1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: October 23, 2022, 05:37:15 AM
Whenever I think of a token or chain that has some potential to compete with or take over Ethereum its Solana that comes to my mind.
There is just too many problems with it like constant downtime and not as much hype for new project since there once was.  Also many security breaches from the last few months make we concerned.
SOL is down close to 200 dollars per coin this year so if you have confidence in this project there is much profit to be made when the 'bull market' starts again.

The fireman was very brave to save his life and luckily they are trained in suicide prevention for such a crisis.
Whatever has transpired in this man's life was not worth living for and the aftermath will have him on a suicide watch along with a thorough psych evaluation for many years to come.

1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk is one of the keys to be 100k$ per Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2022, 08:38:00 AM
I do absolutely believe that Elon Musk has a major role in the price of Bitcoin reaching $100k. His social media presence and influence is proof that when he sends out a couple of Tweets people pay attention.
People also saw the price of Tesla stocks rising creating more believers and reaching more followers. His role in the crypto market has a huge impact on many of his followers that invest in Tesla.
When Elon Musk rumored that Tesla would accept Bitcoin as a means of purchasing, it was the moment I believe catapulted him in front of a new and broader audience.
1325  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you name your child after a crypto?? on: October 17, 2022, 07:47:46 AM
NO I would not name my children after a crypto.  I believe if my child who was named 'monero' or 'tezos' will cause my child great harm and abuse in grade schools.
If bully wants to look up the meaning of his/her name and sees it is a crypto currency they would be a topic of bullying.  For that reason I will stay with normal names for people.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 17, 2022, 05:30:06 AM
Yes I really do think that the Metaverse is the future.  Firstly it opens a new source of revenue streams for many companies who are looking to create a business in the Metaverse which will be very normal in the future.
I am really looking into what the future of the Metaverse has to offer with different new technology like virtual reality and computer generated simulations.  The governments will use the Metaverse for their benefits too.

1327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency - how to trade and earn? on: October 17, 2022, 05:18:22 AM
Well, I understand wanting to get into trading cryptocurrency but I think this is a sub-optimal investment strategy. It’s very hard to determine the optimal entry point and exit of an investment. For example, I believe bitcoin has a high probability of being valued at 100K in 2023.
Therefore my recommendation would be to hold long on investments that you feel fairly confident about over a longer time horizon. Also, never invest more money than you feel comfortable losing.
And lastly, hold on with dear life and never panic sell because I get so much pressure from others to sell before my investments have had time to mature.
1328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's next for cryptocurrency? on: October 17, 2022, 05:07:33 AM
At the moment with this current 'bear market', it is good to buy Bitcoin while it's still cheap. Because I am predicting that the 'bear market' will end by the end of this year. And start with a bullish trend beginning in the 2nd week of the month of January.

So don’t wait any longer now is the time to buy Bitcoin.  Another reason is it’s been trading sideways now for a while between 18-20k. So, it is only a matter of time before Bitcoin takes off on a bullish trend.
1329  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tattoo of 13 on: October 16, 2022, 06:28:29 AM
Well although I do have a couple of tattoos on my body, I would never get a number 13 tattooed. One of the reasons is that the number 13 represents bad luck in many different cultures. It represents rebellion which usually also starts at the age of 13 years old.

And I don’t agree with having any numbers whatsoever tattooed on my body. I think that anyone that tattooed themselves with this number must be a gang member or former prisoner.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US being too hard on crypto? on: October 16, 2022, 06:20:28 AM
My friend who lives in the US tells me that he is nervous about buying and selling his crypto. With the SEC and US president Joe Biden’s administration wanting people to pay taxes on their cryptocurrency things are very up in the air for taxes.
Especially if Biden’s administration is working with the SEC to create a crypto tax law, it would not be good for any US customers. My friend told me that with his losses and his gains he may only be able even out his investment.
1331  Other / Off-topic / Re: How I paid for fuel with crypto on: October 16, 2022, 05:03:46 AM
Well being able to purchase gasoline with crypto is very cool and exciting if you ask me. As more businesses begin to accept crypto, I can see in the near future that one day Bitcoin will be accepted as payment for fueling up at more places.

Hopefully after we get out of this 'bear market' and enter the 'bull marker' then more gas stations around the world will be able to accept any crypto as a means of paying for gas.
1332  Other / Off-topic / Re: R.I.P Asian Football World : Indonesia on: October 16, 2022, 04:53:47 AM
It is such horrific and sad news to hear that things could have taken place at the Indonesian soccer game. An event that shouldn’t have ended with at least 125 dead is truly a tragedy. Yes, a lot of emotions were running high that night for such an important game.

But don’t think it was right that along with the 125 people dead another 300 people were also injured simply because they couldn’t keep people in control. When I read the news, it was such a disappointment not only for the people that lost their lives but for the sport of football.
1333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: October 16, 2022, 04:38:02 AM
I strongly advise against seeking someone that has the expertise and knowledge on day trading crypto. Because the crypto market is very volatile and unpredictable, I think you are better off learning how to tell when the crypto market is in a bullish trend and just basically buy Bitcoin and HODL.

And also learn when is a bearish market to determine when is a good price to purchase crypto at the lowest price per coin.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 16, 2022, 04:23:25 AM
Well to be honest to be honest, I don’t believe that the Shitcoin era is going to go away since people are always trying to find the next get-rich-quick coin. Now even more than ever newer "shit coins" are being created every day.

People who don’t know much about the crypto space will probably buy those types of coins thinking they will be able to make a short-term and fast profit.
1335  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: October 13, 2022, 04:37:56 AM
The other night I streamed the all new Father of the Bride (2022). As a fan of the original romance/comedy film, I thought I would give it a go and it was pretty entertaining.

It stars Andy Garcia and took a slightly different take on the story but keeping most of the elements I liked about the original.

I had my doubts if this was going to be worth the watch but I actually liked the feisty drama and romance. It incorporates Latin family dynamics and traditions and did it in a tasteful way that felt new.
1336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: October 12, 2022, 05:33:28 AM
A lot of newbies need to learn to Buy the Dip and HODL and not panic sell. Many people that are new into crypto are just too consumed with their anxiety and not grounded enough in their beliefs.

I’ve been in the crypto space for while now and I’ve seen plenty of crashes and corrections over the years and I think that has built a lot of confidence in me.

I feel when you really begin to understand how valuable the technology is , you stop looking so much at your wallet and relax into the long hold strategy. You could never get me to let go of my coins because I know what they’ll be worth in the years to come.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Crypto Twitter reacted to Kim Kardashian’s $1.26M SEC fine on: October 12, 2022, 05:11:27 AM
Well she did he violate the anti-touting provision of federal securities law by using her celebrity status, power as a social media Influencer, and manipulating her following through her looks to allow her fans to get scammed.
I feel good that she is getting what she deserves and if she wasnt so rich and famous maybe she would have to serve some time in jail.  I hope she loses some fan base but I don't know if she will since her fans are so loyal and they will forgive her.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Wallet for Storing Altcoins? on: October 12, 2022, 04:55:42 AM
Well since Binance has always been my preferred Crypto exchange so when they bought Trust wallet I became more confident to keep my alt coin portfolio in trust wallet.

I feel compared to some others that it is much faster mobile wallet and I enjoy the slickness of the dapp browser it comes with.

When I have free time I love to do something outdoors. Sometimes I go for a bike ride and just enjoy cruising around and being physical.
Other times, I like to record on GarageBand app and really make the music pop with lots of interesting layers and sounds.
Other times, I like to unleash my creative side and play music on my guitar or my ukulele. If I feel like jamming, I like to sit on the patio and get some sun.
