some bettors would probably expect an almost guaranteed win for the Magic but I wouldn't be too sure about that. Sixers still has a good line up.
I agree that they have a good line up but we can't deny that they are not as good as they are when they are complete.
Missing their best player has a big impact, the reason why they lose on their previous game, and with the record of the Magic at home which is 11-3, it's hard to neglict that. I'm with the home team here with the -3 spread.

[....]
but yeah Jaime Jaquez Jr seeing his stats was really amazing, but that blocking was really what I like about the kid and for sure he didn't let the defense of the Miami Heat gets taken over, latest game on the 76ers he got 31 points for that game and even without Jimmy "Emo" Butler they still win the game and that was thanks to Bam Adebayo and Jaime Jaquez Jr,
I'm not taking anything away from the Heat but they're not that handicapped to "still" win the game. I would say both teams were evenly matched without their main player. No Butler for Heat but also no Embiid for the Sixers.
JJJ is one of the main reason of the Heat's success. Jimmy will not be pressured coming back knowing his team is doing well even without him. I think this credit goes to coach Spo for being good enough in developing unknown players.

What is the current status of the tournament now?

I just check on their official website and the time countdown says 9 days and 19 hours for the next scheduled games.

Are we already in the elimination/ playoffs? If so, was there a teams that had been eliminated already?

I think we just need for the experts to tell us the current status now. Based on what I heard when I watch the last game, I heared a word elimination, so most probably they are on a ranking now and those who does not have a good ranking will be eliminated.

Meanwhile, we have a game today for EASL tournament.

Currently it's Meralco vs Seoul SK Knights where Meralco is down by double digit, and because I trust Meralco I bet on them with the handicap of +9.5
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: December 26, 2023, 09:35:53 PM
Bitcoin does not make you rich but it helps you boost your opportunities to become rich in the future. For those who have been investing in bitcoin in the early years, I guess at the present they are already enjoying their success and the benefits that they have gained from bitcoin. So it's very clear that bitcoin offers opportunities to get rid off from poverty, but it won't happen for a quick but know that the process will be tough and would take quite long for before you can see positive results.

Patience is the key. If you don't have it, you will never have the right timing to be in profits with bitcoin.

Naoya Inoue just made history by becoming only the second fighter to become a 2-division undisputed champion. It was a brilliant display of ring IQ, hand speed, footwork, and stamina as he disposed of Tapales in the 10th round. Tapales made the fight interesting as he came to win, unlike the previous Inoue opponents who went into survival mode once they tasted the power punches of the talented Japanese.

With the win, Inoue has a serious claim for the pound-for-pound throne that The Ring currently entrusts on Terrence Crawford, the first 2-division undisputed in the 4-belt era. Inoue is a 4 division champion while Crawford is only a 3-division champion.

This is it, Inoue should be recognize to be at the top now with his win against Tapales, now holding all the belts and Japan are rejoicing with his victory. Inoue was very calm in the fight, although he know he could end Tapales in the early rounds but he prefer to stay calm, follow his game plan and try to wear down Tapales which actually what happen.

Inoue hasn't fought a serious opponent yet. I think that will only happen if he will move up in weight, again.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 26, 2023, 02:20:05 PM
In any case, Naoya Inoue has won by knockout against lefthanded opponents before the fight reached round  5. This might occur again which might make under 6.5 rounds a good bet. There is also round range 4-6 victory for Inoue.

If you guys push this bet through, you'll lose your money as the fight ended in round 10, in favor of Inoue.
Tapales went down in round 4 but he was able to get up and continue the fight, from then, he became so careful that he ain't throwing a lot of punches but just remain on being competitive. I don't know his strategy but it's expected that a fighter who would fight Inoue will lose his aggressiveness.

Tapales made it to round 10. Sure he is tough to KO but I think because in this bout he was more into defending himself. If his goal is to defeat Inoue, I think he will open himself to serious hits that will end earlier.
Tapales are no different than the fighters that had fought Inoue. They can't withstand the power of Inoue, so instead of looking for opening to knock out Inoue, they were focus on defensive stance to survive, it's the sad reality. So, I think Inoue has to move up so he can find an opponent that could match his power.

This fight is going to be the basis of the next fighter who will face Inoue. It made him ineffective. Inoue said he will defend his belt twice in this division, Nery I think should be the next.

Inoue has no reason to stay at super bantamweight. Although it was previously reported that he'll stay for a while, but for the sake of real competition, I think he needs to move up and look for another title fight.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In The Span Of six months what will make you trust a new casino on: December 25, 2023, 03:24:58 PM
I think most of the answers here are the -No complaints or scam accusations?-, but for me, I choose a different answer, and this is ""Launching a review and signature campaign". My reason on choosing that is very simple, for a gambling site to be able to launch a signature campaign, they should be liquid enough to pay for the weekly promotion the active members here would bring to them, and a liquid gambling site could signify that they are operating profitably and that would link to their good reputation.

In addition, by looking at the gambling site with signature campaign, it's quite appealing to the community, so this could mean they really mean business here.
327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A piece of advise to everyone. on: December 23, 2023, 05:57:33 PM
Mostly, people who refuse to be corrected are mostly the people who have a lot to say. And those who have a lot to say are those who often commit mistakes and throw bad impressions to others.

My point is just accept any correction that you received. Because in the first place, they might have seen you doing things the wrong way that's why criticisms are made. Do not throw criticisms back because that only shows that you are being immature and irresponsible.

For newbies, accept those corrections positively. You might be thanking them in the future because of the corrections you get, that you were able to go out from your comfort zone and unlock your own potentials.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: December 23, 2023, 04:28:13 PM
Overtrading is like abusing your opportunities to trade, so certainly not a good thing to practice. Even professionals still lose on some of their trades if they pursue trading despite of its unfavorable condition. At least, there should be good timing to trade, if not perfect. And patience should always be present in trading, so that a trader will not rush in trading just because of greed. He should analyze first the market well before he decides to trade and assume future profits.

Trading demands skills and strategies in order to succeed. So if you think you have not gained any of these, better not to enter trading.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: December 23, 2023, 03:59:18 PM
Yes, I've seen how you managed to convince your friend to invest in bitcoin and finally, he agreed to invest as well. However, what I want to correct is that showing him the amount of bitcoin in your wallet will never be right, certainly not a wise move for you because you are giving him the hint to steal your bitcoin or hack your account in the future. You forgot to stay cautious on your investment just because of your goal to convince your friend.

From this, hopefully you will learn your lesson and will not do the same mistake again. Bitcoin is very precious that people can't resist it from stealing if there's any chance.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 23, 2023, 02:38:46 PM
Against Butler, round 10 KO, and against Fulton, it's round 8 KO.

That would have ended up a boring fight if Inoue were not able to KO these two fighters. This only goes to show that even if they are champions on their own but they aren't on the level of Inoue yet.

Let's try to answer this question, is Tapales is in the level of Butler and Fulton, if the answer is yes, then Inoue would still likely end up winning an easy fight. The answer should be Tapales being above the level of the last two fighterst hat Inoue defeated.

Quote
So with your statement that Tapales has to be aggressive, it's either the fight will end early on Inoue's favor or his, that's how I see it.

It doesn't matter if it will end in few rounds as long as the quality of the fight is very entertaining. Besides, that's what we came for, we cheer on the fighter we re leaning but we always expect a fight that would satisfy us, especially for those who pay for the price of subscription or venue tickets.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 23, 2023, 12:35:58 PM
This is very risky but if you have a good spare, who knows upset happened and make you some decent profits. Good Luck Kabayan!

Every bet is risky as we never know the outcome of the game. Magnolia looks obvious to be the winner but upsets can happen anytime, and the fact that we are discussing about rigging of games here, then it's one of the factor to consider if they really want Converget to win.

Upsets do happen every now and then especially in this game of basketball. End of the first half now with Converge having a slim 3-point lead but that lead will be erased once Magnolia will go full throttle in the second half.

Have managed to bet for Magnolia while on the halftime break, Magnolia -6.5 @1.82.

Great catch! It was a low scoring ball game as they only finish a total of 168 points, and with that, you know which team's pace have dictated the game. Magnolia won by 8 points so you won your live bet bro. It was an exciting 1st 3 quarters but Magnolia had a big run in the 4th quarter and resulted to outscoring the Converge by 10 points. Magnolia is really dangerouse when they will play pressure defense, that has been their strategy and they are very effective with that since they are good in managing their players minutes, so they could preserve the energy in the 4th quarter.

By the way, I saw Calvin already back in the line up of Magnolia, now they are 100% healthy and sure they are the team to beat this season.

I believe they are still at the top of the standings now even though they aren't perfect anymore as they lose to the Rain or shine, but I'm also counting now the possibility that Ginebra will overtake them since Scottie was already back.
333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is merit necessary for my survival here on: December 22, 2023, 10:42:53 PM
Greetings everyone!

I really want to know if merit is necessary in other to secure my account, my friend who introduced this site to me said, I must have merit

Please how do I get this merit and how is it important.

If you aim to participate in signature campaigns and get decent income, then you have to earn and secure your merits so that you will be qualified for any campaign. However, if your intention is just to engage in the forum and learn all about crypto, then earning merits is not necessary at all. Your account will always be secured as long as you didn't violate the rules. And as long as you respect the ideas of other forum members, your account will always be safe from banning or getting restricted from the forum.
334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you use platforms offering AI help for crypto trading in 2024? on: December 22, 2023, 09:31:53 PM
Hi guys! Happy holidays! Just wanted to know if you're planning on using AI bots and such technologies to boost your crypto profits in 2024. And now that I'm talking about this, I'm curious if you've already started to use AI for taking trades.
I don't see using AI will increase the potentials to be successful in trading. If there's one thing that will boost my profit opportunities, that would be using my own intellect and gained knowledge and experience from my previous trading journeys. No AI can beat human intellect and proper thinking, so I won't fall for AI.

Experience will make the most in my trades. Not relying on AI for good.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin will bring you hope and gambling will leave you destitute. on: December 22, 2023, 08:58:06 PM
Both investing and gambling may create hope for all of us but it also depends on how we see it in long term. If we invest in bitcoin with high patience and do our best to hold it for long term by not getting tempted to sell it very early, then certainly it creates hope for us and we are holding into it.

However, gambling can do the same way if we do it the right way. By only gambling to entertain ourselves and just spend an amount that we can afford to lose, then I believe gambling will still give us hope and even good profits in the end.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 22, 2023, 07:20:52 PM

He did try to surprise Inoue, but the opposite happened, instead of him use that strategy it was Inoue who surprised him and counter him
in any way he tried to throw his solid combination.

I also think that Donaire give that advise to Tapales to avoid mistake with his strategy, better to keep close and try to read whatever the fighting style
Inoue will use for their fight.

Though we don't really know what it is and what would be the plan for this upcoming fight, all will be reveal during thier meeting inside the ring.

Donaire realized that he did a big mistake by being too aggressive leaving him vulnerable to the counter punches of Inoue. That's why the rematch didn't really played well on the side of Donaire. Well, as we all know, Donaire had a good fight against Inoue on their first meeting, but that's all he can offer, he hit Inoue with some solid shots but the monster Inoue stil able to endure it, therefore he can't really beat Inoue using his power, so he shoudl have adjusted trying to use his height advantage and quickness, but what happened, happened, so he lost and probably career over for him.

Now, Tapales is quite young compared to Donaire, so he is more powerful, the only thing he needs to do is to conserve his energy and try to look for a one punch KO as Inoue will be very busy every round.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 22, 2023, 02:00:25 AM

Let see if how things will continue, it's needed an adjustment before placing your bet Kabayan.

The kind of adjustment we need if we believe that a game can be rig is simply not betting on teams that majority wants. I guess I need to be specific, when I say teams, this could mean a spread or handicap on a certain team, as just like the Magnolia vs DYIP, Magnolia is sure to be the team that the public wants and they actually won, but if the public bet on the spread, they lose.
338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: STOP! Before you become a prey of a scammer! on: December 21, 2023, 09:36:36 PM
Do not trust anyone but only yourself. Anyone that offers instant help and would make you believe that you can make unlimited profits, that is clearly a big scam. When this happens, just leave immediately or block them so they won't create future communication with you. Paid groups or channels are sometimes scams as well. You really don't know if they are profitable on their own, so just avoid this kind of groups or channels.

Having AI makes more scamming possible. It's good to be acquainted with the technologies around, but sometimes you have to consider the risk as well so you won't fall into being the victim of scam.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think Bitcoin ETF will be approved? on: December 21, 2023, 07:54:06 PM
I think it will be approved within Dec last.
What you guys think?
That is beyond my control, what's important to me is that it should be approved before bitcoin halving comes as it will also contribute a significant price increase for bitcoin. December is a holiday season, that's why SEC made January as their target month to approve Bitcoin ETF. And probably we will know their answer after January 8, as it's that target date that they will come to approve based on the news update.

As long as there will be positive action for that, that is more important. The bull season would be more festive and joyous if two big events like Bitcoin ETF approval and bitcoin halving will come into reality.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: December 21, 2023, 12:57:30 PM
In my opinion almost all steps that states take to "protect" gamblers have no real benefit. If they wanted to really help people with gambling addiction, they could open more free rehabilitation centers, advertise them on central television, launch information campaigns that would explain the negative consequences of mindless gambling. All this costs money, which will have to be allocated from the budget, so they simply do not make real steps, but only create the appearance of hard work.

It doesn't look good if they will open a rehabilitation centers of addicted gamblers as it will only imply that addiction has already become rampant.

Gambling is controllable by the government, since they regulated it, they have the right to ban it, or consider it as illegal. However, seeing the money that flows to the funding of the government, they can't make that kind of decision to stop, so it's really unto us now, either we become responsible, or be on the other side and experience the effect of addiction, after all the government doesn't care about us since gambling is not a necessity.

There's no benefit to the government by actually stopping gambling. In fact, they make lots of money by taxing gambling income.
They not only tax citizens for gambling income but also tax gambling operators for running casinos.
So its only in the hands of the individual if he wants to quit his gambling addiction.

I hope that's why others think, gambling is a personal choice, it's there for us to have fun and maybe try our luck but it was never recommended to be considered as a way to change our financial aspect in a positive way. Although there are some who were successful in gambling, like sports bettors and card players, but let us not forget they have the skills and are exceptional, we aren't.

The governmnet will keep what they could benefit, and since gambling industry is a billion dollar industry, it could only mean that it's too much to sacrifice for them.
