941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: May 23, 2023, 05:02:04 AM
Well I think $80k this year is a very 'bullish' prediction that we will not see take place. I hope I am wrong but I do not want to make unrealistic predictions for the price of Bitcoin.
I am ok with how it now with current price. I usually tend not to get upset or scared about the current price because at the end of the day I’m still 'bullish' on Bitcoin. I’ve seen these corrections before and I just look at this one as a bump in the road on the way to a new high in 2024.
This correction may take longer because the world economy is in such shambles but things will turn around eventually. I find it highly unlikely Bitcoin won’t be at new historic all time highs by 2024.
942  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is chat gpt destroying communities? 🙃 on: May 23, 2023, 04:39:27 AM
There is nothing but good thoughts about my personal feelings about ChatGPT. I use it more often than other search engines, as I want to know the use of it. So far, it has given me a thorough answer to any of the questions that I have. If not, it does send me links to research a subject or thought.

So, I do find it rather useful in my day-to-day work. It helps me improve my writing skills and knowing that there is a tool like ChatGPT can really help others. There is a wide variety of knowledge out there in our hands and it is in one source.

I hope this can only be put to good use and there must be an age limit. For something so brand new there will be kinks and bumps on the road. I do certainly not want to see ChatGPT fail. It is a great tool to have for many years to come.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado.Cash Sanctioned by the US on: May 22, 2023, 07:07:14 AM
Well some more bad news for crypto mixer Tornado cash. It was hacked and hacker has made a proposal to undo his attack. The hacker wants the governance and decisions to be made by token holders. But there is some mixed views about this.

944  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is coffee in the morning a habit or an addiction? on: May 22, 2023, 06:53:07 AM
As a coffee lover, drinking coffee in the morning does certainly help me get through the day. I cannot even remember when the last time I did not start my day without coffee. The scent of the coffee beans brewing and just enough creamer makes that day even better.
If I know that I am going to have a busy day, a second cup helps me to end a workday. I do try not to have so many cups a day and I do give myself a caffeine cut off time.
This way it does maintain the number of cups I take as well as knowing that cut off time will help me sleep good night with eight hours of sleep. Coffee is one of my loves and I will forever love drinking coffee.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano (ADA) Sees Immense Price Bump as Ecosystem Grows Exponentially on: May 21, 2023, 04:08:06 AM
'Bullish' news for Cardano. Now there is 400 Million ADA locked into the Cardano Defi ecosystem.  Djed stablecoin has $13.6 Million locked in.

It is close to $150 Million.  https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/542828
946  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] How is your verbal communication? on: May 21, 2023, 03:27:58 AM
I do believe that my verbal communication skills are efficient and clear because I do not have to be repeating myself. Despite that English is not my first language I made sure how to properly pronounce and annunciate when I am at work.
When I was younger, my English was very poor and did not know very many words. I started practicing by watching English soap operas and listening to the radio. By the time I was able to get hired for my first real job, I felt more effective with my communication and confidence because I was able to communicate without any language barrier.
In my current job I must communicate effectively to ensure the job gets done the first time with no mistakes. Certain job assignments require me to constantly be in communication with other people.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: May 20, 2023, 06:53:02 AM
Well it is only getting worse for SBF. Now he is going to be sued by FTX for the $250 Million he earned with the company. But he does not have this money so I am unsure it is ever going to be recovered.

948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: May 20, 2023, 04:05:05 AM
Well I am still 'bullish' on BNB coin. And I think what Binance is doing now with Italian Red Cross is a nice thing, maybe we will see some gains in BNB in next coming days.

I have seen pictures in Italy and it is very sad to see.   https://www.binance.com/en/blog/charity/binance-donates-$100000-to-italian-red-cross-for-flood-relief-5581518894257009085
949  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you have some big fears? on: May 20, 2023, 03:51:51 AM
Spiders scare me too, but mostly i fear big dogs and their bites

To this very day, I am still afraid of big dogs. I was attacked by Pitbull when I was only 6 years old. I was walking back home from school, and I saw that one of our neighbor’s dogs manage to get out of their front yard. I was so nervous and scared that I started running towards my house which still was like four houses down the street.

By the time I was able to get to the third house, I was knocked down by the Pitbull who bit me on my ankle. I started kicking the Pitbull with my other foot to try to let me go. I screamed for help and felt like it was an eternity before my other neighbor came out from the house with a metal pipe and hit the Pitbull in the head to let me go.

When my neighbor saw that the dog was not letting me go, he kicked the Pitbull with his steel-toe boot right underneath his mouth and it took off running. I have a scar on my ankle where the Pitbull bit me, ever since I have been traumatized and nervous to go near any big dogs.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: May 19, 2023, 05:32:32 AM
Well, now there is more people going to trust Tether. They have kept their promise. It has spent 15% of it's profit buying $222 Million in Bitcoin.

951  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: May 19, 2023, 04:52:08 AM
The last movie that I watched was Bullet Train, which I really liked because of all the great action scenes. The movie includes a great cast of actors like Brad Pitt, Aaron Johnson, Joey King, and Hiroyuki Sanada who all did a great job with their roles in my opinion.

I also like where the story of the movie took place because it was shot in Japan. But that was not all, because the movie has comedy, drama, and thrilling moments that kept me watching without any interruptions. The story involves an unlucky assassin looking to do one more last mission, which puts him on board the world’s fastest train known as the Bullet Train.

Unaware that a collision course of lethal assassins from around the globe is hunting down the same briefcase. The fight scenes were very different because of the bright beautiful colors that were filmed inside the bullet train. This movie was well done and I am sure I will watch this movie at least more than one time.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: May 18, 2023, 06:16:38 AM
Well USDT had profits of $1.5 Billion so far in first quarter of this year. And now it will use at most 15% of profits to buy Bitcoin and depends on monthly net profits.

It is just another reason for Tether to be most trusted stable coin. https://tether.to/en/tether-to-further-strengthen-reserves-through-purchase-of-bitcoin-with-realized-net-operating-profits/
953  Other / Off-topic / Re: Check the expiration date of food (consumables) items before buying them. on: May 18, 2023, 05:22:55 AM
It is very important to check all your food expiration dates before purchasing and taking your food home. From experience I can tell you that a had a bad case of food poisoning, all because I was too stubborn to realize that the turkey ham that I bought at the store was long past its expiration date.

At first when I got the turkey ham out from the packing, a funky but not stinky smell was coming from the turkey ham. I looked and touched the turkey ham and it had clear cream on the ham. I still went ahead and cooked it with some eggs.

Afterward like some 30 minutes later. I started having some bad stomach pains, I also started sweating and had to go to the bathroom because I got diarrhea. But that is not all it only got worst because I started vomiting all the ham and eggs that I had made for breakfast.

This could have all been avoided if had only taken an extra second to look at the expiration date on the turkey ham that I purchased. So yes, take the time to check your food and avoid yourself getting food poisoning.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: May 18, 2023, 04:46:16 AM
Some more 'bullish' news for Ripple if still deciding on it. It has acquired custody startup Metaco for $250 Million. It will pay half in cash and other half will be in equity.

955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: May 18, 2023, 04:25:10 AM
Well this is getting interesting for SBF. The US Department of Justices has sent letters to lawmakers and asking for donations from FTX to be returned. This is more then $40 Million that DOJ is asking for back from Political contributions in 2022.

956  Other / Off-topic / Do you have some big fears? on: May 18, 2023, 04:09:01 AM
I think my biggest fear is of spiders. I am very terrified of spiders because of their eight legs and eyes. Spiders also have fangs that allow them to spit out silk to create webs to trap different types of flying insects to kill them and eat them.

Now spiders are also able to lay their eggs on the webs they create around cold, dark, and dusty spaces. For example, behind furniture, underneath your bed or set of stairs, closets, and sometimes inside cabinets. That is why it is very important that your constantly clean your house to ensure spiders don’t invade or home.

I do not kill spiders when they are inside my house despite how scared I am of them. What I recommend is to set some traps around your house, this way you can catch them safely and take them to a pet store or try to release them to the wild.

So what about your biggest fears?
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite MEME COINS? on: May 17, 2023, 06:22:24 AM
Well I have read that 99% of meme coins will be pump and dumps. But there are some new meme coins paying off big profits for its investors. $Dino, $Shib, and $Floki are making investors big profits.

$Dino is up more then 500% in the last 30 days. It is in top social media engagement with other meme coins like $Shib and Dogecoin. I do not see this to be true about $Pepe and maybe there is no more pumping of this popular meme coin anymore.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to stake your crypto currency on: May 17, 2023, 06:01:44 AM
Well this is just 1 more reason why I do not like to stake my coins anymore. If I want to stake my coins on the exchange, I do not want there to be such delays for getting the rewards from staking them.

Coinbase has paused Ethereum staking rewards withdrawals for up to 3 days. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/coinbase-pauses-eth-staking-reward-205728999.html
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate Meme Coin is Here Sheep coin Launching soon on: May 17, 2023, 05:46:52 AM
When I think of mem coin and it called 'sheep coin' I would not invest in something like this. I will think I am a 'sheep' like a person who follows other people.

I looked in to this project, they have what is called a 'Membersheep'. I am not a big fan of new projects to invest in especially new meme coins because there is so many. It feels like for me each day a new project comes out.
960  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's the most stupid things before you man up? on: May 17, 2023, 05:30:55 AM
Well I regret not being any closer with my mother. When I was much younger she was mean to me and I did not see her as my mother. But when I grew older I started to realize the ways she acted, was not really all of it her fault.
I have had many chances to make up for it. Be a nice son to her and for times we didnt spend together. But now she is older and sicker and it is too late I think. So I regret it from a long time ago not getting to know her better then when I was a kid.
