...and of course, Novak Djokovic!
Here are the groups:
Group A (Perth): Spain, Poland, Brazil Group B (Sydney): Canada, Chile, Greece Group C (Perth): Great Britain, USA, Australia Group D (Sydney): Italy, Germany, France Group E (Perth): Czech Republic, China, Serbia Group F (Sydney): Netherlands, Norway, Croatia
Wow, that's an impressive lineup! Looking forward to seeing Angelique Kerber and Alex Zverev in action for Team Germany. The groups also seem competitive, especially with the inclusion of top players like Novak Djokovic. Should be an exciting tournament! Well I'm watching Sonego v Zverev currently, its on serve with some great play so far. Earlier Paolini beat Kerber! Yesterday Spain beat Brazil 2-1 in a doubles decider and interestingly/surprisingly United Kingdom beat Australia 2 -1 without relying on the doubles match. Boulter beat Tomljanovic and Norrie beat de Minaur, would have expected the opposite of both matches. and the Netherlands beat Norway 2-1 with the help of the doubles match. Ruud beat Griekspoor which would be expected.

Now if this BitcoinTalk forum is not allowed to conduct any kind of signature campaign, will everyone be active in this forum as it is now? No one posts here without profit, everyone has a signature code on their account, there are only a handful of people left.
Its only Mixer campaigns which are getting banned, its a decision which has been made, its not a requirement "yet", its like a preemptive decision in order to preserve the forum as an entity. Here is the first paragraph from the announcement. Bitcointalk.org aims to allow about as much freedom as is reasonably possible. But this is not a darknet forum, and with mixers looking "grayer and grayer", it's no longer reasonably possible to allow linking to mixers. Even though "a cryptocurrency mixing service is not necessarily illegal," a clear pattern has emerged where mixers pop up, last for a little while, and then get taken down by law enforcement once they get too big. Allowing mixers to be posted on bitcointalk.org before they seemingly-inevitably get declared illegal and seized is not sustainable. Therefore, promoting mixers will no longer be allowed, similarly to how darknet sites are already disallowed. As regards the altcointalk forum and people switching their activity to that maybe these scenarios will happen: a.) Only a minority will move their activity and there wont be a "brain drain" to affect BCT because most of the top quality posters will remain here. b.) Because of point a. above those who initially move to ACT will eventually migrate back to BCT because this is where the vast majority of active members and general chat will remain.

Looking down through the team sheets for the United Cup its interesting to see the absence of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz for teams Italy and Spain. Ive been reading Sinner wont make an appearance until the middle of January for the Kooyong Classic in Australia. I wonder how these tournaments really feel about top players appearing at their event and knowing that they are not going to get 100% from the top players...although there is decent prize money. Well, Medvedev on fast hard court surface (like US Open) can be a menace for Nole. Hard courts are relatively slow in Australia but let's not underestimate the Russian. Last year he started really well by winning several titles in a row.
Meanwhile, we can expect another impressive return in WTA: Naomi Osaka will be back after giving birth to her child. Japanese star will be playing for the first time since 2021.
Medvedev isn't really serious competition for Djokovic. When I say serious competition I mean a player who can consistently beat Djokovic. Of course it is possible for Medvedev to win a game against Djokovic, but over the course of a year I doubt that if they were to meet five times that Medvedev could ever win the majority of the games against him. Djokovic is in top condition physically and mentally and in contrast to Medvedev, Djokovic never gives up on games. Medvedev sometimes gets mentally derailed and plays as if he hated the sport. Djokovic is a machine, physically and mentally on top of his game, he is definitely the one to beat and its going to be difficult over 5 sets in the Grand Slams.

2 tournaments continuing on this week . . .
Top 14
Oyonnax v Pau - I'm a bit confused by this one - Oyonnax are the favourites against the second placed team, Pau are 2.08 to win, I think thats a great price.
Clermont Auvergne v Bordeaux Begles - Again I fancy the visitors @ 2.49 although I think this will be a close one.
English Premiership
Only 1 match tomorrow
Bristal Bears v Exeter Chiefs - Again as above I'm going with the visitors @ 2.70 after 9 rounds they have 2 more wins over Bristol.

Also these days I guess even 5MB images won’t hurt anyone. I don't really see the point. The largest image I have posted, is still under 2 MB. There's no point embedding larger images. If you really need a higher resolution, add a link. I can try asking @theymos to adjust the image proxy to 3MB, which would even give more freedom. That doesn't help. I forgot why you increased the limit from 2.5 MB to 3 MB, but this image should have been 1.4 MB so none of this is a solution. I wonder what sort of image would need to be 5mb? I mean we dont need to be posting large files like that, maybe on a photography website where people would be "pixel peeping". And if accessing the forum through smartphone it enables us to zoom in if required for more detail. Essentially extra data means extra costs for storage.

Djokovic and Alcaraz have just played against each other at the Riyadh Season Tennis Cup in Saudi Arabia. The match went over 3 sets with 6:4 each and Alcaraz won narrowly in the end. The two have now played against each other a total of 6 times and both has won 3 times.
Nice to see these two playing each other but its really only a pre-season training session I doubt they were giving it all at the risk of picking up an injury at this stage. I doubt if Djokovic would be put out by that, he will be focussing on Grand Slams I would say. t would be great to see a fully healthy Nadal in 2024 and have him compete with Djokovic like in good old times.
I was trying to see if there was any announcement as regards the order of play and there doesnt seem to be anything of a draw made at this stage. Qualifying is on 2 days already! Nadal will be as ready as he can be but will not be "match fit" if he can manage to get some wins under his belt and build his fitness and stay uninjured it will be great to see. One of my favourite female players, its massive to see that Naomi will be back playing and will be playing in Brisbane. If she can get her mentality together she can definitely do great things. Yeah, Naomi is always a pleasure to watch. It's incredible that she has already won 4 GS titles early in her career! If not for her mental health issues, she could have won many more Grand Slams I'm sure of it. But she is still young (she's 26) and she can still win at least some 5-6 titles if lucky. Look what she herself has to say: “I don’t know how the beginning of the year is going to go for me. Like, I don’t know the level of play. And I think I kind of have to ease into it,” the former World No. 1 said of her return. “So at the very least, I’m going to set myself up for a very good end of the year.” That sounds like she is easing back into it and not putting too much pressure on herself early on in the season.
There is another competition running ATM - The United Cup, its happening in Australia.

So Nordic countries and Baltics need to choose their sides becouse their destiny can be decided only by russia china or USA and Israel those have world most advanched military power. In Europe alone there is no any hope against russian techology at all If USA not helping EU
Also OP you have to factor in states such as France, Germany and the U.K as producers of high grade military technology. So Nordic countries and Baltics need to choose their sides becouse their destiny can be decided only by russia china or USA and Israel those have world most advanched military power. In Europe alone there is no any hope against russian techology at all If USA not helping EU
Nordic countries are already choosing their sides and it is not with Russia or China. Only earlier this year Finland who shares a border with Russia became a member of NATO. Only yesterday Sweden has edged closer to becoming a NATO member. https://www.politico.eu/article/turkeys-parliamentary-committee-approves-swedens-nato-membership/If there is World War 3, I doubt people would fight with guns and tanks it would be bombarding the locations and most likely Nuclear weapons and many countries have them already. So all these technologies can save from wars with people who are fighting with guns and other kinds of such things but anything beyond can't be controlled by anybody and nobody is going to benefit from such war so there won't be any WWIII.
But isnt that exactly what is happening in Ukraine currently? They are literally fighting using guns, tanks, drones and artillery.

Everyone is probably looking forward to the comeback of the year 2024 when Rafael Nadal steps onto the Australien Open court. I was trying to find out which tournament he will play in preparation of the Australian Open. Does anyone know what his first games will be? I think people around the world will watch those games with a little bit of skepticism, hoping that he doesn't have to give up or something. That fear that he has to step back during the tournament even when he wins his games until the quarterfinals or something is also there. But it would be great to see a fully healthy Nadal in 2024 and have him compete with Djokovic like in good old times.
I think his first tournament will be the ATP tournament in Brisbane end December- beginning January. It will be good to have him back on the tenniscourts, but I don't think he will get back to his old level. He is already 37 years and we saw the same with Federer when he tried to come back from his injury. Would be great if he could win another grandslam but will be very difficult. Ok yes, you are right, here it is: "Nadal Announces He Will Return In Brisbane" I am sure he has done everything possible to be fit enough to endure an entire tournament. Because this is what I am most afraid of, he wins his games but has to quit because of again another injury. I was trying to see if there was any announcement as regards the order of play and there doesnt seem to be anything of a draw made at this stage. Qualifying is on 2 days already! Djokovic is now smelling the opportunity as there is only Alcaraz who can stop him from time to time, but other than that there is hardly anyone with a realistic chance to beat Djokovic. If he stays in shape, who knows how many Grand Slam titles he can still add. Well, Medvedev on fast hard court surface (like US Open) can be a menace for Nole. Many hasn't gotten that time to read the Bitcoin whitepaper before making such judgement about Bitcoin going down. In as much as some who doesn't see Bitcoin going far doesn't mean it will fall instead it will bring something that would rather change their negative mindset or convince them totally that Bitcoin is here to stay for good. I believe the more haters we have the more longer it will excel with many more years to be counted.
They don't need to read all the Bitcoin White Paper or understand all technical things in Bitcoin protocol. It's for programmers who can understand code but as investors, people must read to learn basics of Bitcoin. Learning basics will help them to see potential of Bitcoin blockchain for privacy, anonymity and decentralized network, censorship resistant. They will understand about Bitcoin total supply and its scheduled future supply until 2140. Those basic knowledge is enough for them to build up their belief in Bitcoin and start to become a diamond hand Bitcoin investor. Controlled supplyHow is the 21M Bitcoin cap defined and enforced. I believe we still have those who knows the basic knowledge about Bitcoin but they still find it hard to accept the reality of Bitcoin and that it's here to stay, is like a double mind with one telling them to stick to the believe one day and very soon it will fall and 25% of the other is telling them that it won't. Is really a hard choice for them or should I call them unbelievers to accept things about Bitcoin. To me is like they do know much about Bitcoin but they're just skeptic about the whole thing so they stick to the idea that it will die off soon. I think as time passes and Bitcoin is still alive it becomes more normalised for more people. I believe next year or 2025 after the halving and after the resulting Bull run if the market price drops some people will be calling the death of Bitcoin. Then again if these ETF's get approved the normalisation and acceptance will increase. Back in 2017 when Bitcoin broke all believable barriers and roared up to the $20k zone and the resulting correction is when "everyone" was calling the death of Bitcoin, but in the following years as that $20k is a distant memory its clear to those that death is not happening....and it will become clearer and clearer as time passes.

2 out if 3 isnt that bad! Cardiff v Dragons - Odds are 1.24 for Cardiff and 4.2 for the dragons who are currently occupying last place in 16th. And it was a very convincing win too 55 - 21 and the Dragons remain at the bottom. Scarlets v Ospreys - This will be a close call 1.82 for the home side and 2.07 for the visitors who might very well win, great chance to double the stake.
Scarletts 11 - 25 Ospreys, strange game, all the scores were in the first half, it was 0 - 0 at half time. Final match should be a crowd pleaser Minster v Leinster - I think I'll go with the home side and underdogs who are 2.90 for this, Leinster although in 2nd spot on the table can be beaten. Munster couldnt overcome their home rivals, it ended 3 - 9! a game of 4 penalty scores, another strange game, I was hoping to watch that match but I'm glad I didnt get the time.

As 2024 approaches, two major events awaits us: The Bitcoin spot ETF approval and Bitcoin halving, respectively. with the occurrence of these two events, there is certainty that the market would be affected in positive ways, thereby seeing impressive pumps. The situation might also go the other way where the unexpected might happen.
So there is only 1 guaranteed event in 2024 that is the halving the other event you mentioned is a decision by the SEC, its result is not guaranteed. Question: With the coming of these two major events, assuming the price of Bitcoin turns out to be very impressive and massively different from today's current price, will the majority of Bitcoin holders keep(continue) holding?, or might price temptation just result in them selling to make a profit?.
Lots of permutations could happen in 2024, and they will happen throughout the year, Long term Hodlers might take profits Long term Hodlers might continue to Hodl. Long term Hodlers might take profits to buy back later
