961  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 22, 2023, 09:36:53 AM
The role of entrepreneurs, especially women, is of course very much needed to be able to improve the economy, currently there are many entrepreneurs from men because many people still think that women are companions for men so they feel just at home and don't need to be entrepreneurs,
The world is changing quickly and the belief for women to take over men's occupations and whatever we do are also starting to build up. In a time where grit and side hustles are being made by almost everybody. There is no exception on who can do better and that.

it's only natural that most women are single and not dependent with husbands then they can become successful entrepreneurs.
While it is odd to see men stay at home and do household chores, like that? In our country, it's all about how you take care of your relationship with your spouse/husband and how you want to deal with daily living. Gender is no longer an issue on who's going to work hard and who's going to stay at home doing chores.

963  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Otoridad/Police nagbabala tungkol sa play to earn scheme on: August 22, 2023, 12:27:02 AM
964  Economy / Economics / Re: Were Banks and Governments behind this Dump? on: August 21, 2023, 09:46:31 PM
There is some info that the Space X impact isn't that much and it's made look like they're the reason for this dump to make it look how strong they are. But as the factor being listed on the OP, it's most likely the banks and interest rates that have been the main reason on this one. It is intriguing and confusing when you don't follow the market and only relies to the news that are coming out to the media and they're making it buzzier and noisy to assume that everyone will believe what they say. So they feed those reasons even if they just made the slightest impact and tries to hide the actual starter.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you gained anything after the end of bull run? on: August 21, 2023, 09:07:22 PM
Last bull run was 2021 and after that, altcoins price dumped a lot. In 2022, we noticed a little pump and in this year 2023, altcoins pumped a lot, if compare altcoins price chart after end of bull run.           So have you able to gained anything after the end of last bull run? Or last bull run makes you dumped and you are still trying to regain what you have lost?
I did some.
But that wasn't a lot compared to what people are flaunting their profits off social media. The tendency of those profits that they've made it is that they're all fake and all for the flex and advertisement of what they're up. If it's about the losses, those are like paper losses that have projected to my portfolio but I want to take them as much as I can in the next bull run. But as this is a cycle, that's usually going to be the same again if the bull run comes next again next year or so.
966  Economy / Economics / Re: All millions are from real estate. on: August 21, 2023, 08:30:05 PM
All millions come from owning something of value. It doesn't matter if it's real estate or not. Sure it's the most reliable out there but at the end of the day as long as you're invested in something that will yield you dividends in the future it's all good really.
Well said and there's also the REITs. If someone didn't come by with that, that's a cheap way to invest in the real estate but note that it's not that you own the property. It's like pool funds that you invest into real estate companies and they're the ones managing it for you just like index funds.

I understand the hype surrounding real estate now but it's people like these who pushes people to buy more into the land-owning business that causes prices to jack up and rent to increase in value. You gotta understand that somewhere along the pipeline a low-income earning member of the society is stuck between homelessness and paying their rent, all because housing prices are jacked up to astronomical levels that owning a house right now is reserved for rich people and renting is your only recluse if you don't want to live in the streets.
There's no hype in the real estate, it's just it's been there since long time ago and with the limited land resources that we've got, that's why its value keeps on appreciating over time. That's the sad truth that you've mentioned that not everyone can own their own houses and that's why those that can't afford it have chose to rent and those that are capable of buying their own, they're buying and having it rented and that's why it's a strong passive income.
967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH LESS MONEY? on: August 21, 2023, 07:53:12 PM
If you have a modest amount, let's say $150 a month to invest, here's a mindset to consider:

Maximize Risk-Taking:
Go for meme plays x10 or x100, or even lose it all. Take huge futures leverages. In the worst-case scenario, you might lose everything, but if you win, your $150 could turn into $1,500 or even $15,000.
I have seen people that does this but this isn't recommended for the newbies. They're going to burn their money doing this, that's why if they want to learn trading and with futures, they need to start with a lesser amount that they can afford to lose. They shouldn't be encouraged with those people projecting how much they've earned because sometimes, it's just the wins that they share and doesn't include their losses.

Full-On Portfolio:
For you, diversification might not be the key. Go all in on a project. With less money, you need to make a big impact. Going all in could be a life-changer.
Better to do this in Bitcoin. So your choice matters.

Farming Airdrops:
Rolling rewards are also quite smooth. Focus on L2 Ethereum solutions.
While I do see people in certain groups that are focused on airdrops, I do see them earn really good amounts on it. But the effort they're giving on it is like, they're spreading and joining almost all of the airdrops that they're seeing and that's what I can't do. They've got a lot of time and effort being exerted in doing so.

WORK to Earn:
Find ways to increase your income. If Grab/Ubers isn't enough, go do some grunt work or community management. Maybe you'll make $50/month and chuckle about it. 🤣

Every player has a different strategy. Every flower has its own branch, every home its scene. Remember, don't lump everyone together.
This is the easiest, you get paid to work and as you get paid, that's the money that you'll use in buying more and adding more for your portfolio.
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN: Give people time! on: August 21, 2023, 07:29:04 PM
Yup, we have to give them time as we're all free to think if we should buy Bitcoin or not. We don't have to force people into buying it and if we've told them already what they should be doing like buying bitcoin when it's cheap, that's more than enough. I've got similar stories but I am just keeping it to myself due to the early frustrations that I've taken but, that's a lot of experience to learn and we've got our own ventures and styles with investing, whether it is for ourselves, our future and anything that lies to our own decision making. People will realize it that they're quite late into investing even if they're not. We've been telling a lot of them that they're still in the early phase and the market still has a lot of room to grow, never listen to skeptics.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 21, 2023, 06:51:15 PM
There are casinos like stake that don't really require you to pass on KYC unless you're being asked and your transactions had gotten big. So, if you're okay with passing on KYC before doing a deposit, that's fine. But as much as you can see, not everyone is cool with that and that's why they're not willing to submit their KYCs to the platforms that they are up with unless they're being asked for. Anyway, that's a good call if you're going to be asked later then why not do it before they ask you to, right? For some instances, there are users that are being asked for detecting dubious activities and they needed to get cleared through KYC. Although I don't know know on how they're detecting user activities with that reasoning so, better to just comply if you've got funds there and you wanna keep playing on them and also to get your deposit.
970  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 21, 2023, 06:18:45 PM
Gambling money is really easy money. Because here no one has to work hard only to stake money against some result. but there are many risks that not everyone can afford. many people are very lucky due to which they can achieve great things from gambling and seeing them, others are also attracted to gambling and dream of making easy money by jumping into gambling. This is how the gambling issue is spreading among everyone. and not everyone is able to keep gambling a secret because gambling is now considered a common thing by everyone
It is common these days, for those people that are afraid to be known that they're a gambler then they're keeping it as a secret. But as soon as someone has notice what they're up to and they can no longer hide anymore, that's how they're revealing their secret that they're a gambler despite being known in their communities that they could be a respectable person and seems to be not doing such activities. That is a common thing that's being revealed for some gamblers because they're protecting their image and there are also companies that won't allow someone who's a gambler to be part of them. It is because that knowing someone is into it, they might have just wasting their time and resource for that employee and it won't do any good not just for them but for the sake of the company that they're working for.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos games are not made by the casino teams but... on: August 21, 2023, 05:59:07 PM
I always consider games from one casino to be easily manipulated if the casino is the one that builds the game, when it comes to reputable online casinos, they always offer favourite games from trusty developers, this mean they don't build those games themselves.

The question I have in mind is, aren't the developers the ones that should be responsible for any manipulation in the games or it's still possible for the casino team and members to manipulate the game engines?

Some people still think that games on online casinos are from the casino teams themselves but those games are from software providers, is this valid or not.
Since the casinos have bought that through the third party provider, it's plausible that they can modify some of its codes or depending to the contract that they've signed with the developer if they're allowed to. If not, then that's good that they can't modify and manipulate the game itself. But it's also possible that they can and that's really depending if they've given the authority to do so or if they have an agreement that the developer can do any modification that they can based on the request of the casino that purchased the game. While it's true that the casinos are being blamed for manipulating it, then I guess it's the latter that I've said that everything can be done by them since the developers can just follow whatever they say.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 21, 2023, 05:20:35 PM
They can't get of themselves and there's no resource for them anymore and that's why they're borrowing money to gamble.

Not necessarily no resources anymore because these people will never get a loan if the loaning company does not see any capability of the person to pay.  More or less the loanee have the capability to pay because there is a source of income attached to their application like their daily jobs. This gambler may just don't have patience to wait for his salary that is why he loaned money for gambling.
Yeah, make sense that their main resource is just their salary and they're allowed to loan based on how much they're earning. And when they've got no money anymore, that's how they're resolving their issue of having no money by taking a loan. But that's not even solving a problem instead, it's making a new one.

That's a common mistake we do see from the addicted gamblers and they will only realize it when they're already done or once they look at how much money they have borrowed to gamble. Very unwise move as we can see from them but that's what they think is a best move for them to keep on track with their gambling activities. Soon, it's not just all about borrowing but also with the potential of selling everything they own and the assets that they have if they will still be caught having no emotional control.

I agree, it is really unwise to gamble with the loan money.  There are lots to lose here since when loaning, we need to pay for the interest and the amount we loaned.  Then playing on gambling platform and losing them all simply means our next payday is already committed.  This will bring us financial shortage and the start of headache for us.
It is a reason why I don't take any loan just for gambling. If I wanna have fun, it's very simple and I don't use any loaned money but my personal money whether it's for recreational activities like gambling or if I want to earn some as I gamble. But typically, when I gamble, I make sure that I'll just have to lose that money eventually.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New bull market or new bear market ahead? on: August 21, 2023, 11:22:07 AM
Right now, it is looking very bearish for our coins because recently, we had a big loss. Bitcoin and Ethereum almost dropped 10%.
But Bitcoin and Ethereum are still up from previous gains.
It is very difficult if we will have new bull market or new bear market ahead.

What is your personal expectation?
Not difficult to have a new bull market. That's what we're waiting for and it's gonna be the savior of this market as of the moment. But to expect it come, it won't come on an instant and see to it that it's likely to come maybe by next year or so. That's why I don't see any reason for us to think if it's a bull or bear market, it's difficult. No, we just have to be used to it and do your own thing whenever you have to. If the market is not good for you as it's bearish, still think positive because you'll have to see how good the market after this dump. And if you have done the exact thing that you have to while we're experiencing this like buying when the price of Bitcoin is low. In fairness with ETH, it didn't plummet that much despite Bitcoin's dump.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: August 21, 2023, 10:17:23 AM
I always have a bad attitude towards XRP.
There were people that don't like XRP even before. And even when the time that it reached an all-time high, still many disliked it.

Dishonest speculation went on for many years  Angry
It has come from the speculators that have invested in it. And as for the team, they've been dealing with their SEC lawsuit and I guess it's just this year that they're able to breathe properly. Despite of that being a good news, I still don't own any of it but if it's about transactions, no doubt that it's one of the fastest and good choice as an alternative. But as an asset and investment, no for me.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption in Turkey Grows Stronger on: August 20, 2023, 11:38:05 PM
Good news and I think every country that has inflation has to choose another currency for their transactions that would be more convenient to their people.
And that's what Turkey is doing and there's Venezuela that has hyperinflation and people are also filling things with crypto transactions because it's saving them a lot of hassle from the economic downturn that they're having.
More adoption and hopefully it won't just be these countries that are suffering economically but, we can also see how Bitcoin has been helpful to them.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free NFTs real or fake? on: August 20, 2023, 11:07:07 PM
Most of them have got zero value or if they're projecting a value as you receive it, you don't need to be gullible with them because they're doing that for you to get more curious. I don't know how they're doing that but mostly with the smart contract that they use and do with these NFTs.
Don't be too curious with them when you're seeing thousands or hundreds in value as you receive it out of nowhere, you're gonna be spending a lot of gas fee on that and they will suck it out when your curiosity becomes your main concern for them. Thus, the NFTs are likely not big thing anymore.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 20, 2023, 10:36:30 PM
Most of those kinds of gambler who take loans to continue playing or betting are addicted gamblers who needs help to stop their addiction, just the same with what you said, those who are trying to chase their losses that resort to barrow money to try recovering mostly turned to another bad position, losing the amount that they barrow and look for another resources or try to find someone who can lend them money, it adds up with the problem that's been created from the previous loans that being done.
They can't get of themselves and there's no resource for them anymore and that's why they're borrowing money to gamble. That's a common mistake we do see from the addicted gamblers and they will only realize it when they're already done or once they look at how much money they have borrowed to gamble. Very unwise move as we can see from them but that's what they think is a best move for them to keep on track with their gambling activities. 978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What micro games is best for you? on: August 20, 2023, 10:06:50 PM
Dice, it's simple and easy. You can bet as much as you can and the lowest that you can probably bet. For those that are always on the go, this is the game that they can play if they also wanna bet with small amounts. While plinko and slots, they're also good but if it's about dice then I'd prefer more dice than all of them.

I think slots works well in my gambling style.  Since there is this auto bet that can be used when I just wanted to sit back relax and watch the spins, there is also the bonus buy if I wanted to jump to the bonus round asap and the tendency to win 1000x+ without adjusting the multiplier since result is random.

Aside from that, I also like the animations and audio effect which keeps me entertain for an hour or two plus the so many variation of slots to choose from.
The same goes for dice that there's auto bet feature and it will dice automatically for you but about the sounds, you got it. I also like the sounds in slots but only the sounds at most times though.  Tongue
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: August 20, 2023, 09:43:29 PM
Because
Sleep dreams that the tendency to suddenly become rich Cry

This is not really normal because meme coin is more dangerous in this crypto market. They always collect money from investors by showing amazing attractive offers. In reality their project does not last long in the market because most of the team members of meme coin are new generation and they have less experience.
Everyone knows what meme coins are. The thing is people look at it as a quick profiting coins and that's why everyone is hunting whatever coins they wanna hunt.

They are coming to the market only to grab the investor capital completely.
And the majority of the investors are playing it naive in that they don't wanna think that they're being fooled because they've made a lot of money. When you're done and made a lot of profit already, that's when you have to stop and don't get into it unless you're willing to do it again and you're going to take the risk again that you know that could get you wrong and make you lose eventually. There's really no need to invest into meme coins but can't stop the people that have been on it ever since when they started coming from Dogecoin to Shiba and to the other meme coins.
980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: August 20, 2023, 05:26:30 PM
IMHO, everything is saying already the exact thing of what has happened and what's the real job of a betting agent. Yeah, why would he let the gambler borrow money? To pressure him so he'll come back, so what if he won't? That's how a business will turn into dust if there are styles like that per se. And for the worker, it's better not to gamble if you don't have money and if life's too hard then don't spend what you can't afford to lose and we're all saying that many times and for different cases. As usual, it's very applicable to those type of gamblers that becomes out of control when they're having fun.
