621  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible that the 1% group want to kill us intentionally with covid ? on: August 25, 2020, 01:21:44 PM
With various talks I had with several people related in the Science industry both doctors and scientist most of them believe that the new strain of Coronavirus is man made for the reason of how it mutates fast as well as infect rapidly which isn't in the nature of this family but for us to assume that the whole 1% is doing this is simply not convincing. The 1% are rich because of us 99% if they decide to wipe us all then their business will be the ones affected which is really showing now where a lot of companies are going bankrupt or at least downsizing. Other than that you will see in the news that even notable people with power and money are also getting infected by these virus, they aren't really immune to this like we are.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 25, 2020, 12:31:04 PM
The bad things for AC Milan fans is, when legendary players of AC Milan join to rival. Pirlo doesn't have experience as a manager yet, maybe what happen with Gattuso, Seedorf and Inzaghi will happen to him. But I don't know if collaboration with Nesta brings something good for Juventus. But if he failed, lot of fans will happy with the results. Not to blaming Pirlo, but to see Juventus fail to be a champions. because Serie-A need another champions now.

For Serie A teams what I see to them is they don't really have a choice but to experiment on their former players hoping for them to be good managers. Serie A isn't really a top destination for managers who are in the Premier League or La Liga the only option they have are legendary managers that are also Italians and even them are hard to sign as they currently love their jobs in these top leagues. That's why even Juventus is taking a risk on experimenting with retired players hoping they can change them. That's the sad truth about Serie A, maybe if they reach to the point where they are really competing in the Champions League this will be the time they will attract high quality managers and also players.
623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investment advice backed by real experience on: August 24, 2020, 11:30:50 PM
When you are trying to answer the question !when is the right time to buy” you should at least give them an idea and not some kind of answer where they will have more questions because of it. Giving them an answer like “you should do your own research” will leave them clueless on where to start. So to give an idea for new investors I think the common rule of thumb is to buy near the support or when the price of Bitcoin had bottomed out since you are giving yourself and your position a margin of safety when it come to the next price action.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla Overtakes the Combined Crypto Market Cap - $380 billion market cap reached on: August 24, 2020, 10:20:30 PM
The current market cap that we have now doesn't really tell the whole story. Tesla right now has that market cap because it reach to the point that they have a lot of investors in the stock market and at the same time having a few shares all in all they have, resulting to them having a bigger market cap compared to the whole crypto market. The crypto market on the other hand is spread out of hundreds of different coins all of which have millions or even billions of coin count in their supply, the more coins they have in circulation the more cheaper they get as well as the less contribution they give to the crypto market, there is no doubt like multi-billion dollar companies like Amazon, Tesla, or Google will overtake the who crypto market as it is just basic supply and demand of its shares.
625  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dips to $11.6K, ETH Options Predict Price Below $400 by End of Year on: August 24, 2020, 09:28:08 PM
But is it really just a price correction? Or Bitcoin is really headed down after all this price movement? Because even if Bitcoin is still in the 11,700$ level it doesn't mean it will clearly stay in the level or higher for longer periods. Just think about why Bitcoin is struggling to move up above 12,000$ or at least stay there because if you look at Bitcoin's volume you will clearly see that the bullish breakout BTC had after March lacks demand you may even see that the volume is rapidly decreasing which is not supporting the price increase of Bitcoin.
626  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-08-23]"Not your keys; not your coins".....? on: August 24, 2020, 03:37:00 PM
As long as Coinbase didn't lack in any kind of notice and deadlines for their users with regards to the hardfork for Bitcoin I don't see Coinbase being liable when it comes to giving the complainant his Bitcoin Gold since they received several warnings already that Coinbase won't be issuing any kind of fork coins. I just wish that the judge didn't say "not your keys, not your coin" at this scenario as people will surely take this out of context and make it a precedent onto another case. I'm just hoping this doesn't really happen.
627  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Japan Plans To Ban Cryptocurrency From Coincheck Hack on: August 24, 2020, 02:22:22 PM
They should chase where the rest of the stolen funds are. I agree that this is just a tip of the iceberg and I think that Takayoshi Doi is very sloppy by knowingly acquiring those crypto from the black market and then setting up a front to hide it. Very shady move indeed.

And still the question is where are the rest? If they track Takayoshi Doi getting it from someone in the dark web then they can definitely identify the source.

A lot of it is long, long gone. I followed it at the time and the hacker was seriously brazen and was not hanging around. They were laundering it through services who refused to confiscate it, or just claimed not to particularly care. They also had some sort of tor shopfront selling it at a deep discount.
I have this question bothered in mind, do you think if the said amounts are sold, should the buyer be considered as one of the alleged suspects? And if the authorities investigate that case and trace the transactions made, how can they find it? There are too many ways toa hide their identity and might they will use dark web users are slick, and every minute addresses change or even in Bitcoin mixer.

Firstly if you are buying your crypto in the internet why would you be buying it on the dark web and not into normal websites and exchanges find in our regular browsers? Just by buying crypto in the dark web you are just making yourself a target for the authorities simply because the nature you buy it is from mostly an unknown origin. Of course the authorities will still need evidence that you bought stolen crypto unknowingly but I'm sure just by buying crypto without any KYCs on the dark web will automatically make you suspicious to them.

Andrea Pirlo rumored will bringing Alesandro Nesta to build Juventus. I don't know it will work or not. Since they are still new. About Allegri to Inter Milan, maybe they are still need time to take a decision. Even Conte can't bring scudetto for Inter, Conte doing a great job for Inter. Inter need to give conte another chance for next season

There was a time in Milan where both Nesta and Pirlo played together and from what I recalled Nesta and Pirlo was on the same team when Milan won their last Champions League Finals during 2006-2007 season. From what I can tell Nesta might be one of the best candidates out there as assistant as Nesta previously became captain of Milan shortly after Maldini retired and he has a lot of experiences both within the league and international plays. However I don't think Nesta will be prepared to adapt such a big leap going from coaching and managing a small team and then managing the top club in Serie A, he might not be able to adjust well.
629  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitNorm Beta Test is live on: August 24, 2020, 12:13:02 PM
The way I describe this website I feel like it is a mixed between LinkedIn and Tradingview for cryptocurrencies as people can create "relationships" and connections with one another and at the same time share and provide analysis in the crypto market. Overall this idea is good and beneficial for everyone but the thing about this kind of projects in order for them to be successful is of course the users who will be actively using it. I've seen a lot of projects in the past where even if they have a good project they fail to thrive because they don't have any users using their services. I would suggest for your BitNorm project in order for it to be more successful is you also need to focus on your marketing side.
630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitpay alternative on: August 24, 2020, 10:54:43 AM
If you are looking for a payment processor for you to just automatically convert your Bitcoin payments to a stable crypto or fiat currency I don't think it is a wise idea for you to avail any payment services as this ones will cause you several fees from their services as well as exchange rates, for example Bitpay as well as Coinbase Commerce is known to have huge fees for the seller side and even running a BTCpay server will be costly to you. You might just want to reconsider and just converting your payments on your own in an exchange which I think you have a chance to maximize your payments.
631  Other / Meta / Re: All blame to bounty hunters. on: August 24, 2020, 10:03:11 AM
I don't blame the bounty managers in general onto their contribution to spam and shitpost in the forum but you will see that there are some that accepts bounty participants who just post whatever they want to say just to have payout in the campaign. These types of participants should be remove or at least warned by the managers as it bad for both the image of what they are promoting as well as what they are saying in the forum since they aren't really contributing anything to the forum. Just think about it the less shitposters being accepted in a campaign the more likely they will be inactive in the forum.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Lithuania President gifted crypto to Estonian President. on: August 23, 2020, 11:09:55 PM
So I started searching what “LBCoins” are and why the Bank of Lithuania is issuing it and the thing I found out is thdy are not cryptocurrencies but more of a digital collector coin that also has a physical version of it as also explained in their announcement video. So I don't think its a crypto related news but more of a blockchain related news since their collector coins uses blockchain in keeping track om the digital versions they are releasing.
633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Google Opens The Door To Mass Cryptocurrency Adoption on: August 23, 2020, 10:21:49 PM
This isn't really an improvement on to anything, Google Pay being a payment solution would really open its doors onto anything as long as it is legal as the more they cover everything the more they will profit from their service as their service is widely available onto various businesses. The same thing happened for Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards where you will see their availability in major exchanges since these companies don't see the "adoption" we are looking for but the earnings they will have from the crypto industry. Just don't overthink this one just like how the author of the article is assuming things.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoins before the upcoming banking crisis states author of Rich Dad Poor D on: August 23, 2020, 08:24:24 PM
For those of you who don't know Robert Kiyosaki has been known to publicly support Bitcoin since 2017 and during that time he also publicly says that fiat currencies particularly the US dollar will collapse, but what can we get from it? None because Robert Kiyosaki's reputation as a good investor has been destroyed ever since he declared for bankruptcy for his company. Now I only think of why he is tweeting his support to Bitcoin because he is just using the millions of followers he still has and is hoping that he can hype things up because he is holding a considerable amount of Bitcoin on his side. Anyone who has a big amount of follower is doing that, they aren't really saying investment advice but they are hoping that the people reading them can make them more rich not the other way around.
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is it when the year will be over there are always talk about the price on: August 23, 2020, 07:09:55 PM
They are probably newcomers in the market who asked questions first after buying Bitcoin or any crypto in general they think that long-term price projections is something that can be done accurately in the crypto market just like any traditional markets out there when in fact they are very inaccurate due to volatility and unpredictability of the market. Yeah sure there are people who called it out early that this will be the price on this time and they got it correctly but these people who predicted the price right never had a chance to do it again. If you want to have a more accurate prediction when it comes to price movement I think you should just look at short term charts not more than 3 months as anything longer than that will make your price prediction inaccurate.
636  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-08-20] Restaurant Converts Entire Cash Reserve to BTC following Cov19 on: August 23, 2020, 06:29:55 PM
It's all because of the restaurant's owner being involved in investment and seeing crypto assets as an opportunity for their cash reserves. Their owner being an investor have seen all the markets fall in the start of the spread of pandemic now that they are recovering it's actually smart for him to stay away from traditional markets and move to otger markets like the crypto market where it had showed that it can quickly recover into a a crash cause by yhe pandemic and panic. But I'm not surprised that abusiness owner who has extra cash will do this kind of move.
637  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Japan Plans To Ban Cryptocurrency From Coincheck Hack on: August 22, 2020, 10:57:09 PM
I think this news is a little bit outdated now or at least is not saying the right thing since the court is now ordering a seizure for the connected coins involved in the Coincheck hack. Although all the news I have read that is connectrd to this so far is still unclear on how the caught this people it looks like they have track them in the dark web as knowing purchasers of the stolen crypto.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 22, 2020, 07:32:59 PM
Yeah great another disappointing seeding for the Knicks whats new lol.  They haven't nailed the lottery since the Ewing draft.  Slot 8 is the worst spot.  Makes me cringe thinking back to when GS picked steph 7 and the Knicks ended up with jordon hill 8th lol.  Ever since I'd rather have the knicks a spot lower Smiley  either way its an unimpressive draft this year, think minnesota should go with Edwards or Wiseman, I'd steer clear of the ball family

From what I see in the draft and what the subreddit of the Minnesota Timberwolves is saying this draft class doesn't really have a clear number 1 prospect unlike the 2019 one where Zion Williamson is the clear prospect so this is pretty much a shallow draft for them to pick on. Another feedback I have seen is that if the top prospects are guards and a center from Wiseman they are likely to trade the pick for a proven prospect like John Collins where Atlanta is reported to be interested in the #1 pick. Edwards and Ball might be the top priority in the draft and Minnesota has a loaded rotation in this area with D'Lo and Malik Beasley being proven to be good for the team, aside from that they are lacking a good caliber SF as well as PF not to mention lacking defensively and no top prospect in the class can answer those areas they are lacking.
639  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptoEarn(.)com - What would you turn it into? on: August 19, 2020, 03:36:02 PM
I agree with aioc this type of domain name is more suited for freelance type of website specialized in crypto other than that I don't see it's real value if you will just focus on something like a faucet. Also if you are looking for idea OP if a lot of people are inquiring you about the domain name already I mean you will have a lot of ideas now on what they want to make out of it with the proposals they are giving you. You might want to edit your OP and include their suggestions/proposals for us to judge if they will be good for your domain.
640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to DYOR in investing on: August 19, 2020, 03:18:12 PM
Project itself (and the technical solution they offer):

Read the project white paper and start by asking yourself: "What problem does this solve?". Many projects are solving made up problems that can be solved with databases, or they have been solved already. They don't need a bulky blockchain. Some projects just put the word "blockchain" in there because it's a buzz word for easy funding from gullible investors that are incapable of doing research themselves.

I think after answering this question the next question you should as is if the team can do what they are trying to solve. Because even if they have this good unique vision and project if they don't have a team that can do what they are envisioning then this project will be stalled and probably lack any kind of development. That's why the project itself should also always be matched if their team can do what they want to do, this is really crucial for investors to see if they are looking for a potential in a project.
