741  Economy / Economics / Re: What influences the Bitcoin marketplace? on: January 24, 2017, 09:21:59 PM
The currencies of the world are affected by many different parameters such as politics, economy, wars. The value of the money also shows up and down according to these parameters.

What are the parameters that affect bitcoin?

Government, global economic and businesses. We should know that bitcoin is banned in some countries and it affects the bitcoin market to operate in all countries in the world, the global economic affects the bitcoin price sometimes. Bitcoin has its pump and dumps and these can happen anytime so we can't be sure that everything is going good and slowly, when more businesses accept bitcoin then the bitcoin marketplace will have a better range.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A few alts climbing together? on: January 24, 2017, 09:18:37 PM
I'm still learning alt analysis. Your opinions please.
Many alts seem to be moving together, bottoming out. The strongest ones I see are ETH DASH REP. Other good ones seem to be ETC XMR MAID STEEM FCT XLM LSK.
Your thoughts? Since they are all moving together, which one(s) do you pick?

I'm very optimistic about the Monero, I was watching for a long time how the price changes and it is a promising coin with lots of dumps and pumps (like most of the coins in the exchanges), since last August there is a high pump of price (exchange rate in bitcoin) of the XMR. Along with that ETH is good too, they go almost together if we check the graphs.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum] UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform|On Coindesk & Bitcoinmagazine on: January 24, 2017, 08:00:49 PM
I'm hearing for the first time the hybrid protocol “BiSMTP” which looks interesting because most of us (maybe all) use email and a good amount of people hate to have wallets or at least to sync it everytime they open the wallet so sending money through email is something new in the crypto industry and it would be something lightwieght and portable for new people joining QTUM.
744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Way to Sell Bitcoin in My Situation? on: January 24, 2017, 07:51:57 PM
I'm from the USA but out of the country most of the time.  I have bitcoins that i like to sell.  I have sold bitcoin to people before and received online bank transfer.  I have bank of america.  However, the thing is those ppl are very reputable and i trust them.  They are not from this forum though.

I have sold bitcoin using circle before and it was great... but they stopped allowing selling of bitcoin.  I also have coinbase account but never used it.

If i want to sell $1000 worth of bitcoin minimum each time, what is the best/safe method to do this?  Thus sometimes i want to sell $1000, other times $2000 and other times $3000 or more.  What is my best option?  What i would prefer is a bank transfer to my bank of america.  My problem is ppl have told me this could be reversed assuming the other person hacked someone elses bank of america account or they could possibly dispute the transfer.  Paypal is obviously the worst due to charge backs.  I read a wire is the best but doing this... it would require a few days to receive the wire.  So i would not send bitcoin then wait for wire unless that person is very reputable.  Thats why bank of america transfer is what i prefer the most.  But the people i have in contact with usually don't need bitcoin and even if they do, its not a lot of bitcoin.  I read about bitpay which is a debit card.  Thoughts on this?  I read its 9.95 to order the card and max 750 usd you can withdraw at a bank atm.  Max is 3000 usd.  Has anyone done this?  I cannot do this though since im out of the country and cant get the card while here.  But would this be a good option in the usa?  Im curious how much in total fees you have to pay to sell 3000 usd worth of bitcoin in an atm.  Anyone know?
Thanks.

Have you tried to take a look at wirex (as known as e-coin) bitcoin debit cards, if you need these funds to sell and then to purchase something online then you do this directly online like POS or online transaction and there is no limit as you can see here https://wirexapp.com/cards/ but also if you verify your account then you can withdraw maximum of $2000 €2000 £1600 within on day!
745  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Any e-book you want - $1.5 per book on: January 23, 2017, 11:14:05 PM

746  Economy / Speculation / Re: How can the impact of Bitcoin prices ahead of the Lunar New Year? on: January 23, 2017, 11:04:06 PM
Ahead of the Lunar New Year to think about how it impacts on the price of Bitcoin? According to some there are two opinions because of differences in analysis,
1. Fundamental Analysis barga said Bitcoin will continue to rise.
2. Technical analysis Bitcoin said prices will continue to decline.

What is your opinion?   Huh

Neither Lunar new year (28 January) or New Year (1st January) does not have impact to the bitcoin price, what impacts is the holiday season where the banks does not work or something else which could delay the trading and affect a little bit the price, but in generally it doesn't make sense, even though Chinese people are hard worker and I don;t think they celebrate for weeks at this time.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: January 23, 2017, 10:27:20 PM
This would take away from anonymity, but may help the overall ecosystem because existing members may be influenced into moving some of their funds into BTC accounts. Also, what would happen if the bank ran full nodes? Offered BTC debit cards, credit cards, and loans?

It doesn't make sense to open a bitcoin account at the local bank unless there is something extra such as new features linking with the current bank account, being able to spend the bitcoin funds through the debit/credit card and converting cash to bitcoin and vice versa. Another reason would be to extract the last 6months transactions that are needed for visa applications for some countries.

749  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How important is the Government in the country? on: January 23, 2017, 10:00:29 PM
seeking for answers..

In which country the government isn't important? It can be on the third world country that the government doesn't have the power such as in other countries because of the corruption and because of the mafia that operates there(my opinion), why they become a poor country is because of these and they can't collect taxes and the qualified people do not get their right job so the government loses its power and become less important.
750  Economy / Economics / Re: US Debt at $19,959,943,400,000 will $20 trillion make the news? on: January 23, 2017, 09:48:45 PM

Have you guys been too www.usdebtclock.org recently? We are fastly approaching the the $20 Trillion in debt mark. 2 questions; will this information make the news and at what point does the dollar actually crash? Its been common knowledge that the dollar has lost 96% of its value since 1919 but what is it at right now 98% maybe 99% value gone? Just wanted to get your take.

please visit my blog bit-coin-expert.com

Which is the main reason that united states has this deep debt at $20 trillion? Isn't one of the reason the interest or mostly the bad management of the money. I have read recently how Turkey has paid their duties within a short time and became one of the strongest country in the world being listed in Top15 and Tayyip Erdogan increased the economy of his country, can united states learn something from this?
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC network will become centralized on: January 23, 2017, 09:34:42 PM
Hello,

I would like, like everyone, that the BTC network remains decentralized

However, as the time goes on, it will become more and more expensive to run nodes. Thus only big organizations will own the blockchain on there server. They will be able to act as central banks and do what they want with it.

How to prevent that?

The blockchain size is around 108GB without txindex but the blockchain size is increasing more faster if we compare with the past years and that's why we see always full the blocks for a long time now. I don't think it is expensive to run a full node. And even though bitcoin will become centralized I don't think it will be fully centralized because there will be always some ways to get privacy.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: January 23, 2017, 09:28:34 PM
Is because the name "Bitcoin" is the best name for a crypto-currency.

No other name will be as good.

The reason why bitcoin is always number one is because of the architecture, implementation, innovation and the best of all is the community, we are really a lot and this is a good part.

While this is all true, don't forget "too big to fail" was the cry before the sub-prime mortgage collapse (and the housing market in general) around 2008 in the USA. As long as it remains an acceptable medium of exchange, and consensus regarding its value remains strong, it will retain its worth.

Can't say that bitcoin is going to be always the first one because there are many other altcoins that have maybe better developers but they just need a bigger community that support them and their goals to be more and more successful in their journey. Bitcoin is good but it can become better if more big services like ebay amazon and other big shops can accept bitcoin directly or indirectly.

I don't trust all these HYIP websites and I'm looking for a more reliable way to invest.
Any suggestions?

It's pretty tricky to find a good place where we can invest and wait for a guaranteed profit, whenever you go whenever you invest you have to face with the risk and with patient, a quote is that invest as much as you can afford losing them.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: January 20, 2017, 10:36:04 AM
For 2017 I think that bitcoin will get a better success and I hope that the block size will be increased and hopefully more big companies like ebay and amazon will implement and accept bitcoin in their systems which could lead to have more people using bitcoin.
757  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: January 20, 2017, 08:31:51 AM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?

There are many ways how to make money but the key is to the investment amount, patient, the risk involved and how courageous are you when trying to invest in something, in the bitcoin world there are many opportunities like trading altcoins for bitcoin and vice versa but everything should start after a deep analysis.
758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you burn your bitcoins IF something goes wrong? on: January 20, 2017, 08:28:03 AM
I have just thought of the most tragic thing that people could do, if something went wrong with Bitcoin.... Burning their coins.  Sad

Let's say, some tragedy strikes Bitcoin and the price per Bitcoins goes to ZERO .... would you burn your coins, or still hoard them in the hope

that this tragedy would be turned around. Examples : We figure out some 3 letter agency is behind the technology and they have some master

plan to confiscate all wealth or just to control global economies. / A huge flaw in Bitcoin gets exposed and all private keys are compromised.

If my plan is to hold bitcoin for a long time then whatever happens I'm not going to burm any bitcoin, especially when the bitcoin price will be zero, at this stage I may try to find who selling bitcoin for pennies but when you are lost and broke at zero there is no needed to burn them.
759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: January 20, 2017, 08:24:36 AM
Greetings!

While trading sometimes I drop back from my original plan. Such emotional decisions often bring loss cuz I tend to change orders on panic or when I mistakenly expect more potential income. How do you deal with that if you feel the same way?

We should contol our emotions otherwise they will control us, when you are in panic or in hurry then you take a small break and patient to re-analyze what you are going to do and if it worth, maybe ask someone else what he/they think about your next move.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen "if" someone have all of bitcoin? on: January 20, 2017, 08:21:35 AM
Anyone like bitcoin because bitcoin offer transparency in transactions, and some excellence rather than use currency transactions. In my mind i have many question about it.
  • Is there some one can get 21 million of bitcoin for himself?
  • If impossible, are that guy can control it?
  • Is any exchange will not working until that guy sell some his bitcoin?

It's impossible because bitcoin is designed to work differently from what you wrote, a person can nkt have/earn (not even buy) all bitcoins. What happens is that another coin will "replace" bitcoin and exchanges will have that coin as a base and main coin like btc now.
