Lol what a dirtbag. Doxing then claiming he tested positive for COVID-19 to elicit sympathy. He must be following Vod's posts.

Also there is another very simple explanation of all of this. You are wrong.

Looks like we have a troll ladies and gentlemen. Shutting down sales of my precious metals at spot while this type of behavior is allowed to stand on my sales threads. My apologies to those who wanted to take advantage of my generous offer, but nobody has time for this childish nonsense.

I would suggest re-opening the thread as self moderated. That is one of the primary purposes of having the ability. I know it is not ideal, but it at least offers an opportunity for a managed thread.
1165  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Naster replying to these shameless accusations on: March 17, 2020, 07:16:19 PM
@nutildah :  Seems you had already your idea about me from beginning, so I won't comment more.

@TECSHARE : if buying BTC with my PAYPAL funds
Quote
constitutes evidence of criminal activity
then the US gov or whatever country should start closing sites like localbitcoins, paxful or whatever or even this forum. It seems you had nothing to say but you felt you need to say something.
I was curious to have a look at your profile and your Trust rating. Your profile shows that you are engaged in
well numerous of trades. So you trade also?? lol
So this is what the most respected members on this forum are saying about you?

Anyway, we STOP here please.

LOL @ most respected. You aren't as smart as you think you are. I have been around here a long time, I recognize shady shit when I see it, and you are well into that territory. Trading isn't the problem, you are clearly not using Paypal within its terms of service at the very least, and more than likely you are engaged in some sort of charge back fraud. Neither one of the parties in this dispute seem to have any credibility, and all that is happening is you are both exposing yourselves.
1166  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Quarantines Are Coming, What to Stock Up on Now Before It’s Too Late on: March 17, 2020, 06:59:28 PM
Here, the government has stated that the supply chains will continue working, at least at a national level and will not shut down. It is also illegal to massively pump up the prices of basic and needed items for humans.

Well that is great news then! Everyone knows the government never lies, is never incompetent, and doesn't ever fall short of its promises!
1167  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Quarantines Are Coming, What to Stock Up on Now Before It’s Too Late on: March 17, 2020, 05:36:56 PM
The standard procedure states that you are allowed to buy food, go to hospitals or even work when in quarantine like the current one. Unless your government goes nuts and tries to become a dictatorship, you will be fine.

What good does being "allowed" to buy food do you if there is none to buy because the supply chain shut down, or because it is prohibitively expensive?
1168  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: March 17, 2020, 05:32:29 PM
Well of course if everyone gets infected deaths would be high, but what makes you think everyone is going to get infected? How do you know this is going to infect 80-90% of people? And the economy will collapse if everyone is told to stay in doors for however long never-mind the hospitals. How long are we meant to self-isolate for? I don't think staying indoors for a few months is going to cut it and even that would be disastrous. If it's as extreme as you say then why isn't there a full on lock-down for everyone already? Telling people to just not go to the cinema or sporting events isn't going to do anything if everyone is still going to work etc. How often are we going to have to self-isolate for before the coast is clear? Is this going to happen everytime a new form of SARS appears?

People keep explaining to you why this needs to be done but you aren't listening. It isn't long term going to stop infections from spreading to nearly everyone, but it WILL SLOW IT. This gives the medical system and the supply chains critically needed time do adjust and absorb the overwhelming demand, and hopefully prevent a total breakdown of the global healthcare system.

The issue is not that this disease is just so fatally dangerous, but that is is just dangerous enough, and mostly debilitating with many requiring long hospital stays to treat. This disease has a unique combination of long viability on surfaces, being airborne, long incubation periods, passive carriers, and high rates of infection that is basically like a checklist of all the things you would put into a disease you intend to cause a pandemic.

Again, the rate of fatality alone is not the major threat, the number of people debilitated and requiring hospitalization all at once all over the globe is the real threat. Quarantines slow that infection curve down, and hopefully gives the system time to adjust and compensate for this huge wave of hospitalizations that is about to happen all over the world.
1169  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Toilet paper hoarding on: March 17, 2020, 01:29:40 PM
Because people are idiots and think some sort of zombie apocalypse is coming where you won't even be able to leave your house. Like, can people really not live without toilet paper? It's not essential. If you had to you could just use an old pair or underwear and rewash it. A lot of people use re-usable/washable nappies for their kids so it's not a big deal. This whole coronavirus thing is just turning me into a bigger misanthrope. It's going to do more damage to the economy than it does to people.

People panicking irrationally is not an exclusive concept to this also being a real threat. You have people panic buying on one hand causing shortages, and on the other there are people with normalcy bias doing nothing and exacerbating the spread creating an inverse self fulfilling prophesy. The hoarding toilet paper is irrational. Not being able to leave your house is also known as quarantine, and is absolutely going to happen all over the globe.

Look at what is happening in Italy. That is going to be the USA by the end of the month. They SHOULD AND HAVE TO do this in order to lessen the pace of the spread, because at this pace the medical system will be totally overwhelmed beyond capacity. It will in fact harm the economy, but it is also going to harm people, especially if emergency services break down, which they very well might. It is easy to write this off now when we aren't even in the first wave yet. Come back here in a month and tell me how wrong I am.
1170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: March 17, 2020, 06:21:04 AM
Or is it just a virus like dozens of others? Not everything has to be a conspiracy

Yep, just your run of the mill every day standard global pandemic with world changing consequences. Happens all the time.

Dozens? I think there might be a few more than that.

1171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Quarantines Are Coming, What to Stock Up on Now Before It’s Too Late on: March 17, 2020, 04:24:04 AM
It's not an assumption, we are under quarantine here in Spain and everyone has access to food. You can go to work as well.

And the past guarantees the future does it?

During a subsequent discussion, we decided that I would dig over a plot on her land, and we would create a prepper's vegetable garden for both of us. That's great news as long as I can keep the animals off the veg. She loves her wild animals, and the woodland is largely untouched, so there is a wide variety of families living there. I might have to ask you guys for some help and advice about this.

If you make a separate thread about this I would be happy to contribute.
1173  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] China Virus Source on: March 16, 2020, 09:42:08 PM
...Of course it does to you simply because it doesn't parrot the absurd stories floated by the U.S. propagandists?

If the science backs up the Chinese side of the story better than the U.S. side, I'm going to prefer the Chinese side for a better factual representation of reality in this case.  It doesn't help that the U.S. is not providing any science at all and in fact is censoring scientists and making them run everything through Mike Pence's hands before anyone else can see the results of their work.

I've no love lost for the current government of China.  If this is a flat out full frontal biological attack by the U.S. aimed at sinking the CCP and causing a revolution in China, that is (in my opinion) at least a glass half full for the Chinese people.  With the social credit score and absurd levels of tracking and what-not it is probably now or never to get rid of the CCP and try to live like something other than caged animals.

Do you honestly think this is helping or hurting the CCP? Lets go down a list of all the things it does in their favor...

-Excuse to round up dissidents for "quarantine" never to be seen again
-Excuse to lock everything down and take even more control
-Excuse to lock down the global supply chain and delay the world from becoming independent of China
-Effectively ends all legal dissent
-Depopulation of dependents and an increasingly rebellious population they are losing control of
-Provides a good scapegoat for the failing economy
-Provides good fodder for spreading stories it was a Western attack to incite hatred & nationalism
-Provides a "controlled" environment to practice their bio-warfare defensive and offensive abilities

The CCP was already sinking. This looks more like a MAAD economic/biological weapon to me than something designed to strip power from the CCP. Totalitarians thrive in disasters because it gives them an excuse to take more control, especially when they are already on their way out. Cornered animals get desperate, and gangster governments stop functioning when the money stops flowing, which was already well under way. This outbreak solves a lot of problems for them.
1174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: March 16, 2020, 09:14:54 PM
There have been incubation times of up to 24 days reported.
1175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Quarantines Are Coming, What to Stock Up on Now Before It’s Too Late on: March 16, 2020, 09:13:58 PM
Quarantine doesn't mean you don't have access to food mate. You don't need to buy a ton of crap now for no reason.

That is a bold assumption.
1176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: March 16, 2020, 09:11:59 PM
C'mon! Nobody would use a bioweapon that infects the whole planet. That's like actually using nuclear weapons, which makes absolutely no sense.

Yeah because humans have never purposely depopulated or perpetrated genocide on tens or hundreds of millions of people before right? You also assume their goal isn't to cause total economic breakdown. There are a lot of people getting FILTHY rich off of this crisis, let alone the amount of control this is giving governments all over the world an excuse to take. The CCP LOVES this outbreak. Now they have an excuse to lock down the whole nation, stop any dissidents, and round them up for "quarantine" never to be seen again.

I have a high level of confidence that this is a bioweapon

At 3-4% fatality rate?  Must be US made.  Smiley

You assume the goal is to have maximum fatalities. What if the goal is to cause economic chaos to profit from it and give governments excuses to systematically strip rights? This outbreak seems to be achieving those objectives pretty efficiently.

Also, you ever hear of the military strategy of using sappers before? What causes more harm? Killing a soldier, or wounding them so they take up several times more resources to care for? Stop getting your concept of what bio-weapons are from movies.

I have a high level of confidence that this is a bioweapon, and will lead to open war. Even if it isn't, it looks like it, and that might be enough to ignite tensions.
1178  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Naster is scam selling dirty paypal fund on: March 16, 2020, 04:44:12 PM
Both of these guys are shady as fuck. IMO this is a waste of time to try to moderate. Just two shady fucks taking turns trying to buttfuck each other and crying about it. BTW, I hope neither of you live in the USA, because I am pretty sure a lot of what was published here constitutes evidence of criminal activity in the US as well as several other nations.
1179  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Poloniex steal money! on: March 16, 2020, 04:33:49 PM
Put them on blast on social media. This hurts their bottom line. They wanna fuck with your money, fuck with theirs by scaring off their user base. I have seen this method be effective more than a few times. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
1180  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scammed] Need some suggestions. on: March 16, 2020, 04:31:06 PM
The best remedy in situations like this is to just put them on blast all over social media. They are clearly trying to raise their profile to run a long con, so out them. Go to Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, etc and blast the keywords of the project and the username all over for being a fraud. This way when people go to research the project they find your theft of services complaints. Just to rub some salt in the wound maybe make some pretty graphics for your accusations to get extra attention.
