1361  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your constructive hobby? on: October 02, 2022, 06:08:03 AM
My constructive hobby that I like and enjoy to do is build Star Wars Lego play sets. I find it very interesting that you can pretty much built anything out of Legos and keep your mind busy for hours. It is also very good for your mental health and a good way to stay focused.

For example, when I started building the Death Star Lego set, it was a total of 3,803 Lego Pieces. I never thought that it would have taken me a total amount of 12 hours just to finally complete the set. So, if you’re looking for a good, healthy, creative, and constructive hobby I recommend to try building a small Lego play sets.
1362  Other / Off-topic / Re: Video shows train hitting Colorado police car with person handcuffed inside on: October 01, 2022, 04:29:14 AM
I truly feel terrible for the suspect that was hit by a freight train while she was left inside the police car. It was so wreck less from the police officers to do a vehicle stop in the middle of the train tracks. I don’t think that the police officers really cared about the suspect.
Even in the middle of the night, you might not see the train coming at first but if you hear a horn approaching and getting closer. You wouldn’t be thinking twice to get out of the way, and it wasn’t like the police car had broken down.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: September 29, 2022, 05:36:00 AM
BTC because of it’s limited supply and the price per coin has increased significantly over time at a much faster percentage then gold ever has or ever will.
If you are one for HODLing your BTC then you will be better shape in a few years if you invest in BTC rather then gold.  This must be what most people would agree with.
1364  Other / Off-topic / Re: do you thing human equal? on: September 29, 2022, 05:23:56 AM
I strongly feel that every human being is equal no matter what skin color, language they speak, or religion they choose to follow. However not the same can be said for other countries, for example in Qatar they force migrant workers to work without pay for months.

It is so sad to hear true stories about how companies lack to provide any food or water to the migrant workers. The stadium that will host the World Cup in Qatar that was built by forced labor should be boycott. And as a result, I will not be watching the World Cup this year due to the human rights issues.
1365  Other / Off-topic / Re: Helping others shouldn't be a problem, on: September 29, 2022, 05:06:38 AM
I believe it is important to help out others because it is good karma, if you do good by doing a good act such as helping someone you love and care for. Good karma will come back to you when you least expect it the help.

Sometimes helping family doesn’t require to get paid or hope for something in return. It is more of showing the good will of the person that cares for their loves one or friends. And it makes me feel very happy when I can help others because I am not looking to get something out the situation but as long it comes from me and not because they ask me.
1366  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone watch horror movies? on: September 27, 2022, 06:08:26 AM

1367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin rise again? on: September 27, 2022, 05:54:09 AM
Well I think the price of bitcoin will rise again it is just when will it rise again that we dont know. HODL is my motto because I am a true believer and I have been a true believer for long time.

I’ve always believed in BTC for the long term and always said there was going to be volatility on our way to 100k just when is the thing we dont know.  My prediction is that in the year 2025 the price of 1 btc will be 100k to 150k in price.
1368  Other / Off-topic / Re: do you like anime on: September 27, 2022, 05:40:01 AM
I really like anime.  The last movie I recently caught was  Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon - The Second Act and definitely liked it a lot. It follows three granddaughters adventures and it has a kind of supernatural, adventure theme.

It was definitely better than the first one in my opinion but I enjoyed the first act too. I’m a fan of InuYasha which I would highly recommend watching before checking either of these out.

At bottom, I really did like both of these though because of the side stories and it brought back a lot of characters that I wasn’t expecting.

1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: September 27, 2022, 04:48:36 AM
I do get tokens and I have nothing against them and I understand the value. However, I always feel the need to sell them pretty quickly to be honest.

It's just for me, I have long hold position in Bitcoin and I feel pretty strongly about it. I totally understand people have different stands but I like being heavy in BTC. I have some alt-coins but mainly I only buy BTC.
1371  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your IQ? on: September 26, 2022, 07:39:24 AM
I'm not sure what my IQ score is but I have tested fairly high on some of the online tests that are offered for free.

In my opinion, IQ tests are potentially good for testing specific types of intelligence but I do not believe it's the definitive psychometric tool to determine a human's overall ability to perform or add value.

For example, I suspect a considerable portion of creative people that are drawn to the arts may not perform very high on IQ tests but clearly add significant value.

On the other hand, if companies are looking for great systems thinkers and high reasoning ability in their workers and they're willing to sacrifice finding outside the box creativity in their work force, IQ tests may be a good option.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) goes up, Bitcoin stays flat or even lose value on: September 26, 2022, 07:27:58 AM
I don't think so, I will stick to bitcoin and eth for the main coins to invest in
but ripple can be an alternative in short term investment

Well, I agree with what you said here.  My main 2 coins are BTC and ETH with xrp just as my what if coin when this bear market ends and we enter the ‘Bull Market’ again.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 26, 2022, 07:08:36 AM
Well I have read having wiped out $40B worth of investors funds, Interpol has issued a 'red notice' for Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon to locate and arrest him.

I do not think any pumps with this project will happen now any time soon.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep or sell ethereum before the merge? on: September 26, 2022, 06:45:14 AM
I think the price of Ethereum will break 2k when the merge happens.  So if selling your Ethereum is on your mind just wait until maybe a few days have passed after September 15.
But just know other people will behaving the same strategy as you so you must be quick or considering setting a sales point on a exchange or what you use to do your trading.

The price is expected to drop to extreme levels after the update and even a little before it. This will continue for an unknown period of time until all nodes are up to date.
Price is always related to supply and demand, and demand is expected to decrease as the mining algorithm changes.
Currently, without the merge, the price of Ethereum is not commensurate with its real value due to the problems that is supposed to be overcome after the update. The price is supposed to recover before the end of the current year.

Well, it looks like you were right about the Merge and I was wrong. The price of 1 Ethereum is less than 1300 which is much lesser then it was before the Merge.
1375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Opened another business were I accept Bitcoin on: September 22, 2022, 12:05:07 PM
At the moment, I am not a business owner but however, I would 100% accept Bitcoin as payment. I would prefer it over credit cards and offer my customers incentives for them to buy my product or service using Bitcoin.

The good thing that comes from accepting Bitcoin is the lower transaction fees which mean more money into your pocket. That will help your business make more profit and increase your investment for the long-term.
1376  Other / Off-topic / Re: Paintball mask question on: September 22, 2022, 11:38:18 AM
When I was younger on the weekends, I would go over to my cousin’s house and we would go out to play Paintball. My cousin would let me borrow his Dye Precision I4 Thermal mask, but for some reason, I always had some trouble fitting the mask on properly and finally decided to buy my own paintball mask which I strongly recommend.

The Virtue VIO Paintball Mask is built from premium-quality plastic and different foam materials, but the best feature is the shock-absorbent and fog-free lens.  Its a good one to own if youre serious about playing Paintball.
1377  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to study well English grammar? on: September 21, 2022, 08:03:08 AM
When working to become more proficient with English grammar it’s a good idea to try a few different methods simultaneously. I recommend using apps like Babel and Duel-lingo. These apps help gamify the process of learning and help you pick up grammar in fun ways.

If you’re looking to learn the Queen’s English, I would check out ‘The Crown’. Moreover, if you want to learn American business English, I would find a series that centers around those themes. Reading is also a powerful tool to improve your understanding of English grammar.

I also recommend watching an English TV series that are aligned with your goals. Historical dramas (early to mid 20th century) are the best from students I’ve spoken with because many of them use less slang and the actors speak with more clarity.

1378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: September 21, 2022, 07:47:06 AM
Yes, my neighbor knows I am into Bitcoin and we talk about it from time to time, mostly my neighbor likes to ask me when it's in the news. He likes to ask me my opinion and I always tell him it’s best to buy the dip and hold it for years to come.

I explain to him as well how easy you can purchase Bitcoin from the Coinbase app or Binance app. And gave him a couple of links to start learning about Bitcoin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41JCpzvnn_0 & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4g1XFU8Gto

1380  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 21, 2022, 07:10:41 AM
Although many people would prefer to work remotely, I think it's better for me to have a day job where you have to report to an office. I feel more focused because I will have assignments and deadlines that have to complete.

And would also be less likely to get the job done if I were surrounded by other people distracting me or trying to get my attention. Sounds strange but I get more work done and not looking at my phone because I am busy at an office.
