For anyone who values their sanity: don't click "Show/Hide".
CH is basically whining about not receiving merits in this thread while other users did, therefore merit system is bad and 250-merit requirement is bad, whereas 2000 activity is good. You've probably heard that before.
CH should just go to the WO thread, request a hat avatar, and post rocket memes. He'll have 250+ merits in no time. It's really not that hard.

Yes, it would be very helpful, along with: - Requirement for a signed message with the previous key in order to register a new one
I'm not too sure that I like this idea. I ended up staking a new address because the original was controlled by coinbase. Unfortunately, coinbase disabled the ability to sign a message. I don't think the simple fact of losing a key should put a beloved account at risk of being locked out forever. I know us Bitcoiners are used to it. However, it is actually a security flaw to make access totally unrecoverable if keys are lost. What happened to you regarding coinbase can't happen with PGP keys. These keys are yours only and can't ever be managed by anybody else, even less so exclusively by someone else. PGP keys should be backed-up and safely kept. If someone loses their PGP keys it would at least be a sign they're not very well at security. There could be a way to set a new PGP certificate if the last one's keys were lost, but it shouldn't be easy at least. It should require some deep verification. But this is really secondary compared to first actually having PGP keys registered into the forum, that or another standard that proves to be more secure. Eventually losing your keys or having them compromised is the way of the universe. However, I guess for the purpose of this forum, there is no need for anyone else to gain access in the event of my death.

The good news for me is that I would gain my vote again by the April vote, unless I stopped posting. The 2000 activity limit would take a while though... What I find a bit odd is that none of these criteria would exclude Lauda unless theymos put her on the blacklist. Isn't Lauda one of the main targets for cryptohunter?
You might be confusing CH with someone who can do math or logic TBH, I usually don't get past the 1st sentence on most of CH's posts. Therefore, it's a challenge to do a complete analysis of the logic.

so your proposal will exclude 45 members ( including me ) , but do you really think that these 45 votes are the issue ? suchmoon i don't want to be greedy with my "wants" but can you put a list of those who won't be able to "vote" if cryptohunter's proposal is applied ? It's not ~45 users losing the right to vote. ~100 users would lose the right to vote and ~55 users would gain it. The lists below is not 100% accurate because my merit data is ~2 weeks old but it should give you a good enough approximation of the impact. The good news for me is that I would gain my vote again by the April vote, unless I stopped posting. The 2000 activity limit would take a while though... Not threatening you. You wanted clarification on why I should know what you look like. I was explaining it to you.
So as you now deny the dox that exists on the board is you then stop blathering on crying about it. If it was real then fair enough.
I personally doubted it was you. Did not look evil enough.
Is this more like what you are expecting? Or perhaps something like this? Or maybe this?

@OP. First of all, the correct word you should be using is lend instead of borrow in most of your request. Lend is the act of giving someone money or goods to pay back later. Borrow is the act of receiving money or goods that needs to be paid back. Second, it is not considered good on this forum for a newbie account to request a loan without some type of collateral. The preferred collateral is another altcoin that is usually equal to 120% in value of what you are requesting and has good liquidity. (Listed on multiple high volume exchanges.) I recommend that you lock this thread and move the topic to archive in a hurry, before you attract more red trust.

Just find my posts Still not possible to find 10 consecutive posts in any thread without stake signature, not only in gambling section they invaded all the sections of Bitcointalk. Even the boards that don't display signatures are not safe due to that ultra-annoying avatar. I'm glad theymos is going to end the insanity. Actually, I don't mind most of the animated avatars, but something about stake.com really hurts my eyes.

Everyone listen up, I got victimize of electrum phishing today. I loss my BTC, just want to share so you will know guys, you can read my story here - 2018 Crypto theft overview I decided not to reinstall an OS and just run an anti virus to scan my computers, it's still safe for me? The recommendation that I see repeated over and over again in the Electrum child board is to reinstall the OS, unfortunately. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=98.0 Several people have become victims of this. Perhaps you should invest in a hardware wallet like a Trezor or Ledger.

Did you mean this one, bones261? https://keepass.info/Please confirm that what I searched and posted is the right software that you suggested. I don't want to use phising password manager, LOL. Yes, that is the webpage my software directs me to.

Hmph. I'm not going to sit here helping other people earn new shiny badges and see myself get left out. From my perspective, this new badge would make me feel so used.

I think if you have to use a strong password So hacking the account is not so easy, But you need to know the common issues for using the Internet.
How can I use a strong password?
Ans: first use 4digit any name first Capital later and then small later (ex: Apem), then secondly use 4disit number(ex: 1234), lastly use 4digit special character (ex: @#$%), You need to have a password (ex: Apem1234@#$%) It is almost impossible to hack your password If you are cautious.
Having the different elements in clumps is not good practice for a good password. I usually use a password manager to generate my passwords. Only problem with them is that I need my password manager, since I can't keep the passwords in my mind. Perhaps @P3^^l2e4A#S0/O
