541  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin will accepted worldwide for legal then price rising $100k?? on: December 01, 2023, 10:36:10 AM
Of course the price will immediately rise, if it has been accepted by all countries, even at this time perhaps large companies are preparing to buy if regulations regarding BTC or news about BTC goes well. But it's just a matter of time.
Just to be real though, the price is not going to immediately rise even if bitcoin is going to be accepted universally. It will go on a process and as we know that we have bull run and bear market season.

So it's not just be a matter of time, on the contrary it might not happen soon. As we all know that there are countries that are still against crypto in general. Only El Salvador and few nations have accepted it as legal tender. So it's going to be a long battle in the next decade to see that bitcoin is universally accepted or not or USD will still be the preferred medium of exchange although several countries has started it's dollarization.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 01, 2023, 10:13:25 AM
^^ Right, who wouldn't like to see a underdog, specially a Filipino beat the Japanese monster. Before we say that it could be Casimero as he almost got the chance to show us if he can or can't. But now, it's another Filipino, in Marlon Tapales that we will see if he has what it takes to pull that upset.

And there could be some of us who believes that he can do it, or those who just love to bet on a live underdog and see if the can live on that expectation as Tapales is no stranger for making doubters his believers. So we will see, it's less than a month from now, there are promotional video already and Tapales deep in his training in the Philipines.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: December 01, 2023, 09:57:01 AM
So still everything is in the hands of Canelo right now and it looks like he is not going to make his decision any time soon. Most likely he will go on and enjoy the holidays with his family and maybe January will be the time frame to see which fighters will he chooses to fight.

Canelo is done for this year, he'd made two successful fights this year and won via UD. He deserves a break and to enjoy with his family, but certainly he'll come back next year with a new fight, hopefully against someone who could really match him, like the fans will be puzzled a bit on who will win. I know against Benavidez the fans would stil favor Canelo, but at least they'll not think it's going ot be a one sided fight.
Yes, most likely though he will have to take another long rest, usually he fights on Cinco De Mayo, as it's usually a weekend holiday, I expect that maybe next year he will announce who's fighter he is going to face and then have that at that preferred date of him.

On the case about Canelo not fighting a fellow mexican, I think money can change this mind, so let's just watch out for that PATIENTLY.  Grin
If the money is right on the table? yeah for sure he will chance his mind and fight Benavidez next, it's really up to how big the money is for him and definitely if David wanted to fight him, he will agree on a pay cut just to get that chance.

And speaking of that, I've seen title of Floyd Mayweather telling Canelo to do that as he also gave Canelo his chance to fight him when Alvarez was not even a house hold name and couldn't speak English if I remember it correctly. It was Oscar who gave him that big break coming into the America and being seen for the first time by the American crowd and boxing fans. They couldn't believe that he is Mexican because of how Canelo looks.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 01, 2023, 09:08:43 AM
Warriors finally had a good win at home by beating the Clippers.

No GP3, Wiggins and CP3 and yet they were still able to beat a complete squad of the LA Clippers.

Warriors showed some impressive ball movement, the "Curry carrying the team" is not present in this game as everyone has contributed for this big win.
7 players are in double digit, seems like I haven't see this kind of stats for awhile.

Congratulations!
Yes, it was Klay Thompson who really did the damage when Curry is sitting. They build a good lead early and just hold on it, this kid Podziemski was impressive and so are the rest of the supporting cast.

And a needed win for the Warriors to get back their confidence after that heart wrenching lost from the Sacramento Kings.

The Spurs continue with their struggle, losing to the Hawks in a very close game.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware Cyber Pirates strike again and rakes in more crypto! on: November 30, 2023, 09:22:12 AM
These attacks may not be common in my country because hacking accounts does not give many returns, but companies must have good employees or at least deal with information-secure companies instead of paying these scammers who may access personal data and blackmail you with it.
Use a clean computer and do not download random applications if you want to avoid such viruses, and paying a few thousand dollars is not a small sum.
I think it's more of a social engineering attacks that this criminals have been using for years, targeting employees of such companies and get their credentials to be able to get into the system. So company should first teach their employees to catch first sign that they have been a target, like phishing emails and that they should stay away with it.

Same for crypto users, don't simply trust anyone, even if it looks real and you know who send the email, we need to be very cautious and think many times before clicking any link. And obviously, not to give your credentials or connect your wallet to anything.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How discipline are you in managing your bankroll? on: November 30, 2023, 08:49:30 AM

So, you can be managing your bankroll well for years but it only takes a couple of bets to destroy what takes years to build.
Yes, it's true that sometimes when we are disciplined in controlling and managing our finances well, there are times when boredom strikes and we have to bet big bets, that's when everything will fall apart from everything that has been done for years, that's why never make it a pressure and obligations that are required so that it doesn't seem heavy when gambling.
And as gamblers, I think that is part of it, we need to risk, we love to do that because it gives us that freedom and that adrenaline rush. Otherwise if we just stick to what we usually does, it's going to be boring and repetitive and as human beings we need challenge or a change.

At least we can enjoy gambling games well without having to think that we have to control our finances well, just limit the budget that we are ready to lose for gambling, sometimes we also have to be disciplined in setting a special budget for gambling in order to keep out bets that are not needed and will destroying everything that has been built.
That's only one way to look at it, just enjoy and have some fun without looking at our bankroll. And this kind of gamblers mostly played to relieved their stresses on a weekends. I have seen this kind of groups when I played on a land based casino, sometime group of friends maybe around 5, just betting small cheering each other on a slots, loud as it is but you know that they are just having the time of their night at that casino.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 30, 2023, 08:28:07 AM
Ok guys I changed the poll. Our new question is first team to get 20 wins. Which team do you think will achieve it?

Right now Celtics is leading with 14 wins, they only need 6 more. Magic and Bucks from the East, Timberwolves and Nuggets in the West have 13 wins each. Very close race is going on right now.
I voted for the Boston Celtics, seem to be they are one of those teams that are really consistent right now. With Brown and Tatum as their leading offensive weapons, and the the rest just jiving in the right now.

Even KP seems to be back in his prime, unlike when he plays with the Denver and Wizards team. Right now he moves differently, maybe he fells that he is on the right team right now and their chances are very high again to be in the top of the East.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: November 30, 2023, 03:17:25 AM
Do you guys also follow a similar strategy like gambling with 1% or 2% on each game?
Unfortunately, I rarely follow this strategy, because i've mentioned in some of my older posts that I would always go bigger whenever I see profitable opportunities through promotions and contests that I know would give me a slightly risk-free profit.
Same here, it's hard to really box yourself to a certain numbers, we are gamblers, so we take risk that others might not understand. As you have said, like in the NBA that we bet, sometimes we see some underdog that has a good chance to win as per our analysis. So we shell out big money because we have a hunch that who knows we might get big in here. So if we already have like gamble 1% then obviously we don't have the money already as we already used it.

Might be good strategy for others though, as least those who just leisurely played on weekends or only on a few days. But for heavy gamblers who likes to bet at least every other day or everyday for that matter, this strategy is not going to work.
549  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did you think will happen to Bitcoin before January? on: November 30, 2023, 02:13:04 AM
I think after January bitcoin will start to slowly rise because currently, bitcoin is still stable if we can see a price of 40k at the end of this month. Hopefully in December bitcoin can slowly rise and then reach 50k.
Q1 2024 will determine the price of bitcoin before the halving.
if there are good news about approval of ETF then rally in january might be possible, im really eager to see whats bitcoin gonna be turning out in the next year since if you've read many analyst statement these past few month so many people are actually already thinking of next year as the year where bitcoin investment will flourish. basically it will be bullrun all around the year for bitcoin I think.
There's some Bitcoin ETF approval or review along the timeline of January if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, there could be good news for us before the block halving. Or maybe the SEC will deny it again, so it's going to be a continued speculation and maybe the timing of the approval is after the block halving. If that happens then it's going to be a lot of FOMO again and pushing bitcoin's price off to the moon again.

And then we will were those kind of buzzwords, usually we hear it during bull run. In any case, we still have a lot of weeks and months in front of us to accumulate and be ready January next year or throughout 2024, a money year according to astrology.

550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compounding altcoin profits in bull run? on: November 29, 2023, 07:56:55 AM
Using martingale in trading? Hmm. Not a bad idea but you have to be careful at picking what altcoin you will invest with. There's no assurance that every altcoin you invest with will make a 100% profit so you need to consider that too.
But as a gambler though, we all know that martingale might not work because you really need to be lucky and at the same time, deep pockets to double every time. So very hard to maintain this kind of settings specially for altcoins.

I am not against this kind of strategy but like I said, you need to be careful at picking another altcoin because there's a chance this could all go south and every profit you made from the first, second, and the next to it will be gone in just one sweep. You don't want that to happen.
If I were in your position, after making such profits I'd rest and put it in a reputable altcoin like Ethereum or other top rank coins in the market. That way you can assure that the value won't go further below although the increase will not be that much in just a short span of time.
Even if you are still very careful, things might not go against you, and after that all capital being sweep in a blink of an eye. Perhaps this strategy is not going to be effected at least in altcoin trading. Just pick one altcoin or just bitcoin and then accumulate as much as you can and then HODL. It's not as complicated process as what the OP wants.

Anyhow, best of luck to him. Trade at your own risk.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 29, 2023, 04:18:04 AM
Warriors showing their dominance on the Sacramento Kings again, a huge lead at the end of the second quarter. Although the Kings was able to put back 7-0 run in the last 1:30 seconds, but with that huge lead the Warriors are comfortable going in the 3rd.

GSW hitting 18 three points shot, 50%, so that is huge for them. But let's see if the Kings can make a comeback in their home court.

They don't want to get another L from their rival. Draymond Green back from his suspension and playing point as well.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: November 29, 2023, 02:59:38 AM

We can only judge a boxer from their last fight and it seems that Canelo still have the pop in his punches against Charlo and that he won that fight, let's put it that way. But maybe if he will fight a legit 168 lbs, like David Benavidez, not like a Charlo who hasn't been in this division, although he can make weight, but still he hasn't fight in this weight class and he is a super welterweight unified champion.

So that is a big discrepancy already. So we will see him being tested if he is prime not against a young fighter, who is very hungry, wanted to proved that he will be the next king of the MW division and that is Benavidez. We can also hope that Canelo wanted to fight him next, Mexican vs Mexican brawl.

I read one article in my feed I'm trying to find that article so I can post it here but Benavidez is not on Canelo's list, his options are Munguia Crawford, Spence, and the other Charlo he just feels that Benavidez is not yet qualified to be on his list even though the boxing community and the Benavidez camp is demanding it, unless there's a big push for the fight to happen, Canelo will again cherry pick opponents and Benavidez will be looking for another fight to prove that he is the new king.

I believe that the Andrade fight is enough for Benavidez to qualify to be on his list because Andrade and Benavidez are two fighters that are being avoided by many boxers and Andrade took the risk to fight Benavidez because this is the fight to get into Canelo's list.

I think it's time for the boxing organizations to decide that Benavidez should be the mandatory opponent.
And If I also remember though, when Canelo sign with Al Haymon, it was reported that his target is Charlo (either of the twins), Benavidez and Morrell. So their could be changes for Canelo's 3 fight deal with PBC.

Benavidez also targets Munguia as well, and even to go as high as 175 lbs for Bivol and Beterbiev. Also another video of Benavidez surfaces when he was till very young at 18 years old and been a sparring partner of GGG and discusses the power of Golovkin that time.

So let's see why Canelo is still not interested to give Benavidez the chance to fight him.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: November 29, 2023, 02:35:46 AM
One month before the fight, here is the official poster,

However, I don't the video promotion though, there's no highlight for Tapales, he was just shown briefly when he steps on the ring after Inoue defeated Fulton.

Top Rank should have done better than this, https://twitter.com/trboxing/status/1729289372305084627

It looks like the one who created those highlights is biased, are they promoting Inoue too much?  .  That video doesn't look like the participants' match highlights but rather a promotional video for Inoue making an assumption that Inoue will win the upcoming fight.

Anyway I am still curious about the preparation of Tapales for this fight, I really like to see Tapales have an upset win on this but still, I know that is very slim considering how very skilled and all-rounded fighter Inoue is.
It's from TR so they will highlight Inoue more, but I do agree that it takes two to tango in the boxing ring, so Tapales deserves to be promoted as well. Remember that he has the other 2 belts that Inoue wanted to become a undisputed in super bantamweight.

Maybe they can include Tapales as pulling on of the biggest upsets when he defeated, Akhmadaliev.

Yes, his chances are slim, but who knows, Filipinos are known to be very tough and hungry fighter. He might give Inoue a very good fight here.
554  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: November 28, 2023, 01:29:40 PM
Well now it does looks like Do Kwon will be extradited from Montenegro. Last week the The High Court in Podgorica said the legal requirements for extradition have been met.
It is still not certain to which country he will go to. He might go to South Korea or the US.
https://www.theregister.com/2023/11/27/do_kwon_extradition_approved/
Worst case scenario will be Do Kwon going in the US and facing the US court of law as we all know that they love to put people behind bars specially if it is about crypto exchanges, but we will see.

However, if he goes to South Korea and then penalized and found guilty and put to jail, I think he doesn't need to go to US anymore, I reckon.

So we will have to wait, this drama has been dragging more at least a year now.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: November 28, 2023, 12:04:18 PM
The fight is only matter of days because in less than week they will actually meet and this is the first fight for Ryan Garcia after previously experiencing fatigue for the first time against Gervonta Davis.
In this fight, it looks like Garcia will experience some pressure because Oscar Duarte is quite tough fighter.

This is fight to save his name because after the knockout loss to Davis and of course Garcia must win this fight to stay at the peak of his career.
Moreover, this fight is also the beginning for him with the new coach, Derrick James.

Who knows what the final result will be but Oscar Duarte won't just give up and he will put up fight that will really make Garcia feel the pressure for the second time.

The pressure to win is so much on Team Ryan Garcia considering that he is coming from a knockout loss to Tank Davis.

But we should also note that Oscar Duarte is a 135-pound fighter/boxer, meaning this would be his first fight at 140 which Ryan Garcia is comfortable at. I don't know if Duarte still has that power at 140 but definitely, this fight favors Garcia though on paper, this an interesting match but the truth to it is that for me this is still a cherry-picked opponent.
Yes, but many people also criticize that actually this fight is not worth it or is not worth it for Ryan Garcia because it will only have a bad effect on his own name in the future.
If he wins, maybe there is chance to stay at the top, but if he loses, it is very likely that he will lose the popularity at the peak of his career when he was previously an undefeated boxer.

So that what is meant by not being equal because the difference between the two is around 5 pound and from this difference, Oscar Duarte is also not an easy fighter to beat so the situation will become complicated if Garcia loses.
But this is the fight that Garcia chose and he really wants him to be able to fight Oscar Duarte in the fight after his defeat.

You've got a point there mate, but this is Garcia's fight and he should win it. If things go sour and it goes the full 12 rounds, for sure the judges will favor Garcia if nothing significant that somehow could sway the fight in favor of Duarte.

I've read on his social media that he will go for the Davis rematch but not sure about what weight because if that would still be held at 135-pound then the outcome would still be the same but I don't also think that Davis would go up in weight to fight him so most likely he would a rematch would not happen if Garcia won't go down in weight.
He can only go for a rematch at 140 lbs,  but we ain't sure if Davis will go that weight class, he even hasn't had a real belt in 135 lbs and maybe that will be his goal, at least win one belt before he can move up to the next division. Davis is well protected the way I see it, so they are taking first that will not be a big risk for him as it's obvious that hey want to maintain that 0 L on his record.

Hopefully though, Garcia will not be obsessed of chasing that rematch. I mean if he wins here, there are a lot of fighters that he can face and still make a lot of money. Forget about that rematch, and look first for a great win at 140 lbs against Duarte.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not this guy on: November 28, 2023, 10:05:00 AM
This guy is giving me a weird vibe, like a different gambling breed, he knows he have the gambling addiction problem but he just doesn't care, like for real, he doesn't care, the amount he has lost is in six figures but very weird how he is able to handle it.

Some gamblers are different breed to be honest, they don't care about what their present situation is, if they are breathing they are good, anyone know crazy gambler who don't care if they lose big amount of money and they still gamble?

I've get to know that not all gamblers need to be a responsible gambler, some knows, they are not hypnotized by gambling, they are fully awake and they still choose to be a reckless gambler.
I don't think there's something weird with this guy, he is as you have describe, a addicted gambler, so he will obviously doesn't care what's going on around him, as long as he has the money or produce it whatever way he can, he will continue to gamble. Doesn't matter how much he is losing every night.

I know someone who has this kind of addictions and how much money him and her wife are losing every night. I'm not telling it to others though that I know because they will not believed me. But I meet this guy and he has business that generates millions, legally, but he just go and gamble it away.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best game with a cryptocurrency deposit? on: November 28, 2023, 09:05:10 AM
I think that best game is Aviator. Ever tried it? It's like a thrilling crypto rollercoaster where your bet takes a flight, and the multiplier soars as the plane zooms through the skies. The catch? Any moment it can nose-dive, and poof, there goes your bet.  Trust me, the adrenaline rush is real!

What sets Aviator apart, though, is that you can test your wings in demo mode without risking real coins.  Playing with crypto has its cool perks, especially if you dig the whole anonymity vibe. Aviator, though, has this unique charm – besides the crypto angle, you can go on a test flight without spending a dime.

With so many online casinos jumping on the crypto bandwagon, it's refreshing to find a game that lets you experience the excitement without emptying your wallet. Check out more about the Aviator demo mode and maybe find your go-to casino right here: https://westerncapebirding.co.za/aviator-demo-mode . I would also like to hear about your favourites
Nice try to promote that website mate, but I guess this is not the first time that we have seen this kind of shilling for a newbie member. And this is not something new as others have pointed out, this is similar to crash game, maybe they just put a spin on it's name to sounds like this is new. Of course, we can try it with the demo mode, enjoy it and think that we can beat the system.

However, when we play real money or crypto, it will not be the same with the demo mode. Most likely the demo mode is set to give players a win, to give them false hope in my opinion. But when you deposit, chances are going to be low playing this exciting game, go can even lost at 1.01 odds.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 27, 2023, 11:01:59 PM
The Spurs experienced another defeat, previously they also lost to the Warriors but now to stronger team, namely the Nuggets with difference of 12 points.
But in today match against the Nuggets they performed quite well and indeed the Spurs are not balanced opponent when faced with the Nuggets.
Currently, Spurs are at the bottom of the western region and whether they will be better or not in the future is uncertain.

Spurs is still a very young and raw team for me. Yes, they have the number 1 draft pick in Wemby, but he still not enough for the Spurs because they keep on losing and struggling in every game. I think the problem is that many wanted to be the guy in this team, the alpha and the leader. So there could be power struggle inside, you don't know who will be the go to guy.

Sometimes it will be Wemby, and there are games that Johnson is playing good and doing the damage for the team but there were no support. Or it could be Branham or Hasell. They are still trying to figure out everything at this point.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias vs. S. Ergashev (IBF jr. welterweight title) Nov. 4: Las Vegas on: November 27, 2023, 05:38:17 AM

Yes, he is still with a perfect record and he shows in this fight that he can take punishment too and has a good chin. It was test for his early as Ergashev is coming strong with power. But he wasn't able to sustain that kind of pace and maybe when he realized that his power doesn't have any effect on Matias, he started to doubt himself as the round goes and so he quit.

I do agree, Prograis, Romero and Lopez will be a good matchup for him. His style is definitely makes the fights very difficult for this fighter. But let's see if they are willing to fight a pressure fighter like Matias.
Ergashev has solid punches but unfortunately for him, Matias can take those punches and he has a good defense, he alluded to and blocked those hard punches while Ergashev was having a hard time with his defense, and Matias kept pressuring him, Matias proved to be a better fighter between the two this is his biggest opponent so far with a very good record and he made it so easy.
With the way he fights, he can take other popular champions in his division like Romero and Lopez, and can beat these guys.
Ergashev has a explanation though, he said that he can't move his legs in the last 2 rounds. Not sure what is that all about, it could be that he was hit by the power of Matias or we all know that leg cramps in boxing is a sign that the fighter is not rehydrate or at least someone messed it up, like a massage or something that's why he was affected by it. I remember Manny Pacquiao has the same reasons, forget about who's opponent it was, it could be in his last fight against Ugas.

Nevertheless, we can't deny Matias here, the guy has power and solid chin and now a champion that others in the 140 lbs shouldn't take lightly as he seems to be not well known amongst the latest champion that we have right now.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Mining to Gambling: A Rollercoaster Ride in the Crypto World on: November 27, 2023, 04:28:25 AM
Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience diving into the world of mining and crypto. I purchased three L3+ machines and enjoyed a nice profit from hashing on Nicehash for Bitcoin mining. However, with minimal knowledge, I delved into futures trading, following a paid signal WhatsApp group with just $500. I would enter trades with $200, experiencing some quick wins, making $50 or $100, but ultimately losing it all. Despite earning around $3,000 worth in BTC from mining, I lost it all in futures trading.

Then, I stumbled upon a crypto casino online. I deposited $20 and started playing various original casino games, winning about $350, all in USDT, only to lose it shortly after. Despite winning and losing amounts like $500 or $1,000 from subsequent deposits, I eventually found myself with just $50. I decided to play keno, choosing 10 out of 40 numbers. Luck seemed to be on my side as I made over $100,000 in 14 days. That night, I moved $85,000 to a cold wallet and left $7,000 in the casino to make a daily profit of $200. Additionally, I had $5,000 in Binance. The following morning, I eagerly joined the casino only to watch in dismay as I lost $7,000 in just 10 seconds. Frustrated, I deposited $10,000 from the cold wallet, only to lose it in less than a minute. I continued with a deposit of $20,000, experiencing the same outcome. Observing my substantial losses adding up to over $48,000, I then withdrew the remaining $43,000 from the cold wallet and wagered it all in the casino, losing it. Binance also suffered, and in the span of 3 minutes, I lost over $100,000.

That's my story, and I apologize if it was lengthy. I went to bed wealthy and woke up poor again.
It was a nice read, unfortunately, it had a sad ending. And yes it was a roller coaster ride, as a fellow gambler, I know how you feel when you win that big and thought that you can continue to win or at least manage your own capital. But lo and behold, just like most of the gamblers here, most of the time we lost control of ourselves, our decisions behind clouded and all we want is to get back what we lost initially and chase it.

So hopefully, this could be a very expensive lessons for you and to other gamblers as well. I know it's hard to control our emotions, but just imagine what you could have done with that money that you already won without any sweat.
