I feel like that's mainly because most artists feel shame if they ever do something that is not beautiful, and they fear a lot what would other people say about it. So, let's say you are a designer who will design something for roobet, what if you aren't picked? How could you say that it would be a good thing or a bad thing? I feel like that's not going to happen that easily.

This is why I keep saying that the best thing to do in this case is to figure out a way to get out of this pit they put themselves into and just do it. Why do you think nike has the slogan "just do it"? It's not about being first, it's about being in the race, because then you already passed so many people and that's why it matters so much. I personally hope people can see that.
If comparing one's self to others is a thief of joy then the fear of being judge by others is another thief of joy. We must not live in other's expectation. You are not pick as a winner but it does not mean your creations are ugly, it's just there are other entries who stand out a little. It's a good thing actually to challenge your self and try harder next time.

Besides, there are still consolation prizes that we can get if we are among the top 3, 5 or 10. I don't know if Nike intends to motivate the people but it was still a nice phrase even it it's not intentional. It reminds us to stop making excuses but just to do whatever we have in mind except only the bad ones of course.

Well a true artist is never disappointed with his art. Sometimes it is the judge or peeps around us who are not able to identify the intensity of art and artist when they make it. It may happen that a particular person may not understand some Arts thus putting his mindset to the next one and that art could be bad in comparison to the master piece but just because a judge or viewer failed to understand affection behind it.

You can not force someone to like your art and true artists understand that this is the way for them. If everyone would have understood the Arts then world would have been a painted canvas already.

If lost then just kee trying.

Honestly how can we distrust the Credit cards if they were made in the first place? Why did they make a system of OTP authentication, 3D secure password and checksums before you can approve any transactions? Come on we can have that much trust for sure. If you have above options turned on then why do you fear about it anyway? Whether it’s a casino or it’s shopping mall your CC will give you similar level of security on both end products. I barely doubt you have to worry about anything like that. If you think there is suspicion about a casino then just change your method of payment, that’s all.

Amazing ANN and color choice. Just love the theme you guys have put here. Also visited your website and no doubt you have worked on the detailing already. I am very much interested in using it and trying out my luck on the casino.

I am also happy to see the bonuses and promotion section of your Casino. This is something unique I have seen so far and most preferably the 25% cashback. Damn that is going to be crazy one for the hardcore gambler. This is high rakeback offered so far.

Just wishing you good luck and hope to see your casino getting older and growing up with fellow members. Smiley

Well, if we add the verification code, they can still create multiple accounts and verify those accounts and if they use fake emails they will lose the possibility of withdraw because we send a withdraw verification code if they don't enter the code the withdraw request won be send to us

Honestly, I don’t see the point of verification code for fighting multiple account. It’s very easy to create multiple email address with just one mobile number. An abuser will find a way to deal with restrictions if the casino doesn’t have KYC which is the only way to assign ownership to an account 1:1.

This is the downside of having no KYC policy. It’s good in general for players but I doubt that you can keep up offering a bonus without someone abusing it because there’s a lot of casino being subject by bonus abused even if they have strict KYC policy and wagering requirements.

Can you give as an update on what’s your future plan on dealing with abuser and at the same time offering bonus?

There is always a positive and negative side to the features of gambling sites. I have seen peeps fighting over why casinos need my KYC, "I want my money without KYC verification", and much more. It is intriguing that whenever there is a non-KYC-based casino the opposite cases will be argued, just like the account authentication that we are discussing here.

I think non-KYC casinos can only rely on the IP addresses or maybe do mobile verification. Systems are in a place where virtual mobile numbers can be identified. So if any user is using such services could easily get flagged anyways. This might be a poor setting but it would be something more than nothing.

Apart from that some casinos are using level-based KYC. This starts with basic KYC, a single document, then goes to the above level with multiple verifications. This is anyway based on how much money is getting gambled. Not sure it would work or not.

[King Dice] Deposit $10 and Get $50 extra Plus 50 free spins!

This is fairly nice promotion. Once can easily get back the investment that is done. Considering $10 bucks is little amount or new normal on every casino it’s gonna get back with that extra 50 bucks and 50 spins. Though spins could be hard to rely on but it’s not just 10 or 20 but entire pack of 50 which makes me think it’s entirely feasible to play and win bigger amount. This should have been on the Book of Dead, the best slot so far and lucky one for me. Hope so some day they add promo for it as well.

Your art will be made in a progress and you have to make screenshots, videos as proofs of your art when you submit it in the art contest. It is one of rules from art contest and it is helpful for your to prove your ownership as well as to prevent cheaters to steal your art and claim it as theirs.
Yes you can also upload WIP gallery but only links with image hosting platform but only post the final images in the art contest thread as per new rules. But yes if you are making your original artwork and want to participate then you don't need to worry at all.Rest all depends on how much good your art is and team preferences.

Let us not forget the logo of Roobet needs to be displayed on it somewhere. First this will prove its genuine artwork made specially for the contest that you are entering and secondly you should sign the art, may be put a unique mark of your username or something that will give more authenticity as compared to just sharing from hosted image site. That is even better for proving the ownership. When it’s digital art it’s even easier to put a sign digitally. For physicals it’s better to have mini boards around the artwork. And for even miniature artworks like mine in the pencil carving have some place to keep the sign on. Difficult but worth proving ownership game.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Assess a Memecoin and Not Get Scammed ;) on: May 17, 2023, 10:33:41 AM
This is good information and dex tools are just awesome. They are coming real handy I guess when checking projects status. This strategy is far better than the paid services where they claim they asses the project validity and check for you whether you should invest in that particular coin/token or not? The dex tools can give a clear idea of its liquidity, daily traded volume, ongoing orders and it's volume. Everything contributes to shaping the clear picture of that particular project.

I am not sure if this strategy or dex tool is only applicable to the memecoin alone but it should be updated with the other projects' information as well. Since it is a decentralized tool, it might be synched with all the chain projects other than meme coins.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS an asset. Do you think it's bad? on: May 15, 2023, 08:37:03 PM
Yeah this assumption and fight over it has been done all the time on this forum and there was no real outcome so far. Peeps have started calling it asset or coin alternative and as per the context they are using. I’m sure that won’t matter a lot and it never did. Bitcoin has value and peeps are going to take it as an opportunity to invest thus may speak in terms of assets or alternative when they are transferring or exchanging then it could be a coin that they are sending. It barely matters. Bitcoin is bitcoin, rest is just nomenclature.

Thanks for sharing the detailed review about this wallet. I was looking for iOS based wallet and wanted to have handy wallet which will be able to sign and verify the messages. This is really helpful when I’m selling my artwork across borders and the payment is in bitcoins. I’m not fan of Electrum and Mycelium does not have easy option to do so. Plus it’s way buggy than any other wallet (still I am using it, that’s funny).

Anyway, I think I will make review about this wallet with updated version, and from the perspective of new user of the same. I am not sure is it just me or everyone but OP images are not visible at all??

830  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: May 14, 2023, 04:11:44 PM
And don't forget that the speed at which we copy and paste the code we get from social media also affects how we can get the promotion.
In addition, the luck factor in getting the promotion is also decisive because we have to be able to be at the right time to immediately use it in our account.
The speed at which social media reaches people is unimaginable and in just a few minutes, hundreds or even thousands of people are already using it.
Right whenever they drop some codes they have also set limits upto which it could be used and till the time you copy and paste to claim it you can be shown message limit exceeded for coupon so you need to be fast and enable all the notifications to get instant message about any such promotion when there are thousands of them waiting for such opportunities.

The reason why Duelbits code is very quick to claimed all is because its literally a quick cash without any wagering requirements. With just a minimal luck, You can turn free money to withdrawal money when you are lucky on early bets. I manage o take home many significant amount of Duelbits cash drop. The highest profit I get from 2$ cash drop is 100$.

I believe many abusers is claiming too and taking the chance to win some profit out of nothing.

Well abusing is one thing that takes away such promotions and thus users who are very loyal to the casino get nothing but the harsh side of it. We can’t do anything about it as long as such scammers are out there. I don’t know, some technical person with good IT knowledge may just run a script which could fetch such details and put it into their account and thus receive big chunk of the free giveaways. Thought it could be just vain assumption but who knows what these peeps are capable of ?

I have stopped looking for the code. I’m more shaky copying then than creating my art so better to just see the notification and be happy I am in touch with Duelbit. This makes me play some slots for sure. Lolz. So Duelbit already winning in the promotion side for sure.

They are very good as long as the data management system is in place and financials are taken care by them with at most safety. Mostly decentralised casino would have our wallets connected with them and that’s also method of choice when it comes to signing up with them. Coming down to web3 upgrades they are definitely on the new horizon and would like to wait for longer to see some strong casino showing up with their perfections for legend players. Today itself saw announcement from one of the decentralised sports betting site and I’m convinced they are somehow good. The only way to know is to try out many of them and have review put together.

Though I am not sure what real purpose could be (technically) but I’m sure it’s gonna be fun tool to be used for searching various layman topics and terms. When I opened your tool the first thought came in to search for ChatGPT and see what result it throws back.

I was expecting hundreds of thousand results in return but to my surprise it just came back with 22 results.

One noticing thing was, it associated the ChatGPT with one of the Darwins Evolution theory.

Question: does it hide text with asterisk for the safety reasons or for example out of copyright law to protect the breach of data?

In the result viewer shows data hidden with asterisks. (Many things to learn about this tool tbh)

# The State of Darwin’s Theory of Evolution in 2023

Gregory F. Coppola

**************Apocalypse Like Right Now**************

April 12, 2023

# Introduction

This essay explores the case *******against******* the (Darwinian) theory of ****************************************undirected evolution****************************************. We refer to proponents of undirected evolution as ********atheists********.

The conclusions are as follows:

- the default position should be ***********agnosticism***********, not *******atheism*******, until the data suggests otherwise, following the principle of **************maximum entropy**************
- the theories of ********************undirected evolution******************** (atheism) and ******************intelligent design****************** are exhaustive
    - i.e., there are only the two alternatives
- the theory of evolution is not like other theories in science
    - there are major “mysteries” remaining at every level of the atheist theory
        - the onus is on the atheists to fill out their theory
    - the theory of evolution is a research program not a theory
        - a research program cannot be falsified
        - the onus is on atheists to make falsifiable predictions, or admit that they don’t have a theory
    - evolution is mostly a set of “just so” stories, that superficially use the word “because” to describe the past, but don’t actually predict when evolution will take place
- we identify a fallacy, the ******************functional fallacy******************
    - the belief that a deep understanding of biological processes as they function today implies an understanding of the *******genesis******* of these processes
        - the everyday operation of biological functions **is** well-understood, but the genesis of these is not

# Only Two Options

We begin by discussing that there are apparently only two alternatives for the explanation of the human race.

We believe that this can be shown to be an exhaustive list.

The two alternatives are:

1. **intelligent design**
    - we are a product of design by an *****************intelligent being*****************
2. **undirected evolution**
    - we are a product of a series of **********undirected********** events
    - proponents of this theory are called ********atheists********

We believe that the definition of **********undirected********** that fits the intuition and practical usage of this term is:

- definition of **undirected**
    - arising **without** intelligence

Thus, as a matter of definition, there are the only two options:

- either we are a product of “an intelligent designer” or we are not

More precisely, consider any object $X$, which could be either:

- the universe
- the planet earth in its place in the universe
- any given species on planet earth
- humans

We say that either $X$ is a product of an “intelligent cause”, or else it is not. If $X$ is not the product of an “intelligent cause”, then it is a product of an “undirected” cause.

# A Priori, the Default Position Should Be Agnosticism

## Artificial Intelligence is a Program to do Science

There are certain areas of unclarity in the question of how science can be done.

We believe that in 2023 the philosophy of science should be informed by reference to artificial intelligence.

That is, artificial intelligence tools do *****science*****.

However, unlike humans, in order for a computer program to do science, it has to follow a specified procedure.

Thus, artificial intelligence programs force us to specify science as a procedure.

When humans do science, because the “software” for doing science exists in the human’s brain, a human being doing science does not need to *******consciously******* be able to explain optimal science.

Humans have been doing science since the first appearance of language.

But, the ability to describe science as an algorithm dates only the 21st century.

Thus, it has long been possible with **do** science, without exactly knowing what that actually means.

However, when a computer does science, because it is following a specific program, either the equations implemented in the program work, in which case artificial intelligence succeeds wildly, or they don’t, in which case the program can predict either nothing, or else nothing impressive.

Practice has shown that neural networks are trained by the maximization of certain equations.

## Maximum Entropy Training

ChatGPT is trained using cross-entropy using the principle of maximum entropy.

The principle of ***************maximum entropy*************** is:

- principle of ******************************maximum entropy******************************
    - find the most uniform distribution consistent with available information

In other words, given a data set, the principle of maximum entropy dictates we should pick the probability distribution that is the ************least biased************ ****************between predicting alternatives that the dataset does not support.

## Agnosticism

In the context of the debate between intelligent design or undirected evolution, ***if there were*** no evidence to choose between alternatives, the default position should be one of agnosticism.

However, in 2023, we do have abundant data-driven reasons to doubt whether undirected evolution is possible.

# The Necessity of Falsifiability in Science

## The Burden of Proof in Science

The way that science is ********supposed******** to work is that, in order to introduce a significant new theory, the proponent of that theory should make:

- clear, falsifiable predictions
- predict more than it mis-predicts

## Research Program versus Falsifiable Theory

However, there are certain cases in the history of science, where something else is able to arise: a ******research program******.

A research program is the *project* to look for a falsifiable theory.

A research program cannot be falsified.

## Chomsky’s Minimalist Program

Chomsky wrote of his “Minimalist Program”:

> It is important to recognize that the Minimalist Program (MP) under development in this work, and since, is a program, not a theory, a fact that has often been misunderstood. (The Minimalist Program, 2015, page vii)
>

In other words, *******nothing******* can falsify the minimalist program, because it is not a specific theory.

As the old saying goes:

> It’s good work if you can get it.
>

The idea that a scientist can be at work and taken seriously without a falsifiable theory is a deeply corrosive and

Yup, anyone who’s gambling since long knows this for sure or at least had a worst experience someday to pull themselves together. This is what happened with me one day when I was playing on Vegus Plus casino. They have variety of crash games (rockets, ships, war sails etc). It was so addictive on that casino I ended up playing for hours and hours. Game after game, even the back used to hurt man.

That was the day when I realised, I have to put heavy limits on myself and keep it real low.

Pretty much what OP suggested should be the workflow. Usually I play and if I’m losing in streak then im stopping right there and might give couple of days gap before I can start again.

Your casino is really attractive and very simple. The loading time is surprisingly way faster as compared to the centralized casinos out there. The UI says it all actually.
You directly get connected with the betting dashboard and can select the option or even interact even if you don't have any type of account online.

You have kept around 13 wallets in the options menu to connect with your blockchain-based casino/sportsbook and that's just what a user wants. Since you already have the popular wallets that are Wallet Connect and Coinbase wallet, there is hardly little chance any user would be disappointed.

I do not know the mechanism of to and forth algorithm here but it does seem to be pretty slick. How will your site keep a record of winning and losing bettors?

So if I win then winnings are automatically sent out to my wallet and who pays the fee for transfers?

835  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Way to Send Bitcoin without Internet [Theoretical Idea] on: May 13, 2023, 08:01:50 AM
I mean the offline sending purpose was for the regions where only GMS or EDGE is available. That's one and second when someone is entering into a zone where the internet is the issue and all they have is the support of a cellular network. (GSM or EDGE). You can't even refresh a page without having 3G or 4G these days so synching wallet would be horrible.

we can have a Host/mining pool integrated with SMS receiving protocol. This will help the pool/host to keep track of any messages that are getting sent to it. Once it receives the message with valid transaction information, it should be able to download it and add it to the current block for confirmation.
You don't need a mining pool for this, just anyone will do. You can setup your own service, and broadcast the transaction online to all miners.

Quote
Once the miner confirms the transaction it should be able to send back the information in SMS format to the receiver's device.
There's a problem: you'll have to either trust the miner, or download a lot of data (like Electrum does).

So data you mean I will have to have a copy of the blockchain somewhere and synch it with whatever data is getting fed to me over SMS? Like that?
But the idea was that, once a miner is picking up my txid for confirmation via SMS, then he will do the job of confirming it and then send it back with updated confirmation data through SMS. This SMS will be read by the wallet in offline mode and thus update the balance within the wallet.

Wouldnt that solve the entire problem?
Isn't the Air-Gap is getting filled with that SMS itself and thus no need of downloading the data? The only issue that the blockchain should know this transaction happened already is getting resolved by the miner's side. That's what I am imagining here. . .

for those looking to hustle into promotion offers in twitter the best way is probably turning on alerts
I tried once or twice with duelbits promos there and it "sold out" just too fast, when I arrived all the coupons were already gone

better luck next time
I haven once tried to enable the notifications for duelbits tweets but whenever they drop some giveaways the users rush who are most of the time active there and you will see hundred of likes and rt within few minutes. But still you can try with your luck to see if you get a chance. In free redeemable codes you can get chance if you are fast so it could help you.
When the promotion is spread through social media, we can get it too late because many people will try to use it.
I never got a promotion for activating it late and while there was a notification, it didn't do much to get either.
But it's a great way to get the attention of people who use social media and aren't using these forums to interact with Duelbits.
We can still give it a try because, one day, we could be one of the lucky ones to get that promotion and use it in Duelbits.

Ideally, everyone gets it at exactly the same time it is launched over some owners' dashboards. It's just that our devices and internet connectivity can hamper this transmission a lot. There is definitely a higher chance that at least 2000 peeps are active at the time of code was being released and thus it could get availed very quickly.

There is no second thought to this. You have to have the luck to be one of those 1-2 thousand peeps who access it very first. It's either pure luck or staying at the right time at the right place kinda stuff.

Notifications of social media suck. I have seen getting notifications as old as a few hours back and by the time I reach the post, there are already hundred to thousands of shares/retweets and likes. We only have one solution to this, and that's --> keep trying.

I have literally had one device of the ledger and another wallet installed on my phone for a very long time. I never stumbled upon your thread or was not around this section a lot to know this one. I will surely use this software to turn my old device into a hardware wallet. My method of doing it air-gapped is very simple, you turn it off and don't turn it on until you want the funds out of it. Lolz. Very poor method to work with it but so far it's far better than my ledger. I lost the ledger once and also found it but obviously one could not forget the big old mobile device laying around which just lost.

I will graciously download the AirGap Knox on my device which I have dedicated for the same purpose mentioned. I will try to turn it into a hardware wallet with your guide and hopefully will write down a review here or in the new thread itself. Thanks for this. Smiley

Wow guys, did not think I would see BTC go down this low again, but it has. I thought now US isn't going to raise interest rates things go back to normal plus there is worry of recession.

On the other hand nice to collect more satoshis, and I might get tempted to exchange my 2000 WOF spins if we see 10/11 satoshi again per spin hehe.

Are you serious right now? Damn, since when you have been collecting these man? That's just amazing to know someone is in possession of 2000 spins. You must have waited how much, over a year or something if you have bought the basic premium plan then that's the amount of time you will take to reach 2000+ spins.

Right now I am having like 450 or something and I tried to control myself but tried out my luck after a few members on the forum showed how they are winning some biggies on the wheel. I could not believe I did that already and that too with such lowered reward of the satoshi/RP.

I have seen someone playing 1000 WOF and showing their results on this thread itself. Couldn't wait to see what you receive.

Secondly, that’s just amazing affiliate program. Something unique as compared to most of the online casinos out there. They would just simply have high wagering requirement for the referee users, low commission which would never fill up your balance at all.

Considering the three type of commissions they seems to be carefully segregated and designed. Great work and hope you will bring good luck to all the gamblers like me.  Tongue
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Speeding up transaction with Electrum/Ledger -Transaction not showing? on: May 11, 2023, 03:16:03 PM
How does one include the transaction in the block manually or submit a request to a specific miner to mine my transaction and confirm it?
Anyone that control mining pool can include the transaction that they like and when the mining pool mine a block, the transactions the mining pool included into their candidate block will have confirmation.

Your txid is enough. Use the txid of your unconfirmed transaction on a free accelerator like:

https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/.

What happens if I submit it in 3-4 accelerators?
Most accelerators are fake because they are not accelerating anything.

Consider mining pool hashrates in relation to others to know how fast the mining pool can mine a block. But if they they (I mean the mining pool) include the transaction to be accelerated, your transaction will be mined at anytime that any of the mining pool mine a block

That is an interesting way to accelerate the transaction, and that is what I wanted to include in one of my ideas here: Way to Send Bitcoin without Internet [Theoretical Idea]
All we want to submit a txid to the miner and they can do the rest.

This post gave me little hope for the topic that I posted above. Since we are already accelerating the transactions by manually submitting our txid to the miners then sending BTC offline is no big deal, via SMS.

About the multiple accelerator submission: So does it mean I can still send txid to multiplier miners and whoever includes it to the immediate block will be able to register it as confirmed while others will just give me more confirmation by increasing the confidence level?
