541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Cryptocurrency's killer app: disrupting web ads via RaiBlocks micropayments on: April 13, 2016, 10:54:46 PM

I'm continuously astonished by the incapacity of people to read the last 10 posts or the dev posts before posting something.  Shocked

yes or the explanation on the faucet itself;

"We are aiming to pay out every 2-6 hours. In the event that payouts take longer than normal, don't worry. All of your successful ReCaptcha solves are recorded and you will receive distribution for all of your work. "
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best funding model? on: April 11, 2016, 03:40:44 PM
Getting a job (not a Poll option)

+1

yes paying people to dev a coin kind of defeats half the purpose of needing an alternative to fiat in the first place  Roll Eyes
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: April 11, 2016, 03:26:30 PM
This freakin thing better go back up (again)!!!!  Angry

thats what maxcoin holders where saying before startcoin  Lips sealed

so where is the max guys, he going to ever make things good  Undecided or is he one of those bankster types he criticizes so much  Shocked
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Anime [Tip and be tipped with Animecoin] アニメコイン ANI on: April 11, 2016, 03:13:35 PM
AiakosGatana

so you are talking lets be completely centralised?

so one central leader (dev who bailed on the coin) gave you the right to be in charge  Huh not the community that actually stuck around? so the community has no say, just the self appointed supreme leader.

that's almost the textbook definition of a hostile takeover.

if you have any respect for decentralised p2p cryptos you'll give the community full detail of your proposal then put it to a community vote. i'm lost how is that not the right thing to do?

if the community votes to accept your proposal (after you give them the full details) then i have no problem.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Anime [Tip and be tipped with Animecoin] アニメコイン ANI on: April 11, 2016, 03:05:53 PM
stealing could be another way of puting it

I like the healthy opposition because it allows me to see the bigger picture, but your opposition is not healthy any more since you're throwing around false allegations easier than a walk in the park.

how is it a false allegation  Huh its a response to your words, are you not going to premine the lot and then keep for the dev team whats not swapped? you claim people already mined them so its fair  Huh but you didn't mine them and you are claiming the premine of the ones who don't swap? no?

546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Anime [Tip and be tipped with Animecoin] アニメコイン ANI on: April 09, 2016, 01:45:07 PM
cryptopia's ANI markets been unfrozen, and delisting's put on hold, after i (and other community members) contacted them, they and this community needs a clearer picture of whats going on.

the takeover is so airy fairy, i'm confused and the community deserves a clear picture and a vote, or its just a hostile takeover.

you can't just plow on with a swap without giving the community time to understand whats even goin on.

like you are going to premine  Huh then claim the unswapped  Huh then later buy the original coins off the unswapped users  Huh with what  Huh you mean raising money/btc via dumping the premine............way to double spend  Shocked

now you need to premine because you want to pay devs monthly wages, pay people who didn't swap, and donate to all these charities (you threw in to gain attention)  Huh so you're goin to dump the premine to  "get enough economic strength"  Huh
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Anime [Tip and be tipped with Animecoin] アニメコイン ANI on: April 09, 2016, 12:09:47 PM
Hi,

Due to the coin-swap, ANI is now being delisted from Cryptopia as per our delist policy.

Please withdraw all ANI before 15/4/16.

If you would like to submit you NEW coin please submit a support ticket and if the new coin meets the requirements it will be added to the vote list.

Thanks

i'm curious at who actually contact you guys, as no coin swap has yet been voted on by the community  Huh
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Anime [Tip and be tipped with Animecoin] アニメコイン ANI on: April 09, 2016, 11:53:06 AM

stealing could be another way of puting it seeing how it was someone elses mining and someone not claiming obviously ain't giving it too you.

detlails need to be announced yet they had it delisted telling cryptopia there was a swap? no community vote just a hostile take over.

Yes...it is theft if there is not a proper Swap for existing coins.

Funds can be raised by dilution of Equity (similar to what happens in the Stock Market regularly)...A fair percentage of new coins in a swap is the right way to do it, with existing coins hard-coded into the new wallet.

actually thats one thing i'm really lost with, how this takeover guy who has no funds intends on raising funds  Huh

Hi friends!

I have to thank the guys who have PMed words of support, and to those who have sent me emails telling me to keep it up, you’re the best guys!

I have also seen that the exchanges have been moving decently lately, that’s also a sign of support so a big thanks for you too!

Someone told me that Animecoin doesn’t need to be premined because it has already been fairly mined, and that the word that I was looking for in this case was in fact: Swap.

And honestly I didn’t think of it that way, that’s why there’s strength in numbers.

So by doing the coin-Swap we will be able to do what we need to keep moving forward while maintaining the NO PREMINE feature intact.

However in order to the plans for the development of Animecoin to work, we’ll need to keep the swapped-coins to be able to advance forward.

if you don't burn the non swapped coins its the same as premine.

also you now have gone out of your way to delist anime from cryptopia for those of us who want to continue with and revive the real anime.

instead of a hostile take over why not a community vote?

Details still to be announced ?. ..but it seems the idea is to create new coins to use for development costs ie Sell. ...so yes, a premine could be a way of putting it.
Existing holders need to be treated well and they will support the project. Community vote once details are clear.

A hard-coded swap in the new wallet would be the best way to swap.

stealing could be another way of puting it seeing how it was someone elses mining and someone not claiming obviously ain't giving it too you.

always amazes me how many newbie accounts continually tell us how irrelevant litecoin is  Roll Eyes

now if its so irrelevant why do so many waste so much time telling us this  Huh
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CFC new page * Pure POS * Swap from CFC2 * Bounties * Mac Linux Win wallets! on: April 08, 2016, 05:58:48 AM

Burn rest of coins — nongood idea, because 30M coins go in asshole and to much people will not be able CFC holders.

burning non claimed coins is the only option (unless you hold indefinitely for people to claim) or otherwise its no different to premine scams.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin Survive the Innovation Wave on: April 08, 2016, 03:08:50 AM
sorry what "Innovation Wave"  Huh

oh you mean the term 'innovation' that's used to pump 1001 coins/platforms etc ?

really what do we need in a p2p currency?

the only innovation that's needed it simplification which is the exact opposite to what all the so called 2.0 coins/platforms are doing.

all the newbies think its "innovation or bust" when p2p currency is "innovation or bust trust" and I'll take trust any day over innovation.

as i've said before tis currency not a mission to mars.

I don't know, ask all the businesses that decided to pass on Litecoin. Ethereum has achieved more mainstream traction than Litecoin could ever dream. Litecoin was a cute project for it's time, now it's bagholders that are hoping for another miracle. I can't tell if it's funny or just plain sad.

Firstly no crypto has mainstream traction.

Eth is getting a few minutes of fame within the crypto community because of its price pump (nothing more the the greater fool theory https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_fool_theory).  mostly off pseudo news like the microslop azure bs (which accepts any crypto that signs up).

ask anyone outside of the very small crypto community if they've heard of Ethereum  Huh mainstream traction lol

so called innovative coins are their own worst enemy, ie none will gain any traction due to the fact their entire crowd will move on to the next flavor of the month innovative coin  Shocked

555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion for LTC holders - Let's get coblee here too if possible. on: April 07, 2016, 11:07:00 PM
Would you not prefer to see a small reward per block go to a fully transparent dev wallet with full ledger regarding how funds are used? I think it would work better than donations in a way.

nope, worst idea ever  Shocked sounds like a bank. tis meant to be an alternative to the banks.

does really concern me with crypto across the board the mindset of everyone, seems everyone's forgetting the whole point of developing p2p currencies, and now its more about ROI, and who's getting paid  Cry

the single most useful point in cryptos is being p2p currency that leaves the money changes out of the equation, without there basically is no point.

tis becoming just another banking platform.

the huge advantage in litecoin is no premine and one of the cleanest coin as in the dev didn't make it to make $$$$; colbee had seen the way the scene was going and all the coins launching where the devs get a cut and thought the only way to be successful was for the dev not to take a cut......and guess what?

HE WAS RIGHT.......schools out.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Cryptocurrency's killer app: disrupting web ads via RaiBlocks micropayments on: April 05, 2016, 08:26:27 AM
i wouldn't object to an ico , i think Kelsey will be talking to the dev regarding how to do it right and properly and most important legally .

coins now distributed could count as airdropped , totally solves the problem of the dev having to maintain coin distribution after the distributed all at once except if he has premine but still no work . Help provide funding for time and effort already spent for dev.

Anyone object to ICO proposal?

well i totally object to an ICO for this coin.

i'll happy instruct the dev howto do a legal ICO, but its not a simple thing to comply with regulations in this regard, its not like you can just say oh lets do one and then just pump it out the next day.

WINNER:

INCAKOIN

cool i do think its important to keep a connection to the past where ever the future leads, or else whats the point in reviving this coin.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Cryptocurrency's killer app: disrupting web ads via RaiBlocks micropayments on: April 05, 2016, 06:22:37 AM
i  disliked the faucet idea for many reasons, including the dev doing all the hard work while a few (many that have no interest in the tech of the coin) find ways to make profits out of it.

gets worse when those riding on the devs work almost demand he give them constant free money.

starting off a freely distribution coins then flipping to ICO is worse though, i could go on forever with that.

there is a proper an legal way to do a ICO which i will eventually go through directly with the dev (just typing post in between a crazy busy week). its alot of work and i'd only approach that if you're thinking properly big.

many have done, under the radar, with little legal knowledge/advice, ICOs via this forum where devs have made serious money, yes, but sooner or later many are going to find themselves in serious hot water.

i get where the devs initial concept of slow free distribution (to replicate mining distribution) is coming from, and yes ideally great idea, but the executions are killer.

559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Cryptocurrency's killer app: disrupting web ads via RaiBlocks micropayments on: April 05, 2016, 04:39:41 AM
Right proposal :
Keep the auction on for 2-4-8 weeks

even the current auction if it goes ahead will kill the legitimacy of this coin.

also from the start you'll notice my first post saying i liked the coins concept (alot), no fan of the faucet idea (already knew the outcome of that idea when greed kicks in).

do i have solutions and plans yes, (nothings perfect though). but i can tell u guys once the gates open well no point in all this time and effort.

i suggest (strongly) a halt on everything distribution related til a proper plan is thoughout. adhoc like now big regret later.

everything being kick around here is nothing new, its kinda wasting time throwing around ideas without researching the history of such discussions.

trust me on one thing; at the very least pause the auction plan and not let any be sold that way before this is sorted. i'll try and find time for proper live chat with the dev.

560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Cryptocurrency's killer app: disrupting web ads via RaiBlocks micropayments on: April 05, 2016, 04:24:41 AM
It's pitty what this will turn into. I just don't understand why DEV would destroy coin like this with that dumb auction.
People actually investing their time and effort claiming coins is what gave it value in a way and spread awareness.
There's nothing that makes this special anymore after being auctioned for quick dev profit... so lame.

To be accurate, developing something for 2 year is a very slow loss rather than a quick profit.  Time value of money says it's better to do nothing than spend time of something that gets you nothing.

well if its about making money developing in crypto aint for you. for a crypto to genuinely be successful dev has to let go of thing of a return money wise. and more create something of value.

almost 99% of the crypto community is heading down a path that would have you kicked off this forum and lablelled a scammer by the community in the early days.

added to that there is so many legal issue this community is completely ignorant of, and often think things are ok because its been the wild west and the law hasn't fulltime clean up this place.

you do the real reason satoshi went anon? (and that was with something that wasn't an ICO).
