461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~MMOs ~Poker ~ 20+ Servers~ShapeShift.io ~RPG +More! on: March 22, 2017, 06:26:05 AM
What about coins that are on dknight2? All of mine are there and are currently tied up (inaccessible) at the moment.

Once the swap begins the only thing players in DKV will have to do to receive the new HYPER would be to download the new wallet and update their HYPER withdrawal address in game. I will take care of everything else so you guys don't have to worry about anything. I'll send out a mass mail with information regarding the upcoming changes and provide safe download links from my server for the new wallet and source code.

If someone would like to create a github page for the new HYPER version and upload everything there when it is released that would be great and I can link to that as well.

Some more info on things as I want to be as open as possible with everyone,

For the swap, I will have all of the new HYPER sent to one address which will be the swap fund where all claims will be taken out of. All transactions will be recorded via the swap page, the new block explorer that is coming, and by cryptoid's block explorer if it is still up and running. Any funds left in that wallet once the swap period ends will be sent to the new dev fund managers when they are chosen by the community if this hasn't been done beforehand. This will also include the remaining Bitcoin funds that I am currently holding.

Currently DKV holds roughly 315k HYPER, of which only about 42k of that is owned by myself. My goal is to make this transition as easy and as simple as I can for people.

For the exchanges, I will send them an email containing the new wallet software and instructions on how to perform the swap so they can trade in their existing HYPER for the new version and update their wallets. If someone could go around to each exchange and find out if they charge for this update it would be really appreciated so we can prepare for it.

We're having issues with the new wallet though as a last minute bug was found so it is still delayed a bit. This has been a real pain in my ass but I am trying my best to get this done as soon as possible.

If anyone would like to inquire about any information I may have missed or haven't touched upon yet feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer it.

Thanks for the solid response! No issues on the delay -- better to do everything right than wish it had been.

Side question now regarding the new coin. Will dknight allow for on-site staking again once this is released, or do we need to withdraw to our personal wallets? Referring to the "vault" system.
462  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Unofficial] Exodus Wallet | Multi-Currency | Built-in Exchange on: March 22, 2017, 04:19:04 AM
This project looks REALLY nice! Are you able to choose your own fees, or how are they calculated? And does it have a way to "send all" (where it will figure out the max you can send after fees and automatically pick that amount)?
463  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Humans of TOR - Earn 0.01 BTC for Telling Your Deep Web Story on: March 22, 2017, 04:12:26 AM
of course there will be many lies in there

This was my first thought exactly... to get it to be viewed as having "value," people are going to embellish or make up stories in an attempt to make money.

Yeah that would be the result since surely many people will make their own untrue stories so that they can earn more money from this and i think  site owners should do some deeply reading so that they can  determine if the stories are true and not been a product of someone's fantasy. But anyways i think also that dev will accept some fiction if the stories written is good and able to make the heart pumps on those who read it.

You really can't decipher what's true and isn't, though. There are some far out stories that end up being true, and others that aren't as far fetched that are fake. I don't think there's really any way to "verify" things. I'd say it's akin to /r/nosleep, where the premise is that things are all "true" but it's obvious that most aren't.
464  Economy / Services / Re: [Bot] Automatic Signature Campaign Manager on: March 22, 2017, 04:10:17 AM
How can a bot separate a "good quality post" from a "bad quality post" ? Ignore the message if your bot is using NLP and advanced AI concepts to perform the analysis. It's sort of a big achievement if a bot does that  successfully.I will be curious to look at the code.

I was under the impression that part wouldn't be automated, and would instead just pick random posts for you to view and analyze. Most people's quality remains fairly static (meaning they are either good or bad posters).

Awesome pricing here! Any chance you'll get into things like VPS later as well? Saw the "we're considering expanding" section, Smiley.
468  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If you have 10 BTC = Approx $10,000, where would you invest for 1% monthly? on: March 21, 2017, 06:37:24 AM
Hello, recently i found out freebitco.in is offering 4% per annum

Other than cloud hash mining, is there any good investment for dividends?

Thanks!

4% per annum is good if you do have bigger amount and higher than $10,000. But the best thing to invest with this amount for me is to diversify it.

Put some of it with casino's maybe 1-3 bitcoins and you could invest with bitdice on it.

And for the remaining one this is what I'm going to do

The best offer is buy home and renting or no invest.

I proved that this is the best thing to invest your money.

If 4%/yr is good when you have $10m, it's good when you have $10. The percentage doesn't magically change.

Also, not sure where you can buy a house for $10k to rent, so this suggestion doesn't work out too well.

470  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Minecraft: Use and earn bitcoin inside the game on: March 05, 2017, 07:46:46 AM
Version to mobile game it will be ever egsist? How much i earn in playing minecraft?More than 1 usd in a day?

Not sure if it still runs but you'd be lucky to get $1 in a day. It paid very, very little. It's not meant to be a profit machine, but to reward you for what you already do. So $0.10 is still $0.10 you didn't have before.

I am trying to understand what benefit are we looking at if we go with this wallet upgrade, with this CPU upgrade?! After an upgrade, we will still be facing with slow startup, longtime blockchain synchronization, staking and overall operational system slowdown glitches, right? Or am I missing something?

Basically, no. The wallet upgrade won't benefit us much outside of having an up to date code base that runs a little smoother. The only way to solve this problem is to create a new coin with an up to date code base and an altered block time to reduce the amount of new blocks, and then do a swap.

This is great, very informative. There is a small mistake in date at your line of upgrade, it happened on 24th December 2016. Anyway, nothing important.

I updated the funding page with links to everyone's profiles. The link and name can be changed if desired. For the error on mine, that's what happens when a lazy person copy/pastes code and forgets to edit part of it lol.

It looks like the TD3K person has sent BTC there at least 4 times. All but 3 of the block explorer payments have been accounted for so far.

I was under the impression the move to a new code base would reduce the exorbitant RAM usage. But I think the best path going forward is to re-do the coin. Make it more efficient, deal with the dev fund, etc. all at once.
472  Economy / Services / Re: Tired of mining bitcoin- try growing marijuana fr bitcoin on: March 01, 2017, 06:07:14 AM
It seems marijuana is legal in your country so if it is going to be sold in your location or to other country where cannabis are legal then it will be okay but I don't know if it is still prohibited to invest to a cannabis farm . It would be a good idea but how sure it is that the payout will be sent as soon as you have sold a some of it and would it be safe for people to invest even if it is illegal to his country ?

I could be wrong in this, but even if it's illegal where you reside, there should be no issues with investing in legal ones. To illustrate, the NYSE has some marijuana businesses, despite not being legal everywhere (and people from other countries can therefore invest in them).
473  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody got password reset email from yobit and pocketdice? on: February 28, 2017, 11:37:10 PM
Also, seriously guys, even if you get an email, DO NOT CLICK A LINK IN IT unless you requested it. Emails can be forged. ALWAYS go to the actual site to initiate changes/log in. They will possibly send an email after that (not sure in this case), and then you'll know it came from them.
474  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying games with bitcoin? on: February 28, 2017, 11:05:00 PM
I think this is possible to buy game with Btc and i have also game to sell via Btc.Why dont use torrent to download game, there are many new game.

indeed, it is possible but we need to find the store that selling games and want to accept bitcoin as the payment and i think there is a few sites that already apply this. torrent might be a good solution to download the games but you need to consider that not all torrent is save from thief and we should to be careful.

if OP wants to buy a game and want to pay with bitcoin, then my advice and maybe it is the best solution that i can think is OP need his friend which have money in his credit card and buy the games, then OP can give his bitcoin to his friend.

I think he's looking for a discount, though, as most are. If he's up for giving the same value in BTC as whatever it is he wants to buy, many people would surely help (and I'd possibly do it myself).
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Janus [JNS] Blockchain secured global business NXT - Ardor on: February 28, 2017, 10:09:47 PM
Just my opinion, C-CEX's Janus value hampers the price significantly. How could you control the pricing on Mar 4 token sale at 3 Nxt each when C-CEX sells below that range? So if that is the case I would rather go to CCEX because it is cheaper.

Individuals can sell at any price they want... this is how a free market works. But once the cheap ones are sold out, you have to get them from the ICO.
476  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ►SteamGamesBTC.com◄Steam Games, Wallet Cards, Huge list on: February 28, 2017, 10:08:31 PM
Are you able to get/discount new releases as well, or just those that you can snag on a quick sale?

Also, HUGE +1 to the transparency on the front page. This is pretty neat, showing the previous sales, txids, etc. I like it!

I saw Carbon Poker on your list of sites... did you do all the design here?

And do you do everything from scratch or just alter existing themes?
478  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitrated: Bringing trust back to Bitcoin on: February 28, 2017, 10:00:26 PM
Adding a layer based on others trust might get broken at any point as human might change time to time.
One of the most frightening thing will be during dispute in trade. The escrow can make some agreement with the seller/buyer and can easily cheat the one party without being noticed by others.

When a dispute arises, the trust agent can intervene, review the case and decide which party to side with — either refunding the payment to the buyer, or releasing it to the seller.

Yeah, this is hard. Look at what happens in places like eBay. Someone sells a computer/laptop and puts bricks in the box to make it about the weight of the real item. When the receiver gets it, how can one prove they were the ones scammed?
479  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying games with bitcoin? on: February 28, 2017, 09:59:01 PM
Are you sure about that? Humble bundle has dropped bitcoin payments months ago and they are no longer accepting it. You can pay there only with paypal, or CC.
Steam on the other hand is accepting bitcoin and buying there is probably the easiest and fastest way to get new games. Only downside is that their prices are usually high, especially compared to discount sites like humble.
Yes, Humble store is not accepting Bitcoins anymore
It saddens me as they were having a very nice sales for just $1, which sometimes was just 10% of what the same games cost on Steam. I'm sure many people were using this option, because all my friends liked it and used it and I hope they will reconsider.

Wow, didn't even know that. Just looked and sure enough, "Bitcoin payments have been disabled for the Humble ARMA Bundle." It must be due to the volatility of Bitcoin or something. It's a safer payment method for sure, but they may be afraid of losing value.

Someone has tryed them?Huh

Wondering the same. Also curious as to if they participate in KYC/AML at all, or if people can just create a new account and get trading without jumping through all the hoops to get confirmed.
