821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dodo token a good buy for long term hold? on: March 30, 2022, 05:54:08 PM
Is DoDo token a good one to hold for long term? This dex have been on my mind for a long time now, its ATH was 7$ and now its trading at 0.55$ I believe its a good price to buy now or what do you think?

Dodo surely does something most other dex don't. I've been to it several times, most often due to the user generated staking pools and the crowdpoolings. Can't guarantee anything but it could be a safe buy on such low price. Specially when dex have several platforms to grow. I haven't studied well about the benefits of holding its token but if it has significant meaning, I'd be buying it at that price.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna movement to the Top 3 on: March 30, 2022, 03:40:32 PM
If I look at it for me Solana has best chance this couple of years. LUNA is doing good but still needs a lot of ground to cover.

I too believe Solana has more potential than LUNA as they are already leading in some fronts to other sidechains while LUNA is not a direct competitor at least at the moment. It doesn't mean one has to fall for another to rise but people would be looking closely which increases larger and which smaller. The places below of bitcoin would be a competing ground for all the cryptos and we are not going to have a clear winner anytime soon.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for legit football tokens on: March 29, 2022, 04:16:15 PM
Hi everyone I am a football fan ( Manchester United) and I heard that football/club tokens are reliable I want to know how to identify the good ones because I knew that there are many scams in crypto space, assuming a token belongs to Manchester United club how will I know its the legit one not fake?

Not sure about Manchester United but a lot of football clubs has partnered with socios to launch their fan/utility tokens and most of them are listed in popular exchanges like binance. You can find them through socios or on the binance exchange. The token holders would have perks and discounts while they would be involved in making club decision through voting. Find the official ones at https://www.socios.com/fan-tokens/
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the weirdest NFT project you’ve ever seen? on: March 29, 2022, 02:53:12 PM
My top weirdest NFT project Will Always be „farts in jar

If you’ve been online the first two weeks of 2022, you’ve likely seen the story of 90 Day Fiancé star Stephanie Matto. Last week, Input itself covered Matto’s pivot to selling non-fungible works of (f)art. The story is emblematic of the weirdness of the new world of NFTs.

“The project has really captured the mainstream media a lot,” Darren Lamb of Full House NFT Studio tells Input exclusively. The 27-year-old says he approached Matto in fall 2021 about the prospect of producing an NFT collection.

What’s yours?

I too did heard about that on news and it's fascinating and sad all at the same moment.
Talking about the weirdest one, I found how high priced are cryptopunks NFTs while all they are pixelated avatar looking pictures. https://cryptopunks.app/
Also weird are my NFTs collection which would cost me more to place it on marketplace than the money they'd earn me selling them.
Some of the high paid NFT's do look great but still they are lesser than a real art on paper while costing larger than some rare collection.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Russia brewing? on: March 28, 2022, 07:10:08 PM
Crypto has always been a friend for nations who are left alone by the rest. Venezuela, Iran they too took the help of crypto to trade with countries that they can't openly trade with. With the world divided by politics, companies and business would need alternative way to trade without being cancelled and crypto would let them do it indirectly. They don't even need to show those trades on their spreadsheet. With Ruble down, bitcoin would be a good option for Russia.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger awaits Metaverse coins on: March 27, 2022, 10:59:36 PM
Come to think of it, there is no metaverse project that's completed yet, they are all hanging on to their BETA self, if the bear market comes hard this time around I think metaverse coins will dip so much that the hype won't be no more until a project finally have a complete metaverse tech in action.

Metaverse is another hype which most probably won't even see the light of real world. A huge company as Meta is struggling to create and maintain a Metaverse and now several of wannabe project want to replicate it to some form. They'd probably make something simpler or just like todays MMORPG or just an iteration of online games but that too would be of poor quality. We've seen how crypto games project have failed and almost all of them are simple text and picture based RPG rather than a real game.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH future on: March 27, 2022, 04:25:57 PM
I fear for ETH future, almost all smart contract projects are using the PoS staking algorithm but only ETH PoW stands alone, this makes ETH different and one of a kind smart contract project, I think vitalik buterin will regret is decision after ETH goes PoS.

I'd support the decision to go POS. POW is going to be a controversial topic for crypto in the future and for a sustainable utility coin, it would be better to be environment friendly. POS are not any less secure than POW and with the whole team involved, it would maintain it's trust. The only thing bothering it is it's slow blockchain, I don't see it improving a lot even if they introduced shradding as the chain is already one of the heaviest.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way things are going with new crypto is worrisome on: March 24, 2022, 04:57:07 PM
Almost everyone I knew now creates their own tokens  Grin these guys aren't even crypto developers to begin with, they have no coding experience or knowledge now this makes me worry, imagine how many crypto tokens that are created by inexperienced personal, I think we need to buckle up for there will be huge rain of scam tokens upon us than what we've seen before...... Sigh! I wish that only few qualified people knew how to build blockchain projects.

It's the beauty of open source and with many people involved, we would have many brains. Everyone should and would eventually realize that not every cryptocurrency or blockchain are the same. It doesn't mean the Scam102 coins would yield the same profit for you as Scam101 yielded for your friend. It maybe confusing and overwhelming at first but with high number of scam and stupid tokens, people would developed a higher sense of filtering sooner.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: March 24, 2022, 03:34:08 PM
I'm sure there are a lot of you who are staking coins. I have a question for you guys: I have a friend who built a doge coin mining farm in order to get some coins and stake them, but I'm not sure how good staking is. How much money do you make from staking each month? People don't seem to be talking about their staking rewards, but miners seem to be...... Wink

Staking should be a part of your investment strategy. There are a lot of ways to stake involving various risks. Centralized exchanges provides the least risky and hassle free staking. Higher profitable staking are found among farm and pool yield aggregators but there are a few things to consider while investing on them including the price of the staked coin or the pair of them. Staking should be planned ahead and best be done with a fixed and longer period of time to avoid unnecessary fees.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to buy in a bear market? on: March 23, 2022, 05:45:14 PM
Among them, I bought some BSW at 35 cents a few weeks ago and today it hit 70 cents. Nice 100% profit within in month but on overall I'm still in loss. I hold a small amount of sandbox as well but no other coins from that list. Cake is another safe bet below $10. So is solana below $100.  Recently I've been attracted towards Bitgert (Bitrise) which promises to be Worlds first ever zero cost gas fee blockchain. It's still a work in progress so has equal chance of turning into a scam.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As big as binance in the future on: March 23, 2022, 04:10:49 PM
I was and still bullish about Coinex and FTX. Both personally I bought and sold both of their exchange tokens for loss. Coinex is backed by Viabtc which has an investment from Bitmain. They have one of the lowest trading and withdrawal fees and has also developed them as an online wallet like coinbase. FTX  arguably has the lowest fees. A bit difficult to get used to the interface but they are popular with high volume traders.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitgert Vs Shiba inu on: March 22, 2022, 11:42:17 PM
Just watched over Bitgert if it's something similar to Shiba Inu but no. It's not a meme coin and focuses on a different genre. The team seems fairly active on social media and if they get some good ratings from audit companies, I guess they have potential to rise in price in short term as well as in long as they advertise themselves as zero cost gas fees blockchain. Which is what everyone wants.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend crypto? If yes, for what? on: March 22, 2022, 04:42:25 PM
Pre-2015, I used it several times to convert to and from other digital gateways like Skrill, Paypal and PM. Even after that, I used my coins to top up my mobile several times, still doing it sometimes. I also bought a hosting and some domain names from Namecheap and a lot more domain names from Porkbun both of which supports crypto. I have also bought some VCC, accounts and even game keys with crypto. I have minimized it now but am planning to get a new hosting, this time from hostinger.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana have a future? on: March 21, 2022, 04:10:05 PM
IMO, Solana do have a future and in a price below 100, it's a good pick for high yields. Solana has already proved its worth with thousands of new project using its ecosystem. It has an active team and the fees are still pretty low for it to grow without any hassle. Though more projects would come for the same genre but we have already experienced how these platforms are co-exists and flourish as the gaps are being bridged.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about gaming and metaverse on: March 21, 2022, 03:15:46 PM
Guys I have few questions for you guys about p2e games and metaverse projects

1. Would you choose gala games over decentraland for future?
2. What do you think about metaverse future? Wil this work out on the long run because no project have shown a full working metaverse project so far.

What I've found with metaverse and games is people tend to keep jumping from one to another when they get old. Not only are people less interested when the platform is old, it also becomes difficult to reach achievements and stand out when the crowd is huge. So, they'd have better incentive to move to a new project and there's no scarcity of them. The industry would keep on evolving and some might get attention for a while but none would reign for a long time just like computer games.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not profitable anymore, Altcoins like Avalanche / Algorand etc. are on: March 20, 2022, 05:45:18 PM
Bitcoin is still profitable. May not be as largely profitable as Avalanche or Algorand but is still a safer bet than any other altcoins. And the chances price of bitcoin to keep rising is more than any random new altcoins as there are no real competitor to bitcoin on its genre. A new coins with newer tech could bring more utility but they would also be constantly fighting with newer similar coins while bitcoin has no actual competition.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash vs Monero on: March 20, 2022, 03:30:12 PM
Privacy is more about the use than the nature of coin. Bitcoin too could be seriously privacy focused coin if you use it with that motive. Monero and Zcash certainly makes it easier though. Monero is the favorite of the dark web that explains it's better trust among privacy focused customers.
For anyone who just wants to earn from the trade and investment, any coins that are readily available are good.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finding new exchange tokens on: March 10, 2022, 06:23:54 PM
I had initially bought and held coinex token for a long time without any profit. I thought it was a promising project and still do. I just lack the money to buy the Cex token again. With their newer approach with cheaper fees and as a payment gateway, wallet as well an exchange, I have high hopes with them. Bkex and Dodo as well are older exchanges with Dodo still having a good number of newer IEOs and presales.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Mimblewimble coins better than Monero? on: March 10, 2022, 04:46:45 PM
Mimblewimble ups the privacy game but in no way we could call monero inferior to it. Many coins including Monero has talked of implementing mimblewimble but it's not just the advanced technology that provides privacy and trust. Monero is famous and working for what it is. There are a number of mimblewimble coins that are still struggling to get attention. Almost all of the new coins are superior to bitcoin technologically but are no competition to it. Comparing monero the king of privacy coin with any other is a similar stance.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart Move... on: March 10, 2022, 03:53:51 PM
Do you think converting my XRP holdings to Solana for long term hold is a smart move?

Of course it is. I don't see huge future for ripple it could remain and increase in price but it won't have much larger use case than it already has. While solana has still a large room to expand and it's price is lower than a few months ago. Ripple has been tested by many bulls and bears while solana price move got stuck due to the latest bear and could achieve high when the bull follows.
