361  Economy / Reputation / Re: How do you get rid of the unreliable(red) trust ? on: October 09, 2020, 07:30:46 AM
What I gathered to know is that Wapinter is just a bounty manager. The question is, will we tag a bounty manager for not getting paid in a campaign? Yes, I understand the responsibility of a manager but in the case of token paying bounties how we handle the case? Those tokens are already zero value when a participant starts their work.
Regardless of the value, even if they are worthless at the moment it's an agreement to exchange X amount of tokens for work. I think the manager should back up their claim that the work is insufficient, if they tag ta participant and don't pay. OP wouldn't be wrong to tag them as a manager who doesn't pay for work and chooses not to back that up, while providing their own examples of complete and competent work.

I need opinion from other members
You must be new here Grin
Rofl

In all honesty just add the ol ~ and be done with it. Doesn't mean that if for some reason in the future they act in a manner that makes you want to change your mind, you have to leave them excluded. The funny thing about excluding people is that most will have no idea anyways unless they consistently check LoyceV's tracker, and I imagine most especially newer accounts don't do that.

It's what it's there for, you said it yourself.
I can't trust him at all.

Hahaha, gifted 20 Krill, you do know that krill have no value right? I have around 40000, am I rich now?? hahaha
Feels like the asked you to make this comment Smiley .
Also, they never made clear about the 2 suspicious account they affiliate with, just spreading lies about it.
I'd like you to write "point" on your palm place your hand open faced above your head and look in the mirror. I figure illustrating things works best for you, as you obviously miss the point quite often.

The 20 krill was so they can chat, nothing more nothing less. If I'm not mistaken in a small way it actually negatively impact them as they begin providing a larger rake-back to the individual. Minor I know but just another example.

You'll find no one asks me to do anything, that is unless I volunteered and am taking to long. Either way not the case here.

I forget it got lost in a lot of the spamming, which 2 accounts, was that EndtheFed and HigherHighs or were there others. I'm lost you never really made your concerns clear. Personally I don't really care if someone associated with SWC plays in the games, if there seems to be any shady shit that falls outside expected results it would seem pretty clear. So unless there are valid concerns of cheating or collusion that aren't being investigated where is the issue.

Seems more like conspiracy theories and a "If I shout loud enough for long enough" type approach, which is useless. Especially when you don't listen to, care about or digest the responses. Unfortunately the sad truth is that most of the concerns I've heard raised by disgruntled members centers around no longer being able to enjoying a racist, phobic cesspool of a chatbox.

Edit:
Their comments are really odd and random. They are never active in any discussion and then just show up with that.
And the fact they are all about giving SWC a break for forgetting to update their site and the players about rake increases... WTF, Even if it is still low that's still a big deal!
That was a PR post all the way!
Nope not in any way shape or form. Just  one guys opinion.
Again they didn't get a break, they explained themselves and people decided for themselves how big an issue it was. Simple as that.

I find it hilarious that people seem to forget I suggested to all the disgruntled's who were being moderated to create this topic so you could express yourself freely. Don't get all bent when someone comes in here and has positive things to say.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ✅ SwC Poker ♣️ Player Lounge on: October 08, 2020, 08:27:50 PM
As soon as they reopen the thread lets bomb it.
Fairly shit idea I'd say. Why continue to spam the thread; it's pointless. What questions didn't they answer that you were so keen to keep reposting, I legitimately stopped reading your posts.

I saw answers and apologies regarding all changes they've made for a while. I might not agree with some things but it all seemed above board, apart from forgetting to update one part or another of their website or social media when changes where made. Your posts and gripes with them are exactly why I suggested this thread be created for a discussion not moderated by one side or another.

I was fairly pissed to find that thread locked. Until the shitshow that started over chatting and escalated from there, it was the right place to discuss tournament schedules and at least bend their ear to changes or features you wanted.

I'm also going to point out that I still find them to be more than reasonable in most situations. Hell a member of our little forum tournaments was gifted 20 Krill to top them up to 500, at their request, so they can participate in the table chat.
Just another sign that they just dont care.
These rats even blocked me from twitter months ago. Same old.
Maybe exit scam coming soon.
I can only imagine why Roll Eyes
I want to try their tournaments but need some free time for it, i will try to join them this weekend.
They are fun, and there's a pretty good range. Personally I really enjoy playing their Thursday Double - You play 2 tournaments at the same time and there is additional prizepools for the best finish across both for the week, and an additional one if you take first in both.
You should keep an eye out and come join the forum tournament we run weekly that they sponsor an additional prizepool in and take 0 rake from.
#4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) That's a link to the current series, which is nearly over.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Get F'd Bots, My first Poker refund on: October 08, 2020, 05:51:14 PM
Boom so not sure how many received a similar email to myself but ACR has banned 10 Bot accounts they tracked over the last 6 months or so. Boy did they get owned Roll Eyes

The short of it is here. 10 accounts, ACR provides refunds up to 25,000$ per bot based on their winnings. So if a bot wins more than that you only receive a percentage of what you would be owed. Total being refunded 249,997$ So for simplicity sake I say at least one of the bots was a terrible failure not being able to get over the 25K threshold Tongue

Flip side of that is that more than likely one or more of these bots made off like bandits earning well over 25K in their short stretch. What do they care because they likely have pulled most of the winnings off the account long before they are discovered, quite easy with BTC withdrawals.

In the end I was excited to see myself get back about 1/12th of my average buy-in Cry
It's funny I recognized the name but would never really be able to place the game or circumstances.

I do get why my refund is what it is and am not actually bitter. It's nice to se transparent action being taken, but it still feels like the crooks win more often than not in the poker world. With punishments really only ranging from confiscation of funds, and a ban. What good is that if they have already pulled out a ton of winnings.

Side note to this shortly after I felt something strange was going on in a final table situation I found myself in on a different site, whether semi collusion between long term felt friends or something else. I brushed it off at the time as I was being overly paranoid. Looking back even if I was being paranoid I wish I had sent an email to support. Worst case I'm wrong and they truly do play that way, or I might have saved others from running into the same situation as myself.
366  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How wallets make money? It is worse than you think. on: October 08, 2020, 05:31:34 PM
Don't really follow either project. I have used Trust wallet as a multi currency wallet - obviously doesn't support a crazy amount. Sidebar it was to use an erc-20 token our local meetup group created as a training tool for newbies, and downloaded atomic at some point to look it over. They just aren't my cup of tea, I prefer a project specific wallet for all my holdings.

My thoughts are this is a bit of a greasy move. It shows that their business doesn't have a clear plan to cover operational costs, and could be problematic in the future. Does this 2BTC amount cover the cost of keeping the coin supported indefinitely?? If not how long before they come looking again.

I could also completely understand them delivering this as an ultimatum where they state clearly how long this buys support for, and/or saying raise the funds or expect to be unsupported as of this date.

Forgive the ignorance as I see in the ANN for BTX there are several wallet options out there. So I would likely just move on, but I'm not sure how many of them are in a similar situation to coinomi. I would be much more open to a wallet project such as this coming with a one-time fee or something similar, upon first deposit. Nothing crazy something like 25/50 cents to ensure they don't essentially have to extort funds out of users in the future.

367  Economy / Reputation / Re: What to do if there's an inappropriate feedback I see on: October 08, 2020, 04:16:51 PM
It's up to you how you handle trust related issues. It's not like this is some crazy scenario where you are going to wind up on the outs with the majority of the population. The joy of the system is to have a diverse pool of actions and consequences, loosely held together by community opinion

You can ~ someone based on a single action if you chose. Nothing wrong with that, if they've shown their judgement to be flawed. You can reach out to them and discuss it, if you feel comfortable doing so. Some people are receptive some will tell you to mind your own business. One consideration I take is the amount of feedback left in this case - if this one "mistake" makes up 10% of their total feedback, I weigh it differently.

Really just make a decision and go with it. Worst case scenario is people don't like it and you can reverse course if you agree.

Personally in the past I have ~ based on a single action or many. Some of these people have reached out where others have ignored it; they either didn't care or don't pay enough attention to the system to see who has done this to them.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's F'n happening ----- Polk VS. Negreanu HUNL Grudge Match on: October 08, 2020, 02:54:04 PM
I'll take Dnegs at a discounted 5.  Just 10 bucks for your 50.  Open to anybody trusted or with a decent sig campaign.
I'll bite. Just to keep it fair I also promise not to give Doug any coaching. I also don't think it's going to be a walk in the park, but I still think Doug will pull it off in the end.

On a side note I've been trying to dig a bit and see what I can find on either of their training/practice schedules and I'm there isn't much.

I think Daniel is actually trying to goad Polk into a twitter spat or something. Could be some mental gameplay but he's tweeting
Quote
I am open to either allowing or disallowing the use of any RTA including charts during play.

A little concerning but more likely a red herring. He's only now looking to set up some 2$/4$ HU tables for practice. My only guess is that it would make sense if he's been doing more theoretical/coaching behind the scenes and now wants to put it to practice.

I didn't even really think about it but there is also no HUDS, during the match.

Edit: Bet wise I am confirming USD, and BTC as the payment method for squaring up. Do we do BTC value as of today or the day the match winner is determined?
369  Economy / Reputation / Re: How do you get rid of the unreliable(red) trust ? on: October 08, 2020, 02:01:54 PM
@tumis, this is purely the case for both of you between the manager and the Bounty participant, direct this thread to @wapinter PM or whatever, the important thing is @wapinter knows you are complaining about the trust he has given you.

So, if he is just talking nonsense, to avoid payment, to participants especially you, maybe we can tell @wapinter what is appropriate for you "Deleted or Neutral" in your case.
There is also a reason to bring your feedback issues to the community - I don't see the negative but that's due to my custom trust list. Is Wapinter on DT1 or DT2 or in the mix ?? If, so then whoever has included them in their trust list can be persuaded to remove them, if for no other reason than incomplete feedback.

OP, if you were truly unpaid for work that met the expected requirements and quality you should be leaving feedback yourself and creating a flag. I'd have to check more but this sounds like a Type 3 flag as the bounty threads themselves act as a written contract.

As others said feedback is 99.9% permanent, if the creator doesn't budge. I only know of one case in which it was removed and it was particularly egregious. This doesn't even come close to a reason for the admins to interfere.

More to the point grow thicker skin, this is the internet. If someone leaving you incomplete negative feedback which isn't even directly visible, and shows as untrusted feedback bothers you so much take a breath and step back. See it for what it is, insignificant. If there was reason or cause others would have tagged you as well and it would work up to DT members whose tag is visible - These members come from all ranks and activity.

You might want to research the Trust system further, because your actions in scam busting and whatnot are trustworthy behaviors that members look for. I have no plans to research your history or those threads but if you were creating them with the only intention to warn others and keep people safe, why would some random persons opinion (who you likely should have tagged) matter.

LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system

Edit: Just noticed the last exchange you guys had in the topic you bumped. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4496912.msg50835810#msg50835810

If you are looking for any sort of resolution you should probably create your own topic and present all the evidence if you still have it.

But NoobHere rivered a better straight!
To get an opponent with 2 cards to complete also improve a straight is very unlucky so far as I know, cant help luck.

The absolute luck of this, all in pre flop and somehow is granted ridiculous luck from what I can see.
Would love to have you, either for the remainder of this series or the next. It's funny at first glance that hand looks like an absolute luck job. All in pre though it's around 60/40 in favor of the 7's. With less than 10 Bigs it's a great feeling when you can survive those shoves.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's F'n happening ----- Polk VS. Negreanu HUNL Grudge Match on: October 07, 2020, 10:05:43 PM
i saw him getting crushed at the low stakes tables a few weeks ago. i wasn't sure if it was mainly cuz he's out of practice or because nobody respects raises at 1/2 or whatever stakes they were.
is there gonna be any live streaming of DN and polk, or is it just gonna be Kane Kalas providing commentary watching online tables? i'd love to see them talking shit in real time.
From the few articles I've checked, it sounds like Webcam on delay with the commentary coming through on twitch. So I'm guessing table footage, with Doug and Daniel able to talk in real-time. Hoping so anyway. Typing this I realized that either or could also fire up their streams if they decide they don't want to talk realtime.

One article that wasn't essentially a clone, did point out they are playing on WSOP.com

Yeah his first few matches were pretty rough. I didn't watch many of them but I did wonder how many of them made plays for the sake of making a play on Doug. Not long after I updated this thread I found a story in my "news" feed, Polk and Phil Naggy had a 1.5 hour session. 10/20 and Polk came out ahead 7K. Phil made it sound like Doug is back in fighting form.

Polk controlled the tempo of the game, making pots happen as he wanted, when he wanted.

Is this $200/$400 or 200/400 chips?
$ - It's a straight up cash game
We tend to repeat the same pattern with the same hand so its understandable if they will play 25,000 hands
For sure, and at this level picking up on tendencies and making adjustments is an essential part of the game. I'm ho9ping when it's all said and done that there will be a release with all hole cards shown.

I had to google the keyword of " RTA in poker" for this lol. I totally have no idea what it means until I saw from youtube. Seems like a great tool, you know where I could get one for our game this weekend?  Tongue ( Ignore my silly jokes lol)
Daniel wouldnt put his whole reputation just to use RTA for this game
Agreed. I almost think it was more of a jab, maybe an attempt to antagonize Daniel again.
The way I've been playing I might be the one who needs the assistance.  Grin

I have no clue about this guy but I would love to watch anything with Daniel on it. I learnt alot from him
Yeah Polk made his name playing this format. He has a ton of youtube content teaching and analyzing poker strategy. He is definitely one of the reasons I took an interest in improving my game.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's F'n happening ----- Polk VS. Negreanu HUNL Grudge Match on: October 07, 2020, 07:26:55 PM
So the event has firmed up some what.

Start date of Nov, 1
25,000 hands         Option to quit after 12,500   -  Option to raise stakes after 12,500 if both players agree
200/400     -    100BB stacks with an automatic top-up

No firm info on sidebet, or the site they will be playing on as of yet. Stream commentary will be done by Kane Kalas. The schedule should be interesting, minimum 2 hour session - with Polk looking for 4-5 hours a day, and Daniel saying something like playing 4-5 days a week until done.

Understandable but a little disappointing from a viewer/fan perspective was that Daniel said he won't be showing hold cards on delay. I completely understand that he doesn't want to get looked up and researched throughout the duration of the challenge. Funnily enough Polk has no trust in Daniel, and has an inspection request clause to ensure no RTA is being used.

Should be a good one, I watched what little Polk put out in August as he had open challenges out to get some practice in. Nothing spectacular and you could tell he knew he had to put some work in. Which I think he's happy with his progress the last month and a half, as he started pushing for a start date again.
373  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 06, 2020, 07:43:37 PM
What if there is a tie in points for that position 9?

Average finishing position in all tournaments participated in the series is the tie-breaker then. There is a column for average finish, but it's hidden for the time being between column "Pts Tot" and "Tickets".

In the spreadsheet I appear with a "D" in my interpretation I think I shouldn't have it, I played that tournament.

I put that D in, since you have no placement for that tournament, so I assumed you paid, but didn't join. But I can't check without screenshots - anyone has them for T5 ?
They finished 17th place, i must not have added them in before headed to bed/work that day. I didn't double check anything afterwards. Sorry for that. I will correct it tonight.
374  Other / Meta / Re: Did anyone explain grandfathering in PROVEN tagging abuse ? on: October 06, 2020, 09:55:25 AM
I didn't know theymos become grandfather at age of 291 Shocked
Just refers to allowing something that has been in place pre-change (Law, rule, qualification), to remain in effect despite being sub-par by new (build/hiring) requirements.

For OP, you are mistaken
How are the existing ratings converted into the new flags?

They're not. I decided that too many negative ratings aren't flag-worthy, and there's no way to automatically determine it. If you believe that a past negative rating is flag-worthy, you'll need to create a flag.

If you are just complaining about ratings in general having been grandfatheres then there is nothing more to discuss. A tweaked system didn't automatically negate anyone's feedback. It actually diminished the "power" of the previous DT grouping. So now if someone constantly remains neg'd it's because a larger percentage of the population here agrees they exhibit, let's say "Shitty" behavior.

You can also read the OP. of that quote. The need for flags was to allow more freedom in specifically targeting trade risks, and separating them from more personal opinion ratings. Which of course anyone can use as they see fit.
375  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 06, 2020, 09:31:43 AM

I don't think it was a mistake but intentional - I just can't figure out why but looking at that post...
~snip~

What's wrong man? When I read that, I thought you were making a joke - tell me you didn't really join the game with the intention of not paying the massive amount of 400 chips... saying players who don't pay the fees, wouldn't get points, doesn't make it any better.
Right. If I read that post I definitely missed that part. It seems that was the intent, and is complete BS.

So it's 4am, night shift and I'm getting slightly sick. So I'll try and be short and to the point. The fees for these tournaments are non-negotiable. Like for the sake of fuck, there are individuals who pre-pay their entire series, and given the choice are donating any additional fees they pay rather than take a refund they are entitled to and can receive. This is a semi-fun community game, not some reg table in the basement of Vinny's fine automotives where nothing but the chips matter and Villains be damned.

I couldn't point out anybody here except maybe Globb0, but when I talk about these plays and beats it's like I'm discussing playing with friends. Hell the wife even laughed and asked if we play for money because she said" You don't even seem a little pissed" after a suckout or BB.

So to see someone angling themselves ere in this manner, is pretty F'ing disgusting to me. The lottery was set up because we have a wide range of skill levels and wanted to keep this fun and reasonable for all.

So much for short and to the point - Again, Entry fees 1000+400 are non negotiable.

PS: I went all-in against SteamTyme (if I remember correctly) with 55 against KQ after flop. King was already dealt on the table along with the pair of sixes. I knew that hand, played with same hole and flop cards before and I was sure another 5 gonna dealt on the river and that so happened. I didn't check SwC's RNG yet but it may be possible that combination of cards repeat. It may be mere co-incidence but I will have a look into that.
Please make that same play every time. I'll happily be your guinea pig; you have used up your 8%  Wink
376  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 06, 2020, 07:13:16 AM
Those who didn't pay 400 chips fee (like me) shouldn't get points!

As much as it directly benefits me I'm okay with being lenient on late payers, especially if you are a reg who got passwords.

I would say it's probably best to payup as soon as you realise the mistake. That or early so as to make things easier on efi.

Oh yeah stats have been updated for a few hours.

I am seriously considering setting 0 delay.  Cheesy
Please no you are fun to watch but at 0 delay no one can watch in good concience.

See everyone in a little under 2 hours. Be warned I shook out all my bad luck last night - Took a few bullets but I might finally be able to hold when ahead. Tongue
378  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 03, 2020, 06:42:37 PM
that if there wasn't any luck involved...  Cool
ROFL. I love it... If we were playing who's card is highest I would wipe the floor with you guys. I tried playing this with a dude last night. He was jamming more often that Globb0  Wink , so in the gross spot of me in 3rd facing down 4th out of 38 remaining I called him down, turns out AKoff, is no good against 97off.

Not touching your bet with a 10 foot pole. Gut feeling is efi is done being the teased one and will do anything to get points in all of the remaining qualifiers.

Hopefully see everyone tomorrow at the tables

No worries. No offence taken just wanted to update everyone. Bonus was we all got some pretty stats and updates.

See everyone Sunday I believe. House full of sickies this week, nothing serious so we'll see how my time gets divided lol

Lol spreadsheet points are fine. My time is stupid limited this week, i managed a few minutes just to put placing in last night.

I'll adjust positions tonight when i snag a few minutes. Sorry folks, just a lot of long days at work this week, and was playing from the highway on Sunday.
