I personally know that your numbers are complete BS, so stop trying to sound sincere . You are full of Shit.
1. Canaan has authorized distributors, yes there are resellers but the stock will be available through distributors first.
2. They have not announced when these units will be available yet.
3. SCAM
Canaan is releasing the data on the A8 series on December 20th. Please wait before buying anywhere

Glad it's working out for you, if you do have any extra connectors hanging out that's fine, just remember they are essentially live DC circuits if something closes the connection.
Enjoy your Avalon.

I was able to accelerate your transaction using VIABTC, it should appear in their next block.
|
|
|
I was browsing the website and noticed that they have started a Forum described as an Avalon Miner community. This might be another helpful place to look in the future if you have issues or are looking to help people.

Post the transaction ID, have you tried to accelerate it using VIABTC's transaction accelerator. It is free, you just have to make sure you do it as soon as the hour rolls over because they only accept 100 an hour

I don't know what is going on exactly, you might not be using a high enough fee. Have you tried using the free accelerator at VIABTC, it's what I use when I need to move one along. You have to be quick and do it as soon as the hour switches over.

Thank you, for the campaign and prompt payment. I am on page 9 of your InsurPal campaign if you'd like to work together again.

Can you take some photos? Just to clear a few things up, you have each Avalon running off of 1 PSU. You have all 6 PCIE connections made properly with the Avalon and your PSU. What colour lights are you getting on the Avalon units? on the AUC3 Converter. It sounds like you have been able to access the controller, have you input your pool settings so that the Miners will get work? Are you saving all changes once they have been made? Are all set up cables connected properly, From the controller USB to micro USB connecting to the AUC3 converter. 5 pin cable from AUC3 converter to the Miner on the left side. Try one miner at a time while trouble shooting. What is the size of the breaker for this dedicated circuit because at 110 (125 based on your readings) you will be pulling 9.2 amps when the miner is running so you would need 2 separate 15 Amp circuits to support 2 Avalon 741's This thread also has a lot of 741 users who help with trouble shooting https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1673843.0

Where in Canada, may be able to pick up in person. How long have you been mining with the rig?
|
|
|
1. This had been posted in the wrong place. There is a marketplace section on the forum.
2. Canaan and there distributors haven't even released the specs yet. They are coming out on Dec. 20th.
3. The numbers and specs you have floated out there do not match with the small amount of leaked info that is currently on their website.
4. Until HaggsFin posts either his review or specs he's allowed to speculate on, or Canaan posts the specs, You are talking out of your ass. ( I mention Haggs, as I saw him post about being on a list for reviewers)
5. There are official distributors that people should wait to try and order from before some random reseller with a pay part now scheme.
Do not send this person any money

Your story is from 2013, there are large businesses in Canada built completely around bitcoin; some of which have received government grants. When searching the internet try and look at the date of Information you are reading.

I was more if the opinion, that they could impose higher fees if they chose to for miner operations or for exchanges. It's just one of those things where now they can pick apart how you use your internet and set special rates should they chose to Just wanted to see if anyone thinks this is going to negatively impact their mining operation.
I understand that the usage of miners is pretty small overall, so I figured it was more a factor for a large scale opertion.
This question might be better suited for the Mining speculation forum. Good point I'll see if the mods can move it for me. I'm not sure how

Hey I saw your post in the Dragonmint thread. Did you have a 2nd 741 fail? Or was that before you started this thread?
What went wrong? If you know

Here is the read before posting post that gives you the rundown. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2415854.0Read the beginner help section off the main page. And any Google search try only reading pages from 2016/2017. As with any technology the newer the I formation the more relevant it will be.

That would be better than what I was thinking. That unit came ouT before I got I to mining so I never really considered more of a packaged unit, not so much integrated. If that's the case it looks like you could swap in any PSU if the original fails; which would be a nice safety net to have.
|
|

Assuming you could buy spare power boards from them, it might not be too bad.
You could keep a stock of 10-15% of them, and replace them as needed... While one is getting warranty service, you swap in the spare.
Plus to be honest the failure modes of most power supplies are what - capacitor failures?
I can repair that myself.
Unfortunately not everyone can repair that. I can wire up any outlet or circuit I need and spec out the equipment to run a miner, but if it comes to the internals I would be SOL. The upside is any dealing I've had with them as far as warranty has been good. I also imagine they've done whatever they can to try and maintain the same quality and reliability their name is built on. Either way I just want some hard and fast specs and timelines lol

That is hilarious. I feel like someone is just sitting there revelling in this, waiting to post 1 smidgen of Info at a time... do I tell them the power consumption, or tease them with the first digit of the hashrate. Haha,
Just excited to see some info coming out.
EDIT: I just read through it more closely, and must say I was surprised they are integrating the PSU on these units. Atleast there won't be 100 questions about power supplies, and 50 rebuys for a proper one
