1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet stops support for XRP, ETC, XLM and BCH on: December 03, 2022, 09:04:42 AM
This is something I thought was going to happen long ago because of XRP issues with the SEC.  I only HODL not too many XRP and they are safe on my Trust Wallet.

I have sold all of my ETC which I got for free from the fork and also my BCH from the fork.  Coinbase did give me some XLM for answering questions on the site so I find it strange they are not going to support XLM no more.
1222  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientists warn long-frozen ‘zombie virus’ is ‘public health threat’ amid thaw on: December 03, 2022, 08:13:29 AM
Great, we are just settling down from the Covid-19 pandemic. Now a ‘zombie virus” threat? Are we truly trying to end humanity? Is there something that we don’t know that the government is not telling us? Which all are just speculations.

Never take scientist findings as a hoax. Scientists are called scientists for a reason; they gather the data with hypotheses.  Which can therefore give humanity a chance to prevent dying, and have the data to continue life.

Hopefully, this threat doesn’t come out during my lifetime. I don’t think I can pull off a zombie look.
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen to Bytecoin on: December 03, 2022, 07:40:48 AM
I remember Bytecoin from a long time ago around the same time Peercoin, Fantomcoin, Boolberry, Quazarcoin, Ducknote, and Monero. There was a issue with it being premine I recall.

I had a lot of them at some point but gambled them all away on a dice site.  Maybe this was not a bad idea because Bytecoin has lost so much value over all the years and is down 15% just today.
1224  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cocaine Bear on: December 03, 2022, 06:15:53 AM
This movie looks very violet and I wonder if people will walk out of the movie theater with all the aggression. My heart rate spiked while watching the trailer.  The trailer shows, how “Cocaine Bear AKA Pablo Escobar” felt ingesting a high amount of cocaine.
The irony is that, in most cases it is true that it is euphoric and can be deadly. It is showing what can happen when taking cocaine, blissful feeling, to the high feeling, and even anger. So, I guess, this is a new way to prevent the use of drugs.
Kids say no to drugs. I think this looks like a crazy movie that could be very violent and hard for me to watch but it still interests me so I will see it when it comes out next February.
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin? on: December 03, 2022, 05:25:35 AM
There are a lot of different approaches to investing into the crypto space. I’ve tried different moves over the last few years but I’ve had the best gains on BTC more then altcoins.

In fact, at the moment I’m basically all in on Bitcoin. BTC just always preforms, I mean when you look at the history of consistent gains I think I’m in a great position. I don’t even look at my wallet these days, I’m all about the long hold.
1226  Other / Off-topic / Re: Givers never lack on: December 03, 2022, 05:11:21 AM
The end of the year, December, also known as the month of giving. There are so many ways you can be extra giving especially around the holidays. One can find a purpose of life, knowing that one has lend a hand. There are so many ways you can be giving.

There are charity events, fundraisers, helping family member or members, helping at a senior citizen home. Random acts of kindness can make one person happy. In hopes that it can repeat to the next person that comes around. That sense of fulfillment will make you happy and others happy.
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF Confirmed He Will Be Speaking at NY Times’ DealBook Summit on: December 02, 2022, 06:48:47 AM
I have watched him at the New York Times DealBook Summit and I am still wondering how he can answer some question with a smile on the face.  Do we care that he has only 100,000 in his bank account because I do not.
He says customers in America will get their money back not sure if this is true. His appearance in court for a hearing on February 2nd, 2023 is when things will come out I hope.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8b1hAbbHTg
1228  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone playing warzone 2 on: December 02, 2022, 05:13:06 AM
Yes I play WZ2 with a GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and it runs smoothly.

The GTX 1660 is a 6 GB gpu it will run slowly.  Warzone 2 works best with at least a 8GB gpu or better so this will be a problem when gaming.
1229  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which drugs shoyld i use after big loss? on: December 02, 2022, 04:53:34 AM
I do not think it is a good idea to do drugs at all, even especially after a big loss. It can help momentarily, but at the end, you still stand on what lays ahead with the loosing the bet. There is a lot of possibilities with taking drugs after losing.

I would be scared, especially knowing that drugs are illegal. You might become hooked if you try a hard drug. There are so many ways to cope with a loss. Having a glass of wine or a run around the block a dozen times can help. I would never ever advise someone to ever turn to drugs.
1230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when trading gives you heart problem. on: December 01, 2022, 08:24:23 AM
I think there are inherent health risks with investing and crypto is no exception. There are no guarantees that you won't lose money but if you only invest in things you feel strongly about you can weather any storm.

For example, I feel very strongly about the future of Bitcoin and that’s why I don't trade the swings. I believe in the technology and value it brings to millions of people all around the world. I firmly believe that BTC will reach 100k at some time and I don't get hung up on the volatility of the price because I’m holding long.
1231  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beat friend sent me death threats what do? on: December 01, 2022, 05:23:15 AM
Lend me money and I’ll pay you later. You did not do anything wrong with asking your friend to hang out and if he had the $150.00, he owes you. Money first should not be put in between friends. However, it’s all said and done, he doesn’t understand that is just like stealing from you, when he knows he owes you money.

Add death threats, which today shouldn’t be taken carelessly. That is scary, regardless of how you handled the situation, you are not at fault. No one deserves to have their life to be threatened. It is too bad that you are put in danger with such behavior. That $150.00, is worth less than losing your life.
1232  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hunter is 'shot dead by his own DOG on: December 01, 2022, 05:02:10 AM
Such a heartbreaking story, that this man was shot, literally by his best friend. A dog, of all things, what an obscene way to pass away. This would have not been something the dog would have ever wanted to happen. This man had a death wish by loading his guns already.

I guess that when you live in another country there is no such thing as gun safety. We never know when how long we are left on earth. I believe what is ethical this is an accident, the dog should not be disciplined or put to death. At least that man passed knowing that he lived his life to the fullest.
1233  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will Be bottom Of BTC in 2022 Year ( Current Price= $16000 ) on: November 30, 2022, 06:53:40 AM
Well in this 'bear market' I could see crypto continue to slide but not drastically. For example, I do not see BTC going below 15k. The sluggish global economy is taking a hit on BTC in the short term but I predict it will bounce back much faster than most asset classes.
Right now I suspect the war and pandemic have slowed growth down but as inflation rises in 2023, I foresee people looking to BTC as a safe haven and prices will rise.
1234  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting up and having positive hope on: November 30, 2022, 06:42:26 AM
It is important to value the days we have alive. How life itself has brought us to the present moment. There should be no regrets or worry about how tomorrow will be.

It can take a single horrible moment to happen and the ability to enjoy life to the fullest will be suddenly taken away from us. I have an elder friend that had a bad relationship with her brother. In between the selfishness and hardheaded ways, they both have.

She told me, that fifteen years went by without them speaking. One day, at the end of her brother’s life she finally realized that it was something so petty. Her brother was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Her brother had instructed his immediate family to keep her away as much as possible. She only attends the funeral and to this day she is still mourning the death of her brother.

She took for granted understanding that the passage of her life involves family first and communication is the key, which she continues today to still hold a grudge towards her brother’s wife and children. She refuses to talk to them or even acknowledge who they are.
1235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF Confirmed He Will Be Speaking at NY Times’ DealBook Summit on: November 30, 2022, 05:22:13 AM
How can Sam Bankman-Fried be allowed to speak at the New York Times DealBook Summit? Is the New York Times using this to make it a witch hunt? Or is it the New York Times giving him his opportunity to tell his sorry side of the story?

To be twenty-nine years old and be an imposter. He is painting his side of the story for the world to see before he goes to trial. This is where one shouldn’t innocent till proven guilty. He is absolutely a rotten person, living his life to the fullest without any repercussions for his actions. All the destruction he has caused to a lot of people.
1236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bahamas Govt. Ordered FTX to Transferred Funds to Government Wallet on: November 28, 2022, 10:09:32 AM
I was overjoyed to read headlines that the Bahamas government ordered FTX to transfer their fund to a government wallet. FTX committed serious fraud at the cost of people’s money and did not deserve to get away with all of these bad things they have done.
The Government of the Bahamas did the proper thing because I was hesitant if they were to step in and show their authority. I was not personally affected by all of this since I don’t keep my coins on the exchange, but I know that there are those who do not have access to their coins.
So hopefully when this is all over, they can get their money back. Being optimistic to know the Government of Bahamas has control of the stolen coins.
1237  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can you reduce addiction? on: November 28, 2022, 09:36:21 AM
Reducing addiction can only start when one knows and understand that they have an addiction. Substance disorders must be recognized willingly. In some cases, it is forcefully because of harm that can be done. Harm can be done to family and friends.
Seeking professional help can guide one through reducing addiction and hopefully put an end. In some cases, there can be mental or physical illnesses that have been undiagnosed and only a professional can help.
Surrounding yourself with those that understand that your addiction does run your life. Going to group therapy sessions and sharing your stories with others. Reflecting, exercises, and even meditation can help reduce addiction.
1238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk says the price of BTC will rise on: November 28, 2022, 07:26:01 AM
Well like all of us I was happy when I heard Elon Musk make an bullish statement that Bitcoin will rise.  When he said that BTC will make it but might be a long winter it made me help to realize that Like him or not the man has some influence in what he speaks.

There are so many people that like him or people that hate him that will listen to him because of how wealthy and powerful he is. His confidence in the price of Bitcoin being a long term investment really gives me more confidence in my long term goal and to make me continue to HODL.
1239  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why Scammers and hackers target mobile users via text messages? on: November 28, 2022, 07:10:54 AM
I get daily text message scams to click a link. Guaranteeing a grand prize of millions of dollars, or a debit card has been locked.  A simple clickbait is a scammer’s paradise. Cellphones are the gateway wallet to personal identity, also known as “smishing”.
It is basically a robber pickpocketing someone's sophisticated style. Senior citizens are the easiest targets. One clicks on the link and some of the websites, and one cannot distinguish that it is a scam will be drawn to this. Like a social security number, a cellphone number must be protected.
This is so scary; our location and all our information can be taken from your cellphone. There must be a way to prevent this from occurring so often.
1240  Other / Off-topic / Re: Video of Mother holding child rescued by bus driver during suicide attempt on: November 28, 2022, 06:44:58 AM
This woman is beyond depressed that all she could do is commit suicide. Murdering her child in the process was the only solution. I could only imagine how high the suicide rates there are in China, a country that does not support human rights.

The driver and passengers can be call heroic as suicide has been prevented. However, it can somewhat resume the depressing cycle. Suicide attempts can’t just be erased.

The woman and child will undergo daily and many years of mental health evaluations—both living the trauma itself, in hopes that the child can overcome the situation.
