guys i just wana ask if someone here knows how to play bitcoin trading? and what is the legit site for it? thnx in advance
To be honest, im never trading with bitcoin. Im just trading with alt coins (example : doge, XMR, XEM) , if i got profit from that alt coins, i'll convert that into bitcoin. Im usually trading on poloniex and yobit. Goodluck Care to drop a few tips for us? Like how to spot an incoming bull run. Noticed the majority of alts went red these past days probably because of bitcoin's uptrend rally.

Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be Bitcoin Price After 3 months?
|
on: June 20, 2016, 10:02:34 AM
|
for now I predict that within three months of bitcoin prices could reach a price above $ 700. it is possible if the price of bitcoin increases continuously although slightly
I also think that the price is going to be above $700 but it all is going to depend on what the halving is going to do and what the price is going to be. we have reached over $700, but it only lasted for a short time. to reach over $700 do not have to wait for the next 3 months, 2 weeks ahead I am sure we will be back in touch over $700, because it was getting close to halving and will be a lot of people panic buying Aaaand the very next day after you said that, we're back over $700 again. The price of bitcoin is still above $740 at the moment. I think the price is having a rest before the next push after halving. I think so too, like this would remain leveled till the end of June. Probably early July we'll see some more movement.

Congratulations to Cleveland. I'm happy for every longtime fan who stuck with the Cavaliers and was there through all the struggles. Gritty effort captured a well deserved title and some history in the process.
I did not expect this to happen but the Cavs pulled it out, they have finally won the Nba champions after a very long time. I really thought that the GSW were going to win it when they were leading 3-1. So proud of myself that I bet 3 times on the Cavs from game 5-7. Fortune does favor the bold.

Congrats to Cavaliers. There's a few choice words I can use on the refs as well, but best to hold it in this state. I just hope Steph Curry uses this as motivation for next game, and maybe the refs won't give him fouls by breathing next to Cavaliers players.
It was obvious refs will be pulling it a little for Cavs since like I said everyone wanted 7th game to happen including NBA officials In any case that Cavs ML bet for 6th game was really easy money. As for 7th game truly have no idea who will prevail now, might aswell throw a coin Watched the whole game, the refs doesn't seem to favoring anyone, a lot of the calls were just thin. It just became an issue because Steph was forced out of the court. But really, both sides did benefit from the thin calls.

For Game 7! I also did a bet for a Cavs win for this game. Pretty sure they've got the morale and confidence to fight this one out, even if Green is playing. Hopefully Love would step up for the cavs this time.

When it skys over $1000 in the next 2 weeks, I can't wait for the naysayers to say " its gonna crash" lol lmao
I'm strongly bullish but if it goes up over $1000 in the next few weeks it probably will be followed by a pretty serious correction. Even otherwise, I feel there might be a crash. We have risen too fast and a lot of people are going to be disappointed after the block reward halving. At this point we're pretty sure it's gonna drop. It's about getting out at the right time and buying into the market again.

No I don't think that they are fake transactions, as in some exchanges i am seeing that the price sometimes reach to a much higher value and on yobit I am selling my bits at much higher that the normal price.
These aren't fake transactions IMO they're bots trying to raise the volume by trading with themselves. What's new anyway, even the mining's controlled by 'btc mining cartels.'

Open Bazaar was announced as groundbreaking killer of eBay and from what I see this platform is almost dead.
And I would like to heard about Bitsquare some more, is there anyone who actually traded there?
Dead? What are you talking about, it has more users than ever. But yes the adoption is slow because they dont have integrated bitcoin wallet yet which should come out in the next updates. Both of them need more time to catch on, even bitcoin only had a handful of people in the first weeks, and now it has tens of millions. The same goes for all inventions! Certainly not dead but definitely needs a lot of improvement. The last time I searched there I can't find much other than other cryptocurrencies. I can see JoyStream has similarities with Storj. Wonder which of the two would blossom in the long term.

Anyone received new payments from loans that were already defaulted in LoanBase?
I happen to have received payments just now from 2 defaulted loans. Seems to me they're doing debt collecting work.
I received a micro payment but not the whole amount I invested on the loan just today on loanbase. I received payments on about 3 more loans. Same with me. It's not the full amount of what I've invested not even close to 1/4. No announcements were made or a post on their blog regarding this.

It's probably because you, like most people, only buy an asset when it's rising. My guess is that you're not buying any of the decent altcoins that have been pummeled lately. You have to buy low and sell high, but it takes balls to buy something when it's in the tank.
It's actually a trait of a successful trader to buy high and sell higher. All of the best profits and best volatility is in a strong trending market, such as now. There are no profits to be made in a flat market - it's a waste of your money's time. Trying to guess the bottom of a decline is gambling and still isn't profitable as trading in the trending market even if you get it right. On the other side, trying to guess the highest point of a rise is gambling too. But yeah, traders feast in a volatile market like this.

That is unbelievable GSW could play like that while it was just 1 step away to become the Champion but CAVS spoil their dream with its amazing performance, CAVS played superb into this encounter and i am not happy to see that kind of result because i had my bet on GSW there and now very disappointed to see that result.
With Green and Bogut out they can't defend much from the inside. Game six will be another story with Green playing again. Love didn't do much this game, probably choked out of pressure because it's his first ever finals appearance. Would really like to see Love play more offense for game 6.

LeBron needs to stop passing out last minute shots, its annoying how he always does that when he has an easy layup or dunk. At this point, I would want to see LeBron make quick decisive moves upon getting the ball. No stupid shit like wasting ten seconds sizing up anyone.
Probably Lebron would try to take more shots the next game. I'd like to see more of Love too, if he'll play. Ever since he went to Cleveland he's not scoring as much as he did way back in Minnesota. Somebody should step up along with Lebron. Warriors will go in for the kill but I still see light with the Cavs, hopefully they'll not be in bad morale to start game 5.

Overall I've had an okay experience. Deposits and payments go smoothly, although they need a bit of improvement as sometimes my balance shows zero but it gets fixed automatically after quite a while. You should try it yourself, just be wary. I suggest you do multiple transactions over different times if you're gonna deal with huge sums.

A collapse? Don't think so, but a 100$ correction is possible...
True, I fear even more than that. Price movements nowadays are spikes, so small crashes as correction is quite a possibility. Probably next week? What's your guess?

I've been investing for quite a while with LoanBase back then (BitLendingClub), before they allow you to invest in an individual loan to your liking. I've got returns and the default rate was low. But suddenly there was a wave of grade A and B borrowers defaulting. I've lost a lot. Haven't tried investing in their new auto-invest scheme though.

|

It should be better if you are waiting a longer time until you have to sell it and that is because you must know that the value is now rising and maybe it will be more worth. So just have patience and just see what will happen later in the future with Bitcoin itself.
yeah, it is always better to think of bitcoin as a long term investment. you will always have a better chance of profiting in long term if you are not an experienced trader to trade each day. and also you will earn much more profit if you hold your bitcoins that you have bought cheap for long time like a couple of years.. Depends on what will happen 'in the long run.' You never know, like what if a security bug is discovered, Satoshi's stash is flooded to the market, or mining died down. Worst cases, but still could happen. IMO a middle ground is better, once you're satisfied to the would be profits you can already sell.

Deposited some btc and it said on the site and e-mail that the deposit was completed, which was almost pretty instantly. I've deposited a lot of times in the past and I'm pretty sure I've waited for like 20 mins each time. The thing is, the bitcoin account balance turned to 0 when I refreshed the site. Some kind of a bug?

IMO this wouldn't be stable for too long. With the recent spikes, we're sure to see more price disruptions.
@Jmild1 Pretty sure it's not entirely China that's behind all these movements.
