1581  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coindesk/This world is scary! on: June 25, 2016, 04:45:01 PM
It's their product, we shouldn't care less with what they want to sell. IMO their target market are finance executives and not the crypto-community in general. These people have the buck to spend and not a lot of time in their hands, so a research report like this can come in handy.

1582  Economy / Speculation / Re: British exit from the European Union How is this going to effect Bitcoin on: June 25, 2016, 04:40:34 PM
there is no indication that the $90-$100 surge in the price was due to the brexit. it's just the well known volatile market action as we are very close to the block halving. whaleplay.

True, this rise could all be due to volatility and the incoming block halving. IMO the Brexit would not be significant with the price movement, unless people start panic buying assets such as BTCBTCBTC due to their weakening currency.
1583  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Post-halving - Will miners still operate? on: June 25, 2016, 03:44:57 PM
i think, in the end, it'll come down to whether it'll be profitable for them to mine based on the price/diff/electricity-cost, triangle.

some miners might have reserved a stash of coins to be able to sustain operation while market is adjusting.
as in they might continue mining, for some time, with loses, hoping it'll become profitable again.

True, and if the price does not cope for the regular miners they'd be forced to turn off, only the most efficient mining equipment will be able to operate. Worst case scenario? China would control all mining.
1584  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Invoice on: June 25, 2016, 11:43:29 AM
Is this an online invoice or some kind of PoS system?

There's a lot of online merchant tools for btc, you can do that even with your Blockchain wallet as far as I know.
1585  Economy / Speculation / Re: CIRCLE EXPANDS TO CHINA on: June 25, 2016, 11:41:08 AM
This is a pretty big deal.

I wonder how the Chinese government will react.

If the volumes increase significantly, they will snuff it out like a bug.
They wouldn't want their tight capital controls to be by-passed.

Or they'll tax it out. BTCBTCBTC is big in China, so I suppose we'll see regulations involving btc there too in a few years.
1586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: June 25, 2016, 08:20:20 AM
I think may be at the end of the day it may achieve that price, as price is at $685 at a moment, so I think this price is possible to achieve today or maximum by tomorrow.
It will likely take a longer time to be able to hit that level but I'm sure for to touch the $ 800 price is only a matter of time.
I think its possible again that the price will hit before block halving see the price right now from 500 level and now increase again to 687 value.. so  i think 700 value this week or next week it will hit in this value..

I suppose the price will even touch $800 by the first week of July. It's really crazy how it can go up and down like this. Im thinking it's gonna make another run for a new all time high, after which it's gonna level down and correct again.
1587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market ended. Now going to $500 on: June 24, 2016, 02:41:07 PM
If it's gonna hold this for about a week or two, then probably there's another rise that's coming after that. We've seen a significant increase these past few months and IMO it's gonna be the trend at least for a while after the halving.
1588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase has partnered with Paypal - Officially! on: June 24, 2016, 01:08:01 AM
It's not fully integrated so it seems like this is barely a first step. Really all they're doing is not denying these transactions to go through anymore just solely based on them being cryptocurrency transactions. It's a decent start I guess.

This is huge news!
Even if only in one direction, it is a major step for Bitcoin. I once suffered a 6 months suspension of my Paypal account for the "crime" of (being suspected of) selling Bitcoins (of course the buyer had a great reputation or I wouldn't have done it)

Was both of your accounts fully verified? This is the first time I've heard a Paypal suspension for a transaction like that.

@ontopic not so much of a progress IMO it's just transferring your fiat balance to Paypal. The selling happens within CoinBase still.
1589  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: June 23, 2016, 05:26:29 PM
Nothing more to say other than invest it  wisely and grow it until Bitcoin reaches and optimal price of course.

Why wait, If it was me and I've got 21BTC, I'd rather spend 20 of it and hold the 1BTC remaining.  Grin Grin Grin
1590  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Dropped to 594.2$ @Preev . on: June 23, 2016, 05:24:34 PM
The price is fighting, back to $611, but this looks like just another weak push. IMO we might be able to see around the $500 level this weekend.
1591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 23, 2016, 05:22:08 PM
Bulls are rebuilding hard. Butler for Zach? That guy has talent but really, are they planning on making him the next name of the franchise?
1592  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Did PayPal approve selling bitcoins for PayPal? on: June 23, 2016, 12:36:47 PM
I've read the post and it's just for BTCBTCBTC sells. I'm pretty sure they'll pass the fees on you. I see no issues with that because it's just transferring your money on coinbase to Paypal. If it was the other way around, that's where we'll have issues.
1593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust stuff like Hashocean? on: June 23, 2016, 11:40:25 AM
From my experience, the answer is no, most of them are scam and the return profit is low, and nowsday cloud mining is difficult to earn profit and the risk is big
nope hashcoin different. they are cooperating with the tools miner "I forget his name" and if memamng using ponzi system. they will be the scam in a few months. but they survive long enough
There were cases of Ponzi disguised as cloud mining services surviving very long time, or even after services like these were out of business it was hard to say if they were totally lying about mining or conducted their operations in mixed-mode. If Ponzi creators are not extremely greedy they could prolong this scheme for a long time... I was fooled before, don't follow my footsteps. Trust no one.

Even with legitimate cloudmining sites like HashNest, it's too hard to get a profit, unless you're trading GHs. Honestly there's not much point in investing BTCBTCBTC these days. You're better off with investing in businesses with fiat.

1594  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have lost more than $100 in a day... on: June 23, 2016, 04:53:56 AM
That is hilarious to see how quickly it is going down like it went up, i think it is normal and we are at price correction phase so after this another bubble will happen soon.

It was to be expected. The price has been this irregular for years, traders have coped up, they knew what's coming. Probably a lot of newcomer speculators are now on a panic selling spree.
1595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever lost bitcoins before? on: June 22, 2016, 05:01:51 PM
Not lost with the full meaningfull of the word, but i invested about 0.5 BTC in some Ponzi schemes and that's was a mistake surely.

Bad mistake. For me, btc, no. But a lot of alts way back then. Could sum up to > 1BTC. Hardware crash, too bad I was too lazy to back them all up.
1596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin , Credit Card, Paypal ?? Best way on buying online?? on: June 22, 2016, 04:58:49 PM
The cheapest is bitcoin but its not accepted everywhere. credit card and paypal are accepted almost everywhere.

True. As for me I use a bitcoin powered debit card through Paypal. Allows me to use bitcoins anywhere Paypal is accepted. I like buying through paypal, they've got the best buyer's protection around. Just be mindful of the exchange costs.
1597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well this has been a goddamn stressful 30 minutes on: June 21, 2016, 05:55:12 PM
There it goes, it's already at $674. It's more than just a correction, by this time, panic would have already set in.
1598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: deposit money in paypal by bitcoin on: June 21, 2016, 05:52:56 PM
how many wants this feature?
actually i love paypal service and hope that PayPal will add this feature in future.
by this process we can withdraw our btc any time in sec.just send btc to paypal then withdraw to bank.
whats your opinion is here any other service like paypal which accept bitcoin...?

I wants this feature?
Why?
Because still many online services and products we can't pay with Paypal.
Because of this I have to exchange my BTC funds through virwox service to paypal, what is very expensive way.
I hope someone, mybe you, will create cheaper and more easy way to exchange Bitcoin to Paypal.

Why must use paypal for online services and products?

These days, we use bitcoin debit cards for online services and products if they don't accept bitcoin.
The fees to use the debit cards is lower and faster than convert bitcoin to paypal through 3rd party.

Also, who still accept paypal these days? credit cards, bank transfer or bitcoin are far better than paypal.

I use a bitcoin debit card too, and I use that card behind Paypal. Why? It's much more secure that way, besides, it's the merchant that covers the Paypal fees, and saves me time to type the card details.

@ontopic don't you have a service in your country that allows you to instantly convert and deposit your bitcoin to your bank account? Pretty sure most major exchange do that.
1599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Browser that will pay BTC on: June 21, 2016, 05:58:06 AM
This is actually a really good idea, I'm even more impressed that it came from a former CEO of Mozilla and that it will be privacy focussed.

Yep they promised that there will be a lot less tracking going on, and you can opt out of the ads platform anytime you like.

How can we do this? Please guide us on how to earn bitcoin when just installing an ads and earning from it. How much can i earn per hour? or per click ads?

Not sure if that function is live now, as far as I remember large publishers are suing Brave for 'replacing publisher ads with their own.'
1600  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freelance sites to earn bitcoins on: June 20, 2016, 03:37:09 PM
you can register at http://xbtfreelancer.com/ and add data-entry as skill, ask for cheap reward and hopefully someone will reply to you, not every business post projects but they only find workers

Vouching for this one. Although the projects currently are more technical. You can find some posting and content writing projects from time to time in there.

If you're really lazy, you might want to try sell stuff on Bitify. Lots of cracked software, nulled themes, and scripts for sale on there although you can find all of it for free in the net, yet surprisingly, some people do buy.
