Was it China or Russia that they say companies had a direct phone line to the communist government and the government would simply ring it if they are going out of line or something.

This is just basically what many people have been talking about. The CCP have no check and balance and very little input from the public. If America can act badly even with these restraints, just imagine what an unhindered "emperor" would do (Xi purged the party and removed term limits).

Honestly I'd assume both.

Both countries operate in this very weird sphere where capitalism is allowed, but only if you're willing to work with the government in question. If not, you're going to be arrested (on some random crime) and removed from power. Then you'd be replaced with someone who is willing to work within the confines of the government.

Horrible, but that's the system they've built over there.

I would rather call this bureaucratic capitalism where the high ranking bureaucratic officers be the true top capitalists.

Besides: Communist Party in Russia has been out of office since year 1991. Calling Vladimir Putin's govt a communist one looks quite odd.

While Russia certainly is no longer socially Communist, it certainly does retain some of its former Communist economic traits such as state owned corporations.
3663  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump made a surprise conference: God chose me to fight the "war" with China on: August 29, 2019, 12:50:25 AM
Trump may not be an ordinary person! He keeps linking his power or understand to God and I believe he is some one that has strong faith in God. The trade war is actually going to affect many things on both China and America economic and it might actually spill over to other continents.

Perhaps it is as you say. But Trump is simply talking gracefully. He has his reasons for not coming right out and exposing the fact that many of the previous Presidents were essentially American traitors... wolves in sheeps' clothing... because they were attempting to build the one-world government rather than build America as they should have been doing.

Cool

People would need to be eased into the idea or else it could cause mass panic and chaos. This is 90% of the reason "conspiracies" are suppressed, to maintain the status quo.

Not what I said.

So you're reporting some posts that you think shouldn't be deleted? Wasting moderator's time?

Because the other meaning of your statement would be that the forum is conspiring to silence you, despite your ability to create any number of self-modded threads and post any shit you want. You can't be that dumb, can you?

Yes, keep pretending as if your dumb semantic game where you speak for me worked and keep doubling down. It is a good look for you talking to yourself.

Talking about high states:

World's Largest Electric Vehicle is a Dump Truck That Doesn't Even Need to Be Plugged in ...

This dump truck is the largest electric vehicle in the world—and since it generates all the electricity that it needs for transportation, it does not even need to be manually recharged.

The Elekto Dumper—also known as the eDumper—is a 45-ton construction vehicle which is used to transport limestone and rock from Swiss mountaintops.

The vehicle works by ascending steep inclines with an empty cargo. Once it is loaded with up to 65 tons of ore, it uses a "regenerative braking system" to capture all of the energy that is created by traveling downhill so that it can completely power itself for its next uphill journey.

LOOK: Hyundai Launches First Car With Solar Roof Charging System

Kuhn Schweitz, the German manufacturing company responsible for creating the eDumper, says that by making an average of 20 trips up and down a mountain every day, the trucks are able to generate more than 200 kilowatt hours of surplus energy daily, or 77 megawatt-hours per year.

Collectively, the trucks have already saved an estimated 76,000 liters of diesel fuel and 200 tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere since it was unveiled in April. Researchers estimate that the vehicles will continue to save up to 1,300 tons of CO2 and 500,000 liters of diesel over the course of the next ten years.

"This is pure magic," Formula E driver Lucas di Grassi told CNN after being introduced to the trucks. "That's the real-world application of EV. Making it cheaper, more efficient and greener."

Watch the video.

Cool

That's pretty neat. I doubt it can be scaled down to commuter vehicles but still it is a step in the right direction.

Now if he did this EVERY time that would be quite obvious now wouldn't it?

It would be quite obviously ridiculous if a moderator deleted EVERY post that you report.

Maybe you should ask theymos to create a nutjob board and appoint you as its moderator.

Not what I said. I have no responsibility to defend retarded claims you make on my behalf as if I actually said them.
3668  Other / Meta / Re: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE: FLYING HELLFISH - SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT AND CENSORSHIP on: August 27, 2019, 06:44:46 PM
Of course you would approve of his moderation, he is a self proclaimed Communist like you, and he covers for those he agrees with. This is all documented in my OP, speaking of proof.

He covers me by deleting my posts when they're off topic? Oo

Just because he occasionally does his job doesn't mean he also doesn't selectively enforce. Now if he did this EVERY time that would be quite obvious now wouldn't it? Also the fact is your posts are mostly composed of shit anyway as we can see here.

I'm fucking quoting your own article right in my post xD
If you don't want to answer just don't you know

Too bad you aren't intelligent enough to quote correctly. Also reading the article first helps, I still doubt you have, because if you did you would see your point contradicted several times. Also, the statement you made that I was referring to was referring to your original post, which was not a quote. You can't even manage to figure out how to read these short forum posts let alone an article.
ahahahah xD
It's insane, you took so much energy explaining me how dumb/lazy/stupid I am and still haven't explained how the child can be considered emancipated and not emancipated at the same time. I guess it's a difference between authorithy level but I won't know as you just want to insult inferior beings like myself rather than explain your shit.

Sorry I bothered you xD

Actually that is the very first thing I did was make clear they did not do due process. Again, this is why I have zero respect for you as you accuse me of exactly what you do.

The "child" was 17 years old and was granted the emancipated status. I get that the mother didn't like that but that's the case of most parents whose child are granted emancipation status.

If someone is granted emancipation it means he's free to do whatever he wants without referring to his parents no? Unless emancipation is a different legal status in US of course, I don't know anything about this status in other country! Smiley

No. Learn to read. The required due process through the court was not completed. The school just unilaterally declared it so.
3670  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mother Forcing Chemical Castration & Gender Reassignment of 6 Year Old Boy In TX on: August 27, 2019, 02:36:10 PM
You didn't just ask a question. You made a statement as if it were fact. This is a statement you would not have made if you even bothered reading the article, which you didn't. If you don't like me being "a dick", maybe don't be so fucking lazy and self assured. Emancipation requires a court process, it can not just be unilaterally declared.

I'm fucking quoting your own article right in my post xD

Amazing, I didn't think you could fit any more clowns in that clown car. Here to take retribution after I called out your pathetic attempt at using a sock m0gliE? This just a pathetic collection of children that feel they need revenge for making them feel stupid because they can't effectively argue their beliefs, so they desperately need to prevent their opponents from speaking by any means possible. Sorry little girls, emotion is not equivalent to logic.

Amazing how you say "call out" when you just said something without the begining of a proof but for you it's ok you've proven your point xD

I'm just here to defend FH moderation policies. Seems logical to me that if 2 dickheads are attacking someone publicly, someone can come to defend this person publicly.

Of course you would approve of his moderation, he is a self proclaimed Communist like you, and he covers for those he agrees with. This is all documented in my OP, speaking of proof.

Of course even when someone is politely asking you something stating they don't know much about the official process you have to be a dickhead don't you?

"“Unbelievably, Minnesota statutes authorize a county to deem a minor ‘emancipated’ to receive welfare payments to live on their own and allow medical providers to void parental input if it determines the minor is living apart from the parents and is managing personal financial affairs,” said Kaardal."

Doesn't it mean that they had the right to do so? That's how I understand the sentence.

You didn't just ask a question. You made a statement as if it were fact. This is a statement you would not have made if you even bothered reading the article, which you didn't. I noticed several of the posters here suffer under the delusion that US money laundering laws have to make any logical or logistical sense. They don't. They can and will start rejecting deposits from certain addresses, and to some degree already have.

You are doing a fine job of keeping people from accusing theymos of running a forum biased towards his own political beliefs.  That is all.  As a mod you are fucking terrible.

Just popping by for this sentence. Not going to swim in all the previous crap as discussing with TECSHARE is like discussing with a 3 years old child, after a moment you should understand he has no ability for logic and thus you can't discuss with him as he'll change the rules of debate as he sees fit.

So just wanted to say that P&S is certainly the most difficult section to moderate as it contains only 3% facts and 97% of beliefs and opinions mostly on sensible subjects. I've found FH to be fairly consistent in his moderation policy: you're off topic you get deleted, you're in topic you don't get deleted. As simple as that.

I've seen about a dozen of posts of mine deleted mainly when I tried to discuss against TECHSARE and to explain things to him because even if cries like a little bitch against censorship he's not the last to report a post to get it deleted. And I'm 10000 times politically closer to FH. So no his "censorship" is not selective.

Even though I'm sure he appreciates more deleting a stupid "white men are victims shut up snowflakes" post than a post trying to explain the difference between communism and dictatorship.

Actually I meant DSM. Its been a while. But look, I think I found it right off the bat.

Quote
301.0. Paranoid personality disorder

Paranoid personality disorder is characterized by a pervasive distrust of others, including even friends, family, and partners. As a result, this person is guarded, suspicious, and constantly on the lookout for clues or suggestions to validate his fears. He also has a strong sense of personal rights: He is overly sensitive to setbacks and rebuffs, easily feels shame and humiliation, and persistently bears grudges. Unsurprisingly, he tends to withdraw from others and to struggle with building close relationships. The principal ego defense in paranoid PD is projection, which involves attributing one’s unacceptable thoughts and feelings to other people.

This is pretty much you to a (low) T.

Honestly the best treatment for this is probably to spend more time on 8chan and buy more guns.

Here's a more thorough wording of what Paranoid personality disorder is. Its amazing how much of this fits you.

If you are going to try to look cool by using reference material above your pay grade, at least find the right book. See everyone? This is about my politics, not about Flying Hellfish.
3680  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump should raise tariffs to 50% on: August 25, 2019, 08:35:55 PM
President Trump should raise tariffs to 50% on every Chinese piece of shit imported to this country.  He should also raise Taxes to U.S. Companies that use Chinese slave labor to build their merchandise.

Fuck the Chinese Government.

I dont think that our president will raise tariffs to 50% as many of US companies are making huge profits using chinese cheap slaves. Many corporations will do all their best for not letting the tariffs. But China becomes stronger every day and sooner or later US government have to do something with it.

That is kind of the point of the tariffs, without some kind of control other nations will not be able to compete with what essentially amounts to as Chinese slave labor. That means the workforce in the US and other nations have the buying power of their own labor reduced in the process ultimately leaving us all in that state. China artificially boosts tons of state run companies. There is no way to compete with this in an open market without some kind of restriction, and tariffs serve that purpose.
