My my where has all the Bitcoin gone lol I posted 2 nights ago, we'd be lucky if 350.00 would become the new floor, after the first flash crash,,, and was mocked for posting that... appears that may be where we end this little ride at, around 350.00 Which in my opinion is decent and more realistic. But I fear it will go lower again. But what do I know or any of us apparently.. lol

wow I like!

Was nice to see while it lasted.... now lets hopefully find a new floor 350.00 would be nice Are there no old-guard left who remember flash-crashes? lol, I'm old enough to remember flash crashes, but following a flash rise...well? we'll see

The same bullshit over and over again, recycled to infinite by these short-minded delusional man childs in this thread. Bitcoin goes up 10-20-30 percent and immediately you get to see the imbecility unfolding for the x'th time.
Anyways, have fun dreaming about your retirement years, those luxury cars and the houses by the beach. We will talk again at 250$. It shouldn't take long.
Damn, your short got fucked up son. LOL

Price prediction is a dangerous game - it has a habit of making you look like a fool. But here goes, for your entertainment and pleasure.
My guess is that this train will keep going until we get well past the ATH, then it will fall back like a lead balloon, to somewhere above where we are now.
I wouldn't try to sell at the peak, because you can't spot the peak until we are well on the way down. So my advice is to hold on the up. Hold on the down. Wait a few months or a year or 2 for the next round which will be bigger than this one.
What is driving the price? I think it is just the close timing of the China capital controls, the EU VAT ruling, and making the front page of the Economist.
CC MB
Sounds as good as any predictions I've heard today your right on the "well on the way down" point.... you know you have peaked

1000 is hard dude. $31 after sitting between 8 and 5 for a year was not so difficult. somehow 1000 after sitting around 200 for along time seems harder, though the ratio is not so different.
Its hard to imagine back when it was steady at 900 ish Its like a dream almost... I made sure to get a piece of that just the same starting to take the same trend leading up to that Dec. though... lets see if this rise sticks
I think 400 possible for sure... but will it? lol
I think there just had to be a period of time for the bad image Bitcoin had from its unruly early days.... from Mt Gox, and Bitfloor hacked and others.., and scandals and Dark webs etc. ,, its no wonder people fled away. But the good news is now, things have and are changing in that perception and its usefulness to the world is growing (interest in blockchain technology) also with some new rules and higher standards in general. To Da Moon!!!

People, serious question here, aren't you afraid that we will crash really badly after this insane move ?
Didn't we always say, slowly and steadily better than this circus !!
I'm really afraid !!
I think everyone is a afraid of the impending crash.. If anyone says otherwise, don't believe em" lol However, nice to see it as a long overdue price correction
I think its almost time to break out the champagne relish the moment lol
Is it HAPPENING?
Its about time Maybe just maybe see a return on mining gear! ...lol
This little rise is so nice for a change. Not sure what's driving it, but I sure see a lot of big company's FINALLY taking notice in blockchain technology. Just don't call it Bitcoin lol Mining is what keeps that old blockchain heathy and strong. To da moon

Trying to import wallet.dat 4.4.6 from 3.3.3 asks for a password. 3.3.3 was not locked and a password is needed Have you synced 4.6 all the way and then unlocked the new wallet first (and generated a password), then try importing legacy wallet. However with the fork, I am not sure if legacy wallet 3.3.3 will import as it would before the fork... just some thoughts

IDK about you or anyone else, but I am using a lowly old outdated Linksys WRT54g wireless router and have had no problems with port forwarding in it nor announcing on the assigned IP ranges on multiple Pc's Sometimes ya just got to keep it simple, basic and practical lol I know the devs are fully aware of everything you said, and am sure in time all of that will be addressed. Again, I have been with this since the first blocks were mined and have seen it advance tremendously since. It is far from prime time and no one says otherwise. The fact is, it does work and will only get better with time and development. PS: and Dropbox is powered by fiat not crypto more specifically SIAcoin Hang with us Zer0sum

Disappearing files seems like an important bug to fix Tongue
We're looking into it now. As best we can tell, it's not happening all the time. We've got a 0.4.7 release coming out in a few hours [we hope!] that fixes the majority of the remaining database corruption issues. We'll try and squeak in a fix to the problem you are reporting as well, but like I said above, hard to be certain that the bug we found was responsible for the files disappearing. Hey thanks Taek, will watch for 4.7 and give it a try Thank you, PS: Would that error 500 when uploading have anything to do with it? wasn't seeing that ever until 4.4... I posted a screenshot at the top of this page. Just a thought Screenshot: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1060294.msg12760814#msg12760814I think I saw a commit pushed that fixes it, so it should be soon, but in the mean time go into your renter/ folder and manually rename the .sia_temp files to just .sia and the files will appear once again. That's all I had to do for them to return Hey Thanks! I will try that. Ill report back EDIT: Your brilliant! yes removing the _temp (on each individual file) makes them reappear like magic lol At least now this problem has been identified. Which brings me a great sigh of relief... I felt I was all alone on this one Will be waiting for that fix to be announced. AWESOME!

So any ideas as to where my uploaded files are vanishing too? And what is that Error: 500 internal server error I am getting when I do upload a file and pay for that storage, yet after I close Sia and reopen it my files are gone? I have done clean installs of the very latest Sia versions... cleared apps data out each time, and yes "siad" is stopping when closing.... Still waiting, otherwise Sia is useless with this problem for me. And if its happening to me its going to happen with others..... It does this on 3 different Pc's.. 2 are W7 64 and another W10 64... all suffering the same issue... LOST or VANISHING FILES? Ok, been with this project since launch, I have rolled with the punches with good results,,,, But this issue needs figured out.. I am at wits end.. THX
