Angel, I think it's time to develop a thicker hide. Stop being a wimp. Nobody is bullying anyone. This isn't facebook. If you act a certain way, you'll be treated a certain way. That's how human beings work; they perceive and respond in the way they best see fit. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Reevaluate what you've done, why it received negative response, and act accordingly. You'll figure this out when you get older, but, as of right now, it's going to sting when I say this: Nobody cares how you feel you're being treated. We're not your brothers and sisters and the mods aren't your parents. If you don't like it, go away. If you think you'll stop throwing a tantrum and act like an adult from now on, the forum's always open to everyone. Cyber-bullying is such a BS distraction for the over-sensitive. It makes more sense for teens, anyway, to overreact to "bullying." When it comes to adults, it stops applying.
Also, stop using your when you're obviously trying to say "you're." Maybe you should wait a few years, mature, and then come back?

I don't see what the problem is. It's not like Bitcoin is going to develop cancer because someone made a twin. Then again, if I had a clone of myself, I'd probably attempt to kill it. But after realizes how fucking awesome he was, we'd probably get along swell. Then maybe he'd tried to kill me.

The easiest way to avoid the OWC issue is to diversify. Keep your assets in many different currencies; nobody can force you to do something you don't want to do. All they can do is punish you for not doing it. Imagine if one nation attempted to put every other nation in jail for not using the currency they feel is best; it just won't happen. As long as any currency is free, open and voluntary, you'll never have to worry about one currency ruling. If you see signs of a currency leaning toward fiat, refuse to use it. The idea that people belong to the government needs to end, and it ends when the majority realizes it's the other way around.
The credit/debit only is the most likely to occur first; it's a matter of convenience to most people, but the average Joe isn't a walking credit machine, so unless you equip the whole nation with card-swipers, it'll be hard to implement. What will likely happen is all money goes digital, and you trade balances via cell-phone or whatever devices are available. However, unless it is mandatory that every person has a cell phone, the following will have to ensue:
RFID chips. These can store any number of things. This is another matter of convenience; they can be incredibly useful, but only when done properly. I won't go into the details of what they can do to ease things (but a few examples: lock safes and gun-lockers only you can open, exchange money only you approve of, and the most common reason: if you get lost, which is controversial in its own right) As I said above, it depends on who's doing what with it. At first, it will be voluntary. At the point it becomes a requirement upon birth, that's when it becomes a travesty. I don't think RFID chips will ever catch on, or else they would have back when they were introduced shortly after 9/11. As it is, I wouldn't want one in my body, mostly because they've been shown to develop cancer cells and other adverse effects.
Let's just keep advocating Bitcoin and its altcoins, and we'll be in good standing.

"Hi. I'm a stranger on the Internet and I need your money. I plan on burning your money on auctions. However, I will magically find the money to pay you back, despite being unable to afford the things I want today." What a sound business plan! i'm ready to provide any necessary documentations and verifications required.
You can begin by revealing where you're from and why they don't teach capitalization there.

They do suck, It's really rude. Shouldn't be up to admins to judge what post is good or not.
But the admins don't judge that at all. It's an automated system. If you're implying a machine can make an informed judgment on the spot, then I have to ask, from which year in the future do you return?

When you're sitting on the top, you don't want anyone to knock out the bottom; then everyone else comes crumbling down.
Therefor, you attack those who leave from the bottom. The vast majority of fiat is held by those at the top of the pyramid, and yet those on the bottom of the pyramid are in the billions. The rich cannot be rich without another group to be poor. When people realize that anyone who is rich will attack anything which will remove that facade, the pyramid will show a collapse. The world would even out a bit, and the vast line between the rich and the poor will bring both groups rather close; the line between rich and poor would be awful gray, instead of black and white as it is today.
And maybe then we can all move on with our lives.

To be a politician, you don't need to think. You just need enough money to put your face on every bench and billboard.

Bytecoin: the coin that isn't Bitcoin.

That's an alarming amount of cheese lovers on this site.

idk if bytecoin will take off but there is a reasonable chance that a series of carbon copies of bitcoin will be used to solve the scalability problem and it would appear that bytecoin is the first in line. I think its a hell of a long shot but a good bet if you are into lottery ticket type investments =) Scalability problem? And frankly, I personally think a carbon copy coin is a wasted effort. Why not roll in some changes to tackle a few issues bitcoin is currently facing? And what's to stop each user on this forum from just creating their own coin and flooding the world with hundreds of copycat branches? The fact that everyone would have to use a thousand different clients to accept Stevecoins and Billcoins and Joecoins. It's not such a big deal right now, as you could probably count all the altcoins on both hands, but after a certain point in time, altcoins won't gain traction because the top, say, 10 altcoins, are already good enough, and the 100th, unless it brings something remarkable to the table, will go unnoticed. But literally nothing is stopping anyone, to answer the question. The question is, is it worth it? Most people don't think Bytecoin is worth it, and thus, they don't adopt it, don't install the client, and without people accepting Bytecoin, it doesn't do much. The natural order of any commodity, I think.

Well, people still think their is they're... I wouldn't be surprised if someone somehow managed to mistake a bit for a byte.

Can't it be decentralized? Linear? Why always with the pyramid hierarchies? They're so 18th century. This is the twentieth-first century. Lets all be little equals. No kidding! Besides, everyone knows I'd be leader

Also, you have to keep in mind their perspective. From their perspective, back in June 2012, they were fully intending to have a working product shipping out in late October or early November. Then, unexpected problems turned up. With each successive push-back of the ship date, they were expecting to be able to ship on that ship date. More unexpected problems kept getting in the way of them doing so. Now, you could argue that they should have foreseen these problems, which is a reasonable argument, but it doesn't change the fact that they didn't foresee them and they were intending to ship at each of these given time periods.
I agree. Yet once they started realising that they're having problems delivering, the most sensible thing to do would be to stop taking preorders until they have it figured out. Also I wouldn't have any problems with this if the preorder was simply a place in line, pay once the product is ready to ship, but it is just incredible that all this time they just keep taking preorders when they clearly have no idea when, if ever, they can ship. Bitcointalk is not BFL. They can't stop people giving money to BFL, but when they're running BFL's ads all this time without any questions asked, that basically makes Bitcointalk a partner in crime. Bitcointalk is accepting money from a company that is looking more and more like a fraud every month. I know running the forum isn't free, but there should be at least some concern on where the money is coming from. All I'm saying is that maybe it's time to put the ads on hold until the issue is resolved. There will be plenty of other advertisers to take their place. I still say, why not take preorders? If people want to order, why not let them? I suppose you're right. But if I had a pal who wanted to pre-order BFL, I'd probably slap his shit. In any case, people need to learn to stop following the herd over cliffs. This cannot be accomplished through hand-holding.

People buy intangible things all the time. If intangible goods have value, they have value going both ways.

Of course, Bitcoin will inevitably fail when a newer technology takes its spot. But it'll probably be another crypto-currency.

The only problem I have with it is you seem to be assuming time travel, so the word "soon" is somewhat vague.
I was gonna write eventually but boy, that was a long word to write, so I settled on soon.
