1141  Other / Off-topic / Re: Japanese government offers families 1m yen a child to leave Tokyo on: January 09, 2023, 05:17:10 AM
How did the Japanese government come up with this idea, how many years of research on the demographics in Tokyo? I think this is a very smart idea considering that there is an overpopulation in the city of Tokyo. In Asian cultures especially in Tokyo if you are poor, you are frowned upon.

If you work in a business type professional environment setting you are highly looked up. Moving to the city is where you have higher chances of being successful and have lots of money.

So those that have that mentality move towards Tokyo to become something and make a living. I can see how this would move their standards in a different route with the population in Tokyo and help the country of Japan control the population including the environment.
1142  Other / Off-topic / Re: NFL player has cardiac arrest on field on: January 09, 2023, 05:03:56 AM
Well, my first thought was that a NFL player is in very good shape so what caused this? Then there were gossip on the internet that it was because of the covid vaccine but I was not sure if that was true.
It looks like now we know it was a cardiac arrest, I also am reading he is doing much better so I hope he will be ok. Being so young, at twenty-four should have to be afraid from playing a sport.
We never know how healthy we are regardless of your age, there can be underlying causes in medical history in our genes that we do not know about. I am curious if he can be given that chance after his medical examinations and the recovery period.
This young man is having been given a second chance to live and I do hope that he continues to live on with his NFL Career.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 06, 2023, 08:39:10 AM
Well as I have already said I think any person that bought this meme coin to think they would make easy profit do not understand the risks. It was only matter of time before it lost its value and it did that already and at rapid drop.

After 3,300% gains this coin has now lost dropped more than 54%. So many people made quick profit but on other hand many people were experienced with a bad introduction to crypto investments. I think Anyone who did not earn 5 billion Bonk on December 25 from LamportDAO lost money.
1144  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about Gay community ? on: January 06, 2023, 07:27:34 AM
I really do not care if someone is gay or not, come one, it is year 2023, and it really never bothered me on how one chooses to love. I understand that some cultures find it wrong or bad for being gay. Thy are just set to olden ways and they should learn to wake up.
I really do not see any difference if someone is gay, they are all human beings to me. There should be more people like me and just accept that homosexuality is normal. No person should ever have to feel that hatred from bigotry. Stop the discrimination and accept it.
1145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: January 06, 2023, 07:05:58 AM
Well part of me wants to believe we will see a Pump in 2023. The all time high in 2022 was certainly a great run for BTC but I don’t believe we have seen anywhere near the top of bitcoin.
With a revolutionary technology like bitcoin it’s very difficult to predict how big it will get because of the new applications and utility of this limited asset. At bottom, I’m a long hold investor in Bitcoin and patience has served me well in my previous investments.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: January 06, 2023, 06:21:46 AM
Well here it is my favorite privacy coin and the first privacy coin I ever did invest in. Monero is number 23 on coinmarketcap with a $2.75 billion marketcap and is up more then 7% in this last week.
I still have some XMR and am happy I did not ever sell them. XMR did lead the other privacy coins in gains in 2022 and it would been more if not for so much FUD it got. The big community who supports it and it having most transactions in 2022 for privacy coins makes me more confident it will reward its holders.
1147  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: January 06, 2023, 06:16:24 AM
I recently caught the new movie 'The Invitation'. When I saw the trailer, I put it on my watch list and then it hit the top ten movies I was like I must see this movie. I really didn’t know what I was in for as the movie is labeled a horror thriller film; I think it is a romance horror film.

Later, I found out from a friend that the movie is inspired from Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’, which even made me just not like this movie at all. It could have been better, and the story was lacking the elements of a horror movie. This movie I certainly do not recommend anyone to see at all.
1148  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does money bring you security ? on: January 06, 2023, 06:01:46 AM
Money, just knowing that I have the cash flow which gives me the feeling of security. To know that I can eat and pay my rent to have a roof over my head.

Growing up, I did not have much money, and now, I find myself older and self-sufficient, it is absolutely a great feeling to know that I will never go hungry or be homeless. That feeling knowing when I am a retired and classified as a senior citizen, if I ever become sick it is nice sense of security to know that I can afford to be treated by a doctor and get the right treatments.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coin caused Solana price to rise by 40% in a week on: January 05, 2023, 06:55:10 AM
We are in a 'bear market' for which all coins are not showing signs of profit then comes this meme coin Bonk and it is going bonkers. It has marketcap of $227 million and up 3,700% in the last 7 days.
This can not last a lot of people will regret going into this 'get rich quick' memecoin. It is called 'The first Solana Dog Coin for the people and by the people' but we have seen this before with memecoins that go on to lose value and fast.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: January 05, 2023, 06:39:57 AM
Well this is no surprise SBF pleads not guilty in the FTX fraud case in his Tuesday hearing. His trial date is noe set for October 23, I can not wait to read on it.

And do you remember his Robinhood shares? Now the United States Deaprtment of Justice has seized his shares worth $575 million.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoin to look out for on: January 04, 2023, 09:08:05 AM
Well for me the best altcoin to look out for in 2023 is Ethereum and Cardano. I hodl some of each but most important I believe in Ethereum for the dapps and I am waiting for Cardano to release the new stable coin Djed.
I think Ethereum has some real chances of a big opportunity for profit for its holders. It is still number 2 on coinmarketcap with close to $153 billion marketcap and I think after this 'bear market' becomes to a end that we will get to experience great gains along with Bitcoin.

1153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 2023 on: January 04, 2023, 08:00:46 AM
Well I can see the bitcoin price continuing to fall but not to so low like $5,000 or 10k in 2023. I would be fine with a $25,000 price per Bitcoin this year with a possible recession coming and higher interest rates and with all the uncertainty surrounding the war.

I think we just need  lower our projections a bit. I’m still very optimistic long term but this year I wouldn’t recommend focusing too much energy on the price. I’m a long hold on Bitcoin so I would just say be patient and not let the fluctuations get to you.
1154  Other / Off-topic / Re: My cat just died on: January 04, 2023, 07:41:13 AM
I am so so sorry to hear that your cat was poisoned. That story really makes me feel real mad and I hope the person that did it will have horrible karma coming his way.

Maybe you are you not familiar with the rainbow bridge? It makes me so sad to read it but it might be helpful for you in times of sadness. https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/poem.htm
1155  Other / Off-topic / Re: I am new here -- new year resolution ??? on: January 02, 2023, 07:34:51 AM
I think it is important to set New Year’s resolutions and really keeping those goals realistically. Traditionally there would be an endless list and none of the goals would be accomplished. There are goals that you can set for yourself. Look ahead at the big picture for the year.
Staying focused on the goals that you have the time, cash flow, and energy to do. There is that circle of friends even family, a network that can help achieve goals for the new year. Goals like maintaining health through continuing to exercise and eating healthy.
Spending more time with peers and friends can be a goal to strengthen the bond. Setting aside ten minutes a day in silence can help the heart and spirit. Planning and starting out small can be a start and even make you a better person.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: January 02, 2023, 06:59:10 AM
Well some sad news I have read is that Kabosu who inspired Shiba Inu and Dogecoin is dying from leukemia and liver disease. He has lived a long life and is 17 years old but not eating and drinking no more.
I cannot predict if this will have a effect on the price of these coins but this is a moment in crypto history from a friendly face. https://www.instagram.com/p/CmnB8sgSbC7/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=9fd92041-f6da-488a-b5a7-e30153aefd92
1157  Other / Off-topic / Re: Messi is closer to his dream on: January 02, 2023, 05:46:28 AM
What is up with this article that I read today about overpriced insurance for the most popular athletes worldwide? I didn’t even know how Messi’s left leg has a $900 million policy whenever he travels around the world.
Even then more for Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, and Gareth Bale who also have very expensive insurance policies on particular valuable body parts that they work with.
I see that this is a must even for any athlete. In any event that there might be some sort of freak accident and critical injuries while playing soccer this can help them recoup their wages and even if they are stripped from playing soccer.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: January 01, 2023, 08:01:14 AM
I certainly do not believe how SBF is being treated for not having to be in prison right now. I seriously think that he is somewhat getting that privileged treatment, and why is he being overly protected? The world absolutely doesn’t revolve around him.

I read four times in 2022 he met with President Biden’s White House aides. I am really pondering what that was all about. Then SBF cashed out almost $700,000 being on house arrest, after leading us to believe on the media that he has no money, and he may not spend more then $1000 each day.
1159  Other / Off-topic / Re: Good habits about learning on: January 01, 2023, 06:17:11 AM
Listening to classical music with noise-canceling headphones helps me focus and concentrate. There are proven medical studies that it does help with that ‘feel-good neurotransmitter’ that can boost self-esteem.

Classical music does not have any lyrics, it is the melody of musical instruments that soothes the brain. For me, I have an endless playlist that helps me complete a list of day-to-day tasks. You can listen to just a single instrument, like a piano, or just even strings like a violin or cello.

Or there is a full-on Classical orchestra with all the instruments. I think that this is a very helpful way to focus and you should try it.
1160  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where did you loose huge in your life ? on: January 01, 2023, 05:40:43 AM
Well there is only 1 thing that I think about if my life would be different now I am older. Not knowing my father my entire life has made me be more closer to the small family that are in my life.
My biological mother too I am not so close with and sometimes I wish I was when I know its a Holiday and on my Birthday. I now have accepted this is how life dealt me my cards but when I was a kid it was much harder for me to accept it.
