601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token economics on: January 11, 2018, 01:33:05 PM
I have been going through dozens of ICO's with shitty token economics that makes nonsense sometimes.

What can drive or make the token economics better? What should  the business model have?

Tokens serve only as speculative tools and very often 1-2 years after completion of the ICO become useless. If there were stocks instead of tokens, then the situation would be much better.

Yes they are speculative tools but believe me, they don't always become useless. Once a working product is developed and marketed, these tokens get really valuable, especially the ones that offer profit sharing dividends to holders.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Undervalued altcoins on: January 11, 2018, 01:13:17 PM
IMO the coins/tokens that are backed by real, working businesses and products. These are the kind of assets that you've gotta have in your portfolio, much like KuCoinShares and COSS.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low value coins are creating Millionaires on: January 08, 2018, 10:44:28 AM
This is only because speculative nature of cryptocurrencies. Especially low coins tend to raise shockingly good just by getting bigger market cap. So this is a lesson to learn, invest and hold LONG.

Not all are purely speculative in nature, some of these tokens/alts have decent working companies behind them, so naturally, the tokens appreciates in value.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: January 07, 2018, 12:45:11 AM
Well I sold a huge chunk of my BTCBTCBTC when they're like $1500. Sold hundreds of Monero when they were still like $10.

Things get shitty man, but the thing is you should always learn from that and get back up.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is ETH gas again very expensive? on: January 06, 2018, 02:15:32 PM
Seems we're hitting a similar scaling situation that happened to BTCBTCBTC few months back. Hope this resolves quickly.
606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: January 06, 2018, 10:59:17 AM
Can i anybody put me through the basics of knowing when to sell and when to hold?...
I actually don't know much about market rise in demand and supply and it's affecting me in daily trade of cryptocurrency.

There is none can tell you when the right time to hold or to sell.

It's easy. Set a goal ROI, it may be 100%, or even 5x or 10x. Hold till you get there, then sell once you've reached the goal. The most important thing here is sticking to your goal.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: January 06, 2018, 10:54:33 AM
They really need to work on getting deposits and withdrawals fast at all times. I've got another BTCBTCBTC deposit that seems stuck, 15 confirms now and still not showing up on my exchange wallet.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Investment on: January 06, 2018, 10:45:56 AM
There are a lot of viable and worthy ICOs and alts currently in the market that would definitely have huge gains in the long term. Right now though, I'm betting on COSS, Genesis Vision, and CrowdGenie.

It's such a good time to be in crypto right now. Almost everything is on all time highs.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experiement: Digging myself out of debt by taking loans to invest in crypto... on: January 06, 2018, 01:31:16 AM
Seeing this is your first time into this space, I suggest you read a lot from the threads here. There are golden threads here that do analyze a lot of stuff regarding alts and they can be really helpful, like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2671597.0

Anyway, I'd suggest you diversify and stay focused. Don't get drowned by all these sudden price movements, good luck!
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: January 05, 2018, 03:42:27 PM
They should has working product or minimum MVP (Minimum Viable Product), nice concept and idea. The project consist of professional and solid team. Learn more about review in some ICO review site and other some review from influencer in youtube really help to more understand the aim of the project.

Much better if they've got an actual working product already. EtherDelta's token generation event for example, is good ICO. Still too bad they didn't do the fees-sharing path.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 05, 2018, 03:36:59 PM
Trade is always a risk, and therefore there is always the possibility of losing money!
Obviously having the right skills, the right tools, studying and informing you can increase your chances of making profit.
no if you do arbitrage trade , take profit from the different price of different exchange and do it as fast as possible. indeed there always a risk to lost but when you have get used to it you will know how to make it always profitable with nearly risk-free.

and of course skills are required , trading without skill will only leading you into a destruction.

Arbitrage sounds simple, but there are a lot of fees involved in that too, you've got to have funds in those 2 exchanges large enough to get a positive net return. Tried it before, it's nerve wrecking.
612  Other / Archival / Re: Ethereum Will the Next Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2018, 03:13:22 PM
It's like comparing apples and oranges, and frankly, an apple can't replace an orange. Same with this one.

Do you have to pick one? Nope, having both in your basket is the better choice.

613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: January 05, 2018, 01:19:10 AM
I suggest you checkout ICObench. It's a site that collates reviews about ICOs and rates them too. They're pretty useful.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs? on: January 03, 2018, 11:08:56 AM
Cryptocurrencies yes they are worth it given you do your homework. ICO they can be worth it too but I find the amount of homework you gotta do outweighs the benefits. Therefore I would stick to investing in proven cryptocurrencies or ones that seem like they are legit. ICO is pure gambling because you don't know if they will come to market or follow through on their promises at all.

Then you should invest in ICO projects that already has a working beta, that way you know it's not thin paper and air. A working product makes all the difference.

I'd recommend some, check out COSS and CrowdGenie.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IGNIS AIRDROP... on: January 03, 2018, 10:08:24 AM
Please be valuable coin you IGNIS, cause dang i almost broke because the fall of NXT price. losing 2k usd in matter of second what a bastard NXT.

Should have expected the price of NXT  to spiral down immediately after the snapshot, it happens all the time. Anyway I also got some stake at IGNIS, hopefully it'll be worthy in the long run.
616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: January 03, 2018, 09:36:54 AM
first you should know the trigger why does the price moving up or down excessively. dont get trapped by the price manipulation from the whales.
if the price movements confirmed as a result of a big news, you can jump into it (whether you buy or sell your asset depend on the news).
trading is just a game of psychology (and money) where whales can bully some people with panic issue.

so far, I am holding all of my altcoins and bitcoin, trade some free money when a good moment has come and I can jump into it.

Actually there are price movements which aren't logical, somehow you've just gotta deal with them. The key to lower your risks is to diversify, and I'd suggest to projects/coins that aren't entirely tied up to BTCBTCBTC. It's a good portfolio that's gonna get you through the ups and downs of this space.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 03, 2018, 07:01:12 AM
yes you are absolutely right. eth is going strong .eth currently has a good price compared to a few months ago. I like this condition.  Wink

It's gonna ramp up a lot more considering we've got a booming ICO market. Good idea to keep bulking up with it.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Token sale, will you buy it? on: January 03, 2018, 05:14:20 AM
Etherdelta running a token sale!! Where did you get that info? But if it is legit, then I guess it is a good idea to invest in it. Yes, Etherdelta was recently hacked but I guess no project is safe from hackers. There are vulnerabilities in every online platform and hackers take advantage of that only. But now I think Etherdelta must have fixed its issues and safer to use. And so a good investment if it starts a token sale.

It's legit, it's gonna run for only two weeks. The thing is I haven't read anything that says something about profit sharing from fees, something that could've made the tokens so valuable.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: January 02, 2018, 01:02:10 PM
COSS/BTC still not working. I noticed they removed deposits of BTC for new acc (a friend created one and could not find BTC for deposit), so they must be aware of the problem. I also sent an email to the support reporting the problem but got no response Sad

They would wanna address this because I created a new account and deposited BTCBTCBTC too, more than 30 confirms already and the money is nowhere to be found.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The Ultimate Guide: Top 7 Altcoins That are Way Undervalued. (Moon time?) on: January 02, 2018, 05:26:17 AM
I wasn't familiar with COSS up till I read your thread and frankly, COSS is a real gem. I agree it's way undervalued at this point.
