1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: November 10, 2022, 07:26:50 AM
Well I agree with you and I am not too bothered with the price right now. I have been picking up Bitcoin for years now and I try not to focus too much on the price. I think BTC as more of a longer term investment strategy. I don’t play the swings and definitely don’t sell my coins.

BTC has been consistently making me money for many years now. I like buying it cheap but that’s not what motivates me, I’ve definitely bought when it’s higher too. What gets me pumped up is knowing that BTC is going to hit 100k in 2023.
1282  Other / Off-topic / Re: Right After Takeoff’s Death, Gruesome Videos Spread Like Wildfire on: November 10, 2022, 07:04:31 AM
Death to me a private matter but with today’s technology, social media shares information instantaneous.
I think the videos posted of Takeoff’s murder is unsympathetic. The lack of concern is devastating to family and friends with posting his corpse on social media.
Imagine if this happened before 2000, the man could rest in peace and privacy. I wish that people can just stop and think before posting. One should have dignity and respect for family and friends.
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 10, 2022, 06:35:35 AM
Well I also think that 'good things come to those that wait'. I do believe the good things come to those that wait even if it is about waiting for bitcoin to start another 'bull run' and not to panic sell but just hodl your coins.

For example, being patient and holding onto a great investment can be difficult but if you are patient you will see the biggest returns on your investment. Patience is absolutely one of the most valuable virtues.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTX became the second Luna? on: November 09, 2022, 08:10:53 AM
Absolutely brilliant what CZ did. He bought leverage on FTX via FTT tokens early on, then used that leverage to start a bank run (liquidity crunch) on FTX via a Tweet, then stopped up FTX for pennies on the dollar.

Now FTT token is down 90% in the last 24 hours and yes some are calling it the next Luna.
1285  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon now is charging $8 a month to get your Twitter verified on: November 09, 2022, 05:14:19 AM
As an individual, no, I would not pay eight $8 dollars per month for a twitter verification. I am hardly ever on twitter and I dont see a reason to have a twitter verification.
As for a business standpoint, twitter should release a beta and see what happens. I still have some doubts of what Elon Musk has mad promises in having a twitter verification.
1286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to Our Bitcoin and Other Assets If We Die? on: November 09, 2022, 04:26:57 AM
When I die my bitcoins will go to my significant other whoever that is at the time or my children if I have any.
I pity the fool that doesnt prepare for his fate like this and leaves his bitcoins in a wallet, never to be touched again or taken by someone else who some way discovers how to access it.
1287  Other / Off-topic / Re: Blood Donation! on: November 09, 2022, 04:03:28 AM
I think donating blood is the nicest thing you can do for a stranger. Anyone that has passed/cleared to donate blood should do it.

Knowing that I gave my blood to someone in need is humane and a feel good feeling.  Blood cannot be duplicated, so donating can save a lot of lives I wish more people would do it.
1288  Other / Off-topic / Re: Girl who killed her alleged rapist to pay $150,000 to his family on: November 08, 2022, 08:24:23 AM
Well I am not sure what the feeling to have for this is but this girl who killed her alleged rapist has now escaped from custody.  I wish she just stayed there because now she violated her probation will be forced to serve 20 years if she is caught.

I think she will be caught very soon and this will be a big regret she made https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/nov/06/iowa-pieper-lewis-escapes-custody

1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 08, 2022, 07:39:36 AM
Well no I do not believe that the 'bear market' is over.  I do think that bear markets are a great time to invest in Bitcoin.
If you’re entering the market when everything is down you have a much higher possibility to get significant returns on your investments. If you happen to have extra fiat laying around then you’re in an opportune position to make money.
I couldn’t think of a better time buying Bitcoin then when it’s low but be prepared to hold long. The Ukraine war and the brewing economic recession could take a while to blow over.
1291  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a secure investment amidst recession on: November 06, 2022, 07:15:30 AM
My golden rule for investing is to look for investment opportunities that have growth potential that I also happen to really believe in. For example, I’m a huge believer in Bitcoin and think the technology has huge potential.

If I truly believe in a technology, product or service, I don’t have to worry about short term swings. I like holding long and try to never sell for less than I paid for something.

If you have faith in growth potential, than eventually it will materialize or it won’t but I wouldn’t make that decision until I’ve given it a lot of time. I think BTC will hit 100k eventually but it may take time to get there.
1292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Halloween 🎃 on: November 06, 2022, 06:38:18 AM
When I saw the news about the tragedy that took place in South Korea at the Halloween Festival, at first, I really did not understand what was going on. But witnesses and survivors were being interviewed by the news reporter and began explaining how the tragedy took place. I could not believe that more than 150 died and hundreds more were injured in a crowd rush. It is still unclear what may have caused the incident, although local media reported it may have begun when people started filing a narrow alley in one of the city’s prominent party spots the Hamilton Hotel. People began crowding a nearby bar after a celebrity unexpectedly showed up.
1293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: November 06, 2022, 06:01:28 AM
Well I absolutely think it's a great time to invest in Bitcoin right now. With a revolutionary technology like BTC its adoption and utility will continue to grow exponentially and that will result in the value continuing to increase.

This year alone, during the war with Russia we saw one of the largest humanitarian projects being carried out to help the Ukrainians with over 60 million being donated with cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is limited in its supply meaning that it's a great way to store value and is absolutely one of the safest asset classes to be in right now.
1294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon now is charging $8 a month to get your Twitter verified on: November 06, 2022, 05:27:52 AM
I feel good that Elon Musk has finally bought Twitter and is going to charge an $8 monthly fee. But along with paying the monthly fee to use the platform, it will also feature a verification system to eliminate bots and fake profiles.

I personally do not have an issue with rich people paying $96 a year for Twitter verification. This will be good for celebrities, politicians, athletes, and social media influencers because it will allow them to see who is really following their Twitter accounts. Having verification to access Twitter will also help reduce and clean up spam.
1295  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exactly did Elon want to buy Twitter? on: November 05, 2022, 06:48:06 AM
Well firstly I think it's great that Elon Musk bought Twitter for an important reason. The fact that we have freedom of speech as a right is absolutely amazing but in practice we’re not being delivered on that promise. Social media has now become so ingrained in our lives that we depend on it for our expressing our ideas and in principle our thinking.

Taking Twitter private is the best way to ensure that our freedoms last into the new digital age.  I think Elon bought Twitter so he could see these changes happen and he knew it would cost him 44 billion dollars to make it happen.
1296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or bear November? on: November 04, 2022, 05:41:58 AM
Well it's been tough past few months and sadly think November it will continue in the 'bull market'.  It's easy for me to be sad and depressed with the current price per bitcoin but than I just remind myself this always happens like such and everything will return to profits in the future.
For anyone not thinking this cycle is a regular occurrence this might not be the correct place for you to invest.  Do not be sad be glad you are here.

1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Winter on: November 04, 2022, 04:19:28 AM
Bitcoin is low right now and it’s hard to pin down the exact reasons. I have been following BTC during the Ukrainian invasion by Russia and BTC has been relatively stable.

The rest of the crypto market is looking pretty attractive because it’s more speculative to big firms and war time is not great for risk.

I have buying positions in and I’m following the news but right I’m holding my positions to see how things shake out with the ongoing war.  We will make it though this 'crypto winter' if this is what we want to call it at the current time.
1299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk is a Sissy-Bitch on: November 03, 2022, 06:55:51 AM
Well now it will begin to change things for the worse if you are working at Twitter because Elon will fire 50% of the staff by Friday.  I think anyone who has a job there right now is worried for their future.

3700 employees will be out of work in a few days that is sad to think about this https://news.yahoo.com/elon-musk-plans-decimate-twitter-055416547.html

1300  Other / Off-topic / Re: Take care of your health on: November 03, 2022, 06:34:49 AM
I believe that it is very important to take care of one’s health. By having a healthy lifestyle you are able to promote longevity making you feel great and young. Also having a good amount of exercise and getting enough rest helps you lower stress levels.

If you are careless with your health and don’t care about the consequences of being neglectful by doing drugs and not properly eating right. This will result in serious consequences for your health moving forward.
