901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losses in trading are nothing but Business expenses on: January 06, 2022, 06:40:43 PM
Yes losing in trading is business expenses but someone who has put all the money in trading and unfortunately the price goes down then he will surely drop all of his  capital. So it can be make him disappoint and due to this reason perhapes he stop  this activity. Therefore for some people it is not just business expenses but it is hope of gaining profit as there is no other source to gain money.

Actually, even the most skillful and experienced trader isn't exempted about it, up until now they're still lose if they can't predict it very well and with just a small margin of errors may lead to losses not just profits but capitals as well. Losing is always a part of the expenses and there's nothing we can do about it but the important thing is you have learned and gained another experience.
It's very unfortunate to hear some stories that have failed in trading and lost due to greed, I mean they know that it's a gamble to take but they still did it because of the tempting profits if ever if it succeed but sadly it didn't. It's never a good idea to put all your capital after all, because chances are it'll lead to disappointments.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 06, 2022, 04:41:33 PM
The Dallas Mavericks - Golden State Warriors game didn't end in the way I imagined. I was expecting a high-scoring game and a very close win by Mavericks. They still won but the result was 99-82. But it was still great to see Doncic continuing to improve his performance by this game. He got 26 pts, 7 reb and 8 ast. Curry had another terrible game with 14 pts. He got only 5 field goal made out of 24 shot attempts. And they performed really poorly as a team too.
Curry wasn't playing his MVP level in the last 2 games, not sure if he is 100% healthy or he is having a minor injury that hinders him in playing his full potential. It was a great game as Luka once again proved that he deserve to be part of the MVP conversation, and yes, let's hope we will see the Mavs to be consistent in winning again.
Sometimes even the best player in the NBA also experience some struggle, that is normal but what is important is that the Warriors are healthy now and they are still the number 1 team in the NBA. We cannot underestimate the Dallas Mavericks also, they have Luka and they have a good system as well, but if they will play in best of 7 game series, I'm sure the Warriors would win.

The Mavericks sure have some tricks and answers to every opponent they have even if it's a much more stronger team than them, so we can't really underestimate this team because they are on the 5th spot in the West for a reason. Right now they are on their 4th win streak and it could be their 5th as the Rockets will be their next opponent, not a tough team this season. But as for the GSW, maybe they're just tired from their game against the Heats the other day. We can really see it on how Curry, Green and Poole played today, it's just not their day and GSW will always bounce back from their defeats.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 06, 2022, 01:16:35 PM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that it’s the start of the bearish market. Should we sell all crypto now?

If you sell all your crypto assets now, then what's the use of hodling it anyway in the first place if you'll eventually sell it and give up when the market dips or bearish. The steep declination of market is quite normal now as we've already experienced it almost every year.
The market's sudden declination will really give some people a mindset to sell before they lost it all, panic selling can be seen nowadays and this will continue if the market stays this way. We can't really blame them because it's their money and their loss, but surely they have a weak mindset.
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump Says Crypto Is 'Very Dangerous' ... but ... on: January 06, 2022, 12:44:05 PM

Quote
“The dollar is going to get stronger and stronger, and ultimately I want to see a strong dollar,” Trump said in an exclusive interview from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “Our country is becoming so economically strong again and strong in other ways, too.”
Trump’s latest remarks about the dollar diverge from his past comments. Last April, Trump said he was worried the dollar was “getting too strong.” Trump tells CNBC.
Source: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/25/trump-says-dollar-to-get-stronger-and-stronger.html

I remember when this man bought an entire airline for a staggering $365 Million on late 1890s and 18 months after, it went down and declared bankruptcy. And ever since former US President, Donald Trump have been always vocal about his love about the money (meanly dollar) ever since he's young and a teenager up until he became a president. He literally spent his entire life making money, trying every sort of businesses and investments until he became what he is now.
I'm quite sure he knew that NFTs are on the cypto blockchain as he's a pure businessman. It's that he can't prevent his wife Melania to be an anti cypto like him so now, he can only say that Melania is going to do great. Lol Grin
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 05, 2022, 05:58:52 PM
Despite being a champion, he shouldn't still be too confident because Magsayo is preparing hard for this fight. 2 years is a long time rest for Russell so it might be the edge of Magsayo who has been continuously doing matches for years. The result is honestly quite unpredictable but I'm sure that this will be an exciting fight.

Still even if he is a champion or even he is known as undisputed fighter he still needed to prepare for his upcoming fights and not be overconfident on what kind of opponent he is going to fight with. It is better to be prepared than being overconfident if Magsayo is really looking to win this fight. Which in fact, Garry Russell is not also a small fighter that he need to be confident, I believe this fight will be a difficult fight for both fighters but I am also rooting to Mark Magsayo to win this fight.

It's okay to be confident but never underestimate an opponent whether you are a champion or not. It's necessary to ensure that proper training is done since this is a championship fight, and the loser here will lose the chance to have bigger fights in the future. For Magsayo as a challenger, he should give everything he has for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Let's just give Russell the benefit of the doubt as we don't really know what does he thinks to this fight. Though I'm not a big Gary Russell fan but I could say that he's not underestimating anything about Magsayo's skills and capability but surely he knew that his inactivity is really a disadvantage because practicing and training consistently is so different when you're actively fighting an opponent professionally. Both fighters have something to prove, like for Russell that he's capable and worth to be called the undisputed champion despite his inactivity and as for Magsayo, this fight will be his stepping stone towards success and to have more fights in the future if ever Magsayo could defeat Russell. But that is a question for now because I have no doubt that this fight is going to be a close one and tough, so there's no guarantee who'll be declared as a winner.
906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why newbies lose huge money in trading on: January 05, 2022, 05:30:05 PM
Novice trading time is short, long trading time can bring experience, summing up failures, and constantly trying is my way to reduce losses.
It is not uncommon for newcomers to experience huge losses in trading without a good knowledge of trading. In addition, it is normal for newcomers to experience losses in order to treat their emotions emotionally. For newcomers, you guys will come to treat after gaining knowledge from different sources.
Learning how to trade isn't that easy, it takes so much time and logical mindset before you eventually come to a point that you're already knowledgeable enough than what you used to be few months ago. Also to be a trader, one must know about the basics and fundamentals of how to trade and techniques used before advancing to another level of trading. Therefore, trading isn't a skill that is very easy to acquire as it includes some losses to your capital along the path you took to gain experience.
Even professionals and experienced traders lose their funds while trading, so what makes a novice as an exemption to it.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: January 05, 2022, 05:00:48 PM
with the frequent use of the binance network as a transaction, moreover, many new projects using it clearly greatly affect the movement of BNB. so that BNB is very active in trading and will be able to continue to increase, it is likely that next year BNB will shine even more than this year which has also been a surprise.
so it's true that BNB is very good as a very promising investment, but ethereum is still the best and is still very worthy of being a promising investment to date.
Ethereum and BNB are both in a very good position and are also very commonly chosen for investment by everyone who knows them well, but at times of correction they also often decline simultaneously and neither of the two holds up a good price although the recovery can be very fast, so if you like to choose both for investment, then instill patience in yourself too.

Patience when holding certain coin is always there given that the market is still not doing well and its volatility will really test your patience. So far, both coins are still profitable and promising in the altcoins category, not just ethereum and BNB but Cardano and Solana as well are really performing well in the past few months just like the first 2 altcoins stated. So, including SOL and ADA to your portfolio will be much more profitable for you in the future when the market starts to recover again.
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc ath february 2022 on: January 05, 2022, 03:34:56 PM
One thing is for sure when it comes down to finances and money investment then wall street is what is most important.
And im not educated but i have connections and experinces that average JOE can only dream about.
As my social circle is wall street guys i know the info.
And wall street told me btc will be ath  100,000$ next year february.
You guys not been good but its a christmas i make little gift to you as you will know when its a bull run now.

Three days this month has passed, but Bitcoin does not move far, even still stagnant from the previous price, I have no doubt about the prediction of Bitcoin prices at a price of 100,000 $, but according to my understanding this year will it difficult to achieve at that price, considering Bitcoin's previous year Corrected many times, but anything could happen in Crypto, but I think it's difficult for this year, hopefully it's really predicted to be up to the price mentioned.

To be honest, let's move on this 2022, $100k will not be achieved, S2F model has been busted already. So even if some Wall Street guy predicts that we will have a new ATH this February, I will take everything with a grain of salt. We are in a period of correction, or better called bear market this year. Maybe we can see some occasional rally, but I don't so it, getting into 6 digits because of the current sentiments of investors.

Its not good to take this discussion out since we don't know what will happen at the end quarter of the year so maybe we should let people speculate since its healthy to talk about the future price of bitcoin although its quite unrealistic to see those figures to reached up but chances still there since we are just starting up this year and many will happen for sure this year.

C'mon folks, as if this is not the 1st time that we see or hear that a certain crypto expert or even a wall street guy speculates impossible digits for that certain month or year. So, even it isn't very realistic, let's just understand and respect their speculations because even we ourselves do have some prediction for this year. Let's just hope that their will be more positive events this year for the whole cryptocurrency especially bitcoin like new ath's to be achieve even before the halving in 2024.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 05, 2022, 03:22:10 PM
I think that Miami Heat is still doing a great job in the absence of some of their important players. They have many missing players due to covid-19 and injuries. But they still put up a very good fight against Golden State Warriors last night. Maybe they lost to Warriors by 115-108 but it was really close. And in this one, Curry wasn't the one who carried the team to this win. This time, Jordan Poole and Wiggins had this role. Especially Poole really impressed me by his performance of 32 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists.

There's no doubt that the Heat is still tough even they lack players and they really put a great fight against GSW, especially Herro who's been the biggest contributor other than Butler and was their since 1st to 4th quarter to help the team. But those scores isn't what it is if Curry was activley in command of the team and playing like his average PPG plays. As we can see, GSW had just let their bench players to get the spotlights like Poole and Wiggins to attain more experience and be ready when the playoff eventually starts.
910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Only invest an amount you can afford to lose" on: January 04, 2022, 05:40:26 PM
This thread i considered it as a motivational thread for any beginner for cryptocurrency trading, because op is right enough, i reason go back when for investment, what of you invest all the money you have and finally you lose all, the next thing that is close to the person that time is death, the way am seeing it, somebody suppose to invest and reserve

Everyone know this that they should only invest that money which they can afford to lose but in practiice only few people follow this practice.
People want to invest more money because they think that if they invest more they could make more profits. They forget the probability of the loss which can happen too.

That right there my friend is PURE GREED, because why would someone invest all the money he/she have just because of the shiny term called profits. Folks let's not forget that every investment we make is also a gamble we take because it's not guaranteed that it will go exactly how we envisioned it as every investment has its risks, and if there's no risk then it's not business after all.
While the advice "ONLY INVEST ON WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE" may seem so common but in todays world, that advice alone isn't enough as the OP said that money is printed like a toilet papers already so I recommend to invest as much as possible but don't exceed to your limitations and be knowledgeable enough to avoid losses along the road.
911  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: January 04, 2022, 05:28:38 PM
That's right, even though I'm new to bitcoin, but I'll try my best if I can also enter trading just to make money and this year in the new year I also need to focus on it so I can know how to make money with crypto and how to invest and more.  all how to enter trading we just have to endure newbies must learn everything soon.

Only be very careful with that and when researching don't trust those "experts" too much. No one can tell you exactly in what direction the price is going. What you can do is to read several different predictions on reliable sites and then find the arithmetic mean, and bet on that number. But not too much, only what you can afford to lose. Don't try to make trading your main source of income, just have fun with it. Smiley
In crypto it is not easy to predict coin price movements and it requires more in-depth research for sure but clearly nothing guarantees that the prediction will be accurate,
Regarding trading, I think it comes back to each person's choice and what must be realized is that trading is a big risk

Trading can be much more beneficial rather than just holding it for a year, I mean, there's certainly nothing wrong with hodling it as it is the most basic and proven way to make profits but if you want more than just hodling it and wait then trading can be way more interesting and beneficial if you have some extra time to spare like weekly but aside from that, it really requires capital and ofcourse knowledge about it.
And just like holding, only trade funds what you can afford to lose as it's the right way to avoid being too drowned.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: January 04, 2022, 04:34:41 PM
I think it depends on the coin itself. If in the future prospects are very good and have potential, there is no harm in you holding coins in the long term. Especially if you buy it when the price of the coin is at the lowest price. We can learn the history of the coin, but holding long-term is very much in need of patience.

The thing called waiting is difficult and requires a lot of patience, especially when it comes to money and we also know that all businesses have their own risks but depending on what we choose, it is the same as the altcoins we hold if the coin always experiences price developments in the market every year  , so there is no harm in holding it for example BNB, LTC, ETH coins are old coins whose prices change every year, so we can study them and see the price movements of these coins.
That's why we exactly need to make ourselves busy for the whole year or depending on your own timetable and plans ofcourse, because if we are just hodling it while waiting at the same time without any main business or jobs then it's not very easy to hold as your patience is always testing you since you have nothing to do.
There are already lots of potential altcoins and there are also others that's already proven to give you profits as long as your dedicated and know to manage your funds.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 04, 2022, 07:39:54 AM
Looks like Kyrie will be back on the floor for the Nets against the Pacers on Wednesday for his season debut. It will be interesting to see if he fits in right away or if there’s a struggle with him running the offense. Given how the rule changes effected James Harden this year, Kyrie is most assuredly a welcomed addition to the team.
Him and Klay are the top 2 most awaited players to play again this season but I'm still waiting for Klay's return Cheesy.

He is in conditioning phase right now and for the first time since the season started, he will play on the 5th of January. For sure many fans are excited about how much impact and changes can he give with the team. Will his return be beneficial or it is the other way around. Will he help Durant and Harden or its the opposite. They need a comeback after a homecourt loss to Memphis Grizzlies and they will do it with Kyrie.

The Brooklyn Nets is now on it's 3rd consecutive loss with a 14 points difference (104-118), Morant and Bane have dominated the game from the start until the end of 4th quarter leaving Durant and Harden helpless to recover. So, Irving's return is really a big help and will be beneficial to the team to recover their loss as their big 3 have it's own individual strengths. If the Big 3 is complete, we we'll see how would they react against their opponents. Chemistry isn't going to be a problem on this team.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin new year on: January 04, 2022, 06:35:35 AM
I am expecting that more countries will follow El Salvador this year, for sure not only 1 country. Especially when they will start to appreciate the good things of it from El Salvador.
But we should also be ready for the negative things that could happen this year like Bitcoin could possibly visit below $40,000 or worst below $30,000 but I am on always the positive side.
Another thing is the bitcoin block halving that will happen in 2024, we are still far but as the year changed from 2021 to 2022, it is getting near to the block halving.
Also, maybe Singapore, Malta, Gibraltar and Dubai are going to be a successfully established cryptocurrency hub this year. And yes, there will other countries as well that will follow El Salvador's footstep and it will just be a matter of time. Let's just think for the positive to happen this year like another ath will happen but as @GreatArkansas said, we should be also ready for the negative things that could eventually happen along the way.
About bitcoin halving in 2024, we should really hodl our funds as bitcoin will becoome more scarce and it will increase again in about 2 years from now.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can BNB rise to950? on: January 03, 2022, 05:02:49 PM
Can BNB rise to 950?

$950 is really small for BNB and it isn't really so hard to achieve, actually it's been expected to reach for over $1k or $2k at the end of 2022. BNB is really promising and also an excellent choice to invest because it can really give you nice competitive returns in the future and with the help of development teams new projects like burning some tokens is really going to be a big help for BNB to achieve new ATH somewhere this year. Experts are forecasting that BNB will likely to overtake Ethereum before 2025.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 03, 2022, 03:07:20 PM
Miami Heat lost at the last position to Sacramento Kings, while missing 11 players. They fought hard considering that much of a missing players and the rookie Omer Yurtseven had a big night with 22 points 16 rebounds including 6 offensive reb. But Sacramento held on at the last minute. Thus, Miami is 23-14, .622. I really wonder where will they be in the playoffs and how far can they go.
There's still plenty of time, the Miami Heat will eventually find a way to win and to stay in the playoffs spot. For sure they will not allow to miss the playoffs and with the ongoing health protocol impose in all teams I guess, they are not the only ones who are affect, other teams as well, so just relax, they'll bonce back for sure.

I mean the Heat has still a decent record isn't it? So there's no need for concern right now for sure every team in the NBA is suffering for the health and safety protocol that's why we seldom see a team really in 100% capacity. And I agree that this is just one lost, and for sure they have a lot of time to bounce back again and be in the playoffs this season with Butler still the leader of this team.
No team has been excused for the health and safety protocol, it's just a normal news this season. The Heat was having a 5 consecutive wins if I remember it correctly before they've been defeated against the Kings, and surely the Heat does really have a decent record and placed 4th in the Eastern Conference with a sure seat in the playoffs this season. Their recent match against the Kings was just a 2 points difference and it's not a very bad loss after all. Their next game is against the GSW, let's see how will they manage it given that they have a lot of missing players.
917  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: January 03, 2022, 12:55:55 PM
-snip-
You must remind that everyone can predict the next phase in crypto market, but no one can guarantee it. So, you don't be confused with their prediction. Just focus on your own target, if it seems enough, just takes the profits. Even in theory crypto still has a chance to increase significantly again, but it may not happen as expected. Too risky if you rely on the next pump to take profits, I suggest you not be influenced by sweet predictions.

I think what you are saying is very relevant to what is happening today. everyone can easily predict it. but it is very difficult for people to think or control their passions. People are so easily swayed by sweet predictions that they don't do it unless they lose their money. Hopefully not tempted by big profits, take a little profit but sure.
That's exactly why you have to trust your own instincts because your plan and their plan is different on how you envisioned your target. I mean, it's okay to have a 2nd opinion on other's perspective but that doesn't mean that you have to rely on theirs and not yours So, if you if you feel that it's time to harvest some gains now then do it now because we don't really what would really happen soon. It's very easy to speculate but it's not guaranteed to happen exactly what we've envisioned along the road, so it's might as well and much better to have some plan B as we don't know the market's next move. Just trust your decisions because that's exactly the reason why you planned in the first place.

P2E games are very popular and very in-demand now, that's why we are seeing lots of P2E games being launched almost every month. Lots of people now are already into it just like they are living in a fantasy, and now it became a reality that earning and getting paid while playing games with no age bracket as long as you just want to play and have fun.
I created some lists of the top Play2Earn games based in NFT of 2021 aside from the very famous Axie Infinity and here's what I found:

1.  Mines of Dalarania
2.  My Neighbor Alice
3.  Mobox
4.  Illuvium
5.  The Sandbox
6.  Aliens World

920  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: January 03, 2022, 09:43:10 AM
Before thinking of investing in any sector what one considers is how long you are willing to hold. Let's take the history down to how investment all began. Moving from the era of Real estate to stocks to metals to oil blocks and now digital assets we would agree those who made it big in all this investment options were those who had the patience to hold.

This kept me wondering why one would even think of investing if they don't have the patient to hold. If you can't develop the hold attitude then the best option is to do a physical business where you can monitor your profit and see them come in regularly. If it must be crypto then you must be willing to hold and wait
It really depends on which sector you're investing because not all investments are for holding for a long time like buying a stocks in any give industry or company, and all of the investments you make surely really needs some time and planning before considering to invest. But if it's digital assets like bitcoin then it really needs patience to while hodling it for like 2-3 years and checking the market price on daily basis will be really irrelevant because as said your going to hold these assets for years.
Also, before investing, you're first needed to have a main source of income like one or two businesses that pays every month or weekly to be able to afford and buy the daily needs of your family.
