1081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2023 be another up year for Bitcoin? on: February 03, 2023, 06:51:54 AM
Well yes I do think we will see a up year for Bitcoin in 2023. I am still waiting for that important 25k price before I will begin to expect and hope for a 'bull market'.

I am reading many people online saying big numbers this year. I even seen someone say Bitcoin to 50k by end of year, which I do not find realistic. But wouldn't that just be something special if it did happen. I will be happy with price of 30k by end of this year.

It is important to live each day like it is out last one on this earth. This is because we do not know when we will go so we have to enjoy life when we are still here.
I know many people who passed away at a young age. It is sad to think of things that they could not do and did not live in the moments with no regrets.
1083  Economy / Speculation / Re: what now ? on: February 03, 2023, 04:48:23 AM
Well I am not so sure we can call Bitcoin 'bullish' right now. We have seen price point of like $24,100 but then soon it dips back down below 24k again.

I would feel more comfortable with the market when we touch 25k. This has not happened though since August, but this was only for a brief time. I think more people will become 'bullish' when we break $25,000 but who knows if this will happen soon or no.

1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: February 02, 2023, 06:22:34 AM
Well, Djed hit Mainnet so we are official now and on coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/djed

ADA is up 6% in the last week with total marketcap of $14 billion. It is trading for 40 cents each ADA. Its DEX Genius Yield $GENS is up 7% this month.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: February 02, 2023, 05:53:23 AM
Polygon is up 12% just last 24 hours and up 24% the last week with total marketcap of $10.8 billion. This is the most gains for any coin on the coinmarketcap top 10.
Global investment firm Hamilton Lane and its $823.9 billion of assets could be the reason. https://polygon.technology/blog/hamilton-lanes-2-1-billion-fund-opens-to-individual-investors-on-polygon-via-securitize

1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: January 31, 2023, 06:32:36 AM
We must remember that whenever the price of Bitcoin goes way down there is a case to be made that the same thing can be said with the alt coins.  Being in the middle of a 'Bear market' is no different.
I do not think our alt coins are 'dead' as this title states. But I do think it is is our better interest to hodl them or even trade them for Bitcoin for the time being at least.
1090  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to discipline yourself as a Man. on: January 31, 2023, 06:12:11 AM
Self-discipline begins when you are a toddler and goes through human development. Understanding the importance of self-discipline is an important aspect in anything. We can develop a skill as an adult, to understand our weakness and strengthen, the temptations of anything bad can be removed.

Especially our perception about willpower can hold such a great possession. Knowing that if we fail in something that a backup plan can be made and help you move forward with goals. This can be used for kicking a bad habit or wrapping up a project that needs to be submitted to your boss.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: January 30, 2023, 07:37:37 AM
Well there are only 2 more days in the month of January. I am very excited for the release of ADA stablecoin Djed to go live any time now.

It is set for mainet launch this week and we have all been looming forward to it. With the release of its stablecoin we can only hope there will be more adoption to the Cardano network.

ADA is up 5% in the last week with total marketcap of $13.5 billion. Many people are guessing we can see huge gains and price increases when Djed is launched even $1 per coin.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: January 30, 2023, 06:57:28 AM
Federal prosecutors think that SBF should be forbidden to use encrypted messaging software like Signal. They are saying he is using them to send messages for witness tampering.

This all came form SBF reaching out to a potential witness his his trial. It was General Counsel of FTX US. He is also in contact with other current and former FTX employees, which is not allowed from the judge. The government wants to prevent 'obstruction of justice'.
1093  Other / Off-topic / Re: Procrastination is a dream killer on: January 30, 2023, 06:48:34 AM
Procrastination is a very bad habit to have. It is beyond being lazy. From firsthand experiences procrastination does not make it any easier to get a project completed. Which does have a negative impact on the type of employee that you are.
This leads to bad evaluations and can affect your salary. With knowing that it is negative there are steps that you can take to overpower this negative quality. You can start out with having a list of tasks that needs to be accomplished and making sure that those tasks are manageable, leaving yourself room for any errors. This way you can become a better employee.
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: January 30, 2023, 05:09:32 AM
No I do not think it is possible to see Shiba Inu get to $1 just from its marketcap alone. I think this is genera overall opinion from what people are saying. It is a meme coin, not to be taken very seriously.

I do not hodl any of them, but I do hodl some Doge. I will be honest when I say I only stacked some of them because of Elon Musk. Generally meme coins are not to be taken very seriously, they serve no purpose and are just for fun.
1095  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cheating online during midterms on: January 30, 2023, 04:52:52 AM
Well I do not think it is worth it for you to cheat. Cheating on an online examination is tempting as everything is in the palm of your hands. Information is easily given to one by a single search online and the internet holds so much to show that one can easily cheat.

I cannot cheat online as I know that I will have a guilt sitting inside of me, also knowing that there is a web monitoring online cheating just clarifies the fact that I will not cheat. Having to cheat can show the poor skills that you possess, and it can also be indicative of who you are in real life. Cheating is morally and ethically wrong, especially in exams.
1096  Other / Off-topic / Re: Boy, 13, born without LEGS wins place on his school's basketball team on: January 30, 2023, 04:24:41 AM
Now, who can ever think that a young man born with no legs can be an inspiration to others. This shows the encouragement he has with himself and those around him that this is true greatness.

The support system that he has, his mother, to his coach, and his teammates overcomes any barrier he has with his disability. He even scored with an opposing team in action. I just hope that they too can see he is simply reaching out for his dreams and is showing that no one can stop him.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 28, 2023, 03:42:29 AM
Well I think people are always interested in Alt coins because they can result in big profits. But also with big profits is fast profits, if a new project becomes popular it can see 100% gains or even more in less then 24 hours.

I think a lot of this is because of the ICO. Many people myself as well saw opportunity for fast gains with little unknown projects. But most Alt coins do not make as much profit as Bitcoin but maybe just faster.
1098  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: January 28, 2023, 03:20:51 AM
Last movie I watched was the Empire of Light. What captured me was the cinematography, a British resort style area, setting in the early eights.

It shows a history of how there is this woman fighting her own battle with mental illness. How she overcomes her mental illness with meeting a co-worker that wins her heart. The film showed a dark period of a dark period of racism and violence through racism.

Mental illness and violent discrimination itself are dark and sad. This movie shows how these particular people found their way through the tunnel to reach for that light. I do recommend this movie to others so that they can be educated.
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you into crypto at the moment? on: January 27, 2023, 05:31:33 AM
Well let us be honest when we talk about why we are into Crypto. Yes we like the technology I think most do but we also want to make many gains from being the 'early adopters' for the future.
You must ask yourself this question. If Crypto did not give us a option to make lots of profit just by HODLING onto it, how many of us would really be here? I do not think this is a poor choice to make but it has to be main reason for most people who buy it.
1100  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help me! To Learn More about New Search Engine on: January 27, 2023, 04:28:22 AM
Well I will admit I think google is the best search engine but I tried yours. I think it is a nice concept that gave me some similar results for google searches. I looked where I could buy some shoes I like.

The thing I did enjoy abouty your seach engine is the store icons. Ths makes it quicker to find what stores have a product I searched for. Google does not have this but your search engine did take longer to return my search results.
