I Don't know what else the Manchester united board wants to see before they are convinced that Ten Hag isn't the man for the job
Manchester United have hired and fired quite a lot of managers ever since Fergie retired, and looking at United's performances this season, it is easy to predict that Erik Ten Hag is going to go in the same way, he'd be fired sooner or later. Having said that, even if he is fired, that would not solve Manchester United's problems, they would still be struggling because the club has already lost its winning mentality and these days other clubs are no longer scared to play United, because they know that they can beat them. I don't know what Manchester United needs to do to get back to glory days, but i am pretty sure it would not happen anytime soon.

Ten Hag had all of such supports so if he fails with given tasks to improve the club, he really deserved to be sacked by Manchester United. Maybe this season ending will decide he will stay in Old Trafford or will be sacked.
Erik Ten Hag's future in Manchester United depends on where they finish this season, if they end the season disappointingly, i am pretty sure the patience of those at United's hierarchy would run out and he'd be fired. United have started the season in the worst way possible: eliminated from the Carabao cup, 8th position in the league table, won only 1 game out of 3 in the CL and could well be eliminated from the group stage.

Ten Hag is under quite a lot of pressure, this is not what the fans want to see, and TBH i cannot see a change in fortune happening, thus it might actually be inevitable that Erik Ten Hag would get fired, sooner or later.

if you are not comfortable with KYC you can try https://localbitcoins.com/ but it's only for bitcoin
You didn't check the link that you just posted, LocalBitcoins closed earlier this year and they have discontinued their service, that's even the first thing you get to see when you click on the link that you shared above; at the time LocalBitcoins shutdown their operation, they were not even a peer to peer exchange because they do request for KYC, but that's not the point here anyway. AgoraDesk and Bisq are some of the options you should recommend as exchanges with no KYC policy.

Also has anyone ever heard about purchasing insurance from digital insurance companies when transferring funds around the digital landscape?
Nope, i have not heard about it, where did you get this information from?

There is nothing such as this and it is most likely that scammers are trying to take advantage of your lack of knowledge about the cryptocurrency industry. Mind you that you are your own bank when you use Bitcoin and you are responsible for your own funds, and if you lose it, it cannot be reversed. There is no insurace company in the crypto industry that covers users losses or helps them recover their funds, whoever is selling this idea to you is a scammer and any money you send to them is lost.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 01, 2023, 11:30:59 PM
I'm curious about one thing as well. There is the Cup of Nations in January therefore Andre Onana is going to be a part of this tournament as well. This means that he will probably miss seven games with Manchester United. As a result I wonder whether the Red Devils would plan a goalkeeper transfer on loan at least.
I think Manchester United needs another goalkeeper, not one that would come on loan, they have to sign another good goalkeeper, so there can be competition in the goalkeeping position, i even think it would help Onana to improve a lot, right now whether he plays bad or not, he knows he isn't going to be dropped because there is no competent replacement.

A new goalkeeper in January must definitely be in their plans, and once Onana is back from the African cup of nations, he and the new goalkeeper can now start competing for who would be number 1.

Manchester United won the match against Copenhagen I would say by mistake. Their performance was not good. Manchester United's performance was poor in this match as well. Manchester United would not have won this match if Copenhagen player Jordan Lorsson had not missed the penalty.
Mamchester United have been very far from their best, but all they needed in that game was a win, irrespective of how 'ugly' the win was, United are having a very poor run in both the EPL and CL and that has affected their confidence so much. Erik Ten Hag knows that elimination from the group stage of the CL would be a disaster and so United has to win at least two out of their remaining three matches, they have to beat Copenhagen in their next game and the decider could be their clash with Galatasaray, they are in a very difficult group and they could possibly be eliminated.
687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "change password frequently" on: November 01, 2023, 01:43:23 PM
If you suspect that your device/account has been compromised, changing your passwords immediately is a must, but there is no need to change your passwords periodically for no reason, so long as you set a strong and unique passwords from the outset.
but someone can say it's better to change your password once a year for extra security.
Changing your password does not give extra security, except you are changing from a weak/overused one to a strong and unique password, but if they are both strong then it is the same security. I think one should just set a strong password and then ensure that they do not do things that would get their device compromised.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: Steam drops support for 2 fiat currencies over their volatlity on: November 01, 2023, 12:51:47 PM
Whether Steam is doing this because of volatility or because they aren't making profits off the customers of the said countries, the fact is that the U.S. dollars is far more stable and traded than most currencies around the world, and it is only normal that international businesses/companies and even some countries replace their local currencies with the U.S. dollar. With the high rate of inflation in my country for example, i for one would want to be paid in the U.S. dollar instead of my local currency in my workplace. The U.S dollar isn't free from volatility/inflation, but it is a whole lot lesser than in other parts of the world.
But down the road they may add BTC,
Steam were previously accepting Bitcoin, but they've stopped for a very long time and that's since 2017, because of high fees and volatility. Except you are saying they are going to start accepting Bitcoin again, which i don't think is going to happen.

Currently, although Chelsea is poor, coach Pochettino's position is temporarily guaranteed. We need to give him time to find a way to lead the team to victory. It can be said that Chelsea is making significant changes this summer and needs time to stabilize. We should wait and see.
Of course Pochettino would be given more time, but how much time is enough and for how long would those at the hierarchy be patient with him, i always say that i think Chelsea's problems started when Todd Boehly sacked Tuchel, and it was just a way for him to establish his authority, because how do you fire Tuchel only to hire Graham Potter.

Having said that, sorry to Chelsea fans, but i can't see this team being successful in a very long time, buying players is not all that matters when building a team, you need to buy the right players and have a manager who can handle them, and currently Chelsea is lacking all of that.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 30, 2023, 09:06:54 AM
This match shows that ten Hag was unable to create a team that could compete for the championship, moreover, I doubt that they have a chance to finish this season in the top 4. For ten Hag, everything is even worse, I guess that he could lose his place on the team. Manchester United scored only 11 goals in 10 rounds, a very bad indicator, the same goes for the defense, they concede a lot and obviously ten Hag is not able to change this.
That has become the objective for Manchester United every season in the league, to try and finish in the top four, it must be hard for their fans to come to terms with that, after being so used to seeing their team challenge for all trophies for a very long time. They have tried different managers, signed so many good players, but once they wear the United shirt, their form drops significantly, it is almost like United is now a club you shouldn't come to if you want to win the biggest trophies and stay at a very high level.

Having said that, i don't think they will sack Erik Ten Hag just yet, he'd be given this season at least, and if he will be sacked would depends on where United finishes and how they performed overall in the season.
691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How hacked assets are made re-usable? on: October 30, 2023, 08:58:30 AM
1. Hacking and stealing the bitcoin is the first step and the second step is when the hacker will cover all his track to make sure that he can't be traced. After they have seen that their is no trace, the bitcoin is sent to a mixer or an exchange to make it clean.
How do you cover your tracks without using a mixer/coinjoin, you are getting it wrong here; without using a mixer/coinjoin anyone who looks at the blockchain can link the input to the output and still keep track of you. Mind you that mixers/coinjoin isn't only used by hackers, if you want privacy when using Bitcoin you have to use mixers/coinjoins.
2. Yeah there is tainted bitcoin and those are bitcoin gotten from illicit activities and even exchange that is not registered under the government that has bitcoin, the government can label it tainted bitcoin.
Do you worry about tainted fiat, or if the fiat currency in your pocket was used to buy drugs or was used as payment to a criminal, that is how ridiculous it is to say some Bitcoins are tainted and hence not fungible.

If the forum owner could encourage such members also to share the forum with friends and family, this forum can see huge growth.
There is nothing special in inviting people to join Bitcointalk and i don't think the forum is lacking in traffic or number of users. Notwithstanding, if you know people who have an interest in Bitcoin or have questions regarding Bitcoin and other whatnots, you definitely have to invite them to come here, the problem is when you begin to invite people who have zero interest in Bitcoin and who think they can pick up some quick money here, that's how we get more trolls, bounty hunters and low-level spammers.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 29, 2023, 11:35:02 PM
Expectations are no longer high as almost everyone has known that Manchester city will win Manchester United.
Lol, remember that Manchester United beat City in Old Trafford last season, Wink well, i get your point; City have been favorites in the derby in recent years now and United fans have to accept the fact that they are currently far behind City at the moment; the gulf in class is so palpable that i can't imagine the next time we'll see United finish above City in the league.
But for Today's Manchester Derby, I will rather blame the coach for wrong choices. Despite that so many players are not available to him and City has more quality squad, he would have done better if he played Anthony on the right and Bruno in the number 10 position
If Anthony plays, fans will complain that he didn't play well and maybe should not have started, if Anthony starts on the bench, fans will question the decision to bench him, it is what it is, and even if Anthony played today, he would have had a very quiet game, just like all United's attacking players did.

There are also some apps that we need and when we download them through playstore then it is ok.
Downloading something through Playstore doesn't mean that it is safe, there are a lot of fake and shady applications you can download through Playstore. If you want to download a wallet, do so through the original website; and finally do not use your wallet in a device that you use to carry out all of your online activities, get a hardware wallet so that your wallet will be offline and safe.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that are good for long hodling in this season. on: October 29, 2023, 01:34:03 PM
Do you think this two altcoins are good in long hodling in this season?
Altcoins are generally short term projects because quite a lot of them are nothing but pump and dump. Ethereum has been in the market for a long time and despite the fact that there's been a lot of bad decisions from the developers/founder, especially in the decision to move from POW to POS and make Ethereum a whole lot centralized, it might still be the only altcoin that is worth hodling. Mind you that you shouldn't hodl too many altcoins, especially for the long term (if not you'll become a bagholder), sell your alts when you have made ROI on them, and even if they are dumping, sell them to cut your losses.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 29, 2023, 12:18:00 PM
I think it's still too early to predict anything about Barcelona. , they have to improve a lot of their shortcomings to be able to perform even better.
Barcelona fans and their hierarchy have to be very patient with Xavi, they cannot win the CL this season, and i don't think it is going to happen anytime soon, last season Xavi managed to win the LaLiga, but they were eliminated from the CL in the group stage. There is progress this season, because they have won 3 out of 3 in their group and they are almost certain to qualify, but how far can they go? I don't think it is possible for Barcelona to go past the QF stage of the CL this season, they were used to being contenders of the CL every season, but not anymore and their fans have to live with it.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 29, 2023, 11:25:47 AM
I hope Nkunku returns as soon as possible because Chelsea just can't go on like this being too inconsistent about scoring.
Mauricio Pochettino said Nkunku is expected to return pretty soon, so that is good news for Chelsea fans, he will improve the team and bring goals, but i am afraid that is not going to be a panacea to Chelsea's problems, their struggles go way beyond what one player can solve and i think it stems from the hierarchy at the club, down to the players.

Having said that, this Chelsea squad are going to need at least 2-3 seasons together, before they can start playing well, i also think they need a very strict manager who can stamp down his authority, both to the players and the club owner as well, a manager that would identify the players he wants the club to get, and not the other way round all the time.

I am not familiar with Ethereum, tokens or Altcoins generally, what wallet was the person using, because i know that good wallet softwares for hodling Bitcoin do disable taking screenshots of your seed phrase.
The funds were moved to Binance exchange and sold, we are now hoping that Binance help in this case because he filed complain to them and hopefully the scammer already KYCed on Binance exchange.
Definitely not a shrewd scammer for sending the funds to Binance, but mind you that some of these scammers use fake (bought) accounts even on KYC exchanges. BTW, i doubt Binance would even be of help to you here, how much was lost?
699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: UTXO Management Best Practices on: October 29, 2023, 10:17:15 AM
If I have a UTXO of any meaningful amount in the future and make a transaction, the recipient can see the change and know to some extent how much bitcoin I have, right?
Yes, just like when you want to buy an item of $50 with a $100 bill, the seller would return a change of $50 back to you, but they know at that moment that you have $50 in your pocket. Coin control is important for privacy reasons and you should use it to select UTXO's that you want to spend. Or you can send the UTXO through a mixer and receive in it in new and unused address before making the payment you want to make.
Therefore it may be prudent to have UTXOs of a decent size for cost savings but not large enough to reveal meaningful holdings.
Different wallets actually does the trick, one wallet can hold the majority of your funds, you would not want to use a wallet hodling 10 BTC to make a small payment to a friend or to buy coffee, and another wallet can hodl smaller amount of funds.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 27, 2023, 05:15:54 PM
Another stupid decision made by Chelsea to sign Sanchez who play like a shit similar to Onana, and let their good goalkeepers to play to other team/leave e.g. De Gea and Kepa.
Robert Sanchez and Andre Onana aren't terrible goalkeepers, the both of them have had a pretty bad start to life in their respective clubs, but they can improve in the long run, it is not uncommon for players to struggle to adapt when they join a new club and that's prolly what has impacted their performances. Having said that, i agree that maybe Manchester United shouldn't have let De Gea leave the club, i think he is a better goalkeeper than Onana, and as for Kepa, i don't rate him so highly and his transfer to Real Madrid is a loan deal and he could return to Chelsea when the deal expires.
