1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Back To Promoting Doge as a Payment Method for New Cologne on: November 01, 2022, 06:20:44 AM
Well to no shock DOGE is up 140% this week leading all other coins. The price of DOGE went up 11% after a tweet of his Shiba Inu puppy Floki.

1303  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dogs or Cats? (Highly off-topic) on: November 01, 2022, 05:58:56 AM
I think both dogs and cats make great pets and each have unique strengths and weaknesses.
For my lifestyle, I think cats are the superior pet because of my busy work schedule and lack of access to a backyard.
Moreover, dogs require a great deal more personal attention and at this stage of my life I don’t have the time to give a dog the interaction necessary to keep them intellectually stimulated.
1304  Other / Off-topic / Re: The worlds Dirtiest man has passed away on: October 30, 2022, 06:52:56 AM
I am happy he finally passed away because someone like that should not even get any media attention. This is sick to my stomach that they would even name this guy the World’s Dirtiest Man.
It's an insult to human society to have someone refuse to take a shower simply because of a few emotional setbacks. The man could have asked for him but no it took a while to convince this guy to finally take a shower after 60 years is absurd and should have been arrested since the first year he began with this nonsense.
The problem was not solved by isolating the old man, instead, they could have locked him up and other prisoners would have forced his disgusting self to shower.
1305  Other / Off-topic / Re: WhatsApp is down worldwide on: October 30, 2022, 05:06:01 AM
Ever since Facebook bought WhatsApp, I no longer use WhatsApp as it is not secure or private to communicate. Whereas the Signal App on the other hand includes a similar interface, one-to-one chat, group chat, file transfers, photos, voice calls, and video calls which are end-to-end encrypted.

Only the people involved in the chat can view them which always give me that extra feeling of privacy. End-to-end encryption happens between the individual phones that are using the Signal App.

Even the company that operates Signal App cannot see these messages even if they wanted to.  This is because Signal created its own encryption protocol for this.
1306  Other / Off-topic / Re: Missing grandma’s body found in monster python that swallowed her whole on: October 30, 2022, 04:47:37 AM
I was completely shocked to hear that a 22 ft python would be capable or even able to swallow a whole human. I would not be able to imagine being a family member of the missing grandmother and finding out that a monster python killed her, it must be very devastating.

The environment where police found the monstrous python was a forest in Indonesia and in those parts of the world, I believe the villagers some be more cautious of their surroundings. I probably would want to move to a city and get away as far as possible from any snakes if this ever happened to someone that I knew.
1307  Economy / Economics / Re: Education on: October 30, 2022, 03:00:31 AM
I believe more now than ever that work experience is more important than book knowledge and having a background of education. Having hands-on experience gives you a lot of advantages that fresh college graduates will not have and hand-on experience does not come with a expensive bill.

This is also because I believe it is also important who you know that will be able to open that door for you to continue getting more experience. For some people education is very important for them to succeed in life but not for all.
1308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leaving your coins on exchanges on: October 28, 2022, 07:23:34 AM
Personally, I would not recommend leaving your coins on exchanges at the moment. With the recent turn of events with the market crash and a current 'bear market', I think there is too much risk locking up your crypto.
I did like to leave my coins on Binance to stake them but now this has changed. I'm fully aware of the rewards of tokens by staying in but I think there is just too much uncertainty in the global economy for that kind of move.
1309  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk is a Sissy-Bitch on: October 28, 2022, 05:36:15 AM
Elon Musk now owns offcially twitter and he has already fired top Executives.  I'm a little bit disappointing in these decisions to do this so fast.

Legal and policy executive Vijaya Gadde who banned Donald Trump
Chief Executive Parag Agrawal
Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal
General counsel Sean Edgett
1310  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is a puzzle ! on: October 27, 2022, 10:12:33 AM
I think a puzzle may be a good metaphor for life. It can very much be a game and it also can be somewhat confusing at points. Furthermore, there are some fundamental rules to a puzzle much like life.
A potential danger to this perspective is that there may be nothing to solve. I think ‘seeking’ is healthy and it's great to be curious but constantly being analytical about life could be missing the point.
I think as long as your taking time to be in the present moment and smell the flowers so to speak, some of the time at least, the puzzle metaphor works for me.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And officially worst year for investors on: October 27, 2022, 09:49:53 AM
2022 is going to be the worst year for crypto investors. Any thoughts guys?
Well some people will think as you are because of all the profits we had that are now becoming big losses big in the long term of things this is small and we will get over it.
There will always be corrections at certain points. Bitcoin is here to stay and I think the value will continue to reach new highs in the near future.
Bitcoin is not a short-term or turnaround investment. Just HODL or use this time to buy more coins.

1313  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Metaverse still a thing on: October 27, 2022, 09:23:03 AM
Well I think we are only beginning to see Metaverse and the future will be very big for it.  It is still a thing and a thing we will all be excited to look forward to.
I will open a new source of revenue streams for many companies who are looking to create a business in the Metaverse which will be very normal in the future.
I am really looking into what the future of the Metaverse has to offer with different new technology like virtual reality and computer generated simulations.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk is one of the keys to be 100k$ per Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2022, 09:09:54 AM
Well I think now he has officially moved into Twitter and even brought his own kitchen sink.  Now we must wait for the price of Bitcoin to reach 100k.

1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins is a good way to keep and save money or not? on: October 24, 2022, 08:13:48 AM
Well the only stable coins I HODL are Tether and USD coin because I feel they are the most traded of all the stable coins when it comes to daily volume.

Since most of my crypto portfolio consists of Bitcoin and always looking to add to it, these are my 2 most trustworthy of them all.  Maybe I will not make money only by saving them but they are the 2 I trust for long term holding.
1316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency and Gambling on: October 24, 2022, 07:35:47 AM
Yes I absolutely think cryptocurrency can be linked to gambling. In many ways they are basically the same thing. There is smart, strategic gambling as well as investing and there’s also being reckless with your money.
The key here with both gambling and investing in crypto is to not take on risks that could potentially have huge negative consequences. I always recommend never playing with more money then you could afford losing.
The key to all this is to minimize your risk and not overextend yourself financially. I love the thrill of investing in crypto and gambling but I always try to be levelheaded and take responsibility for whatever decisions I make.
1317  Other / Off-topic / Re: Experience is the teacher of all mistakes on: October 24, 2022, 06:48:41 AM
One should never stop themselves from making a mistake as it makes us who we are.  We cannot erase any of life’s experiences.

It gives the confidence to push forward. It is a part of being human, developing, and growing.
1318  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: October 24, 2022, 06:30:16 AM
Last night I watched Reminiscence with Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson. It has many sci-fi and noir elements I typically enjoy.
Overall, I think the movie was entertaining and I enjoyed it but I can see why it probably didn’t do that well at the box office. It takes a lot of inspiration from great movies that I have loved but maybe doesn’t add enough to the genre.
As a side note, I don’t particularly enjoy films that use climate change as a plot device for our future world. I know this is a very small issue and for the record I am very concerned for the state of the environment.
But typically I like films that get me to think about futures that are dealing with completely different challenges from the ones we have now.
I think the film is worth checking out and I think the acting and story was solid but I wish I came in with lower expectations and I probably would have enjoyed it more.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: October 23, 2022, 06:00:19 AM
I am the first to admit that I have considered selling some of my long term crypto investments. Right now I am seriously feeling the effects of the inflation at the pump and certainly when I buy groceries.
I believe in the blockchain, I believe in Bitcoin and I feel that the technology adds tremendous value to millions of people around the globe. These days I don't even look at my wallet because I believe this crash will pass and when it does I will be thanking my lucky stars I didn't sell cheap.
On the other hand, I’ve always believed in BTC for the long term and always said there was going to be volatility on our way to 100k. My motto is HODL because I am a true believer.
1320  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ex-Day Care Workers Charged After Scaring Children With ‘Scream’ Mask on: October 23, 2022, 05:46:27 AM
In all things you're scaring children at a day care center. A daycare, caring for someone else's child and the responsibilities fall into not having fear.
This goes beyond bullying and frightening children. Some of these kids are traumatized and the parents will require training on how to cope with their childs aftermath and find a new daycare provider.
Definitely, they all should be charged, fined and taken their license so that they not work for caring for children. To be accountable for their behavior is absolutely the right thing to do.
