just wait they will its look ok now and watch your account balance on multipool it may take 30 to 60 mins to show something.

check this pool out you can solo mine with old miners for all most any Script coin you want to and get paid while you solo mine Plus if you hit a block you get it - some small fees i do apply i do  mean small .

https://prohashing.com/

I have been paid for any blocks i found for whatever coins it was i was mining at the time i found, plus i all ways got coins solo mining even If i didn't hit a block, if that pool can, so can other pools but they won't for whatever reason mainly greed, if you solo mine, if it sounds to good to be true, i would say go try it to see, it does work the Pool Dev are honest or have been so far. I don't know them personally and only recommended them because it impressed me that much.

it only works  with Script miners like Zeus, grind seed, INNOSILICON a2 a4, antminers new L3, going on sell by the 20 th of this month every were, no btc miner or GPU's work on that pool.

thanks top .

762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie problem with Gridseed G-Blade on: January 02, 2017, 05:38:46 PM
Code:
stratum+tcp://eu.multipool.us:3333

That's the why the wrong pool or more port setting use 3334, I don't see  them using a 3333 port setting looking at there stratum ports ..

you want
Code:
stratum+tcp://eu.multipool.us:3334
for LTC .

and I would use whatever miner works best for you in minera i have found BFG does for me so i use it and out of the four miners in minera do not use CGMINER it does not work with Script miners any more unless you use one of the forked version at 4.7.2 or lower that supports grindseed so i would BFG miner or cgminer-dmax or cpuminer all three work with grind seeds all three have presets that do work, i never liked or had to much luck with CPU miner i still have a GBlack 25 MH blade Grind seed i use from time to time with BFG set at
Code:
--scrypt -S gsd:all --set gsd:clock=800
not the
Code:
825
default minera sets,
Code:
800
works best for me and keeps it at a steady 22 MH my miner has one bad blade i wtfed up by mistake or it would run at 25 to 27 MH and on Ebay it's like 100 bucks for a full blade which is not worth it to me to get that extra 5 mh back.

what coin are you tiring to mine ? on multipool .

its looks like your nicehash connection is working right .

765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis Mining Presents: SGMiner-GM - now with Zcash! [Updated 3/12/2016] on: January 02, 2017, 10:18:44 AM
Hello all.  I recently did an xmr test run with sgminer-gm on a 5 rx470 rig, win7, 16.9.2, and everything works fine.  When I switch back to wolf (xmr) or claymore (zcash), those miners no longer have control over fan speed.  I also cannot use watttool or amd settings to control fan speeds.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I did a clean driver removal and reinstall but the fan speeds are still locked at the previous setting when I first ran sgminer-gm.  Help would be greatly appreciated.

edit: I added auto-fan and temp-target to the conf file instead of a static fan speed and now it seems okay.

update: After switching back to claymore zec miner, there is still no fan control and the speeds are strange.  The speeds are stuck at 40,40,65,65,50.  Seems really odd.

-Dave

update 1/1/2017:  If I set the fan to a static speed on sgminer before opening claymore (zec/eth/xmr) or wolf (xmr), the fans have a minimum speed from my sgminer config file, but claymore's/wolf's miners and other utilities cannot modify the fan speed.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to re-enable fan control with mining software besides sgminer?

-Dave

did you try After burner i had the same problem and used the reset in Afterburner while it was spinning at high speed or try Awesome miner it controls GPU's really well once you learn how to set it up right. or look in the drivers folder in windows/system32 folder. there may be a folder in there with a profile delete it and ofc back it up in case . now i can switch between the XMR/claymore or any miner once i figured were that profile is being stored , i believe even sgminer miner has a reset, i forget how to use .

IF all else fails reinstall the driver but uninstall them first in safe mode with some thing like DDU Download http://www.wagnardsoft.com/ I've been using sense it came out on Guru3D.com http://www.guru3d.com/  that always does it for me .
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Panda Miner using Pirated KMS activator for WIndows 10? on: January 02, 2017, 09:52:39 AM
Phil, its very easy to tell. If your current setup has been fully activated as genuine previously then you should be able to reinstall a fresh Win10 and it should activate successfully because of the generated systemID which is saved on the MS activation servers. PM me for more clarification or questions.

As a reviewer I'd think that a properly licensed OS is pretty crucial if you're trying to sell a rig and should be included in any review as to whether the OS is legit or not.

Given that this is an up and coming new and low budget Chinese company, I highly doubt they invested $100 for a legit copy of Windows 10 on each of their rigs.

Pretty sure in Chinese there are no piracy laws unlike in the US. In the US if a company tried to use pirated software they would be in huge trouble legally with Microsoft.

But the catch is...can it be a legal win 10 for the specific use on the pandaminer....ie just nag ware and never upgrade and it just works? Seems to me some folk
are using unlicensed windows 10 on their gpu miners and just ignore the above and let it run as is...could it be the same with them simply not activating the nagware
feature..>?

would be 'slimy' as heck but likely not unlegal ...assuming the above I ponder has any basis in reality?

I agree it is not Illegal to use a non activated copy but can get very annoying over time and if your in the insider program, i believe it is activated as long as you keep that on to, which i don't use some of there betas get out of hand plus i hate using UAC so i don't and uninstall Edge which i would use if it didn't force me to have  UAC on .. . so all my copy's of 10 are legal and Activated .Just so i don't get that annoying BS .

I even saw a video some place one time were our GOV the USA was using a non activated version of Enterprise 10 it kept popping up some thing about activation I don't think they cared or didn't notice atm, i thought yea who being legal now .I think it was the IRS Or one of the really high up there in the US programs . LMAO  no joke i couldn't believe  they didn't fix that before it was posted .

yes you can. i plugged one board testing something it didn't hurt anything that I remember . can't remember if it worked though but it won't hurt it or it shouldn't.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie problem with Gridseed G-Blade on: January 01, 2017, 11:22:42 AM
or try settings then local miner there is a list with a drop down with four different software miners to the right you can try either cgminer dmaxl Zeus or BFG Miner the CGMNIER listed won't work that's the master version of CGminer or most up date version that had script miners removed after 4.7.2 ,it's maybe at 4.9.2 or 4.1.0 which has no Script support, SO it won't work but BFG or cgminer dmaxl Zeus will then under either of those is a Per configured list click it should being up a drop down with a list that usually works out the box . make sure to read the list to see what miner fits what settings, it should put you on the miner even if you Picked BFG lets say if the settings match anther miner it will pick that miner. hope this helps .

I never had much luck using CPUMINER you have picked in the Screen shot you posted .

one others thing in case  BFG or cgminer dmaxl Zeus are not installed which happens some times even with the per made image  .

you may need putty so you can log into your PI form a windows PC if so download it here : https://winscp.net/eng/download.php#putty to find out what the IP is for the PI use this http://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/

The USER and PASSWORD to login on the PI is minera for both, then use this command below, it should list all the miners Minera can download for use .

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
./build_miner.sh

Quote
Miner Names:
  cgminer           cgminer official
  cpuminer          cpuminer GC3355 fork
  bfgminer          bfgminer official
cgminer-dmaxl     cgminer dmaxl fork (gridseed and zeus support)
  all               build all the above

then to up date or install one of them or all use :

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
./build_miner.sh bfgminer
or
Code:
cd /var/www/minera
./build_miner.sh cgminer-dmaxl

if you use ALL it can take a while

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
./build_miner.sh all

thanks top .
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: January 01, 2017, 03:07:35 AM
So I guess people can finally stop asking $2000 for their Titans in the Bitcointalk Classifieds now.

LMAO, they won't .

Sweet finally a new scrypt chip worth playing with! Even I was blind sided by this...didnt think bitmain would get back in the scrypt game. Hopefully they will sell this chip at a reasonable price, or at the very least force Innosilicon to drop their ridiculous prices on thier power hog A4s. Feel bad for all the people that bought them...they are screwed now.

Either way stay tuned for round 2 of some fun mini miners from me!

You sure they will sell chips they still won't sell the BTC version, will the Script chip version be any different ? .
I would think the Script version will be even harder to buy off bitmain unless your willing to spend millions or can .if you get any, i may buy one or two USB stick miners, I'm sure that's all you will make ? .

At least Side said he can't get bitmain to sell chips and some others, but Side hack has a reg supply of the new BTC chips from Bitfury now so over time we should start seeing reasonable priced BTC miners made for the home again, if bitfury keeps the supply going to him .

Thanks top.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie problem with Gridseed G-Blade on: January 01, 2017, 02:58:26 AM
I would use BFG if i was you it works better and is a lot easier to set up and try this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=596620.0 and spend like maybe 40 bucks for a Raspberry PI kit and you have a controller that will run it all or all most any thing  for a while and use a lot less power then a windows box.

for BFG you may need these drivers for windows not all ways but you may .
http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx

 CGMiner Drivers
http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/zadig/

Try not to mix those drivers on a windows box it might brick the windows install and you have to reinstall windows .

Don't try CGMINER 4.10, it won't work because cgminer no longer supports Script miners and hasn't for a year or two that's about how old the CGMINER 3.7.2  is, while BFG https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=877081.0 always has and still does.

CGMINER 4.10 is what you get now if you compile you own software miners, if you see it only posted at 3.9.2

Hi,

As you can recommended i just purchase Rasperry Pi and install Scripta. But this time, Scripta doesnt recognize my g-blades Cheesy

Use minera https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=596620.0 not Scripta , Scripta is really out date and hasn't had any updates for a longtime .minera and Scripta are all most the same, minera is better because Mich keeps it going and has a new beta version that only monitors right now or id say use the beta .
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KNC Titan 300mh/Innsilicon 270mh/L3 250mh Bitmain Scrypt Miners Compared. Meh! on: December 31, 2016, 12:08:56 PM

if you use Prohashing they pay out in all most any coin, not just  script coins  you can solo mine there and still be paid for solo mining , i know that may sound strange but they do pay for solo mining and you get paid. i tested it, I don't use Prohashing hashing much because my only Script miner that can actually pay me any thing  eats up Electricity it being = to a A2 but faster and uses more Electricity: Alchemist/Mat miner. my best pool to mine Scriipt on is CleverMining.com .

but yea you would think even with losing around  40 to 50 or so in speeds the L3 would still be better but is only  within  a few bucks i can see why Meh! fits here nothing to impressive after the Numbers are figured out .  and it may not be a as bad as it is looking but for sure won't be that great but well seee .
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: December 31, 2016, 08:44:37 AM
I hope it's not real i get the feeling this time it is because they have a lite coin pool on there ant pool site that's doing 237.98 GH's and it started in the last few weeks, I don't think the  A4 did that for them,  i know that can mean nothing expect they offer it because of demand but in this case it may be there is one coming and that's them testing.

why called it L3 why not L2 sense they did plan one with the L1 name .  may there is two more models out we know nothing about and may never know like some one else pointed out in a PM .

last thought it may be a one time thing with them so it may not be as bad as it is looking .
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: December 31, 2016, 04:00:58 AM
I read some place the reason for the difficulty drop right now is the holiday and may stay that way till after china's holiday are over around March 2017 or so . then it will it turn into a BTC difficulty, I'm Sure, then so much for script mining when that happen unless we can get cheaper better miners from another company other then bitmain which is unlikely. I do see it went back up to 70628.2150962 but also may drop back down till March or keep going up or down till then, then  it won't stop. "( sadly.

PS: the only hope we have beyond GPU home mining is SideHack for BTC miners as far as I know there is no one for Script miners and side won't make script miners and has said it a few times and not in a nice way .

At least if you want one L3 you don't need to make a group which is nice i guess.

Thanks top
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: IS PANDAMINER an AFFILIATE of ZeusMiner, ZeusHash, OXBTC, HalleyBTC on: December 31, 2016, 03:36:02 AM
a test unit arrives from them to my home this Friday.

The first launch is limited to 500 pieces.

Lets see how it works and how  many can be ordered safely from them.

They sent the unit to me with no payment,  I am to buy it or return it after a week of testing.

Zeus  started out great to , then after months started taking orders for there 300 MH miners then said they wouldn't be selling there new 300 MH miner that would have out done the A2,A4 if there was one then and even the titan ,  they were going to sell  upgrade kits the whole nine yards then they ripped off millions, if this is Zeus with a different name be care full even if they sent you one for review .and I saw you got one for review and gonna watch that thread .
thanks top

PS: i lost a little on that deal with Zeus kind of  i know i will never See easy come easy go Smiley .

Capacity:L3Blade Server Architecture:230 mm (L) * 135 mm (W) * 158 mm (H)
L2 Cache Capacity:L3Interface Type:EthernetMax Processors:144
Processor Type:BM1485
Hash Rate:250Mh/s
Power Consumption:400 W
Mining Agreements:Scrypt algorithm all coins
Size:230 mm (L) * 135 mm (W) * 158 mm (H)
Total weight:3.5kgFan Size:12CM*1
Operating Temperature:0 to 40
Rated Voltage:DC 11.60 ~13.00V
Power connector:6PIN X 8

So it has 4 cards and each one draws 100w  (400w/4).
Why then does it need 2 x 6pin connector per card?

Seems a little over engineered, no?

Or is that the power spec per card?

all bitmian miner after the S1 came with two PCIe plugs or more per board that I'm a ware of, even the S3 does/did but with the S3 you didn't need to use both plugs even my C1 which you could use one plug on each broad and still run at max speed with no issue , all it was a water cooled overclocked S3 , I stil have it and it works like it did when i bought it ,you could, i did because, it made me feel safer using all the plugs per board etc . the R1 and U3 didn't but are usb.

777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [FCl project] No Dev Fee Open Source proxy for Windows on: December 31, 2016, 12:46:43 AM
so this is a honest to goodness proxy like this one https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy/releases/tag/0.8.1-SNAPSHOT-20151218 but works with the newer atlcoins  ....and doesn't not try to by pass the fee because these two software miners are about to teach claymore a listen in being nice and giving over being greedily https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1716584.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1612329.0 they both agree it is unfair to all at this point to keep charging such a high fees and those miner imo work better then claymore does but are not up to speeds yet because they are open source software miners .

well any way I'm not interested in a Proxy that can by pass the fee of one of the Fee  miners, those hacks usually don't and cause other issue but do want a real proxy that works like this one https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy/releases/tag/0.8.1-SNAPSHOT-20151218/ but works with the new types of coins that has no fee like some of the other proxy's DO, that work , if I use it in time, i do and will donate as i can .

I knew they had one in works even said so a month or so back after bitmian put up a litecoin pool on there site, i knew it then, but my question now is it real this time ?. the L2 was suppose to do about the same speed but was a lot cheaper then im sure will be.IS this is a bitmain chip and not INNOSILICON A4 chip and it looks a lot like a A4 .. ?.

From the pictures they are certainly not using the Inno boards for this.  So it is a completely new design, but who knows what chips they are using.  Gonna get quite interesting around here!   Grin

This is gonna hurt INNOSILICON A4 if it really does 400 watts @ 250 MH, the first few batches of a the A4 are 136 MH @ 500 watts and the 256 MH @ 1000 watts give or take a few .

so yea this gonna get very interesting to see if they try to take over Alt mining that includes if  they some how come up with a miner that can do all alt coins, if they do say bye bye to GPU Mining for sure ,
I hope they don't ruin it for us.

notice i said I hope they don't and not they can't, if they can out do INNOSILICON like this they can, if they really want to . all ways remember nothing is impossible the sky is the limit .

IS this is a bitmain chip and not INNOSILICON A4 chip and it looks a lot like a A4 .. ?.

IF this is real it runs better then the A4 does at 256 MH and when the L1 went on sell it was suppose to do the same as the L3 is going to do  ? . if i remember right.

ANTMINER L1
L1 for sales $5/MH/s ships in December 2014 or 15, I forget but never happen .
599 USD    ( 0.625 BTC )

This price tag is 2k + sigh greed here we go again and bitmain trying to get it all. no wonder they dropped the fee for PPS Mining on there pool, why not with this coming out.

edit: the L1 if it had happen would have done 120 @ 380 watts, 3 of those still would have been better imo then a A 2 @ 110 mh or A4 at 256 mh by maybe 300 to 400 watts at the wall  with more speed then the A2 and all most the same speed as the A4 together. I may try my Best to get a a few L3's.if it is real, i was gonna buy a few L1's even had the cash waiting.

nice work.  it hasnt took you long to catch up with Claymore. (need a thumbs up emoji)

How far do you think you can think you can push the RX cards?  Do you have a dev fee included in your miner or are you just going on donations?

I haven't done exact calculations yet, but I should be able to get 250-300 sol/s with RX 480 and a GCN assembler. I wouldn't implement a dev fee as (1) I think cryptomining should be more egalitarian and equalizing in terms of the distribution of wealth and power, in line with the original intent of Satoshi Nakamoto, and (2) I personally think it is really lame.

I've been thinking that for some time now and keeping my thoughts to me ...
