Yes. Yes you do. Stop trying to find a rationale to not do the right thing. Doesn't look good on you, these forums, or the Bitcoin community.
No, I don't. And that simply isn't how this forum is run. Use the ignore button. My powers are limited to deleting posts and threads, moving threads, editing posts, locking, stickying, and wagging my finger— and all just in the subforums where I am a moderator.  If it makes you feel better go ahead and keep on imagining that I'm a misbehaving servant and that you can get something by trying to order me around or impugning my character. My ignore button works fine too, seemingly better than yours. Tongue

taking there money

Seriously, to allow BFL to advertise here when the majority of the community wish nothing more to do with them as a disgrace.

Yes, allow Anaba his fun posting (providing no names ext) but hang a big fat warning over his and the related members posts.

But advertising, shame on you. Shame for the community.

Let the members of the forum vote on this issue and act with the community interests.

Marto, will the current patch for CGMiner work with 3.9 or will you be releasing a new patch shortly.

Also can we expect our order status on the website to be updated when are units ship, is it worth us checking it..

Regards

I completely understand the logistics is a nightmare.

A simple cut-off point would be good for the future.
xxxx more boards required before assembly run would give customers an idea of where they stand,
or some indication of what batch there in with an estimate of when the batch will hit production.

Just food for thought,

Happy New Year

Am sorry to say that I have wished to purchase other products on offer over the past few months however with an outstanding order I refuse to do so.
I had a lot of faith here and pointed at least 3 others to technobit to get chips mounted.

I hope other products aren't effected in this manner.

I shall not purchase any products here in the future that are not off the shelf. Sorry

1311  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Bfl jalapeno failures and USB problems, SOLUTION FOUND on: December 23, 2013, 04:57:30 AM
After a quick read thorough, my 2 cents worth.

Am sure alot of these units will have been pluged in using a US/Euro adapter.

The PSU I received is auto switching so voltage is not a problem.

I have seen many of these adapters that do NOT carry an earth/ground pin. In this case the PSU may technically fail safe but the adapter is preventing the fault path to achieve this, raising the potential between the chasis ( and USB GND) to the ground. OUCH. So the fault path becomes dependent on the USB connection to the PC, be careful plugging that baby in  Shocked

Easy solution, cut the plug off and put a local one on, seek advice on connections

Brown = Live/Active
Blue = Neutral
Green/Yellow = Earth/Ground

I wonder out of the owed chip coin what percentage was through the webstore and what was through the Escrow Address.

Technically all was supposed to be in Escrow however it was not setup that way.

We could ask John to release Steve's details if this continues much longer, although most are public knowledge now anyways.
1313  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: T13hydra - Thread Locked, Unofficial Disscusion on: December 20, 2013, 09:00:48 AM
Chips were priced in BTC. I paid in BTC. Avalon refunded in BTC. And I want my refund in BTC.
Boards: priced in BTC, I paid in BTC.
Shipping: same.
And for those who are still owed BTC for chips, Steve received the refund and it was in BTC

If he borrowed this BTC for his own devices he must return it in BTC.

With regard to hardware, he needs to show the Invoices.

I'm sorry to say that I'm glad that I'm not alone.

I'm waiting for 6 Hex16A boards since 2013-09-20
cybex  for 8x Hex16A boards since 2013-09-20
varunsin  for 7 Hex16A boards since 2013-09-30

please feel free to add to this list or update status of your orders, at least we can see if they are shipping or not

wish someone was giving some feedback on the status or orders other than vague shipping dates.

southerngentuk for 4 Hex16A boards since 2013-09-20

I understand that it is difficult doing a board run when chip arrivals are fragmented. Therefore I have been patient. However looking at the dates we are all in the same period, have we been somewhat overlooked.  Shocked I know this is now an obsolete product, however we need a resolution.

Just setup a Google Spreadsheet here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApqxniIazmNidHdyMDZoQ3NhRVZkb0JuMGRBa0xqRHc&usp=sharing

Please put your numbers there, guys.
As long as above document is editable, if something is missing or wrong, please add it / correct Smiley

Sorry guys, I have been per-occupied with a house move and still have no proper internet. I have added this post to the first page, and once I have more time and a proper connection (and once i have reconfigured my miners  Wink ) I will try to keep the first post updated with the Info from Maltize spreadsheet.

Thank you Maltize for creating the spreadsheet I feel it is long overdue and we should of started collecting this data long ago.
1316  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: T13hydra - Thread Locked, Unofficial Disscusion on: December 16, 2013, 07:59:40 AM

Yes! Just sent you an e-mail. Ok, let's start with the beginning: purchased two knc miners. Not entirely out of your money, guys, remember that more people wanted in from my town, paying in fiat. Total of 1.3 TH/s. The plan for the continuity is that you mine stuff like PPC, TRC, uniportant things. Why? Because once a month they (might) reach a peak on which you make a shitload of bitcoins. But that's theoretical and it worked only a few times for me, so far, with small amounts of coins, like a max of 0.5 btc out of one full day's mining. About the receipt, no, i don't want to show any receipt. You can see the miner happily hashing even in a video if you like, but the invoice is a thing i just don't share to people on the internet, cached 1000 times per second by Google.

Maybe because they where purchased when refunds should have been issued ?

1317  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG HEX16A 7 GH/s/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: December 16, 2013, 05:09:32 AM

ALL outstanding Hex16a to be shipped in next few days

Hoping these are shipped now? status on my orders is unchanged.

maybe the new customer support guy could give us updates here on progress to save individual emails and time.
1318  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: T13hydra - Thread Locked, Unofficial Disscusion on: December 16, 2013, 04:33:10 AM
No PC/Laptop ? running two knc miners ? borrowed others money to buy them, without asking them first ?

Perhaps its time you liquidated them to process refunds??
1319  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: T13hydra - Thread Locked, Unofficial Disscusion on: December 05, 2013, 10:48:28 AM
The chips were in btc and should of been escrowed.

ANY value of hash rate given on KNC shares should be given on todays rates as he owes in BTC.

Steve cannot make this work, he gambled with your BTC and blew it. RIP
