501  Economy / Reputation / Re: DireWolfM14's Trust Setting and Tag Review on: June 25, 2019, 10:14:21 PM
The reason I'm creating this thread right now is because I just left a negative rating for member Csmiami due to his handling of this situation.  I had originally left him a neutral review, but after consideration I decided a negative review is warranted.
I'd stand by your feedback. I don't really like how the entire situation was handled. I don't know if OP of that thread had any intentions of scamming or is just plain stupid but the experienced members of bitcointalk should not be playing with someone's money even if it means punishing them. CSMaimai's intentions to keep the money for 2 days is just hilarious. At one point Op actually gave up on his 0.003 which I assume wouldn't have been returned if not for you and DarkStar.

It's a silly mistake though. Maybe you should watch them for a few weeks and then change the feedback? I'd be more open to having the feedback removed right now if CSMiami accepts their mistake.
502  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for legendary account on: June 25, 2019, 10:01:37 PM
I have already mentioned in the posted in the ANN the disclaimer that I am not a member of the project and users need to do their own due diligence before making any purchase/investment.
Wow, that'd be so much helpful. Very good.

If there is any scam accusation related to the project, I will lock the thread and refund the OP till further investigation.
Yeah but by that time some people would have already got scammed due to your ANN thread and you'd have already made your pennies. If anyone gets scammed by that thread, I'll be the first one to create a flag against you.

To others accusing me: Till today I've never seen any bounty manager taking responsibility for a project they manage turning scam and many reputed managers have managed such bounties. And it's also the same with signature campaigns wherein we have seen bitblender and another mixer turning scam but the managers haven't been blamed for it. And as I've said, I'm just posting the ANN and am not recommending anyone to invest or purchase.
It's not the same thing. Why can't OP purchase his own thread by getting a copper membership? Why does he insist on having a legendary account? Did you ask him that? No. On one end we've members giving time to make this forum scam free and on the other end, we have members like you who'd go heights for a few pennies.

Just buy a copper membership
You were not too quick in deleting your previous comment. Maybe create a separate thread and I'll respond to you.
503  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for legendary account on: June 25, 2019, 05:44:16 PM
I can post the ANN. Send me the details. My telegram account is erikalui.
Are you out of your mind? Will you take the responsibility for misleading newbies if the project turns out to be a scam? You know what the perception is right? "ANN is created by a legendary member so it must be very genuine project and safe to invest or participate in the bounty". I feel ashamed if legendary members like you are okay with promoting such scam ICO's just for the heck of few pennies.

504  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: mo_onster is trying to phish clueless noobs into typing their seeds on his site on: June 24, 2019, 11:47:40 PM
The best way to hurt these scammers is to spam the website with garbage information. If I had too much time on my hands, I'd probably use a fake 12 random words generator and then automate sending 10000+ requests per minute through their input box.

I checked for the possible inside information but seems like he has bought the website with Google-Analytics and everything integrated. The developer is someone else I guess..
505  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 500+ Restaurants, Supermarkets, Bars, Shops and Hotels accepting BTC on: June 24, 2019, 11:31:25 PM
Did you check out your competitors? https://bitcoinwide.com/ Wink

I like you've taken the open-source road. If I had to fork your project, I'd certainly add a search bar to search for shops either by location or items. Also, the map looks pixelated on my screen. Use 60+ fps if available for zoom-in map displays.
506  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitcoinWide - search platform for Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency on: June 24, 2019, 11:01:22 PM
I found some bugs :
 - Search for a specific item like Pizza and once the results are displayed after the shadow loaders, press the <- back button on top of the search-bar, you will see that it doesn't really go back but keeps re-loading the same page and gets stuck in the same loop. For my surprise, even the back button of the browser doesn't take me to the main page.

I could find more haha it's a small bug but aesthetics are important.  Tongue
507  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.25 btc on: June 24, 2019, 10:50:32 PM
HORIZON you did not find me with your mother to ask me move on
We have a badass here, do we? You can start by giving free betting tips for say 20 football matches and we'll see if your winning prediction probability matches 75%. If it turns out to be true, I'm sure people would be interested in working with you.

For now, all you have is statements without proofs and a terrible attitude towards the members of this forum.
508  Other / Meta / Re: [ALTS] What is the procedure for registering alts? on: June 24, 2019, 10:31:30 PM
You don't have to but it will be a solid proof that you actually control the account:- Sign a message from one of the oldest staked address from the Jet_Cash account and either publicly post it for verification or ask a DT member to verify it. After they verify your signed message, they can leave a neutral trust to confirm that alt account is in your control.
509  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Flag] Lutpin - Known Alt Donation funds. on: June 24, 2019, 06:42:54 PM
Perhaps donators and other contributors from mexxer's thread can say a word or two, me, as contributor to threads started by lauda and timelord don't agree with this. I don't feel like I should get part of donations for thread I have never ever contributed.
I was one of the top contributors in the old thread. If you check the 'Level of awesomeness', I'm at rank 3 after Lutpin & Timelord. To start with, I don't support this Flag, neither it is an appropriate flag type as far as TL's issues are concerned. Lutpin isn't the type of member who'd argue over holding 0.017975 BTC. The entire point of creating the Known Alt.. thread was to contribute constructively to the forum and of course, find alt accounts. Donations were introduced later and IIRC, I got paid once. No one did it just for the heck of donations. As long as the funds are concerned, I don't really believe in dragging conversations over a few pennies especially when a reputed member like Lutpin is involved.

@TL: I understand you want those funds to be distributed to the contributors (including yourself) but taking the amount and the people involved into consideration, I'd say keep the thread for an open-ended conversation without an accusation.

Question is, how these funds should be shared? Equally to every contributor or shares based on contribution? I can't find this in mexxer's thread.
'Level of awesomeness' was the measure introduced by Mexx so that will be it I guess...
510  Other / Meta / DDOS? on: June 24, 2019, 12:34:16 PM
Am I the only one having connectivity issues with bitcointalk at the moment? The connection gets timed out and takes a few minutes to load a page. Typical server response when a website is being DDOS'd.

P.S. - No, it's not my internet connection or other browser issues.
511  Economy / Gambling / Re: GambleRock.com - Online Gambling Forums - Official Thread on: June 23, 2019, 11:40:49 PM
Our experience with Bitstarz has really been good so far. We've read some standard complaints that you'll find on just about every casino but no substantial evidence of them ever doing anything wrong. i've asked for proof before when a similar comment was made in the past about them and they just replied with links to lack less threads. i hope your intent is not just to bash Bitstarz. Regardless, thank you for your honest feedback. Its appreciated!
If you check out the reference link and the comment posted on their trust space clearly states "Selective Scamming". I'm sure you know what selective scamming applies here. Your experience had been great but it won't be the case with everyone and you should not review a gambling site just by your experience. Let real players review the sites. I don't see any reason why I'd want to "bash" them.
512  Other / Meta / Re: Who else agrees that self moderation of ANN threads shouldn't be possible? on: June 23, 2019, 11:37:24 PM
If the OPs suggestion were to get implemented, it seems a simple solution would be to prevent self moderated threads in either of these subs.
Even if it works out, won't be an ideal solution. If I had to start my own service/project, I'd want my thread to be self-moderated to avoid low quality, redundant, not-constructive comments. If someone thinks that I must have a shady project can always create a new thread and I'll be happy to respond there.

Having the restriction for newbie accounts is fine but not suitable for higher ranks.
513  Economy / Lending / Re: need 500$ repay 700$ on: June 23, 2019, 11:32:44 PM
Hello Man,

Hardly people will tust in us, so let me know if you find any place or somebody wich still believe in people, Even myslef when i was not in hurry cash flow, i lend to poeple here without any collateral it wasnt so much but i still that there is good people out there.

Can you show us any proofs of you lending BTC to strangers on the forum without any collateral?

"Good People" "Kind People" and other philosophical junk works out only in the books. In reality, people don't give a shit how honest you are. No one will give you a penny without proper collateral.
514  Economy / Gambling / Re: GambleRock.com - Online Gambling Forums - Official Thread on: June 23, 2019, 11:28:12 PM
The reason why I don't like any other online gambling communities or forums: https://www.gamblerock.com/gambling-forums/topic/have-you-tried-bitstarz-casino/

Straight shilling for the service and using shill accounts for writing fake reviews. They're a scammy casino and you can check their profile is tagged https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=307265 for the same. The post on your gambling forum can mislead newbies to play on a site that is likely to steal their deposits.
515  Other / Meta / Re: Who else agrees that self moderation of ANN threads shouldn't be possible? on: June 23, 2019, 11:20:03 PM
Just think the opposite. A good project has come up but some people want to destroy it, they can easily spread fud in that case and you can't prevent that. Both has advantages and disadvantages.
Criticizing is okay. Accounts spreading FUD or hijacking threads can be best sorted out by reporting a post to the moderator.

Like SaltySpitton said, the forum doesn't have an automated way of checking if a particular thread is an ANN unless it is in the dedicated board. If I come across a self-moderated ANN thread, I assume the service is shady and move on. In fact, self-moderated threads from newbie accounts often force me to investigate more about the project.
516  Other / Meta / Re: Explanation on off-topic !!! on: June 23, 2019, 11:08:05 PM
SIMPLE: Your answer was already stated by someone else in the same thread.

Quote
There are a lot of ways to earn crypto like Gambling , Crypto Faucets etc . But my suggestion to earn crypto as a newbie is doing bounties .Because bounty is the easiest way as you just need to do tweets, retweets ,Post, Shares and they will pay you.

Not exactly but it kinda means the same thing. Have a habit of reading the threads before posting to make sure someone hasn't already conveyed your point. Even good posters have their posts deleted being new in the forum and all.
517  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie accounts should not be allowed to post in certain forums. on: June 19, 2019, 12:47:02 AM
1. satoshi would disagree
2. theymos would disagree

because people wont understand the basics if those who were here wont allow it.blockchain needs social awareness, people needs to educate how blockchain works.
There are literally hundred's of blogs online which teach you bitcoin/Blockchain from the basics. Even though the forum has a good response for newbie related questions but it isn't an ideal place to start learning about bitcoins. Most of the accounts created here are to either make money out of signatures or providing crypto related services. You will encounter very fewer threads by newbie accounts that need help understanding bitcoins. Infact, some of the members have spent years here doing signature campaigns and what not but they have no clue what a real bitcoin wallet is.
518  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: imported.store website for buying stuff with bitcoin on: June 19, 2019, 12:00:21 AM
i ordered s15 miner from them last month and another one is on the way right now. i paid with bitcoincash instead of bitcoin.

(USA buyer). they shipped faster than promised! I would buy again & highly recommend. Smiley

Both look like typical shill comments from the throwaway accounts. Don't fall for this one and this also answers your question, they're using shill accounts to promote their service which shows they're not reliable and you have high chances of losing your money.
519  Economy / Reputation / Re: This is not fair, LFC_Bitcoin on: June 18, 2019, 11:47:10 PM
With all respect, I disagree with the Feedback left on the profile. Maybe a suggestion to lock to thread or asking reasons why they should be considered for a no-collateral loan could be done before tagging them. It makes sense to tag newbie throwaway accounts that come up with ridiculous requests but a genuine Hero member should be reviewed unless they have something shady going on with the account.

I'm just curious if I open a no-collateral loan request for 0.05 BTC will I be tagged as well?
520  Economy / Gambling / Re: Trust/ Flag of casino/dice sites' owners on: June 18, 2019, 11:39:14 PM
Anyone had experience with Cloudbet? Its admin has quite positive trust ratings.
I had seen several bad reviews about them. There are a few scam accusations opened against in the recent months. My trust ratings show them as untrustworthy.

I wasn't convinced last time I had a look at them. However it seems they've passed the test of time.
Doesn't mean they're gonna be the same with everyone or their previous accusations are void. I'd still consider them shady unless they solve their open scam accusations.
