Hey guys, Ordered 2 Avalons 741 from Miner Warez for the batch shipping Nov 06. Got some money again so now I'm thinking ordering a couple more for the one shipping Nov 20. Do any of you bought from Miner Warez before? Is the site reliable? What do you think? Also: Come on blooocks! The site is reliable, there is a thread in Hardware dedicated to them as a distributor https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2277516.0

Okay, and what colour are the lights on the back of the miner, and on the AUC3?

I previously imported few miner PSUs from China to Bulgaria(EU) with DHL. All of the additional documents I had to provide for the customs clearance were arranged between me and the local office of DHL after they made a call to me to give me the options. That's why now I'm curious do I have to provide any additional document to minerwarez or this will be arranged between me and my local office of FedEx when my miners come to Bulgaria. Why do they want BOL, customs paperwork or any other necessary documents if they(minerwarez) actually does not provide customs clearance? It is done by FedEx(eventually). From what I've gathered so far, you would do just that. Arrange everything with your local FedEx office. Once they tell you all the forms required for shipping and you get them filled out, you have to send the shipping and clearance documents to Minerwarez through that email. [/quote] Does this mean if I order a miner I declare what the value of the item is?
Yes that is what you need to declare for the item entering your country. That is what customs will look into as you pay tax and duty and items imported.

Did you check all your cable connections in the back? Did you confirm the lights on the hashboards?
How long did you let it run when you first hooked it up, it's needs some time to ramp up.
I also noticed that even in your 45 second shot, that your GHSasc, was 1600+ which still isn't where it should be but that is indicative of it ramping up. I'm pretty sure that corresponds to your hash rate for that machine.
Did you try and run it on any other pools?

I have not been in the game long, but I use QuadrigaCX. They are a Canadian company.
If I am not mistaken you only need to be verified if you plan to Fund your account with Fiat currency (USD/CAD)
Feel free to PM me if you want any more info, I can tell you what I know.

2300W / 220 V = 10.45 A 2 machines
1150W / 110 V = 10.45 A 1 machine
Your thought process definitely checks out, I didn't even think about that.
In regards to panel space, it really works out to 1 breaker space per Miner, maybe more depending on what size of breakers you use, your panel capacity and how you ultimately decide to distribute your power.
I'm no expert by any means; and do not mine anywhere near the scale that you are planning on setting up. Like I said if you PM me your info, including how many Miners you are setting up and and what your location has for power currently run to the site, I can try and put you in touch with the people who made my PSU's. They sell some through ebay, but do a large part of their business directly with large Data centers. They are based in the Us out of Oregon I believe.

I was watching the videos, and wasn't sure if I missed something.
What do you have on top of your Avalons between them and the Psu's.
Thanks, I'm buliding a similar box in my basement.

If you read the thread I posted, they all acknowledge it is a Ponzi scheme and that they are rolling the dice on their short term small investments to be the first few who make a profit.
Beyond this, do as you will with your money. Feel free to invest and reinvest.

You can't cloud mine for free, no one is going to just send you BTC, while they pay for and run the equipment.
I don't cloud mine but if you find a reputable site you pay them a certain amount per TH/s, plus a daily fee and they then send you your earned BTC.
From what I've seen these don't always turn a profit, some can, but the volatility of the market combined with your intro fees, might never realize a profit.

Glad to hear everything worked out for you.

If you PM me your email, I can try and get you in touch with Amitylabs, they produce high quality PSU's.
Their only presence is an ebay store, and commercial customers they have dealt with previously.
I will email them and provide them with your contact info, Please also provide me with what you are needing as far as total number of PSU's. Also do you positively not want any 220V?

Wow, that's a long way to a window.
I would probably combine #1 and #3.
I would go with atleast a 6" duct with a fan at the window, so you have the S9 fans exhausting into the duct, and the exhaust fan drawing from the duct. Try to minimize bends and turns as they make the fans work harder
You will need to play around with what works and what doesn't, having free electricity will help offset your costs in ducting and buying exhaust fans.
Again though I would search the forum, as there are tons of people on here who have posted good ideas in regards this

It depends on your country, what I was doing was checking in with customs office in Canada to see what forms I need to get together to import something. Every country has different forms and rules for bringing items in; I'm pretty sure that's why they've changed the model for international shipping. You can also ask the shipping company you plan on using what you need, I've been speaking with FedEx, as that's how my other orders were shipped.
If they sent you an order previously, you could always ask their support line what forms they had to fill out to ship to you, just provide them with your order number. I have found lately they take 2-3 days to reply by email.

I can't say for sure, but it sounds pretty scammy, I did go look at their page and saw that they will take paypal, but that doesn't mean they are legit.
Another flag for me is that they say for that price they will ship anywhere in the world for free. If you are set on getting a bitmain product you should probably just wait to order of their site.

You might find someone here who has gone through this, but if you check the government website where you are shipping, they usually tell you what you need to account for as far as Taxes and Duty.

You will need to exhaust the heat in some way, the duct you are showing will be to small, as the piping restrictions will be to great to overcome.
Can you set up an exhaust fan in the window attached to ducting run to the room, to remove the heat? It doesn't necessarily need to be attached directly to the miner.
Either way you will need to get the hot air out of that room or it will overheat.
Dig around the forum a little and you will easily find this topic covered many times.

I figured I would start a topic specifically for the Distributor as they will be around for a while. The goal being maybe a REP will monitor this thread; no guarantees. As of today they are currently selling New Avalon 741's shipping out on November 20th. Personally I have had several orders processed with them and they have all gone smooth. My first was with Paypal; that option has disapeared but they still take credit card which is all I needed for my other orders. The last one for November 6th shipping was a bit more difficult as they now require anyone outside the US to make the shipping arrangements; but they have been helpful in directing me in what I need to do on my end as I haven't done this before. Here is the link to their website. https://minerwarez.com/

FYI Miner Warez appears to be taking orders on 741's
Woot, I got one! What kind of Power Supply do I need to purchase? There is a thread in the hardware section that covers everything. My personal preference has been to order units from Amitylabs out of the US through there ebay store.
