701  Economy / Economics / Re: Who supplies us bitcoin? on: July 29, 2017, 08:15:47 PM
Any company can supply bitcoin. Asked to be paid in bitcoin. The worst they can say is no, and at best they'll learn more about it and it's benefits.

Now who actually supplies bitcoins? Miners.
702  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BTC AND ETH ON TOR? on: July 29, 2017, 08:09:09 PM
Why do you need to earn bitcoins through a certain browser...? But you don't want it to be illegal? What the hell does this mean? You want to anonymously earn some money? Sell things on TOR that aren't illegal.
703  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan in bitcoin on: July 29, 2017, 08:06:20 PM
Who cares if you linked your Facebook to this loan? Why would that make you trustworthy!? You're asking for thousands of dollars from strangers! Figure out some collateral or GTFO!
704  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a need for more escrows on this forum? on: July 29, 2017, 07:33:01 PM
Hey everyone.

I've noticed that there has been a smaller number of scams (at least from what I've seen) than there used to be in the past year or so.

However, this made me think if the forum still had a need for escrow services or not. On one hand, if the scams are lowering, it doesn't make sense to flood the forums with escrows. However, on the other hand, escrows are very useful for every deal here.

I'm asking this question because I, myself, am wondering about making an escrow thread to keep the trading community here safer.

The only way to find out for sure if we need more escrows is to offer your services, put a cap on it and never scam anyone. After a whole you can increase your cap because people will see that you're more and more trustworthy. Just open the thread. It can't hurt.
705  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Ex-Husband- Dicorce-Bitcoin on: July 29, 2017, 07:30:58 PM

Go get a job or a couple jobs. Any jobs. You should work any and every job until you find the right job.

If you cannot afford your bills, then lower your quality of life, move to a cheaper apartment and cut all expenses not needed for your survival.

He has no obligation to pay for pussy he no longer has-or-wants access to.

You are a independent, strong and empowered woman and you are equal under the law, so start acting like it and go earn your way.

If you still cannot manage to work hard enough to pay for your survival and quality of life, then spend your Bitcoins as needed.

Why should a man pay for you when you have 10.000 euros in Bitcoins?

The man owes you nothing. Go take care of yourself.

Can my bitcoins count against me?

Yes

What a cunt you are. Why indeed should a man not adhere to the binding agreement that is marriage. It's not like he agreed to it or anything.

"No obligation to pay for pussy", says a lot about you really.

Marriage is not a binding agreement anylonger. The agreement used to be to stick together through all, "in sickness and in health, through good time and bad, for richer and poorer, to love, honor and obey; until death do they part."

It's no longer that binding agreement. It has transformed into a juicy deal for women and a shitty deal for men. Men have absolutely no benefits from marriage anymore. Legal state-sanctioned marriage is a loaded gun pointed at every mans head... all the wife needs is the whimsy and emotion to pull the trigger, and they routinely pull those triggers at rated exponential to those of men to take everything he has every worked for and love away from him to benefit the State and women.

You sound like you believe that men solely exist to give women money and whatever else they want and to serve their every need and desire regardless of his own. I am correcting the fallacy.

You're assuming this is a woman typing because they have a husband, but what if it's a homosexual man? I bet you'd feel pretty stupid right? A big rant about why you hate your ex for nothing lol.

I'm not from Germany and don't have a clue of the laws but it would sound to me like he's entitled to 5 bitcoins. I'd just keep your mouth shut before you screw yourself over.
706  Economy / Lending / Re: Small loan for 0.15BTC on: July 29, 2017, 07:25:11 PM
Who's going to hold the phone as collateral? Physical collateral is a pain in the ass because you have to ship it to the lender or an escrow then they have to ship it back after. Also what of the phone is stolen? We have no idea who you are.

707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HERE IS HOW THE FORK WILL HAPPEN. on: July 29, 2017, 07:19:39 PM
- snip -
Need to generate 1 block at the and of 15 days period and it will cause 4x difficulty  drop.
- snip -

Not true.

Difficulty adjusts after 2016 blocks.  NOT after 15 days.

If blocks happen at near NORMAL speed (average 1 block every nearly 10 minutes) then difficulty adjusts after approximately 14 days:
2016 blocks * 10 minutes = 20160 minutes = 336 hours = 14 days

If there is not enough hash power and therefore blocks take longer, then difficulty takes longer to adjust.

2016 blocks * average 40 minutes per block = 80640 minutes = 1344 hours = 56 days until difficulty adjusts 4X

See code here:
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/1b046603b30ebfab6199a2f92015d507b248b590/src/pow.cpp#L19

Specifies params.DifficultyAdjustmentInterval:
Code:
// Only change once per difficulty adjustment interval
    if ((pindexLast->nHeight+1) % params.DifficultyAdjustmentInterval() != 0)
{
    ...

params.DifficultyAdjustmentInterval calculated here:
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/1b046603b30ebfab6199a2f92015d507b248b590/src/consensus/params.h#L63
Code:
int64_t DifficultyAdjustmentInterval() const { return nPowTargetTimespan / nPowTargetSpacing; }

nPowTargetTimespan is set here:
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/1b046603b30ebfab6199a2f92015d507b248b590/src/chainparams.cpp#L79
Code:
consensus.nPowTargetTimespan = 14 * 24 * 60 * 60;
Note: 14*24*60*60 = 1209600

nPowTargetSpacing is set here:
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/1b046603b30ebfab6199a2f92015d507b248b590/src/chainparams.cpp#L80
Code:
consensus.nPowTargetSpacing = 10 * 60;
Note: 10 * 60 = 600

So, DifficultyAdjustmentInterval = 1209600 / 600 = 2016

So, adjustment happens when:
(pindexLast->nHeight+1) === 2016

In other words...

Only once every 2016 blocks.

What I could say on this overwhelmingly mathematical information that bursts into my  small head. This are really amazing.

I am just the other guy who gladly receiving great information.

As understanding on the suggestion above. I have to pull out my bitcoin from online and put it to my desktop wallet. To make it safe.

Now if you're smart you'll keep it off of exchanges for the rest of your life... or you'll be one of these dumbos that shows up only when their bitcoins get hacked off of each exchange they use. Buy your bitcoins then transfer them to yourself. Don't ever trust an exchange.
708  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to guarantee no risks of double spending on: July 29, 2017, 07:12:14 PM
Bitcoin Cash has implemented two way replay protection so any transactions created with a Bitcoin Cash wallet (e.g. Bitcoin ABC) will be invalid to the Bitcoin network and anything created with a Bitcoin wallet (e.g. Bitcoin Core) will be invalid to the Bitcoin Cash network.

You just mean if any new address is generated after August first or any address generated on a bitcoin wallet at all will be invalid to BCC after August first?

I'm going to be dumping mine asap too, I will gladly be the first one to test the transactions Smiley.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash overcome the original Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2017, 02:39:57 PM
Not a chance. It's a slapped together people pleaser shitcoin that will never add up to being worth anything. It'll continuously crash until no one supports it at all.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two BTC? on: July 29, 2017, 02:38:50 PM
Lots of overly complicated or uneducated answers here so to dumb it down without being wrong, there needs to be a fork which deviates from the old code. Someone else can pick up that code and change it as they wish and people will choose to support it or not. That other one will be bitcoin cash. I doubt it'll be successful.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bcc may overtake btc just as eth did with etc on: July 28, 2017, 02:31:01 AM
It's completely different situation.
Eth was created as a result of the DAO "hack".

In the btc case, it's a dispute between the developers and the miners.

ETH forked over a disagreement on how to handle DAO.  BTC is forking over a disagreement on how to scale.  OP is absolutely right in that Bitcoin Cash could overtake Bitcoin Classic/Core in the way that forked ETH overtook ETH classic.

Litecoin could also dominate. But for some reason it's not. Hmmm. I wonder. Maybe it's because bitcoin is better?
712  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice: Should I sell all my altcoins due to BCC and BTC issue? on: July 28, 2017, 02:29:33 AM
Bcc is an issue? Could you explain that? Forks happen. The strongest chain continues and the other dwindles and or dies. I see no point in humoring their coin.
713  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC upto 5000$!! on: July 28, 2017, 02:23:26 AM
I'm 100% sure that you're 38% right 14% of the time assuming the humidity us under 85%. Therefore this prediction is going to be accurate based on my calculations.
714  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some escrow have been compromised!! on: July 28, 2017, 02:21:23 AM
He's probably referring to OgNasty and that guy who flipped out at him. I think it was an issue where OgNasty was not releasing funds so idk, that's what an escrow is for right?
715  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The lagest Bitcoin mixer is about to stop working on: July 25, 2017, 02:58:28 AM
Wow! I never saw this coming. I thought someone was joking when I read this on another thread. So after 6 years you've just changed your mind? I hope that's true and not just BS you have to say in order to protect your freedom. Good luck on your future endeavours!!
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HERE IS HOW THE FORK WILL HAPPEN. on: July 25, 2017, 02:32:04 AM

Also Exchangers position about fall of "soft fork" is not clean.

3-4 months ago, poloniex had explained that they were ready for hard fork and they will also issue the splitted bitcoin one. But this time, they're very silent and we don't know what will happen to our bitcoins.

Check this:

https://poloniex.com/press-releases/2017.07.24-Our-plans-to-handle-potential-BTC-network-disruptions/

I think that Poloniex has gone back on its word. This is what they are saying now:

Quote
Even if two viable blockchains emerge, we may or may not support both and will make such a decision only after we are satisfied that we can safely support either blockchain in an enterprise environment.

So like everyone has ever said, get your bitcoins out of exchanges!! Don't let them decide what's best for your money.

717  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: AMAZON ACCOUNT DUMP 600+ [FREE GIVEAWAY] on: July 23, 2017, 03:47:14 AM
All are fake accounts/Not working.
Even if they did work, I would stay away from this kind of offer. The accounts OP is talking about are most likely stolen, hacked or in some other way illegal. If you use them, it can probably be linked back to you and any information you provide such as billing or shipping addresses could link you to this and could get you in a mess. This information could also be accessed later by the hacker or original owner and used against you, potentially ending up in identity theft.

Stay away.

No shit haha! Free stolen sunglasses and ipods! Same deal. Stay they hell away. You'll get caught and get charged for a much bigger crime. That's the whole point of you taking this small amount.
718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dip below 2000 again before Aug 1? on: July 23, 2017, 03:44:01 AM
Well it did but if you didn't buy you missed your chance. Things are really looking up right now with BIP91. I'm HODLing on forever so what do I care!?

720  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: We Buy Bitcoin 2X the price (Paypal) on: July 23, 2017, 03:38:48 AM
Why not 5x? 10x? 100x? You can afford to pay any price with the stolen credit cards you're clearly using. There's no legitimate way you're sending 2x PayPal for bitcoin.
