That is another instance of how the fiat system is taming the cryptospace. The delisting or the refusal to list of anonymous coins by exchanges under the orders of the regulators.
Ehm. Isn't the main purpose of these coins to be traded back and forth anonymously? I would say it's much better to have centralized exchanges not mess around with them. It obviously hurts the liquidity, but in return you get a greater deal of privacy. Anyone buying such coins from a centralized exchange to finance or buy something the state doesn't want is a dumbo. Also, the actual use of these coins is highly overrated when it comes to their privacy features. Not enough people care enough about what features they offer to actually be upset about exchanges removing them slowly but surely. I expected the use of these coins to pick up, but adoption wise they haven't gotten anywhere. That might be true only because most of the people who are participating in the cryptospace are only using cryptocoins as speculative investments. That might not be true anymore in the future when everyone begins using them as currency.

Anonymous coins might cause the fiat system the greatest harm and we should support those that might cause the greatest harm.

before watching the Nina Ansaroff fight i would have easily gone for Claudia to win but after that fight i am not picking Claudia just like that because of past performance. I am picking Cláudia Gadelha in this fight simply because of her ground skills and i am expecting her to take Alexa Grasso down and win the fight. Alexa Grasso is coming into the fight from a loss against Carla Esparza and i am expecting the same game plan from Claudia too. You are right, Claudia VS Alexa should be another great fight too, in this one i would like to bet on Alexa because i have seen her past fights and i feel like she has some nice potential. I saw her in the UFC in Mexico a couple of years ago, it was a nice show. The problem i see with Alexa grasso is her fighting style, she is not that great on the ground and she likes the stand up fight and she always struggle against wrestlers and you can expect Claudia to take her down easily and control the fight. I bet you had a great experience watching the fight live in the stadium. Claudia also has more experience versus more tough fighters in the UFC. Conor's transformation. He has more bulky muscles than the time he fought Nate Diaz also in welterweight. I speculate that his speed might be affected by the bulk. He might also be stronger, however.

Is bitcoin losing in its fight versus the fiat system? I reckon there is nothing users could do versus exchanges, which might be the real power overseeing everything behind the cryptospace.
Nah. Some day there'll be a significant proportion of people earning and paying in crypto and it'll be the thing they'll want above anything else in return for selling their shit. There'll always be the need for fiat but it won't be the absolute be all and end all as it is now. This is a transitional period. The quicker the loop closes the less power the old system has. Just as their anality reaches fever pitch they may find a whole section of the world's population has drifted away with little requirement to dip into their anus in future. Right this very moment I am earning BTC writing this bilge. I've paid a few people with it for repairs and a few bits of tat and they've paid others with it. Next year I'm renting a place in the US with BTC. I directed the bloke to Bitpay but he said wasn't interested and intended to see where it went. Times that by a few countries and off you go. Someday. How long will this be? We speculated that the cryptospace would disrupt and tame the fiat system, however, it is the system that is taming bitcoin through strict regulations, KYC.

Does anyone know why they asked for payments in BTC? I mean that using a privacy coin like Monero would be appropriate Why do most dark markets still run on BTC when many of them have a Monero option? Because people are lazy and it's more convenient despite the constant risk of it coming back to bite them. My skeptical answer? The darknet vendors might be people from the drug enforcement agencies hehehe. In any case, the transition will be slow, however, I speculate anonymous coins will be the next sought after store of value.

@bigslimvdub. I reckon a 6 month signature or avatar campaign in this forum might help spread some awareness and adoption.
Aeon is ready.
|
|
|
@estenity. bigslimvdub already applied on the new Poloniex, however. Their response was not positive. They were responding to tell us not to respond on their response hehehe.
I reckon we should use a new tactic. Be listed in all the smallest exchanges without KYC hehe.

The skeptical me thinks that this might be another move to create negative news for bitcoin. However, I reckon that this might also be the beginning of a time when some criminal syndicates use the cryptospace not only for drugs, they might begin using it more for kidnap for ransom and extortion.

@bigslimvdub. I am very surprised.
In any case, I read an article that Poloniex was purchased by a group of Chinese investors from Circle and the exchange is leaving the American market.

@morvillz7z. Agreed! Also, I am certain that Baltimore do not want to lose their final game of the regular season in front of their own fans hehehe.

What would be the difference on using bitcoin coinjoin after withdrawal and withdrawing by using Monero coins from Binance? Monero can be more dangerous, I reckon.

I reckon that everyone is very busy on Conor versus Cowboy. We are missing discussion on another battle of 2 sex kittens Claudia Gadelha versus Alexa Grasso hehehe.
@mich. Post the pictures hehehehe.

@freedomgo. I saw the handicap was +13.5 for the Atlanta Hawks before the news. What was the handicap after the news?

@bitpotter. Aeon is as good or better than some of the top projects in the cryptospace. It is stable, private enough and has 2 of the most experienced cryptocoin developers in the world.
There might be nothing to talk about, however, Aeon is ready.

However, to everyone who is reading, will this massive censorship on cryptonews and cryptoshills on youtube not have a negative impact on bitcoin after the halving?
|
|
|
“There is a very real possibility the price of Bitcoin does not go up after halving. For the first time, there is a robust derivatives (futures, options) market for Bitcoin. Most firms looking to speculate on Bitcoin will trade a derivative, not the underlying.
A topic that’s been studied in other commodities markets is how pricing is set. Bitcoin is, arguably, a digital commodity. Normally, producers set the price of a commodity (classic S = D = P from Econ 101) when derivatives take off, producers lose the right to set prices… Bloomberg Markets editor Joe Weisenthal is also skeptical of stock-to-flow predictions. In a recent newsletter, he argues that Bitcoin’s fixed supply is well-known and already priced in. the contrarian in me is thrilled to see these bearish opinions. it seems like lots of people are beginning to doubt the halving narrative. this is a good thing: bull markets are built on skepticism and pessimism. i'd be a lot more worried right now if everyone was bullish and hopeful. let the bears keep shorting bitcoin 5 months from the halving. see what happens. However, what would be your argument for her prediction that investors', assuming she is talking about the institutional investors, preference towards bitcoin derivatived instead of bitcoin? Her argument is that no pump will occur because all money will be in cryptoderivatives.

@figmentofmyass. It is not a hard fork. It is a new blockchain where you need to make a one time swap migration from ETH1 to ETH2.
Is the swap as taxable event?

I reckon that 2020 might be the beginning of the bear market for cryptoshills hehehe. Youtube might be correct in banning some of those videos because many of them show lack of intelligence. Those scammers do not give a good representation of the cryptospace. It might be the season to shill the decentralized uncensorable video platforms hehehehe. YouTube has not publicly stated that crypto videos are against its rules, meaning that users must read between the lines to deduce what is being targeted. Chris Dunn has noted that his own videos were removed on the grounds that they were responsible for the “sale of regulated goods” and contained “harmful and dangerous content.”
The wording of these notices has led some commentators to argue that YouTube is deliberately cracking down ICOs, referral links, and other marketing activity that is related to cryptocurrency. Others believe that the crackdown is simply the result of an overactive algorithm, and that YouTube might reverse its decisions in the future
Many YouTube hosts are considering moving to decentralized and uncensorable video platforms, such as PeerTube, LBRY, BitChute, and DTube. Incidentally, Twitter is also planning to create a decentralized media platform. Though it is not explicitly aimed at video hosting, it is an attempt to challenge heavy-handed content policies.Read in full https://cryptobriefing.com/youtube-censoring-crypto-content/
