DomingoX6, I have some serious concerns about your casino's House edge.

E.g Your Head/Tail Game has a house edge of 1.5%. You payout 197% on any bet amount in that game. From what I believe your backend script is working like this. A random number is being generated between (0- 99) and being assigned to a variable. let's say this variable is "x". Then the script tests "x" with a simple (if, else) statement. If the number is below  50, that would mean the coin will land on tails and if the number is above 50 that would mean it would land on heads. So what happens next is you create an md5 hash of your variable "x" and show it to your client. By this you can claim that you are "Provable Fair" but I doubt that.

Now here is an e.g with the concerned house edge. Let's say the script is only generating a random number between (0-80) and the same rules are being applied. If the number generated is less than 50 that would mean it would land on tails and if the number rolls over 50 that would mean the coin would land on head. The issue is the Percentage chance of winning has drastically changed if the user selects head. The user will only have a 37.5% chance of winning the bet. While if the user chooses tail the percentage chance of winning will be increased to 62.5 %.

Now you can argue that the user can bet on tails and profit from it, but that's not the case. In the long run, you will make well over the mentioned house edge. I would suggest you move to a client + seed + nounce system so that there isn't something which is hidden and this will build up your trust. Else there will always be a question mark on your casino.

Anyway I'm just asking. And hoping that the ICO teams get negged. I know it isn't the bounty managers fault if an ICO turned out to be a scam but I'm just wishing there is something that can be done to teach them a lesson here that they should do their work properly.

Indeed they should be tagged. But tagging those accounts will achieve nothing. They have already scammed and will hardly care about their accounts.

I have a client who managed several scam ICOs and have asked me to make signatures for it.

So he has used your service on multiple occasions? If so, Did he always pay you? Or you got the payments from the ICOs you worked with? If he was never involved in the Transactions, I doubt he is to be blamed here. If the guy just referred you to the ICO he ain't responsible for the ICO not paying up.

Who is the bounty manager?

Indeed who is this guy? And why did jacee work with Scam ICOs? I know getting paid is fine but if jacee knew that these ICOs are a scam why work with them  Huh

how could this be done without anyone seeing it?

I think the whole team is in on this. $35 million dollars is by no means a small amount. It can set the whole team for life. From what I think To keep the heat low they didn't disappear all at once. They are playing the victim card to cool things down and once the things are calm enough they too will disappear in thin air. Mark my words! I have seen this happening my times before. Especially in Local Ponzies.

Just Looked at your account history. This account was surely sold. The last post was in December 2017 and all of sudden after 6 months. "God" has spoken to you??? Nice! You are delusional, to say the least. Whatever pills you are taking get off from them and get help. A hustler turned prophet makes lots of sense to me.

I had an interesting discussion with someone in the 50s about how Bitcoin has no value because it's not issued by the government. Regardless of how hard I tried to refute his arguments, it was like I kept talking to a wall. It had no effect at all. He didn't even want to hear anything about how government issued fiat currencies are doomed to fail and yet again no constructive input. Some people are brainwashed to the core and can't be helped anymore. I'm no longer wasting any time on these people because there is nothing to gain for me. It's only a loss of precious time I could have spent elsewhere in a more productive manner.

I feel ya, To be honest, I have given up convincing people out of my age group. They are not worth my time. The values have been implanted in them over a period of several decades. it's hard to swallow a pill which challenges your perceived reality on this scale.

Spot on. I’m 32

I believe you can live forever physically. I dunno if you have heard about the Russian scientist who will attempt the 1st human head transplant. If he succeeds that will indirectly mean you have achieved 50% of the immortality. We have already perfected the art of cloning and cloning a human body won't be a difficult task. You can make a clone of yourself, preserve it's brain if you are ethical and transfer your original brain to the new body. The next hurdle ahead will be of the ageing brain. If I remember correctly, I saw a documentary in which they said that a brain can perform perfectly for around 150-200 years. That timeframe is enough for scientists to discover how to offload memories off from your brain, which will keep your brain healthy for another 100-200 years. Now about the issue of consciousness. I believe we will figure it out in the next 200-300 years. Once that is achieved the possibilities are endless.

An episode worth watching.

P.S forgive me if my numbers are off from the documentary, I watched it like 4-5 years ago. Cheesy

Comparing Apples to Oranges Ehh?? One is a threat to the banking/Government system just like Kakmakr mentioned, while other is a way to make rich even richer... Now I will let you decide for yourself why one is not being allowed while other one has the green signal. Trust me it's not rocket science. I think you will figure it out.  Roll Eyes
774  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-30] Bitmain Had $1.1 Billion in Profits in Q1 on: July 31, 2018, 11:35:13 AM
@1Referee

What I am worried about is these giants partnering up with Bitmain. Just like Intel Partnered up with Nvidia and ruled the gaming industry for a good two decades or so. Imagine Bitmain partnering up with Samsung or Intel. We will enter the dark times for sure and the amount of propaganda they will be able to pour out into the public will be unlike we have seen.

You also have to keep in mind that These giants will hesitate too entering a new market. Breaking a monopoly is not an easy task especially when its related to a currency where their profits aren't guaranteed. Do you really think their Risk Management teams won't consider the volatility of bitcoin? It's one of the reasons we haven't seen any ASICs from these giants.
775  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-07-31] Millennials 5 times more likely than adults to save BTCs for future on: July 31, 2018, 10:12:13 AM
From the article: The future of bitcoin remains a topic of hot debate, but young people are significantly more likely to trust the cryptocurrency than their older counterparts.

That's according to a new survey from Bankrate, which found that 5 percent of millennials (defined, in this case, as those aged 18 to 37) say bitcoin is the best place to put money they won't need for 10 years or more. Only 1.2 percent of Gen X-ers (ages 38 to 53) favor it for long-term saving, and less than 1 percent of boomers (ages 54 to 72) do.

My thoughts: Being a Millennial myself i think the same. I have recommended my dad and other family members to invest in BTC. Most of them don't understand the technology and some of them just want to profit off from it. I remember when i said to my dad when BTC was at 1.5K USD Last year to buy at least 2 BTC but he said he won't invest in something virtual, One of his friends said its a Ponzi. The Same dude bought BTCs when it reached $6K after the drop from $20K. On the other hand, my Best Bud who bought 6 BTC Last year at $1.2K is still holding them. He could have profited at when BTC reached $20K but he believes in the technology and is hodling like a champ.

Wouldn't recommend you guys to read the article, its all the usual BS which goes around from BTC being too volatile to never put all your eggs in one basket etc.
776  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-30] Bitmain Had $1.1 Billion in Profits in Q1 on: July 31, 2018, 08:47:17 AM
That's no joke. I really hope we see stronger competitors emerge in the next year or so.

There should be if a startup from China can make $1.1 billion in only 1 quarter. The cryptocoin mining industry has become a very big pie that surely many other entrepreneurs would want to compete for a piece.

That won't be happening anytime soon imo. Jihan has got the resources to buy up the best engineers and pay them 200% more than a startup could offer. Also, Chinese people have a culture to Follow the master, So for these engineers, if they get an offer from Bitmain "The master" in this case. Do you really think they won't accept it? The reason Bitmain has reached the stage at which it is purely because of these Cultural values. Plus it's not easy to find engineers who have such extensive knowledge of Cryptos along with ASIC Design.

This field requires research and money which not every startup is blessed with. Unless the startup can land an Angel Investor, the chances of a competition rising are slim.

Did you get any prior notice before he added my report page on the report to moderator page or when he added the improved image loading feature not so long ago? So, I disagree with you that he can not work on the live server without warnings. We don't know actually he worked on the live server or offline while he was making changes on those cases.

I meant that he ensures the updates are 100% ready before uploading them to the live server. Do you really think theymos will make a simple mistake like this? None of the other users faced this issue so it can't be that he just targetted your version. Plus the sessions are kept in the cookies. As you mentioned your pc was getting slow this could have been the result of HDD failure. Data corruption can be the root cause behind this. If you still aren't convinced wait for theymos himself to respond.
