Well first good idea starting small I did the same with s5's last June. What I found though is that these have had many hard years of abuse. The best thing you can do is monitor your temperatures and see if maybe things aren't getting to hot causing it to shutdown. You can also remove the casing and look for anything that appears loose or faulty. I did notice a bit of dust to, no where near as much as mine came with but it might benefit from a good cleaning

I haven't had a power outage since I started mining; but as long as It's just a loss of power there should be no problem. That's no different than turning off the power supply.
If you are home when it happens I would unplug it as a precaution for when power is restored to make sure the grid is stable to avoid a bunch of on/off cycles.
Surge protectors are a nice safety net in unstable grids as well, I use a whole home protector at my panel just for peace of mind

Has someone an ''easy trick'', or rule of thumb to roughly calculate the real payout time remaining , after that the stupid green/blue bar reached 100% ?
thank you.
If you are referring to the "% to payout" bar. Once it is full you should have reached the payout threshold you have set for your account. This usually pays out automatically within a couple hours. One time I noticed it hadn't paid out in over a day so I sent them an email and it was sorted out 2 hours later

With this number you need to channel Douglas Adams through his "DEEP THOUGHT" access link; any and all answers will be relevant but won't make sense. Good luck to all the tinfoil hat club

You should open a scam accusation thread with all of your relevant information. That way some senior members might see it and tag op and his alts accordingly.

Good planning of the space will usually help. The rest is accomplished by cable ties or use some electrical tape/velcro it's easier to remove if you need to make adjustments

As long as they are not getting extremely hot you should be okay.
Electricity generates heat no matter what so warm shouldn't be a problem. Honestly I don't really check mine unless I get a tripped breaker. If your confident enough you could open up the panel and look for signs of wear/burning

Sorry for the late info; been busy here is a screenshot of payment via paypal and refunds, as well as a link describing my experience. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2928797.msg30567418#msg30567418https://imgur.com/0Dam2PFSorry I can't get more pictures up at the moment. This shows the payments beginning and the subsequent refunds. In the end all funds were refunded. After the first full payment a refund was sent and 3 smaller invoices were issued to, in theory remove the hold on funds Paypal had in place. In the end Paypal never released the funds and I had to file a dispute due to lack of communication from OP. All pricing and funds for my order were dealt with in CAD, not sure how everyone else got priced or if the numbers matched up. Post if anyone needs or wants further information; I am going to be on vacay for the next week so it will not bee until then. I did save some emails and pm's. I will note that the paypal name appeared as Cliffstudio and the email was cliffstudiotw@gmail.com

Hey There,
Have you tried swapping out your riser/ and or the Molex connector to see if it is defective.
Just wondering did you mean you can't connect the pcie to the card itself?
Also this belongs in the alt coin section;mods will move it
|
|
|
Did you test and benchmark your cards before making any of the adjustments/mods you made?
One thing I ran I to this week with my first rig was changing the cards from graphics to compute in the and settings. I was only getting 17 MH out of my cards then went up to 24.7 after that. I have 570's.
Also sometimes you need to go back and start from scratch and change things one at a time to monitor the results you get.
Sidenote you are in the bitcoin section, I've reported to mods and they will move it to altcoins Good luck

Hey there, First off I'm super green with GPU mining.
I just set up my first rig and was experiencing something similar. My issue was that I forgot to switch settings from graphics to compute. I had to do this for each card in the RADEON settings app.
Good luck

Unless it becomes a problem where it starts to happen a couple times a day it's a real non issue.
I think mine had done it 2 times in the last 3 months. Everytime it restarts and goes about it's business.
I got worried the first time because I got a pool notification, and by the time I got to my setup everything was fine. So I stopped worrying about it.

If I get a chance this evening I'll post what inhale to the accusation thread

I don't know the details of anyone's orders. I know with mine he did have a few offers/compromises that had the potential to void my PayPal protection at least in part.
If you look back in his posts which is something I did he had one where he mentions to someone the scenario of running away with PayPal released funds before a claim is filed; but states he wouldn't do that.
The reason he did not make off with any money on my deal was the amount of money involved was held and not released by PayPal. I also did not mess around with his lack of communication, 3 days with nothing and bam filed a dispute.
Good luck to everyone I hope it was all done through PayPal or trusted escrow. He may have gotten some money if they did not hold all amounts on his account, but atleast the buyer would be protected.

What’s the risk of not doing so immediately? I’m not too familiar with PayPal scams, was under the impression you had 180 days buyer protection? There is no risk in waiting a few days to file a claim. You will only have an issue if you already made a mistake (paying in 2 payments for 1 item, send it via friends and family) When I filled mine I was using it as a tool to force action on the sellers part. He responded within hours of the claim; then took offence ( even though the dispute/claim can be cancelled if he just fulfilled his end of the deal) So all you are down to is losing time.

I'd like to officially withdraw my interest in even knowing what price you'd say for motherboards. It seems to only make sense if I wait to even discuss anything, because at this point it seems as though there are many people that have placed orders. All I can do is wait to see how they turn out; a few people are claiming to have tracking numbers, but they have not shipped yet and were told they would ship Friday. I would say if there is no movement on the tracking number by Monday, and you have not heard from the seller a good reason why, then I personally would begin the dispute process; better sooner than later.
I hope I hear good outcomes, please everyone that has posted their orders publicly keep us updated or I am to assume that your orders are going well.
Story sounds pretty familiar. Glad I posted my experience; I hope it helped people stay on the right side of buyer protection. With any luck everyone lost the same thing I did... time.
