942  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 24, 2023, 12:36:47 AM
True!! Wala na yung pressure ng quota before na need talaga maubos energy each day para ma maximize yung kita. Focus nalang talaga ngayon in enjoying and ranking up para makasali sa leaderboards. Enjoy enjoyin nalang nating yung axie infinity game ngayon na walang pressure at stress free even mag consecutive critical yung axie ng kalaban atleast wala tayong talo. Wala na di sense yunt energy before since di namana nag kakarewards. Pure enjoyment nalang at somehow some competiteveness if aakyat ka talaga sa leaderboards.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Really Burn helps Token in positive way? on: August 23, 2023, 11:54:32 PM
Burning of a token is very important especially when for tokens that are using the staking mechanism. Many projects are always burning there tokens so that it will have more value in the market. Apart from that, we all want to make money from the market with good profits. The burning mechanism is based on the team and how frequently the burn there token to make it have more resistance against the bear and shoot higher more.
As much as it's important, there are times that it didn't do anything to some of those projects that have done it. Well, that's for those projects that have little market capitalization and liquidity. Even if they will burn their tokens for as much as they can if there is no demand, the value of their token remains the same or might even go lower. That's why doing it frequently is like a promo for them to inform everyone that they're doing it to the token so it's going to be interesting. It's helpful but not to all that does it.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 23, 2023, 07:30:12 PM
I guess it depends.

If you're discipline enough, I believe being short when it comes to money is preventable, because you have extras on your bank or maybe in your vault.
Those that have other funds that can be used in times of need really can survive those hard times and they can skip the temptation of selling the bitcoins that they're holding.

That's why it's important to have more source of income to avoid selling your bitcoin in a price that you're going to regret it.
I agree.
But not everyone can be in that position based on the situation that we're dealing with. We can be at the shoes of being prepared when those times comes but not everyone can be.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: Which problem will you choose to solve? on: August 23, 2023, 06:51:04 PM
The rich have become rich because most of them are problem solvers. While being rich, the next level of having problems is likely about the management of their wealth which is easy IMHO.
While the poor, there are tons of problems that people are dealing with every day. It looks easy but it's not when the ratio of rich and poor isn't par at all.
We admit it or not, there are poorer than rich people, and problems that are being dealt with by most of them can't be tackled easily. Putting this on a serious note, I've been there and still trying to survive. Before helping the poor, I want to help myself first.

That is what social entrepreneurs do, they look for a particular problem and invest a lot of ideas in it, take Elon, for instance, coming up with Tesla an electric car to not only help in reducing cars that use fuel but also to reduce emissions very smart move, just charge and drive, that is the logic I see rich people do they search for a problem and the solving the problem comes with a lot of money, there are still a lot of problems out there that needs a solution, look at the cell phone today it has reduced sending of letters and has made communication easy, we are benefiting from peoples solving a problem, surviving these days is not easy, but we just have to keep supporting one another.
That's true and they keep on coming. But those that are already on the top of the chain, they've got more opportunities and easier now to introduce any product or invention they create and that's how it's easy for them to solve more problems. While we don't like Elon pertaining to the crypto related matters but, can't deny that he's done a lot not just for his employees but also for the world. I just hope that he's really caring for it and profit is just the 2nd matter.
946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copytrading with Binance Leaderboard traders on: August 23, 2023, 06:04:42 PM
That is why we don't guarantee any profit, it's up to the trader you choose either to provide profit or loss.

But they're on Binance's official list and their past performance is public and guaranteed by Binance, that's way more reliable than a random signal group.
I like what you've said that you don't guarantee profit because it's still based on the trader that the user will copy.
And upon looking at those top weekly rankings on trading in Binance's futures. I wonder why most of them don't have many followers, I mean some have hundreds and two digits, while on perpetual rankings the rest don't even have.

@blockman - Lol, mate, just a couple of hundreds of dollars nothing big  Grin hehehhe.
Haha! Mate, you're just humble.  Tongue

I guess everyone has been setup already including this news,

MANILA, Philippines — President Marcos has suspended government work and public school classes in Metro Manila and Bulacan on Aug. 25 to support efforts aimed at ensuring the successful opening of this year’s FIBA Basketball World Cup.

That's better so that the traffic won't be that much for everyone who's going to watch and support the live games. It's gonna be a traffic jam if it wasn't declared as a holiday for that day and it's gonna be another long weekend for us.

Yeah, I think getting his autograph will be allowed. Grin A very rare opportunity and I might take advantage of those chances to see most of the USA team as possible because once they are on court we may not be able to see them as close as we can unless we pay the expensive tickets.
That will be certainly worth it when you get one but like me whenever I see celebrities or athletes like them, I'm in awe and probably just forgot to do that as I stare at them. Anyone who's going to watch and pay for the tickets to watch Team USA? Gilas' tickets are affordable at least for the gen ad.  Cheesy
948  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is greeting important in your culture? on: August 23, 2023, 04:50:46 PM
IMO everywhere greeting is important. Whether you've got an affair or you've got friends or even at work. But let's stick to the greetings with your parents of your partner. It's true that it's a gesture of respect and a sign that you're comfortable with them or even not, you're trying to get along with them. But the generation is changing and there could be some couples that treats this as nothing like there are no more greetings but that doesn't mean you're disrespectful to them, but because you're comfortable already with them so you don't greet them anymore.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 23, 2023, 04:14:39 PM
This topic is really making me laugh, because I don't know how some persons take expensive risks, borrowing or taking a loan because you want to gamble is a big risk
That only shows the wide variety of people in the world and that's how they're going to take gambling seriously when they don't have anything left. Aside from borrowing money for them to gamble, you'll see some crazy news or headlines that someone has sold almost everything that he can so that he can go back to gamble again. The risk is known in gambling and that's not a surprise to them because they knew it all the time but still continues because of the emotional setback that it does.

I can't take or advice anyone close to me to take because the heart trauma that comes when the game you staked on is lost is something very hard to accept.
It's common that someone can't accept defeat but those that have been gambling for a very long time have been dealing with it. But the variance of feeling is still there so, many ends up chasing their losses.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 23, 2023, 03:14:57 PM
In our country, they were legal like 2-3 years ago but then the government finally decided to stop and make them illegal because of the series of kidnappings due to this type of game. Despite that, there have been a lot of new websites/apps that have come out but they don't have a license to operate so that means they're illegally operating and they will be held behind bars if they get caught. That's possible that in some other countries, they could also face jail time if one has but it differs from each country. But I am just telling that maybe you should change your game if you wanna gamble.
951  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BTC or ETH? on: August 23, 2023, 02:09:17 PM
952  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 23, 2023, 11:40:03 AM

953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MuskyDoge Mobile Free Play to Earn on: August 22, 2023, 11:49:31 PM
MuskyDoge is running a free play to earn competition.
The name surely is a meme coin and I don't think too many people are still on it. Next, the play to earn saga is already done.

Ads used to fund the prize wallet and buy/burn tokens. Only on mobile app stores. It's a two year old project on the binance smart chain.
The question is, how many users are there and how many ads are being displayed there? And burning tokens, they don't need funding on it unless they need to hype it and broadcast to the world that they're burning tokens with the use of their own money.

Low cap. Check out MuskyDoge.net for more information.
Low cap or likely dead? $0 volume. (https://coinmarketcap.com/dexscan/bsc/0xb8230e16efbeb40d172836acaf81d0a4a45ea6f9/)

954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 22, 2023, 11:23:01 PM
Yes, let's say Team A has a star player while Team B doesn't. The bookies are odd and will definitely be in favor of Team A who's got a star player.
That's why it's important to look at the news before the matches happen for the sports that you're betting on. But don't get blinded by these odds because sometimes they're full of surprises when it comes to the actual matches. It's more of speculations before the games and that's why teams that have star players, don't expect them to show that much of odds.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin Fuels Coinbase with $1M ETH! on: August 22, 2023, 06:42:26 PM
Vitalik is also a human just like us. No matter what the reasons might be, he just wanna dump and take all the money with him. That's why I don't know why this trend is always there that if someone is known or not sends millions worth of crypto to an exchange, it's always in the headlines.

It's his money so he can do whatever he likes. He is certainly an ETH whale, but moving his coins to Coinbase doesn't necessarily mean he's gonna sell them. $1 milly is a good amount though.
Yeah, although I am sure that he's rich enough. He can sell whenever he wants and if he's in need of more money, he can always get from his ETH stack.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 22, 2023, 05:54:46 PM
Just want to let everyone knows that I met Tyron Lue about an hour ago in City of Dreams (casino here in the Philippines).

He was very friendly and he greet almost everyone that knows him (and as we all know of, Philippines is a basketball crazy country, hehehe).

Wasn't able to take pictures though as it is not allowed in this casinos. He was just looking for crap games though and then went to VIP and then goes out,
Wow, didn't you get an autograph? That was a rare encounter and I know how it feels when you feel starstruck by people like him.
So, with their arrival in our country. This is like what they do after the practice and they've been given time to stroll around and do anything that they can as long as it's already out of the team's schedule. As I look at those photos, it seems coach Spo and Steve are happy when they've arrived.

not sure where he went as I was going home already (with just a couple of dollars winning playing roulette,  Grin).
This is the best part of the story, how much is that couple of bucks?  Grin
957  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: August 22, 2023, 04:51:09 PM
Many people think that avoiding taxes is an inappropriate criminal act, but in my opinion the tax that we pay certainly must be proportional, the facts in my country that business tax, income and so on are very burdensome so that many businesses are made to avoid taxes. And in my opinion as long as we have the right reason to avoid taxes, this is certainly not a problem.
The rich have ways to legally avoid taxes, in my country, what they do is they're making their own charities and they donate money to their own charities. This is like a glitch that many are aware of but legally, it's allowed by law. I don't know if these capitalists were able to buy some lawmakers that have made this law in favor of them. While the minimum age earners, there's tax exemption but in goods that we consume, there's vat. In countries where you can see the services being used by people, I don't think someone will flee from tax avoidance.

959  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea's Kim Jong Un dismisses top general, calls for war preparations on: August 22, 2023, 12:16:51 PM
I just hope that it will always be the "call" and will remain as is and there won't be any move at all. While they're practicing missiles near Japan and South Korea, that's really alarming when these top officials are being replaced and switched as its internal affairs have something to do with what they're about to do. I also hope that Kim won't press the button on this one, we don't know how big it will be and we don't wanna really know because we don't want that to happen. Whatever triggers them is probably if their allies try to call for them or if they're asked to join them in their war but for sure with economical, they won't have impact but it's a different talk if it's about collateral damages.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: August 22, 2023, 10:31:56 AM
Privacy is a necessary feature in my opinion, but why hasn't Monero become a main coin?
It's because it's not the firstborn. It used to be Bitcoin that was for privacy and turned into decentralization focused until Monero became the main thing and was followed by other privacy coins. Then, the government has kept chasing Monero and other privacy coins that are listed in different South Korean exchanges and have them targeted to be removed by them. That made fear everyone and started to avoid it but, it's still the main thing in terms of privacy and despite that, we can't control the likes of the people and the fear that it had made for those who just simply like it and have it sold later on turned away from it for their own safety and liquidity.
