741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: July 04, 2023, 09:35:21 PM
How low? That can't be answered directly due to the nature of the market. And even if we look at the chart in the past year before halving or even the current situation, it is not enough to tell what will exactly be going to happen in the coming days. But I do believe that it won't go that low below $25k if ever there are price corrections instead, I was thinking it move high due to increasing demand as the halving get closer. I was really optimistic that this year Bitcoin will be able to touch $35k.
As you have said, no one can provide a direct answer if the market will continue to be resilient to bear by maintaining the $30K and there's no guarantee that the current trend of the market will last till the halving effect market which means anything can happen. Therefore, the market can still go below $25K and may not dump below $27K
I say it won't because I was thinking about halving which really has a huge impact on the market and expected that the price will pump and continue the bull season. But if we make this during after bull run, it was even the worse drop could possibly be going to experience. And based on the current market situation, it was more on the pumps than corrections which we could think positively about rather than declining sentiment even though we know it was unpredictable.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 04, 2023, 12:16:00 PM
NorthPort ML @1.97 vs NLEX
Meralco Bolts ML @ 2.05 vs Ginebra Kings

^^ My bets for tomorrow's games. Still betting on the underdogs but these games is pretty even that either team could be tag as the underdog. Of the two, i have a feeling that Ginebra's winning streak will be broken by the Bolts tomorrow, winning three games in a row was impressive with a depleted line-up but against Meralco i think they will lose  Cool.

Good luck on those who will bet tomorrow.

The Ginebra Kings are currently on a good momentum, so it's a tough call, my friend. However, there's always live betting available where you can place bets in case you think Meralco would mess up again. You know, this game will be unpredictable as we are still in the PBA ON TOUR. Meralco might bounce back big time after a disappointing loss in their previous game, so anything is possible.
743  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: July 04, 2023, 11:37:32 AM
At the end if you don't want their KYC a lot of casino offering a lower level of it or no KYC.

But the question is, are they reputable enough to trust your money? I believe most of the reputable casinos are already regulated, which means they cannot claim that gambling on their site is 100% anonymous. Eventually, KYC requirements will be imposed, and as gamblers who like to use their services, we will certainly be compelled to comply with such requirements.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 will determined bitcoin fate on: July 03, 2023, 09:46:34 PM
Many expectations of bitcoin this year failed, but I notice that bitcoin always breakout into a new price after interval of five years, the last massive explosion of price was between 2017-2018 and since then, bitcoin has not record major price increase. Now if you calculate from 2018 to 2023 that's about 5 years though because of policy of economic inflation and influence the price has not gain its actual strength to break resistance limits and if the remaining quarter of the year fails even more, then we should expect 2024 to 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 fire. We should start to make plans for 2024 more buys more gains.
It wasn't new to hear rumors and negative expectations during the bear season but guess what, these people become optimistic when the bull season started. And if you get fall into their wrong assumptions, you will also be thinking negatively and join their crusade.
In fact, we saw the price of Bitcoin is moving high and this will continue when the halving comes and the next is a bull run. This year 2023 is not really good to see but next year, that is somewhat more exciting - whether it was fate or not, the rise is certainly going to happen.

746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo Super Middleweight (September 16) on: June 30, 2023, 08:04:54 AM
I can assume he is a huge Charlo fan and blindly believe in his victory, ...
LOL! That's too much, man. Just because Canelo is very popular and everyone believes he is going to win doesn't mean a bettor who bets on Charlo is blindly betting on him. What would you say if it turns out Jermall Charlo wins the fight? What I'm trying to say is that in boxing or any form of sports, upsets do happen, so we cannot jump to conclusions.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 30, 2023, 07:22:03 AM
Did Green already have his demand and play with the Warriors again?

There's no confirmation yet but it looks like GSW are going to keep him and give his demand.

https://www.sfchronicle.com/sports/warriors/article/warriors-give-draymond-green-wants-face-harsh-18175292.php

Because if GSW would approve Green to be in free agency, they would have announce it also, so I presume that thy are still under the negotiation and hopefully we will find out some good news soon.
748  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I Use Emergency funds or Sell my Assets ? on: June 29, 2023, 09:56:30 PM
I reluctantly followed the counsel of a financial advisor to fix my finances in order by creating a budget and tracking my expenses, inflow and outflow of cash using an excel sheet. The economy has been crazy in my country so I needed to do something urgently. My greatest realization after this is that inflation all round is destroying my budget. It's been  five months now. I am torn between using my emergency funds or selling some of my assets to cushion the effect of this economic situation. What do you suggest I do?
Don't sell anything from your assets as this will help you to survive, instead get some portion of your emergency funds. Might this is not good advice but I was thinking that our assets would be our sources of income and once we cut them or sell them, it means that we are cutting one of the resources which in fact, we need to multiply them.

I've got also to that point and I think deeply and talk with some friends. You can also do this and then decide what is best for you.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: June 29, 2023, 09:33:58 PM
Binance's native blockchain token (BNB) experienced a dip in price after the SEC fiasco. The exchange is facing heavy pressure by the US government regulatory agency. If Binance wins a lawsuit against the SEC, BNB's price could go all the way to the moon in an instant. But if it loses, BNB could experience new lows until it goes below the "triple digits".

I'm wondering if now is the good time to buy BNB or should I wait a little bit more? The crypto market is still bearish, so we should expect further pressure against an altcoin like BNB in the short term. Who knows if BNB will reach higher prices in the future? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
For me, I should have to wait until they've got settled it down, and when it shows some recovery. At least, we have some assurance that it will rise back, not going to the dip. Their issue with the SEC is a factor that triggers some panic in the BNB investors and I know they are still there giving support and waiting until it was over but it was possible that these investors will give up and dump their coins once they see no chance for the team to win. That is why it was best to but when they are clear with the issue already.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo Super Middleweight (September 16) on: June 29, 2023, 01:28:14 PM
     -  I think Charlo will win there, because from what I can see if he is only Canelo in terms of stamina and skills of punches, this is just my assessment. Although most of this is Canelo's advantage, but for me I don't think so. We'll find out when they're in the ring.

Although, they are both showing off and teasing each other, let's see who is telling them the truth when they are both fighting.

Are you from this planet or just trolling us? If you think that Charlo has advantage in stamina and boxing skills, then what can you say about his 2 year pause, while Canelo boxed best of the best during these two years? Dont forget that Charlo will be in 168 for the first time in his career, while Canelo feels in 168 like fish in water. If you so sure in your prediction, will you place money on Charlo? Cheesy

He has his own perception about this fight, and it seems that only a few people believe that Charlo would win, as reflected in the betting odds for this particular fight. If he thinks Charlo will win, then that's his personal opinion. However, even if we strongly favor Canelo in this matchup, we cannot guarantee his victory.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2023, 12:59:12 PM
Maybe seeing Paul and Steph starting at the same time.
There is a possibility that this approach would help Curry conserve his energy, as they would already have a facilitator, while he and Thompson focus on finding open shots. It would result in a smaller lineup, but adjustments can always be made.

It's quite evident already that the Golden State Warriors aren't looking to change their line-up to keep up with the giant players nowadays that can literally protect the rim and paint, instead, they are giving more focus in what they have and the strengths where they are famous for, small ball.

Now that CP3 is on the Warriors, I think so too that he will be in the starting line-up but that won't be long as they cannot afford to lose CP3 via injury and will just let him rest in-between or where the Warriors needed him the most.

Yeah, this is also what I'm seeing Kerr doing in the next season, they are going small and obviously giving up height against team that has great center. But they still have Green and Kevon Looney.

And they are used to small ball, there are games that you won't see Looney down the stretch, it was Draymond who play center position. And then we have Klay and Steph and then Poole for them. So same lineup, except that CP3 will be their point guard and then Steph focusing on his shooting as well as Klay. So nothing has chance in their style of play despite losing Poole.
They have been successful using a small ball lineup, but they need to ensure that Curry and Thompson are consistently performing well in every game. Their previous issue was poor shooting and being outrebounded simultaneously, which could prove detrimental if it happens again. While they may sacrifice rebounding to some extent, they must prioritize shooting accuracy, particularly in three-pointers.

That's the recipe.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: June 28, 2023, 12:34:30 PM
Yes, like the title above, we all know the halving time is will always full of drama, this always happens at that time, but I don't know why many people forget and still spread FUD everywhere. If they understand that and know it always happens on every 4 years, they shall be calm and relaxed to face SEC, Binance, or anything drama.

Well, as you have said the market is full of drama, and that what you see is part of it. In fact, it was impossible to stop people from believing in FUDs as negativity will appear in their minds once seeing and hear negative things that would influence their market insights. But I say that this drama helps to gain more attraction because the more that people talks negatively, the more it increases visibility and then creates curiosity in the community. It doesn't bother me anyway, yes, let some investors sell their coins because some people are waiting for it to buy.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: June 28, 2023, 12:07:45 PM
Ethereum gas fees high a long time ago even now this time everyone want use bsc network. When a small investors sending token then they indeed lot of transactions gas fees but it really a big problem. Anyway every new project has making bsc transactions system where investors buy there token by spending low fees.
You can use Binance Smart Chain (BSC) if that is applicable and the token is convertible. But having these ERC20 tokens which are very common to the market, they'll get no other option but pay huge fees in every transaction. That is why I suggest moving it in bulk or not investing ERC20 tokens anymore because this fee seems hopeless to see it rolling back down but instead, it probably growing up.
I can't really imagine transferring tokens worth $50 while paying $10-15, that is not worth it (for me).
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 28, 2023, 09:27:02 AM

As for tomorrow's game between TNT and the Bolts, do you think TNT will be able to break their losing streak? Are you still betting on them, Kabayan?

The TNT vs Meralco game is already underway. Currently, the moneyline odds for TNT are 9.75. I don't think this would attract many bettors to trust them. Honestly, I believe it's a trap, and most likely TNT will lose by a huge margin once again. I hope bisdak did not place any bets on this game.
755  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 28, 2023, 09:11:15 AM
Because this is risky. Because I think why I should give personal data to anyone KYC documents are highly confidential documents so we should avoid.
I don't understand what you're saying, man. Of course, KYC, which stands for Know Your Client policy, is what gambling sites would demand from you. But please bear in mind that they wouldn't require it if they weren't obliged to implement the law by their regulators. If there's no regulation, then casinos simply wouldn't care about the real identity of their gamblers since the more they promote anonymity, the more profitable they'll be.

Yeah, it's risky to give out our private information, but trust them because they are also regulated, which means they'll be penalized if they violate the privacy agreement.
756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What steps should I take to succeed here? on: June 27, 2023, 09:47:40 PM
I guess everything is already mentioned above and these are the things I would say that will help you as well,
 - get motivated to learn new things
 - follow the rules
 - make yourself comfortable
 - and the last one, make yourself ready to be criticized and get corrected.

Success isn't easy, I will tell you that it takes time, effort, and forum participation. Many people are saying they wanted to become successful, yet they quit after a few days.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with Bitcoin Cash BCH? on: June 27, 2023, 09:19:28 PM
That is somewhat unexpected as it was barely to pump without something behind it. It pumps before because it was bull season but on this current performance, I can't say it was a normal pump, hyped and someone got involved in this.
But anyway, it never gets much attention from the community knowing that they are not investing in this project (maybe just a few) and so we can't hear the noise about this project and the supports are very low. We must be careful in this kind of project that we never see any consistency, it could be a trap.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 27, 2023, 02:11:13 PM

Or perhaps he was fortunate because he knew he could defeat Donaire, making it another easy path to claim a belt.

His journey was relatively smooth, going from unification to the undisputed fight. If only Casimero hadn't caused complications, we could have witnessed an exciting undisputed match. However, we can't change the past, and Inoue truly deserved that significant win and success.

Now, he is striving for another triumph, and surprisingly, many people didn't anticipate it to be a challenging task for him to defeat the champion. Perhaps this is due to his overwhelming dominance in previous fights.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 27, 2023, 01:13:43 PM

We might hear news and updates after his retirement and if by chance he will be back, it might be another journey for him to bring that name up and hypes his career just in case a change in heart will take place.

Let's not overthink it. It's normal to experience losses in boxing. Donaire didn't even consider retiring after his loss to Inoue, so I'm confident that Franco can mentally overcome his own experience. It's the will that matters, and with proper training, he could potentially make a comeback, perhaps in a higher weight class to avoid difficulties in adjusting.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's still wrong selling properties for Bitcoin? on: June 26, 2023, 09:49:52 PM
Selling properties is very risky, as you might lose them in the process and find yourself regretting in the end. But I believe there are always exceptions to that. Properties that are not giving you an income anymore might be good to sell and come up with a better and more profitable investment like bitcoin. However, risk management should be highly applied. Otherwise, if you sell your properties and expect quick profits from crypto will actually never work in the long run. Study your plan first, and prepare back ups if things not working according to your plan. I’d say diversification is a must but make sure to give bitcoin a bigger allocation.
Some people sell their properties for better opportunities but I don't take this option only for investing Bitcoin, unless like OP that have a lot of properties. It was not the best option because the ROI is not steady nor we can assure of getting money monthly but certainly have no exact date when. We can't rely our future on that and can't survive that situation if we are only relying on the income we get from investing in Bitcoin. Maybe if we are traders can possibly get a profit daily but if we are just holding, that takes longer.
