1181  Other / Off-topic / Re: People at the top cant live normal life anymore on: December 24, 2022, 07:28:57 AM
Absolutely do not agree. Take for example, intelligent folks you said who are wealthy have financial advisors to take care of their money. They do not need to keep making billions to survive.
This will help secure a future and generations wealth to support their lifestyle and their family. I do not think they need to keep working but people like them who are so wealthy might be driven to making more money. This is a reason; I think they are working not to support a lifestyle.
Now, for those who are not smart with money should find someone to help them take care of their money. This way it is safe and in the long run can help them.
1182  Other / Off-topic / Re: The DEA is offering a $10,000,000 reward for World Most Wanted Man on: December 24, 2022, 06:55:05 AM
Does this really reward the persons giving up a most wanted man? Hasn’t anyone seen any mafia movies, those that snitch end of dead. In all seriousness, this is absolutely a hefty bounty for the head of a criminal and there are so many things that can happen if he ever does get arrested.
For those that do help, their lives are going to be destroyed, especially for those that give up on ‘El Tony Montana’s’ whereabouts.  When and if he is found, I certainly hope that this stops the fentanyl crisis. Even moving forward show that the world will stand on the fight against drugs and criminals should think twice to getting caught.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: December 23, 2022, 07:31:12 AM
The 'Bear Market' is really bad right now sad to admit.  We have seen the price of Bitcoin between 16k and 18k for some time now.  It is still very uncertain when this 'Bear Market' will end but some people think the Bull Market will start early 2023 and this something I want to believe is going to happen.

When the price was 18k I saw many people talk about how we have hit the rock bottom in Bitcoin price and it can only go up from here. Soon after that the price went back down to 16,500 so at this point we really do not know when it will end.
1184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2022, 06:32:48 AM
I have to say all of the panic and worrying about the price of BTC I see online right now does remind me of the crypto crash of 2018. At some point in early 2018, I remember BTC dropping around 10k probably because of regulatory fears.
There was also a lot of resistance from some financial institutions like JP Morgan back then that I think contributed to the pessimism. However, all the doubters were proved wrong; the blockchain and crypto were adopted globally by governments, organizations and financial institutions.
The point is, it all worked out and the correction was short lived. I predict the same correction again when the global economy starts a recovery.
1185  Other / Off-topic / Re: Truth About Life on: December 23, 2022, 06:17:21 AM
I agree with your part about "It is better to carry $500 worth of bag filled with $5000 than to carry $5000 worth of bag with $500 inside". There are so many people I know who have expensive cars, but they will request gas money even like five dollars for carpooling.

These are people I work with who tell me about how they went on a vacation with their family over the weekend, but then come to work and skip lunch because one has spent too much money on their vacation. This shows which important priorities are to one and it just shows a lack of common sense.
1186  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why depression comes on: December 23, 2022, 05:56:01 AM
Self-care is number one and dealing with depression is important. My number one depression reliever is to go exercise like going on a long walk. Now and then a hot jacuzzi tub session or sitting in a sauna can also make my depression go away.
What also helps is talking with those around me that are close to me I can only trust with my feelings. It is a positive way to let someone else know what my thoughts and I can get an opinion or in some ways, I do have a friend that just let talk it out without any opinion.
Those are good options when you are not feeling good, knowing that there are those around you to understand.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy more ETH after reading this ? on: December 22, 2022, 07:57:47 AM
This is very useful information. ETH is one of only a small amount of alt coins that I still hodl in my portfolio.  I am not as Bullish on this coin as I use to be but I do still want to believe in its use and that when the "Bear Market" ends there will be investors collecting bags of it.

Ethereum is still second for marketcap with 148 billion dollars. I am confident in the ethereum blockchain and will continue to buy more coins for this cheap price to hope I recover my many losses.
1188  Other / Off-topic / Re: FTX has more than 1 billion in cash? on: December 22, 2022, 07:08:41 AM
FTX exchange new CEO, John J. Ray III is asking for seeking charity and political donations to be returned to the company that was made from SBF. I do not think this will happen but just shows how broke they are.
SBF tik tok video I found and I do not believe it but its from 2021 https://www.tiktok.com/@benthamite/video/7017568248652696837?is_from_webapp=v1&item_id=7017568248652696837
1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX drama stressing people for no reason | How to stay neutral on: December 22, 2022, 05:41:46 AM
Well it is nice to know there is some money left but if you had money in FTX and think you are going to get any then you are going to be upset when reality sets in. That money will go to other people before the small guy who has a few hundred in there sees his money.

Hell people are still waiting for their investments from Mt gox and this was from 2014! And even if someone who got scammed by FTX does want to get their money there is so many other people way ahead of you in the line wanting to claim their stolen funds. I am lucky enough to not have had any money in there but I still feel awful for honest people who got scammed by him.

1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best escrow wallet for USDT on: December 22, 2022, 04:28:47 AM
Best wallet for Tether escrow is the one I only use and that is https://wallet.bitcoin.com/tether/.  It is easy and safe to use and from the trusted bitcoin.com site.

I choose t not use the mobile version but there is mobile if you like to access our usdt wallets in this manner. It will be safe I think but I have been scammed way too many times to take this risk.

1193  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do not rely on your OS security on: December 20, 2022, 07:27:16 AM
Our operating system virus protection is not enough. We never know these days there are so many hackers trying to obtain sensitive information. Norton 360 is a downright way to protect your operating system from virus privacy and it also improves on how your computer runs.
The program has an easy interface to use and does constantly run to let you know if your computer has a virus or how your computer is running. For a reasonable price annually with a free download your computer gets up to date protection while you are working.
It does also help your computer boost startups and does give value for the money.
1194  Other / Off-topic / Re: How secure are you online? on: December 20, 2022, 06:35:26 AM
Constant security is always important. I have this program with IObit's Advanced SystemCare Ultimate package to protect my computer. I love this program especially because it lets me know the performance of my computer.

With an easy program interface, it has a scan mode that checks everything on the computer, privacy sweep, anti-virus protection, spyware, clean out junk files, firewall security reinforcement and disk optimization.

The program itself does give a constant checkup of your computer knowing that while you are using the internet it gives you protection. The only con to this program is that it has constant advertisements for recommended software but that can be easily disabled.
1195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance lots of FUD on: December 19, 2022, 08:13:41 AM
Well I think all the Binance fud is just what the name says it is FUD. Many people who do not like Bitcoin and think its scam are telling us to take our coins off of exchanges like Binance because it will be just like the next FTX.

But there is a difference that Changpeng Zhao is not Sam Bankman-Fried who is a person so many had a bad feeling for and look what happened. I do not keep my coins on the exchanges but I think Binance will be safe if you want to.
1196  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: December 19, 2022, 07:08:57 AM
I recently caught  ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’, based on a book by Delia Owens. I always try not to expect too much when a movie is based on a book but this was a captivating must-see film!
It captures the story of a young woman living in the marshlands of North Carolina. I give props to a young woman like the main character, to survive growing up in the Marshland by herself. At a very young age, she develops her own survival skills from her alcoholic abusive father.
She saw the pain and horror and even watched her mother just walk away from the abuse. Alongside her siblings leaving her behind she felt sadness and learned to move on. I wondered where the mystery part would come n, mid-movie that will leave you wondering about death.
How certainly someone can be put to jail over racism?  This movie is worth two hours of your time.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ? on: December 19, 2022, 05:56:52 AM
I am very Bullish on Bitcoin for 2023 and 2024 and also Eth and Ada. I hodl both of these coins in my wallet and have never wanted to sell them when when during this 'bear market'. I know they will be worth much more when market recovers.
Ethereum because it powers thousands of dapps and it has luse cases for it. Cardano because I have been hodling them for a long time now and I am a fan of Charles Hoskinson since he was working with Vitalik Buterin on Ethereum.

1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: December 17, 2022, 08:49:41 AM
Well as a strong believer and investor in Bitcoin my strong hands are currently still buying it. I am also talking about Bitcoin as a solid investment opportunity to people I meet and know that are not already familiar and invested in it already.
I tend to talk about it quite a bit with other people. When you feel as strongly about crypto as I do, you want to discuss it and it just comes up naturally. For example, when I go out to a social gathering there’s a good chance I will bring it up with people and hear their opinions.
I tell them it is so easy to install tBinance and Coinbase on your phone they do it right in front of me.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hydra Event to boost Cardano Price? on: December 17, 2022, 07:46:32 AM
I am just waiting for the Cardano's algorithmic stable coin Djed to be launched. With the price leveraged close to $1 like other stablecoins I think it could be a reason for Cardano which I HODL to also go up in price.
It will be different with having 2 versions 1 version to serve as a medium of a exchange. The other version being the smart contract to pay all transaction fees on Cardano's network.
