1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The legends of bitcointalk should make our own altcoin together, thoughts? on: July 17, 2015, 02:27:44 AM
Legends of bitcointalk we may have had arguments with each other before but this right here is our chance to really make it big to make more profit then we have ever had before.

Huh with motives like this kinda defeats the whole purpose of geniune alt currency creation  Roll Eyes

Why is making money shunned upon so much? Just because we'll be making money doesn't make our efforts any less genuine.

because alts created to make the devs money are the very definition of a scamcoin, again whats the point in being an alterative to the greedy banker controlled fiat, if we ourselves become the greedy bankers, but thats lost on alot of people around this place.

I don't think you understand what a scam is. We are in know way stealing anything we are just providing a service and profiting off of it.

while certainly there are win win scenerios in many comercial endeavours, creating crypto currencies (as suggested) certainly aint one of them ie here in order for you to make profit someone has to make a loss, so you are basically suggesting legendary members use their status create a coin to profit of newbies.

you can go on,and on with a defensive arguement, now, any way you like, use whatever semantics you like, but its the underlining truth to your OP.

1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: leaked video explained the recent pump of litecoin on: July 16, 2015, 11:20:58 AM
the entire presentation of the ponzi:

http://8btc.com/thread-20457-1-1.html

any chinese that can report the whole thing in english?

what do you want to know, that page has various banners and articles about various aspects of litecoin and cryptocurrencies.

down near the bottoms theres stuff on some kinda scheme where you pay 500 ltc and get interest each day (they analogize it as  some kinda of mining machine), and you can get others in and get more, various levels where you earn more etc, its certainly clear on telling your returns but nothing on how they get your returns (go figure), also says its by a german company.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution- Re-open on: July 15, 2015, 12:45:21 PM
yes problem is crypto is just full of scamcoins now, too many to clean up, and many scaryingling doing every well on the crypto charts, sometimes the more you expose them the better they do  Sad

now my definition of a scamcoin is one created for the purpose of making the devs fiat. all ico, premines fit this category.

only premine that is acceptable, is when by design its distribution methods is via (properly controlled and documented) giveaways or similar.

Has this ever happened?

Good point, I'm not sure that it has, never perfectly too my knowledge.

What about premine that is used to pay for the development?

100% scamcoin.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone got rich with altcoins (with small amount) ? on: July 15, 2015, 09:57:41 AM
Hey,

my question is, have someone done it here with altcoins to get rich?

This mean with a small amount of bitcoins (under 5 btc) make a few hundert bitcoins?

I had a few times the chance, but everytime i sold the coin a lot too early.  Cry
I hate it seeing that "your" coin is rising and rising but you are out.  Lips sealed (and its too late to make BIG profits)

few hundred btc aint exactly rich  Huh that wouldn't come close to even buying a crappy apartment (well in my country),and more then just rich own houses.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin:Alt ratio will be like the Gold:Silver Ratio on: July 15, 2015, 09:53:40 AM
we don't need sliver. that's the point. so the ratio can't be as you say.

not that your statement makes any sense in the context of OP's post, but in anycase we kinda do need silver, in fact its way more important in industry then gold.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is creating Alternative coins profitable ? on: July 14, 2015, 02:12:29 PM
if creating a crypto was about profit then the entire concept would be pointless, cryptos are about being an alternative to the worlds greedy bankers not about becoming one.

1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Litecoin "direct sales" Team is now on Dash? True? on: July 12, 2015, 08:24:01 AM
take in case that DASH is like how much younger than your precious LTC.... and what LTC has offer? nothing, its like a old VHS cassete

NO DEVELOPING Tongue

guys you can poke me as much as you want, but without developing, progress... nothing can go far away

if you think litecoin has no development then you've simply been listening to too much BTT scammers FUD (doing so to sell their 'innovation' to sell snake oil sales pitch), rather then checking out the latest very recently released kickass litecoin client.

1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone know the exact order of the first 100 alt coins released ? on: July 12, 2015, 06:52:09 AM

1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on START? on: July 11, 2015, 10:33:50 AM

1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why LTC isn't following BTC price? on: July 11, 2015, 10:31:48 AM
ltc/btc should be corrected to 0.25 and will be soon enough, even better with the current crap going on with ol clown boy and his crew.

What we are seeing now is a correction, LTC was never really worth 0.03BTC in the first place, i would place its real value in between 0.01 - 0.015.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Litecoin "direct sales" Team is now on Dash? True? on: July 11, 2015, 10:27:54 AM
non of the people/groups mentioned anywhere on this forum had anything to do with the uptrend in litecoin
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whales are pumping LTC.. on: July 09, 2015, 11:35:52 AM
Are holding down btc so when they dump ltc they can pump btc.
Money everywhere.
Anyone concur?

not at all

for a successful pump of any crypto you still need some underlining fundamentals; eg litecoin has a brilliant improved new client (dispite the no develop FUD on BTT), current dramas with btc core dev making litecoin the crypto safehaven, and upcoming block halving.

btc fundamentally at least at this point make it far from bullish, an attempted pump even by the biggest whales would not go far, not until some underlining reason to be bullish.

1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: July 09, 2015, 11:05:04 AM
can see this thread soon turning into a butthurt thread by those who've actually listen to its FUD content  Kiss
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 09, 2015, 11:02:28 AM
Any reason why such jump in price?

plenty of reasons, non the least people using ltc as a safehaven from the current btc dramas. i'm not sure the block halving is yet that much of an influence, days are a longterm in such market activity let alone over a month.

1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin now 2nd on coinmarketcap surpassed Ripple, DOGE next on: July 09, 2015, 10:57:05 AM
yes in reality litecoin was already number 2, ripples marketcap is very misleading.
