4061  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: beginner help on: December 13, 2017, 01:55:13 AM
Research your hardware.
Make sure you plan properly for power supplies, outlets and PDU'S if needed.
Then research things like exhausting the heat. If you look for that information you should be able to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Also check the hardware thread for the s9 there will be all sorts of info about running them.

Same here im newbie for using a bitcointalk i hope your waste your time in answer the question to many thread in bitcointalk and then your activity will increase 14 within 2weeks i hope i help you and help us to learn more how to use and hot to get.  Smiley

This is useless my advice make sure you are contributing to the OP's topic or you will be labelled a shitposter
4062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Starting Ethereum mining on: December 13, 2017, 01:44:05 AM
Hey you will find some helpful information in the alt coin forum. If you scroll down a bit on the main page you will see the heading alt coin mining.

This is just for bitcoin mining.

Good luck
4063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Should I start? Heres my specs! on: December 12, 2017, 10:35:59 PM
Here is the alt coin section link this is where GPU mining is still profitable. The mods will move this post for you.

4064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Who can I pay to process a stuck transaction? on: December 12, 2017, 09:08:13 PM
I used Bitcoin QT to send Bitcoin with a fee that is too small. It's gotten no confirmations since 12/8/17.

The menu option "Increase transaction fee" is greyed out. And I don't want to hack or abandon the transaction.

The simpler solution, I would think, would be to add a bounty to the transaction seperately. (I have other Bitcoin.)

Is this possible?

Is there a better solution?

(The transaction is: 1NiUZqX8UkUAqYT9Y239U6HgehizFSUk1d)

That's the address you need to provide the transaction. I was going to accelerate it for you and I realised it to late.

I do it through a free service viabtc accelerator. You have to be quick as soon as the hour switches over

Also the only transactions I see leaving the address has 18 confirmatiins.
4065  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: OFFICIAL CGMINER mining software thread for linux/win/osx/mips/arm/r-pi 4.10.0 on: December 12, 2017, 04:07:21 AM
Hi,
Just trying to learn more about my API log. What do the CRC  numbers mean? Is there a list of what everything means in the log? I have the basics down but wouldn't mind figuring out more.
Thanks
4066  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitcoin.com Pool, 120% PPS on: December 12, 2017, 03:18:33 AM
I mined here when I first started, and it definitely had everything to do with the bonus payment that they had listed. Sometimes they drop it all together because they say it is getting to expensive. They also recently went to a 2% pool fee on BCH and were going to do the same for BTC until everyone blasted them in their forum.
When I gained a bit more knowledge and realised they pocket all the miner fees, it was quite obvious I could so better elsewhere.
I can understand if you want the steady PPS  payment but you can do better on other pools that pay miner fees. Kano pool is nice and I would go back in the future I just needed to maintain a more consistent payout structure; but I jumped ship early as they have been doing quite nice for themselves lately
4067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hardware Newbie Question! (sorry) on: December 11, 2017, 05:49:48 PM
There is a lot of Info if you read through the forum, here is an into from a mod regarding bitcoin mining

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2415854.0

If you aren't going to upgrade to an asic machine you will only be able to mine alt coins with your GPUS  which can still be profitable.
Just scroll down the main page a bit and read up on the alt coin mining section
4068  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New Avalon 741 dead fan on: December 11, 2017, 03:02:25 PM
On startup they usually ramp up to 100 then go to idle and slowly work their way up to full hashrate over the next 5-10 minutes.

Did you try just running it normal before adjusting the fan configuration?

You should post in the main Avalon 7 thread there are a lot of people who monitor it to help with troubleshooting. Give your details, maybe some snaps of your api logs.
Also the info on your temperatures.

4069  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New Avalon 741 dead fan on: December 11, 2017, 04:28:33 AM
Can you confirm the way the fan is moving air. There have been a few that were mounted backwards. The fan should pull the air through the unit and discharge on the side the fan is mounted.
4070  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: December 11, 2017, 01:45:28 AM
I did ask that guy from Facebook if he's a member here and whether or not he plans to review it in the forum.
I had to laugh he seemed pretty defensive with some of the questions he was getting. I'll update if he gives me any info.

If it all pans out the additional competition in the market would be nice.
4071  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [150+ PH] SlushPool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: December 10, 2017, 04:00:05 PM
Woah! 5 blocks in a row in less than 3mins! Slush is on a spree!

I had to look twice when I logged in, that was a solid 18 minute run there, been a good morning so far.

I'm definitely glad I switched over to slush a couple weeks ago.
4072  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What size of Air Duct will fit in the Avalon 741 black shroud fan? on: December 10, 2017, 02:55:27 PM
If you do use some of that ducting make sure you oversize it; if it's a long run you might need an inline fan. The ducting creates a restriction that will force your fan to work harder. The longer the run the higher the restriction, and it only gets worse with every bend.

Depending on your plans this thread has some ideas.

I would really appreciate it, if you can accelerate this transaction

thanks mate!

I got it into the accelerator. You should see it in the next viabtc block.

It looks like most people's transactions have been processed.
4074  Economy / Speculation / Re: ⛔️⛔️⛔️ Is It Time To Cash Out The Profits? ⛔️⛔️⛔️ on: December 10, 2017, 04:49:20 AM
I've been steadily cashing out. It's been great I've only been a miner a little over 6 months and didn't expect these roi's  and profits for atleast another 6 months to a year.

When it peaked the other day I even pulled out the amount I had been saving up from tips and sig campaigns.
Its good for the crypto indstry, altcoins were declined too hell due to that price rise.

I've noticed coins like LTC hit a nice little bump, I bought one a few days back and sold it today.

Just the natural order buy something on a dip, and when things perk up let'er  rip... to get poetic.

Does anyone know where you can find replacement  AUC3 I2C 5PIN Cable for the 741. Or even an option that would be a little longer?

4079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Rig won't power on when GPUs are connected. on: December 08, 2017, 10:00:32 PM
Hey there, the right place for this would be in alt coins. That's where you will find everyone who uses gpu's to mine. This section is just for bitcoin mining topics.
4080  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Would you bet the farm on aluminum wire? on: December 08, 2017, 02:59:38 PM
Sounds like the same ones I picked up, or atleast similar. I just remember hunting eBay, and finding so many that were close bit not quite right. Well good luck and happy mining.
