World economic depression would as everyone has stated affect Bitcoin, nothing would escape a depression but it wouldnt spell the end of Bitcoin despite what fudsters would say
As finances would become affected there would be a high chance of people having to liquidate Bitcoin and other assets in order to mitigate the affects of a recession, as an example of an instance that would affect Bitcoin.
I would like to think that Bitcoin would recover quickly and possibly quicker than anything else...

berrettini retired from Queen's Club Championship! The former winner of Wimbledon has not been able to play this tournament. Bad news for him and all supporters. It seems the player has hit a loong streak of defeat and retirements. Now he is at 34 place in ATP (last place was 21th). I think this an interesting data for all gamblers. First of all, he is now in bad shape so it's could be interested bet against him. Secondly, when he will come back to play as usual, this can be a bargain chance... But... we don't know "when"... so let's wait. Interesting fact (like we have seen with Tsitsi)... he starts to play bad after he has get officially linked to "Melissa Satta" a famous italian starlet. So is Berrettini still recovering from injury, os is just not fit or is he massively distracted with . . . other things?
over at Queens - Murray will be playing de Minaur today, thats a tough draw for him but I think the markets really dont know, the odds are even really, 1.86 to 1.88... I think I will make a bet on Murray, he is playing in good form ATM. Tiafoe also plays today in an easy enough draw against Van de Zandschulp, he should win this one at 1.45.

Nice collection and welcome to the forum!
I assume these are just a flavour of the collection. Those Silver Dollars are probably the pick of what you have posted and that Austro-Hungarian imperial coin too.
As for the Euro coins they would have to be uncirculated with low mintage to be worth more than their face value, there were just so many minted through the years, with some years of various countries being lower mintages than others. Coins from the Vatican and countries like Monaco or San Marino are always good.
Generally speaking old Silver and Gold coins will be the ones getting the most attention.

My best friend is a farmer and has officially been tested to have an IQ of 149!
High IQ is not a necessity but its important to have people who have a high rank, Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Nikola Tesla, Isaac Newton and maybe Satoshi Nakamoto had all high IQ and look what they have contributed to our lives but could they cook well, or create their own clothes or create beautiful artworks? probably not.
Everyone has a talent high IQ or not and not everyone can do everything to a high standard even if they know the theory.

Congratulations to Andy Murray on winning the tournament in Nottingham! Andy Murray won the Nottingham Open for back-to-back grass-court titles to maintain a perfect Wimbledon build-up. A week after victory in the Surbiton Trophy, the 36-year-old hoisted more silverware with a 6-4 6-4 victory over France's Arthur Cazaux in Nottingham.Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/65943406It's great to see that Andy Murray, after so many injuries and after not playing for so long, is not giving up and is still trying to play at the highest level. After this victory, he will enter the top 40 tennis players in the world. His biggest prize will be a performance at the upcoming Wimbledon, although his chances of a big result at Wimbledon are probably very small. I wonder how long we will see tennis masters like him or Nadal on the court. Much expected win. This have helped him move few ranks high on the world tennis rank list. Young players are dominating the court and it is really hard for him to win more matches. However his thoughts and staying positive at this age with much of injuries and recovery breaks shows his love to tennis. A good win and congratulations. I'm not sure how it happened, but it was said that the kids of Andy Murray have come to the match to give him a father's day support and wishing him the same. Really great!!! Yes great win by Andy and he got it done in 2 sets as well. If you aren sure how it happened, Andy has found some tournaments which align with his level of tennis and capabilities and thats Challenger level. I think he said somewhere very recently that all he wants is to win tournaments and has realised that its not going to happen on the ATP circuit. Some people are talking him up a bit for Wimbledon because he has won bact to back Challenger titles but he need favourable draws to get through the rounds.

So, my Stuttgart prediction worked and there will be a Tiafoe v Struff final. Against all odds, I think Struff is going to win the title. I won't be betting on this match though, it should be pretty close and it's a risky bet.
Great performance from Struff so far this year. In Madrid he was surprisingly in the final and had a good performance against Alcarez. And also in this tournament in Stuttgart he came back many times and deserved to reach the final. I also think it will be a close match against Tiafoe. Yes, it will be close, Tiafoe is slight favourite I guess from being seeded in 3rd spot but my bet is on Struff @ 1.97 based obviously on his performance and being the "home player". Over at Nottingham, Murray already has the first set playing Casaux, he should win this really. It must be a treat for these challenger players to be playing a multi GS winner and former #1!

More than a week has gone past without a single vote or comment having been made, so it's time to call it for option two 2: Turn imgur images into links - 51 (54.8%) Time to lock the thread as there are other threads which canvas the topics being discussed here. I think that is probably the best solution even if it isn't the one I voted for. Mostly, I don't want to download any software and I don't think it makes sense for end users to do anything. The amount of man hours that would be wasted by so many people each having to individually solve this issue would be a shocking waste of time. Sure, having the images just transferred to talkimg would be the best solution for end users, but it would require trusting another service not to do the same thing as imgur. Replacing with links seems to be the least time consuming solution that would also not add additional points of failure. I'll be glad when it's done. I voted for this option purely because it seems like the best solution and it means there will be no need anyone to back track through all their links to fix the errors which would indeed be such a waste of time. Personally if I had used IMGUR in the past I wouldnt even bother going back to fix the errors and I'm sure there are others who would feel te same. The benefit I see with talkimg.com is that it was created by an active user of the Forum ( joker_josue ) specifically for the Forum to use and is relying on what I would call meager donations to maintain the website, but is not asking for any other payment in kind for their services to actually run the site. Already there is an "unofficial" support person ( TryNinja ) who created a script to assist port images URL's in posts. While that might not be everyone's cup of tea trusting scripts it's help which again has been done without being asked, or paid for.
Kudos to both I say.
Absolutely, this is really the best solution and option for hosting images going forward. The fact that it is run by active members 2 of the forum is a massive benefit.

Pretty much as everyone has stated the common problem in achieving an equal society is the inclusion of Humans. We are all different with different goals, needs and requirements. Its just too simple to say social equality is achievable.
I would say the only time humans had social equality was during the time of the early hunter gatherers, there was only very simple goals, food, warmth and shelter.
In an effort to live a life some people do better than others and have different capabilities, work harder than others and have greater goals than others which results in greater rewards for different people.
"Great idea; wrong species" - American biologist E. O. Wilson. Wealth distribution sounds great until it applies to humans who are incapable of working in perfect unison with respect to wealth generation. The amount of work someone does must be proportional to the wealth someone generates -- with communism it's easy for someone's work to be disproportionate to the wealth generated. Now, if you're an ant on a farm -- and all your programed to do is work in unison, communism looks feasible. Not even during the hunter gatherer era was there equality, such a concept didn't exist. I was thinking that there was little to separate each group of hunter gatherers, simple tools, simple clothing and simple shelter. The sole purpose was to sustain that simple life. It could be compared to those Ants... In developed countries life is very complicated and is predominantly driven by seeking wealth and trying to progress so everyone is on a slightly different path to others which doesnt go too well for an equal society.

Semifinals tomorrow in Stuttgart:
Hurkacz v Struff Tiafoe v Fucsovics
My bets marked in bold. Struff is extremely strong on home soil, grass also suits his playing style very well. H2H is 1:0 Struff but note they met last time back in 2016(!) on clay. Tiafoe is my choice for the second semi. Happy betting guys!
They seem like realistic bets and really its looking good for Tiafoe being the highest seeded player left among the 4, but this really is a very unexpected semi final lineup. Tiafoe is probably the strongest of them if he can focus enough. In the Nottingham Challenger Andy Murray have slowly progressed and reached the Quarter finals. In the quarter finals match Andy Murray is in lead position winning the first set against Stricker 77-62, now again he have won the second set 7-5.
He's one among the legend who is fighting hard amidst his age and injuries. With this win he had his consecutive eight win in grass.
Andy is going well and into the Semi Finals to play Borges. Its interesting that at the Challenger level Andy is being successful, with results like this he will definitely be confident in extending his career.

Rugby Union:.
NRL 2023:R16 kicks off tomorrow with the Cowboys v Panthers, I have a bet on th Panthers @ 1.73 which is a great price, only thing is they have had a very unsettled season so far. I will be so pi$$ed off if the Cowboys who have really fallen away this season manage a win tomorrow. . .
Round 16 kicks off in two hours from now. Like you my money is on the Panthers for the first game (where the money is at for that one) the next two games I'm going against the money by picking the Roosters and the Sea Eagles over the Knights and Eels respectively. In the third game tomorrow I'm back to the money with the Storm and Sharks over the much maligned Wests Tigers and Bulldogs who seem to be giving it their all this season.
. What the absolute Fock... The Cowboys only went and beat the Panthers 27 -23! Such a strange season this is in the NRL, very different to last year. I suppose its a case of the Cowboys showing what they are capable of. I'm just doing two more picks this round, Storm to beat the Wests Tigers even though the Tigers have been performing quite well and are still at the bottom of the ladder. Second I'll go with Sharks over the Bulldogs.

Yea well some are behind some form of pay wall here too, apart from the URC and Six Nations I think, those games are shown on Terrestrial or Local TV. For the Heinken Champions Cup, Gallagher Premiership and Top14 they are behind pay walls.

Mt Gox was launched in 2010, and between 2013 and early 2014, it was one of the biggest exchange in the world handling about 70% of bitcoin transactions. We all know what happened to Mt. Gox, how it was hacked and how the story ended, but bitcoin is still standing. Binance is the biggest centralized exchange in the world with the highest trading volume of bitcoin of about $7.3B according to stats available on coinmarketcap. If the US government succeeds in finally shotting down Binance it would definitely have an effect on the crypto market generally on the short term, but I don't see any way how it can harm bitcoin.
Thats prof right there! The question in the thread title is very specific Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? Bitcoin is bigger than anyone one person, exchange, miner etc. It is decentralised so it would remain unhurt, it has suffered many events such as the above Mt.GOX and attacks from high profile people trying to discredit it over the years and it still stands strong What would really happen is the markets would have a big reaction to the event of Binance going down, traders and people suffering from FUD would cause a bit of a crash, it would all be very short term though and would be chalked into another chpter of Bitcoin's history.

Same as that, I use "Satoshi's" its only fitting to use that in recognition of the person who brought us Bitcoin.
Bit should be really only be used to describe the single unit of Bitcoin.

it seems that the new girlfriend didn't bring luck to Tsitsipas that has lost today in 3 sets against Gasquet. He gave to me the impression of being tired like at the end of a tournament , in short, not the Greek we know, but "green" probably isn't his favorite surface.... Ah his focus is not 100% on Tennis ATM - he has other things on his mind !! I had a feeling that the match could go this way but in the end I chickened of our betting on Gasquet...but I didnt bet on Tsitsipas either. Grass season is revving up: Stuttgart ATP
-snip-
Kyrgios v Wu
Every match with Nick Kyrgios is a great tennis show. He doesn't play very regularly so it's a nice possibility to watch him play, getting ready for the grass season and Wimbledon. It looks like an easy match for the Aussie though.
snip
On Thursday Tsitsipas is scheduled to play Gasquet, looking at the stats on results on court surfaces, Gasquet seems to have a better win/loss ratio on Grass, I wonder is a bet on Gasquet worth the 3.95 odds he has? ...so yes he was worth the 3.95 odds. He plays Struff tomorrow who beat Paul today in 2 sets, I did bet on Paul after questioning his performances this year already in an earlier post.

So everyone is talking about "investing" and "risk", it really comes down to education. In order for anyone to even consider those two topics they need to be educated about what they are getting into - Bitcoin
Why it was created How it works The benefits Bitcoin offers How to store it and how not to How the markets work The Bitcoin halving cycles and the "4 year cycle" Explain the concept of patience Explain how FOMO and FUD happens The risks of falling into the seemingly easy opportunities of $hitcoins
After all those discussions it would be up to your friend to make the choice and be comfortable that you wouldnt be responsible if somethings goes wrong for the "investment" and without that knowledge there would be a very high chance wrong decisions would be made.

Rugby Union TOP14
The final of the French Top14 league is on the Saturday the 17th, Toulouse face La Rochele. The odds are 1.84 to 2.04. I havent been following this at all this year but I have a small bet on La Rochelle purely because I'm backing the Irish connection, Ronan O'Gara the coach of La Rochelle. They are of course the Heineken Cup Champions of 2023.
There was very little difference between the two sides at the end of regular season, Just a drawn game for Toulouse th firrefence between 1 and 2.
Team Played Won Lost Drawn For Against Pts Diff Bonus Points 1 Toulouse 26 17 8 1 682 474 208 11 81 2 La Rochelle 26 17 9 0 673 479 194 10 78
French Rugby is in a really great place and after this fnal this year the focus will be on the World Cup and how the hosts France will do
