i think the policy should be social distancing. but if your seen licking random peoples faces/door knobs expect to be named and shamed and dealt with for being stupid. including paying a 'stupidity tax'

im ok with people wanting to protest your right. but if your going to turn up wearing a gun and touching people .. in other words putting other people at harm/risk of harm/threat. expect to pay a 'stupidity tax' aka a fine

and to all those stupid people that want to spit at police or ambulance staff and say 'i hope you get it, you cant touch me' get isolated in a prison cell and pay a stupidity tax

its ok to want to do things yourself. but if what you do affects other people. then take responsibility for how it can affect other people. rights DO come with responsibilities

Touching people without permission is assault. Spitting on people is assault. None of these things are inherent or legitimate forms of protest. Wearing a gun is a right. Cute how you tacked that on there.

They get their retribution for speaking a little too freely, and they get to send a message that anyone who is critical of them pays consequences for their actions. It is not moot at all!

What consequences? Any nutjob can create a pointless thread about anything, like you do incessantly about posts that aren't deleted to your liking. Are those threads supposed to be your retribution against users speaking too freely?

The only thing that may have consequences for hacker1001101001 is his continuing lies.

This... as if you don't know I am responding directly to your quote.

...However it would likely be a temporary ban anyway so the point of the OP is kinda moot.

Ah, this is one of those things where you're explaining to other people that the meaning of their posts is the opposite of what the actual words say.

If hacker1001101001's posts violate rules they should be reported and if he deserves a temp-ban because of that - he should get it (or maybe get "time served" if the moderators are so inclined). Not because someone posted a wall of text arguing for double jeopardy. Which part of this is too complicated for you?

No, it is one of those things where I respond to a direct question from you as far as what the consequences of these retribution based peanut hunts would be. What you meant is irrelevant, unless that is, you are trying to say your words didn't mean that he could receive a temporary ban. None of the information presented is even conclusive, not that it stops you and your clown friends from trying to manufacture a self serving narrative with peanut fragments and duct tape.

883  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] Should I donate the Known Alts Donation funds to Bruno's plea? on: April 17, 2020, 12:09:00 AM
We also don't know for certain if that was him making the posts. The images he posted are from December last year. Multiple people have had access to that account over the years and someone could have easily made that post with or without his consent or involvement.

This is certainly a possibility, but the odds of some one else timing this so closely with his death seem pretty slim. Con artists also have some very distinct tells as well when they are running a con, and I didn't see any serious red flags in any of his postings. I do agree though it is probably a good idea to stop sending coins to his addresses though until it is absolutely verified his family has access.

The government should be implementing guidelines and recommendations, not mandates. Any mandates in regard to this situation are not within their powers under the constitution, and are simply a way to train the chattel property to obey commands, regardless of their legal powers to do so. This is just a tool for power hungry people to dictate how people live their lives. That said, wearing masks is probably a good idea, but that doesn't mean the government should, or does have the authority to mandate it.

@TECHSHARE while I don’t like governments crossing a line but these are extraordinary times, and we need to support good decisions like these otherwise people will never wear masks and the infection will never stop spreading.

Literally every time rights are stripped, it is under the pretenses of some emergency, and under the pretext of "providing security" in some form. Then magically the "temporary" measures become permanent, and then the next time a disaster rolls around, they take it up another notch, never once taking a step back. Lots of people died to provide these freedoms, and people are handing them over willingly for the illusion of safety. If you are afraid, take measures and be responsible for yourself. Encourage others to take precautions. You don't have a right to strip others of their rights to give yourself the illusion of safety.

You are a real big fan of projection aren't you? Dictators always have a "reason". If they are fining and arresting people for going about their lives it is not an advisory then now is it? Too bad you don't lose your job and are forced to pick fruit for a living.

so your saying that gyms just shut in america and sacked all their staff....
... then how come some american gyms diverted to doing online live video fitness training

so your saying that pizza places just closed and sacked their staff
... then how come some american pizza places stil serve delivery customers

so all IT workers justgot sacked..
.. then how come many american IT guys do remote management and remote support and follow social distancing guidelines if they have to make physical repairs

heck i can still buy clothes from clothing brands. (online) i can even stil get cupcakes from shops that usually only serve customers to walk-in.. yep they moved to service online orders/deliveries too

the only businesses that really take a hit is those that cant avoid socia physical contact.
however some survive and thrive
i have recently seen some conferences which were tickets for seats in a hall.. now are webinar/video conferences.
even the movie industry that usually gets funds from cinema's. decided to shift straight to streaming for their new releases

if you actually try, you could probably find a way to adapt your work skills to fit into self isolation or social distancing guidelines

but if you want to just go to a park with a group of guys and rub up against them and pretend 'its just daily exercise officer' then yea expect for them to not believe you.
just the same as parking a car in a stupid place. a fine is not a proof of criminality or breaking the law. its proof that stupidity will cost you money for petty things that can easily be avoided for the greater good of the community as a whole

I am sure that is consolation to the millions of people who did lose their jobs. Again state mandates, and guidelines for adaptation are very different things. You know who else said it was for "the greater good" don't you?

I don't see connection either. Lauda?

Mr hacker, may I remind you that I didn't really looked into all this closer and you are digging yourself a bigger whole over and over again. You claim that you have not been engaged in this business for years while proofs are telling different story:

Elaborate recent ICO bumps coming from accounts closely connected to you.

It looks a lot like you are the one digging the hole.

This war between groups that want to control DT
Exposing ICO bump service or how some people call it, spam service, is not "war between groups that want to control DT"! You will never say that all these users are in war https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4720640.0 you are selectively choosing where to post and what to post.

Account TECSHARE should go to that topic and start shilling for other spambies, especially the ones payed to post fake reviews for ICO's, like he is shilling for this fraudulent service for last 4 months.

coordinated
critical
clowns
retribution
abuse
system

them.

For more details check:

PUBLIC WARNING:

Account TECSHARE is shilling hard for fraudulent payed positive ICO reviews and interfering with investigation of such fraudulent service

 >>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5213922.0;all <<<

"ICO bump service" is highly deceptive and malicious service which highly misleads potential investors and leads to money loss

It is beyond my knowledge how this plagiarist, fraudulent bump account and spam service got the second chance.

Use "Report to moderator" and report the posts that break the rules. I doubt there was only one plagiarized post.

A wall of text is unlikely to convince moderators to just ban him again for a previously reported issue.
That is correct. I just remembered something  Smiley

I don't call it a war between groups either. I call it a bunch of clowns trying to punish people for criticizing them. Well, you got me! We both use words. That is all the proof needed by the clown car to determine guilt. Tell me, exactly how am I "interfering"?

I don't think the ban hammer absolves all preceding "sins". E.g. if a solid link can be established between the sockpuppets and it can be shown that he spam-bumped threads with multiple accounts, that should be viewed as a separate issue. However it would likely be a temporary ban anyway so the point of the OP is kinda moot.

They get their retribution for speaking a little too freely, and they get to send a message that anyone who is critical of them pays consequences for their actions. It is not moot at all!
891  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: April 16, 2020, 03:22:49 PM
Choosing to stay home and being forced by the state to stay home are two very different things.

but missing the point of the reason for it

'i want to stay safe behind a closed door but i want government to tell businesses to open their doors'

it was advisory not marshal law. it is the idiots that dont listen to advice and independently choose that its in their best interest to safe safe.. so when they disregard advice it make things harder for themselves. by making government have to get more involved.

here is the critical detail.
people can actually work. people can start businesses. they just have to do it in a safe way for both their staff and their customers.

new businesses have popped up that offer food delivery, some businesses change the products they create.
i can only speak mainly from UK point of view but bars(pubs) might have closed their doors to serving pints of beer. but in many places their staff are still working by offering food and bottled/canned alcohol delivery.

the government hasnt forced everyone take a few months off. they advised if a business cant operate at safe social distancing then its best they change or take a break. (still a choice)

businesses can actually operate again if they can show they doing it sensibly where there is an actual need

for instance mercedes benz stayed running, but realised car manufacturing would not really be good because not many people will want to buy cars. so they diverted to making hospital ventilators

yes coffee shops might be closed. but they can always divert to delivery of certain items

i just took a little browse of many government/state websites and what im finding is alot of advice on how to protect workers while in work.. strangely nothing about 'enjoy a nice break from work'

its actually the businesses that went from 0 to 100 and laid people off before thinking about changing old habits.
the main advice from most is businesses that operate by having customers congregate in a way that cant be avoided by any 2m rule. should change or take a break

but here is one little funny part i have noticed
while barista's cant serve customers and cry how they cant work.. farmers are literally screaming for workers to help pick the harvests..

You are a real big fan of projection aren't you? Dictators always have a "reason". If they are fining and arresting people for going about their lives it is not an advisory then now is it? Too bad you don't lose your job and are forced to pick fruit for a living.

gotta love some of the source material.. long tailback of cars on a highway in michigan to protest..

hmm if the protesters think there is no problem and that it should just be business as usual. then why are they too afraid to get out of their cars...
if they are too afraid to get out of their cars, they secretly know there is actually a health risk and dont want to come out from the security of a closed door..
losening the lockdown which is technically to allow people to get out their cars and go to workplaces and mingle.. seems to be making the protest a moot point by protesters wanting to remain behind closed doors for their own safety

Choosing to stay home and being forced by the state to stay home are two very different things.

I'm not sure. He said 7years for CIVIL, not criminal. This is not a district attorney going after the perp, but the victim himself, funding the entire thing from his own pocket. And there's no certainty of winning, there are many ways weaseling out of even what seems like a sure case

Read what he said again Captain Condescension. I know the difference between criminal and civil law. Aren't you the least bit disgusted with yourself using such a topic as a mechanism for your own personal spats?

There is plenty of evidence to support these ideas as well as logical basis. There are the means, motive, and opportunity. You simply throwing around insults is not an argument and just shows the pathetic level of what you call discourse.

+1 to all of this. Some people are freaking out and saying that this is a bio weapon, but I think that's so much bullshit. If this was a bioweapon by China, and the American intelligence groups had found that out by now -- Trump and the rest of his admin would've made that public. They would've wanted public support behind starting some sort of war with China (even if it's just economical instead of with a military)

Plus the fact that if this was a bioweapon, this would've been a HORRIBLE bioweapon as they killed and infected a large amount of their own people while doing this. Just saying.

War is based on deception. If they did have that information, they lose the advantage of leaving China in the dark as far as their knowledge of their complicity in creating and releasing this virus, and have less time to prepare if they make it public. Keeping the public in the dark regarding intelligence matters is the norm rather than the exception. No one said war is going to happen tomorrow.

This open discussion of the premise could very well be the administration slow walking the release of this information so as not to cause an over-reaction in the population, giving everyone time to absorb the possibility of such a reality piece by piece in a controlled way. You will notice this is also how the reality of the outbreak itself was handled as to not create mass panic over night, and create more disruptions and unrest.

The problem with your premise is that you assume that the CCP wouldn't murder millions of it's own people if it served the goals of the CCP. Additionally, bio-warfare is not just about maximum casualties. There are many types of weapons with varying levels of lethality for a reason, because each serve a specific purpose and use case in order to deliver a specific end result. The goal may not have been maximum casualty rate, but maximum infection rates and global spread. Ever hear of sappers? How about the Vietcong strategy of wounding rather than killing soldiers during the Vietnam war? The resources required to treat the ill and wounded are much greater than dealing with the dead, meaning less resources available to fight.

This could serve to disrupt the world economies, drawing out the amount of time other countries are dependent on China, and making rebuilding domestic infrastructure to decouple from China take much longer to acheive. That certainly has been one result of this outbreak. Additionally it gave the CCP a great excuse to effectively end all mass protests in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and elsewhere, along with an excuse to round up massive amounts of people for "quarantine", as well as a pretense for them disappearing off of the face of the Earth without a trace. There were many other results of this outbreak that the CCP benefited from as well. You go ahead and pretend this is outrageous, but the facts of the matter suggest significant motive for the CCP to take such actions. They certainly also had the means and opportunity to do so.

No i won't do anything to physically harm him even though i made plans to.
Massachusetts Civil law allows lawsuits up to 7 years after you can connect the crime to known harm or injury.  2016 was when i was diagnosed with P.T.S.D. due to sexual abuse so this is a possibility.
None. Just my word against his since my friend is dead.

I would advise you stop making statements like "though I made plans to". I am not saying you are wrong to have these feelings, but if you want to hold him accountable, public statements like this might make that hard. I suggest you contact a lawyer, and discuss your options. There may be tangential ways to do this.

So i sue him and win some money.....It wouldn't erase the deep embedded pain and trauma that he has inflicted. No this is not about money.

Literally nothing you do can erase what was done. Money is just one aspect of this. First of all, proving he did this in court will mean he lives the rest of his life shunned and in shame. As an older person he probably depends heavily on others. It would be hard to find that kind of help, even from family after that. Second, even if you don't care about the money, it still takes money out of his pocket, making his life that much harder. You can always donate it if you win anyways. You could use it to help fund the counseling program you participate in. That would objectively be helpful to some one.
