As JSRAW pointed out, Bangladesh was 213/5 at one point. Everyone were expecting that they would easily get to a total of 300. But then they lost wickets very quickly and ended up at 227 all out. Ravichandran Ashwin and Umesh Yadav just wrecked the Bangladeshi lower order and tail. And I was baffled about Litton Das batting at no.6. He is their best batsmen and could have been better utilized at no.3 or no.4. Mominul Haque was the only Bangladeshi batsmen who could score a half century and even he got out when it mattered the most.
Even i was surprised when i saw the scorecard that Bangladesh was all out for 227 runs, i was expecting them to score above 250 runs and was thinking about placing a bet because India surprisingly dropped Kuldeep Yadav which is surprising and glad to see Ashwin back in the wickets column. India had a great start and it is going to be another one sided game.

I think women’s IPL is going to be a success. But other than that I don’t have much hope for women’s cricket in this subcontinent area. The only reason why women’s IPL  will probably be a success is that India is actually serious about women’s IPL right now. And India is also quite serious about women’s cricket as well. And it is sure that women’s cricket is not going to get any popularity in that one-day format. T-20 is the format in which women’s cricket will succeed. I hope the women’s World Cup will make the teams interested to play better because that is also going to help to increase the popularity of women’s IPL.
The success of the tournament depends whether the fans will turn up for the matches to watch them play like the men's IPL and if that happens then it would be a great success and probably get more fans for the sport. But generally speaking, i really doubt it would create any ripples. How many here watch Women's sports anyway  Cheesy. The only time i watch is when i am planning to place a live bet on the match.

I think that Dogecoin will still be the "King of the meme coin" when Elon musk pump this last year and it might happen soon again if he tries to post it again when BTC pumps up for sure. And just like everyone says that it's best to hoard more Dogecoin while it is cheap and I would say that's the best plan right now as long as you really take the risk.
Dogecoin is the King of meme coin and there is nothing that will replace that and that being said the last bull run was the best run the meme coins had and i really doubt we will see anything like that again as we are expecting tighter regulations and moreover the investors coming in will be focusing on the BTC rather than a ton of meme and shit coins Wink.

~
The Dogecoin price seems incredibly bearish and if Elon Musk quits as the Twitter CEO, the token may be badly impacted. Earlier Coinpedia made dogecoin price prediction for the end of 2023, as $0.158. But with current news it wants us to rethink and ask – is doge coin dead?
He does not need to hold the position of the CEO if he planning to implement Dogecoin as the main coin for Twitter, it is a private company and he is the owner Tongue.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 21, 2022, 05:53:09 PM
~
I am going to stick to my words and say that UFC is not in its prime days anymore. But as you said, the dream of every kid as a fighter is to fight in the UFC. Because even though UFC is not in its prime anymore, UFC is still the biggest mixed Martial art organization till now.
To rest this debate, i will ask you to check the revenue they are earning in the last 6 years and the revenue they used to earn before that. UFC is more popular and mainstream at this juncture and there are more fans globally watching the sports than ever and you think that it is not the prime days for the UFC  Cheesy.

I don’t think there is any organization that can even get close to the UFC. The popularity of the UFC has certainly decreased, but still, other organizations like the Eagle FC or anything else have not even come close to that UFC. I think there is another reason for that which is a lot of popular fighters are choosing to go into boxing right now because that brings a lot more money than the UFC.

Another thing is, I would say, that the popularity of the UFC is certainly decreasing, but not at a level that can be considered as “dying“.
There was a time when there were Organizations like Pride, Strikeforce, Dream which were more popular than the UFC during that time period and the best fighters were on those promotions but eventually they all closed their doors and now UFC is the only major player. I think you have the wrong theory about boxers making huge money than MMA fighters.

In boxing only the top draw makes the money which is the main event, the rest of the fighters in the card makes much less than fighters in the UFC. So the idea of making money through boxing you need years to reach those level and not everyone reaches those levels nor becomes a champion but in MMA you do not need to be a champion to make half a million dollars per fight.

We could also argue that Argentinian goalkeeper didn't deserve a golden glove. Look at this comparison between Martinez and Livakovic:
So do you agree that Martinez deserved a golden glove reward as the best goalkeeper on the tournament?
Comparison charts will not give you the bigger picture, Emiliano Martínez impact is evident when they played against Netherlands and he was able to hold on to his position during the penalty shootout and the same happened during the final against France. His saves impacted the match during crucial situations and hence he is adjudged the best goal keeper.
686  Economy / Reputation / Re: It sucks that 1xbit still runs on: December 20, 2022, 07:26:36 PM
~
One of the reasons 1xbit is having more customers (if the gambling site is having more customers), is because it is advertising even beyond this forum, I have seen its ads on many other sites too.
They are not just advertising online but sponsoring major sports leagues as well, this year PSG announced them as their regional partner in Africa and Asia and i have seen their advertisements in television. What is surprising is that they are still active and these major sports teams are taking these sponsorship despite all the scam accusation and even refusing to pay millions of dollars to the users even after a court verdict.

~
If 1xBit and 1xBet are the same company, maybe it would be good to write a petition to FC Barcelon and Serie A to take a closer look on this matter and stop advertising this scammers?!
Do you really think they are unaware of these scam accusation, just a google search would provide all these details and these teams are only interested in taking the money rather than looking for the reputation of the club.

One of the best finals and i thought Argentina will win the match easily but Mbappé played one of his best games of his career including a hat trick in the finals which is incredible and then to end up in a loosing team is heart breaking. It was the Argentina's goalie Emiliano Martínez that got them to the final and then he did some incredible saves during the penalty shoot out as well. Messi finally kissed the cup which was eluding him Kiss.

Unfortunately it hasn't happened France have tried to play better in the second half and have at least one corner kick different from the first half, but they need more than this and Mbappe hasn't been able to score even his movement hasn't been seen so far, it's a shame he suffered a drop in appearances when his team needed him to score
Argentina was on the offense from the start and luck continue to help them apart from the first match against Saudi Arabia, Argentina was lucky enough to win crucial moments and even in the final, it was the tackle that ended in a penalty that started the scoring and with 25 minutes to go France has increased its tempo but i am hoping Argentina could hold on to their lead and finally Messi lifting the World Cup.

I believe the problem with Bangladesh and other Asian countries women cricket team is the lack of support, and unless that changes we won’t really see them improve anytime soon. Furthermore New Zealand women’s cricket team is on the right track, and if they continue to further improve then they can definitely replace Australia who’re currently the number one team in woman’s cricket.
It is about finding the right talent and giving more opportunities for the Women's. National Cricket board cannot do everything, it starts with having clubs and then to zonal and then preparing them to play in the big leagues and the opportunity to make huge amount of money is not there either and there are a few clubs that have Woman sporting events like Cricket and hence the selection pool is really small and when that changes we can see the real change Wink.
690  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla’s stock prices dropping fast on: December 18, 2022, 09:01:52 AM

What happened in twitter like laid off is happening in other tech company too  Cry but I hope it will recover too
It is not the same with Twitter because the entire thing is politicized. Elon stands for common sense and some of the popular belief now in certain countries is to reward stupidity and with the way things are going it is a long hard battle  Cheesy.

Tesla is a gamechanger paving the way to electric car but the stock is overbought in my opinion and the old car manufacturer start to making the car too. and don't forget with other new company who made electric car too like rivian. that is why investor start to pull out from tesla and diversified to other manufacturer
Even if there are other companies manufacturing electric cars, Tesla produces the best and he is way ahead of others. What we are seeing in the stock price is a natural correction and there is nothing to be worried.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 17, 2022, 09:57:59 PM
Contrary to expectations, the Croatia-Morocco match was a fast-paced and active match. Clearly, I enjoyed watching it. The Croats got what they deserved, I can say that Morocco scored its only goal thanks to Croatia. But here is a fact that they play a really good team game and a disciplined game. Even the fourth place is a great success in my opinion, this success will trigger new achievements. Now we focus on the finale. A lot of people want Messi to win the trophy, to speak the truth, France is much superior as a team, I think France will win.
There is no doubt that this is the best World Cup for any African team and full props to Morocco for the way they played despite all odds and now coming to the final, yes there are a lot of Messi fans who wants to see them win and i am one of them. Second time in a World Cup finals and hopefully we will see some magical performance from Messi to lift the cup.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Binance outflows - should we be concerned? on: December 17, 2022, 06:30:17 PM
~
So, Binance recently halted USDC withdrawals because outflows reached $2B, which indicates to me that many investors are worried about their state, even tho they resumed withdrawals shortly after that.
Now this is surprising, after FTX, many are speculating what Binance would be doing in a situation where majority of the users started to withdraw their funds and all the media were focusing on how Binance runs their business and even Kevin O'Leary who is a paid spokesperson for FTX testified before congress that Binance was the reason for FTX bankruptcy and now they have halted withdrawal which is really worrying as you never know what is going on behind the scenes. I would move all my coins from the exchange when you hear news like these.

Shakib is way past his prime which is why I'm not expecting any crazy heroics from him. Expecting him and the remaining 3 players who are basically bowlers to score 241 runs is crazy if you think about it.

This game is over because India has already won. What's left to see is by how big a margin they end up winning against them.
With the position Bangladesh is in right now, only weather can help them, either way i did not expect Bangladesh to play out the entire day tonight but the openers played an incredible fightback with a century partnership but the rest of the batsman were struggling and at one point i was thinking whether the pitch became flat with the way the openers were batting Cheesy.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of People Will Lose Crypto in Self Custody on: December 17, 2022, 01:41:10 PM
~
Recently, when people are withdrawing their money to personalized wallets, CZ says that  out of these people 99% of them will lose money, as only 1% of the people are capable of handling the non-custodial wallets.
This is a narrative that CZ and all the big exchanges has to claim because they do not want to see people withdrawing their funds all of a sudden which can actually collapse their entire business. Majority of the users in this forum has a pretty clear idea on how to store their funds in a non custodial wallets, so the theory of just 1% of people capable of handling non custodial wallet is busted. The people who are not aware of that, simply needs to browse around to learn them and it is as simple as that.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SBF, arrested! on: December 16, 2022, 09:17:45 PM
Here's what we're waiting for, after what he's done. I guess everyone who's been a victim of FTX fall is now getting some justice.

May be he is arrested because he is running his mouth in the media and the democrats wants to restrict him because he is saying things that might indicative him in the court of law while the general media is trying to save him with a narrative they created. If you are looking for justice he needs to be punished and everyone that lost their money should be compensated.

Sydney Thunder all out for 15. Strikers win by 124 runs. The previous lowest score in BBL was 57 by the Renegades in 2015.
. 2wd . W . . 3 . W . W . 2 W 1 1lb . W . W . . . . . 1 W . . W 4 . W . 1 W
35 balls. All out for 15. Unreal.

Seems like that 15 all out from the Sydney Thunder is the lowest score in professional cricket since 1983 and the equal seventh lowest all time.
I could not believe when i saw the news that a team is all out for 15 runs. Terrible performance by Sydney Thunder and even a school team could have scored more than that. Henry Thornton and Wes Agar took 9 wickets in the match and Henry Thornton is yet to make his debut for the national team and Wes Agar played 2 ODI for the national team, either way young prospects for their national team.

Well.. it is possible. Ravichandran Ashwin is next to come and he do have a very good batting record in subcontinental tracks. But the problem for India is that after Ashwin it is down to the tail. The three other players to come doesn't have any batting capabilities (Kuldeep Yadav, Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Siraj). So I don't know how much India will be able to add to their existing score of 278/6. They may get bundled out for less than 300, or they may make a total of more than 400. Either way, Bangladesh will be on backfoot.
I was expecting Shreyas Iyer to stay much longer in the crease but either way Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav was able to take that role and build a great partnership that would eventually take the total over to 404 and with Bangladesh struggling at 133 runs for the loss of 8 wickets and with plenty of time left in the match this is a match where India could not loose with the situation they are in, may be Bangladesh fell for their own trap by making a spinning track.

There will be many fans supporting Argentina because of Messi but France will also have many fans too mostly the Europeans and Ronaldo fan boys. The Ronaldo fans will feel a win for Argentina will end the Goat debate and they wouldn't want that to happen.
To be fair that is a fact, if Messi is able to lift the World Cup then he will be having more accomplishment in his profile and many will be remembering those for decades to come and definitely the die hard fans of Cristiano Ronaldo as well as the Brazilian fans would not want to see Argentina winning the World Cup but as a football fan i want to see Messi lifting the cup as this is his second final in his career and it will be a fitting tribute to his career.
699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin high prediction 2023? on: December 15, 2022, 06:05:45 PM
~
I know we are likely to drop further in the first few months of 2023 but I am curious to know how high we all feel Bitcoin can reach later in the year before 2024?
Till now cryptocurrency market has all the favorable conditions without any regulators or restrictions but with major scams and exchanges funneling out money left and right and going bankrupt you have to believe that we might be seeing strict regulation in the next few years and that might change the cycle as well like we used to see in the past 3 rallies.

One thing is certain, halving is real and when the number of coins reduces that will make an impact in the market and we can only speculate as we are in unchartered areas as the market is barely a decade old and personally as an investor i would like to see the same kind of rally like we used to see and if that happens $100k would not be a huge barrier this time but only time will tell  Wink.

In today's match, India Women's team lost to Australia Women's team by 21 runs. India women's team could not do well in low order batting If they can perform well in low order batting, this match could have been won by India women's team. According to my knowledge, India women's team is a strong team. But recently the Indian women's team is not performing well at all. Australia women's team performed well in both batting and bowling
India Woman is a strong team but Australia is leaps and bounds above the rest of the teams in terms of performance and winning percentage, like the old 90s and 2000s men's team and you need to have some incredible performance to defeat them even when India is playing in their home turf. India is dependent on the top order to perform unlike Australia who has some power hitters down the batting order as well.
