561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: June 09, 2023, 04:42:09 PM
There's no doubt that Beterbiev has the huge advantage in this fight and I predicted that this is also an easy knockout for him. These people doesn't know Beterbiev and he already improved a lot since his last fight. It won't take too long until Smith will feel the heavy power punches and surely he can't handle that for long. They feel comfortable until they felt those unusual punches that will eventually shake them and knock them down to the ground just like anybody else in his last fights.

He started slow though against Yarde, and I think Yarde could have won the early rounds and he said that it as the strategy, to preserved his stamina along the way. But as soon as Beterbiev got his rhythm, it's just a matter of time before he scored a knockout or technical knockout and that's what happen to that fight.

So if Smith can used the same strategy and caught Beterbiev early, then it might be a good fight. But Beterbiev is very dangerous, just 1 punch can change the fight. And if he caught Smith clean then it might be over. Smith is not known to have a good chin and if Beterbiev's land his signature hook, then book another knockout on his record.

If I can recall it correctly, that was Beterbiev's technique since then as he'd like to feel his opponent first before engaging in a slugfest and see who will survive and who will kiss the canvass first. Callum Smith can use that as an advantage to be aggressive in the first three rounds where Beterbiev is still feeling everything but he should be careful as well because the latter can be unpredictable at times and he might caught a heavy punch if he's not that cautious.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 09, 2023, 03:36:05 PM

Knowing coach Spo who is the master of adjustments, for sure he might have to do another magic in game 4 to tie the series at least and not let the Nuggets takes a huge 3-1 lead.

I expect a strong performance from the team because I have no doubt in their abilities, especially after their victory in game 2. Although they had a disappointing game in game 3, it doesn't necessarily mean they will have a similar performance in game 4. Therefore, right from the beginning, I'll be betting on the Heat to win, specifically by placing a bet on them to win the first half. If, by any chance, they happen to lose, I might consider doubling down on a live bet with the Heat moneyline.

Good choice, I'm also into it because I already know their possibilities against the Nuggets but somehow that will not be a roadblock on the profits that I could win. We just have to have the right eyes and some luck to select the good options for the Miami Heat because it already seems to me that betting on the ML way too early is not that profitable as their chances are not good in the first place even if they are now in their own homecourt.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: June 08, 2023, 07:50:29 PM
How many times have you successfully invited some gamblers to online casino? What is your experience doing so? I know many will find this hard to believe but I kinda prefer bringing in gamblers than investors into crypto, why? They understood the risk already, there is no talk and talk over again, there is no dealing with someone fear and confidence..
~snip~
Well I also feel the same way it is better that they know the risk than to keep on dreaming that crypto is a way to be an instant millionaire.
Most of the time when I am talking to newbie's in crypto they would just think that this is an easy way out, without understanding or acknowleding the risk due to the successful stories that they heard or read online.
It's because crypto has been kind of a trend when it comes to their ears, for them, we're not doing some ordinary stuff like investing/trading stocks because they always say that crypto is very much different (which is true in some sense). And when it will come to that point, it will be a waste of time if I will still continue the discussion because they just don't understand everything I'm trying to say as they just only believe what they wanted to believe.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 08, 2023, 06:27:47 PM

And again, our argument that Donaire is not getting old, might go against him if the fight is going to happen next year.

It's truly unfair for him. Other boxers have already been given the opportunity to fight, while he has to wait for another chance just to get back into action. It appears that they don't want to see Donaire become a champion again, as his presence could potentially jeopardize the opportunities for younger contenders if they opt for a unification fight.

It's not that mate, people surely wanted to see Donaire fighting again inside the ring because only few boxers are still that active now considering his situation. It's just that the situation is not on his favor because Richard Schaefer of the Probellum (Donaire's promoter) does have a current problem that hasn't been resolved which is why Donaire is stagnant and inactive for over a year now.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 08, 2023, 06:08:13 PM

Damn, Josh Taylor's last 6 opponents were all undefeated with a combined record of 133-0-101 KOs. This guy is not wasting all his years while his body is still in its prime. It's sad though that he became inactive due to injury. Taylor could have picked an easy tune-up fight just like what Catterall and Canelo did.

Meanwhile, Teofimo's comment about killing Josh Taylor is foul but actually corny knowing he actually lost his last fight if not for the corrupt judges. I cannot wait for their face-offs. I guess they are expected to be in their own receptions by tomorrow and a press conference is expected to happen later before the weigh-in. Josh Taylor should try something to bully Teofimo and lessen his confidence a bit before fight night.

Yes, that is the thing about Teofimo Lopez because the guy is trying to stay relevant even after what happened on his fight recently. But we cannot blame because that is his way and in-fact, Josh liked it because aside from talking gibberish, he is also marketing the fight.  Although he made himself a laughingstock as people surely know the real score, it's just too clear he is just way out of Josh's league. Not this time, not ever.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 08, 2023, 03:02:29 PM
One does not just succeed in business simply because no body else is doing the same business, so it is rather very wrong to have such a mindset that providing a service that no one else is providing can lead to great success, this is because you can't tell if there are some other persons who have tried providing same service but had to give up due to lack of patronage..

So before you decide to go into gambling consultancy, first do your own research and find out how many users are likely to patronize such a service, this should be the major deciding factor of whether to start such a service or not.
We know what we need for ourselves and how to create our enterprises by writing down ultimate goals to be attained in less than a year. Success in business is defined by the abilities and necessities put in place to overcome preceding hurdles. Difficult times do not endure in business; we must provide everything we have at our disposal; there is no time to begin reducing our efforts; we progress by focusing on what is more essential to us. Gambling consulting is most likely a question of choice; we all have visions for our lives, and we all want to live better lives.

actually, that's a hard field to get into. how can you vouch for yourself that you have such skills in gambling. because they will look for proof that you are successful in this business before they will ask a piece of advice from you. better look for other field of business which can give you more tangible basis of success and people have something to refer on.

Yes, it's quite hard actually. I know that being a professional gambler is a thing that some people can do it successfully but being a gambling consultant, that's like an upper league of being a professional gambler as people will come to you with hopes that they will win big money and will be needing some advice how to do this and that. Of course, talking about big money on the line is included which we already do what would likely happen in worst case scenario especially if that money is something they cannot afford to lose.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 07, 2023, 08:57:47 PM

I can also see the same road as Inoue might continue to follow Manny Pacquiao's footsteps to become a champion from division to division, although judging from Inoue's build, I can only see him having his max limit inside the featherweight or super featherweight division. I may not be correct of course as we definitely don't know what will happen in the future and what is exactly the plan of Inoue in his own career. But let's see, Inoue may have some surprise to us in the next few years.

That's why I'm excited to see this match, as it's Inoue's first fight in a higher-weight class. Many fans believe that Inoue will still be able to maintain his power and quickness, so hopefully, we will witness that in this upcoming fight scheduled for July. Inoue is highly popular, so Fulton aims to surpass his popularity and make a name for himself.

Inoue needs to be swift in moving up and engaging in championship fights if he wants to break the record set by MP, which remains unbroken as of now. If he succeeds, he will make his own mark in history.

Still a long way to go for Inoue, but with his dedication and with how his handlers see his talent, there's a big chance that he will proceed in trying to keep moving forward.

If Inoue will beat Fulton, it will be possible again for him to complete and unify the belt, then move another weight
to challenge the champ. It's a chance that he may take to keep pursuing and to possibly reach or maybe break
the record of Pacquiao.

Yes, it's possible, Marlon Tapales is just waiting on the wings of the winner here as it was approved that he can fight either Fulton or Inoue.

I don't think that Inoue can break the record of Manny Pacquiao though, Pacquiao is not on the hunt for unification during his reign. What Bob Arum and Coach Roach did was to make money go up in weight and challenge the champion and get their belt. He might have defended it once or twice and then vacant the belt to go as high as 154 lbs. I don't see Inoue climbing up to that ladder. He already said that he can go as high as 126-130 lbs only.

I see, and with how each champ from different defends their belts.

It will be difficult for Inoue to climb as the belt holders from those possible divisions to move up are all competitive
unlike when the time of Pacquiao he surprises all the defending champ and snatches the title away from each title
holders.

Inoue surely knows what to do and most probably, he knows that he shouldn't do any hasty decisions so that he will not commit any mistakes down the road. And while he is still a newbie at 122, he should adopt to the current weight first to feel himself if he's comfortable or not and if his body can still manage any additional weight from climbing the next weight class. A lot of factors that the team should first consider because it's not that simple.

That is for sure, Inoue have come pretty far already and they are already cautious about their next move. In fact, if I can remember it correctly, Bob Arum and Inoue was looking forward to have a normal fight, pretty much like a tune-up fight just to settle Inoue's body in the weight class first before having Fulton up next.

But Fulton was already eager to move up plus there's the WBO who gave Inoue the super-champion title which made the situation more easy to have a fight with the champion directly.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 07, 2023, 08:40:15 PM
Looks like Adam Silver will be announcing a 30-game suspension for Ja Morant as soon as the Finals are over.  Pretty crazy to me.  I understand that the NBA has been trying to distance itself from guns and gun violence for years now.  Remember before the Wizards were the Wizards?  Remember the Gilbert Arenas incident that destroyed his promising career?  Clearly, the NBA has taken a no-nonsense policy when it comes to guns.

However, Ja flashing a gun in the background of someone else's video, so long as it is legal, seems like a bit of an overreach.  Although it wasn't his first incident, so maybe the league made it clear this is what would happen with a second incident.

Nevertheless, Ja Morant should know what should he do because he is not just playing for himself because he is now under the NBA management as a whole and playing professionally even if his contract was given by the Memphis Grizzlies. Still, he is expected to uphold the term professional as he's not within any amateur league anymore where he can be a child and play gangsta every time or everywhere he like.

In a turn of events Ja Morant's people now claim the gun in the 2nd video was a toy gun.

They didn't say that weeks ago when the story first broke, but now they do.  Grin
Very reasonable to believe that number 1 wannabe thug Ja is flashing a toy on instagram live, hahaha.

30 games sounds a lot but some people such as NBA analysts and so on even thought it could be a whole season.

In my opinion, he is a grown man. If you want to play with fire, don't complain when you burn yourself. He will be fine money wise, hopefully he finally learns something out of the whole story.

If not, this can end badly.

Their camp is quite too late to defend that story and I know they already knew that Grin

I just don't get it why it took them a few weeks before they started to defend Ja Morant because if they spoke it way earlier, they could have an effect on what will be the NBA's punishment about that matter and most probably, will have a lesser and lighter suspension instead of a 30 game which mean that Ja Morant will be receiving less salary than what he should have. Anyway, none of that matters now as I'm sure that the NBA are just waiting for the Finals to end before they start their plans about Ja.

Im trader over 12 years of experince.
I like to challenge myself iwill use mainly moving average indicator.
My goal is to start with 7$ and in 15 days i'll turn this into 229376$
I'll post here results when i have done this my PNL from binance.

That may be possible mate but I don't think it will be achieved within few days. The market is very unpredictable that you might even lose your profits while you are still trading. So I don't think you'll ever make it but I'm not closing doors for that. Maybe you have your own strategy that will give you life changing profits at a very short duration. Show us some proofs by then.
570  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Addiction. on: June 07, 2023, 12:45:32 AM
This discussion is not about gambling, it is about investing, but I will use gamblers to make an example.

Using gamblers as an example who start out with just the intention to have fun maybe and then along the line turn into addicted gamblers that gambling begin to affect other areas of their life like their wellbeing like they stop spending on some important things just so they can make money available for gambling. Now talking about investing, I think it is possible to become addicted to investing so much that it begins to affect your wellbeing, like the person stops spending on other important things like good food, good clothes etc. just so they can have more money to invest? Do you consider that kind of addiction dangerous and not good?
Well, everything that you overdo makes you become uncontrollable and undisciplined regardless if your intention is to make you profitable. There is a certain time when to best enter and best exit from the market so we should only focus to that, and not resorting into investing addiction as it’s not healthy anymore. Though investing is a good and profitable mindset, but somehow it could also ruin our life with its life changing mistakes and losses.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: June 06, 2023, 10:00:06 PM
True. Forcing your children will not help them at all. But even so, it’s a good thing that they gained knowledge and information about bitcoin because we all know that it could give them a brighter future. However, don’t expect that everything you teach about them will be completely absorbed. They might be facing struggles in life and continue not to love bitcoin, but the good thing is they will also learn from all their mistakes and sacrifices, until they’ll come to realize that it’s time for them to take advantage on every bitcoin opportunity that comes.
572  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How i can manage my job and my Bitcoin Trading at the same time? on: June 06, 2023, 09:46:00 PM

573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: June 06, 2023, 09:19:05 PM
Cryptocurrency is risky, and while we are aware of the basic requirements that must be in place in order to profit significantly, not all of us are aware of an appropriate season to trade. Most professional traders prefer the bear season, which, in my opinion, is the best period to conduct critical study on crypto projects, uncover ethical road maps, and invest in them for a possible solid future. The bull season is most likely harvest time; we reap what we sow in the market. Which season is better for trading, the bull or the bear?
Bullish season will always be the ideal season to trade. However, if you have been a long time trader in the market, you will discover that there are good opportunities to trade even if the market is still bearish. As long as you know already how to trade successfully even if the market condition is not favorable, then it will never be a problem anymore. But you should be more knowledgeable and skillful when trading in the market, as that will increase your chances of making you profitable regardless of the market condition.
574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One or more trading strategies, which one do you prefer? on: June 05, 2023, 09:59:16 PM
I have been in the world of trading for a while, and over the years there have always been controversies over the best, whether to use a single strategy for trading or a combination of strategies.

Personally, I don't have issues with that, many of my trading strategies can stand alone. But experience chose for me over time. I now combine trading strategies and it has helped me to better filter my trading signals for greater performance. And if any of that strategies did not confirm the same signal, I do not go for it.

What about you, what is your preference, and why?
I always believe that the more strategies you learn and master, the higher chances you will be consistently profitable in trading. But if the strategy you are currently using is still working and profitable regardless of any situation in the market, then continue to use and update it also if it’s necessary. Your other strategies will only be reserves in case your current strategy is not profitable and effective anymore.
575  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips on crypto investment on: June 05, 2023, 09:45:16 PM
As newbies when investing in crypto don't be satisfied with your leading knowledge attainment about crypto, endeavor to continually do research on the crypto asset's you have invested on as it would aide you on a trajectory course  about your investment's. By so doing you're not easily taking by surprise on any misgiving that may arise about a portfolio you have investment with.

Another gateway to keep abreast is to get connected as a member of an active crypto community or platform. Having membership of different communities is an added advantage but make sure  they are a genuine platform with a good history just like bitcointalk.

As a matter of fact, it's very unsafe to depend on a single coin. In otherwords, invest into more than one token by spreading your investment into potential coins but be careful not to invest into pump and dump coins. Above all, make sure to maintain risk management in which ever crypto asset you are investing in.
Invest in those coins that have high potentials to be profitable. In short, stick with bitcoin and just diversify your investments with stocks, gold and real estate. That way, if one investment fails, at least other investments have still chances to give you passive income.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Also Girls Should Be learned About Bitcoin on: June 05, 2023, 09:25:49 PM
I’m glad you and your sibling have realized the potentials of bitcoin and it’s a good thing really that you influenced your sister on the positivity of bitcoin. But since she’s a newbie, just guide her in all her decisions so she won’t maximize her losses in this volatile investment. This proves that not only men are capable to engage in bitcoin but even girls too. As long as there is knowledge about bitcoin, then everyone is free to invest knowing they also understand the risks associated with bitcoin investment.
577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: June 02, 2023, 07:17:05 PM
It's essential to conduct thorough research, understand the risks associated with cryptocurrencies, and make informed decisions based on your own risk tolerance and goals. While Bitcoin has gained trust from many individuals and institutions, it's important to remain vigilant and stay informed about the evolving landscape of cryptocurrencies.

It's our responsibility to be vigilant in the first place especially if we are hodling huge funds towards bitcoin or with other leading altcoins in the market, we shouldn't be complacent of the fact that it is performing good in the past few months because there is no guaranteed profits in the world of cryptocurrency. Even the bitcoin, as the most trusted coin, is still risky to invest on. Being informed and keep updated by what is happening will keep us safe because in that way, we can move in what we think is preferred.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: June 02, 2023, 05:12:40 PM
A logical fact with your last question, it's true if there's a real winning strategy we might see lots of casinos that's already broke now.

But the fact that we continue to see more and more gambling business to open up, meaning to say that
there's many losing gambler than those who manage to gain something from the house.

I like that argument that the winning chance playing in the long-term might lead you to lose your money
and that's mostly the case.

Playing long-term might lead you to lose your money as soon as your strategy is below 50% winning chance even with proper bankroll management or when it is below 100% with improper bankroll management. I hope I get the theory correct here, but I think so. In a way this is also included in the odds of bookmakers for sports betting. When they offer you a 1.9 on a 50:50 game, you might win 20 in a row, but if you place 2000 bets on 1.9 in a 50:50 situation, you will be broke.

The OP title is "How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy" and to me that is not possible. You can't have the perfect strategy. It should rather be "optimize" and even then it doesn't translate into infinite winnings.

Yes, I definitely agree. There is exactly no perfect strategy because if there is, casinos would not be blooming since then because the risks of having this kind of business have increased because of that factor. What we only have are the logical ones to optimize our chances towards the game that we've chose plus the factor of luck which is indeed a very good match when it comes to betting but we all know that luck will be not on our sides always, so that brings us back to the most logical strategy.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 02, 2023, 04:40:01 PM
So far the game is going about how I expected. Miami can’t cover MPJ and Ben Gordon. Looks like they’re leaving Ben Gordon open who is absolutely punishing them right now. They’re going to probably switch up and let MPJ run free in the second half. Nice to see Denver immediately exploiting their advantages. Miami is in trouble and we’re only 9 minutes in.
It's Aaron Gordon btw, and he's really punishing below with those smaller defenders on him. The switches Denver are absolutely stunning and I guess this will be a blowout game for the Denver unless Miami make some adjustments and decrease that outside shooting, they're really salty out there especially for Strus right now with 0-6 3PT FG.

Yeah, it was Gordon who are doing the damage and says the guard of the Heat is "too little", so for game 1, he has the impact for the Nuggets.

For Struss, we went scoreless for the first time in a series opener and they've lost big time. Time for him to make the adjustments next game, it might be over if the Nuggets scores 2-0. They haven't been in this kind of score in the playoff, they even went 3-0 against the Boston Celtics. But it seems this is a different team that they are playing and we should also give coach Malone some credit for inspiring his players.

The Nuggets have adopted a different approach this time around. Despite having a size advantage, they are not solely relying on driving the ball. They have shown excellent ball movement and have confident outside shooters. Jokic, in particular, poses a significant challenge for the Heat as they struggle to contain him, and he elevates the performance of his team. If the Heat can find a way to make Jokic's life difficult, there is a chance for them to secure a victory. However, the question remains as to how they will accomplish that.

Jokic creates good impact to this team since they don't know on how to handle this guy since if they guard him he can pass the ball quickly to any open teammates around and also if he left open he will make sure that Heat will pay for letting him shoot. Also Gordon perform very well on mismatches so I guess Heat coaching staff will find hard to figure out what strategy they should use since  they know for their selves that Nuggets is big and fast. If they only rely on Jimmy and Adebayo for sure there's nothing gonna happen since for sure they will just be dominated by Nuggets core.

Hard to deny that the Nuggets are just much taller with the Heat and that made the latter's situation a bit more complicated because instead of only thinking about Jokic's height as the biggest challenge of the team, they are also facing some taller guys within the Nuggets roster namely Gordon and Porter Jr. plus there is Jamal Murray whom cannot be left unguarded because Jokic will no longer have to shoot just like what he did in the whole 1st quarter when he commit 10 assists alone as Murray himself alone can carry the team if he will be left unguarded.

580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: June 02, 2023, 03:31:30 AM
Actually buying can be considered everytime because each day can be considered as good time to buy , but the problem is when we will be the selling.
and that is when the important matter comes , we can wait or not and that is your problem.
Buying it is right when the price is down or when the market is bearish where the price is uncertain, I know buying at any time is good unless you plan to invest in the long term, for example 5 years and above, but many people always do research in buying bitcoin they are then the current that occurs when the price goes down.

Are you still wondering when to sell bitcoins? If you buy at $27K then the bitcoin price goes up to $50K isn't that an advantage? In bitcoin you just need to be patient to wait for the price to rise again even for the long term is the best advice where we have to stick to it, next year will be very much looked forward to because it is predicted that the price will return to ATH again.
It would give us a great advantage if we actually know when is the best entry and best exit in the market.  That way, we can maximize the growth of our investment especially if our goal is for long term. And with the right attitude and patience over our bitcoin investment, it’s a guarantee that we will actually reap a very good outcome after our hard work and sleepless nights. Know that long term hodling is the key to a profitable investment, especially with a very volatile investment like bitcoin.
